Notes:The Chosen People- Shaikh Faisal

Tafseer Surah Baqarah: (The Chosen People)
Shaikh Abdullah Faisal
(morning dars 5.05.11)

Surah Baqarah
45. And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)].

--Allaah has commanded us to seek help in patience and prayer
--only those that are Saabireen will enter paradise
Allaah has told us in Qur’an that you will be faced with calamities and disasters and you have to have Sabr (patience) in order to not insult Allah
00There is nothing in Qur'an and Sunnah that tells you to be pleased with Qadr, but you should be patient with Qadr
--And if u insult Allah, Rasul or Quran it is tantamount to apostasy
And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." (2:155-156)
--The Qur’an has told you that you will be tested
--so since you are expected to be tested you have to be firm when you are tested
--Rasul(saw) said: wonderful is the state of the believer.  We are thankful whenever good comes and patient whenever a calamity befalls us and it is all good for us
Verily We have created man into toil and hardship (90:4)
--Patience also means that the thing is difficult but because Allah commanded it, you will do it without hesitation (praying, fasting, jihad/hajj, etc..)
--Life will never be a bed of roses, because Allah said that: We created man in hardship
Wonderful is the affair of the believer, whenever good comes he is thankful and this is good for him, and whenever a calamity befalls him, he is patient and this is good for him
--Prophet Yaquoob told his son that: no one despairs from the mercy of Allah except the Kaafiroon
--so in life you are not allowed to despair
--some people despair to the extent that they commit suicide
--If you should commit suicide by throwing your self from heights, you shall be in the hellfire doing exactly that
"O my sons! Go you and enquire about Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allah's Mercy, except the people who disbelieve." (12:87)
--the person who kills himself is not a kaafir, and will not be in the hell fire forever
--but The Khawarijj believe that he will be in the hell-fire forever
--Allah said "I am as my servant thinks of me"
--Whenever you are suffering in dire straits and you think Allah will rescue you then Allah will, but if you think Allah will not rescue you, then He would not
--You have to have sabr or you will insult Allah, you are not allowed to insult a sahabah much less Allah--The Jew insulted Allah, so Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq punched him in the face and [3:181] came down to say that Abu Bakr was speaking the truth and the Jew was lying
Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return. (2:245)
Indeed, Allah has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: "Truly, Allah is poor and we are rich!" We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: "Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire)." (3:181)

Shiites are Jews
--Shiites are Jews: they not only insult Sahabahs but also insult the Rasul and Allah as well
--The Shias hurl their insults at the companions of Muhammad (S.A.W), at Muhammad (S.A.W), and even at Allaah
·   “Allah often lies and does mistakes”  [Usool-al-Kafi, page 328, Yacoob Kulayni, Vol. 1]
his day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. (5:3)
--Even though Allaah said "this day I have perfected for you your religion" the Shias say that Muhammad failed as a prophet in his lifetime
--When the Kuffar write books, they put Muhammad s.a.w as number one, yet the Shias say that he failed in his lifetime to establish justice in the world
·   Every prophet came to establish justice on Earth. His aim was also to establish justice but he was not successful. The same is the position of the Seal of the Prophets who came to reform human society and establish justice but failed during his lifetime.' (Ittihad wa-yak-jihati:15)
·   The Shia believe that at the time of Mahdi’s return Imam Mahdi will resurrect Aisha (Prophet Mohammad’s wife) and execute the law of Hudud on her, for committing Zina (adultery) during her marriage. (Al-Anwar Al-Numaniyah, vol. 1, p.  161, Tafsir al-Shafi, vol. 2, p. 108, Haq al-Yaqeen, vol. 2, p. 256, Hayat al-Qulub, vol. 2, p. 611)
·   The present Quran is in an altered, corrupted and distorted form.. (Fatuhat-e-Shia, p. 129)
--Taqiyya = deception = they hide their beliefs
--they wont tell you what they really believe
--the belief of the Shias is so treacherous, they hide their beliefs and do Taqiyya
--The Shias have death squads in Iraq for killing Muslims because they are Jews
--no one hates Muslims more than the Shia
--they have hatred in their hearts for the Muslims because they themselves are not Muslims
--they try to destroy Islaam by attacking the character of the Sahabahs
--because the Shias don’t believe that the Sahabah have any credibility:
--They believe that the present day Qur'an we have is a corrupted text
--They believe Allaah broke his promise to protect the Qur'an
--You have to hate the Shias for the sake of Allaah
--You have to practice "Al Walaa Wal Baraa"
--They themselves are ashamed of their own Aqeedah that’s why they have to hide their beliefs and do Taqiyya

Surah Baqarah
46. (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return.
47. O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of your time period, in the past).
48. And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped.

Allah Prefers the Ummah of Muhammad
--Allah said that he preferred the Jews over the others
--he favored them with prophesy; He sent amongst them prophets
And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghut besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth). (16:36)
--Allah sent messengers to all the nations
--but The most famous of the Prophets were sent to the Jews like Abraham, Moses and Jesus
--as for Muhammad (S.A.W) he was sent for the whole world not to one nation
--he wasn’t sent to the Arabs only
-- He was not even just sent to mankind, but to men and Jinn
--And We have sent you (O Muhammad) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (21:107)
--the Jinn came to the prophet from Basra, Iraq and heard a wonderful Quran recitation so they went back to tell their ppl abt the wonderful recitation and said we will never ascribe partners to Allah. They were so impressed them came back to the prophet another day.  A delegation came to the prophet and he gave them the shahada.  They asked wat will be our food? Bones of the animals on which bismillah was recited.  The food for our animals? The droppings of our animals.  They wudnt leave until Rasul(saw) recited Surah ar-Rahman.
Never will we deny Allahs favors and onto you be all praise’
--The revelation of Muhammadeven envelops the animals
--Whenever a scholar of Islaam dies, the animals cry because that scholar use to tell the people to be kind and gentle to the animals

Rasulullah (saws) said: I was blessed with 6 things:
no prophet before me was blessed with it
1. Jawaami3ul Kalim = Amazing ability to speak
2. Ru3b = fear = one month before I fight the Kuffar
--they tremble with fear just to hear that Muhammad(saw) and the Mujaahideen are coming
--The law of fear is called = Qaanoon Al Khawf
--When you fear Allaah, people fear you but when you don’t fear Allaah, Allaah takes away from the people fear of you
--the Shaytaan use to walk on the other side of the road because
--he feared Umar Ibn Khattab (another aspect of Khawf)
--The more you fear Allaah, you draw nearer and nearer to Him
--but when you fear the creation, you abstain from it, it is opposite with Allah
--Another aspect of Qaanoon Al-Khawf
--when you are sinful, the Kuffar don’t fear you and when you are righteous, the Kuffar fear you [3:151]
We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). (3:151)
--Whenever you worship the creation then you have Wahn (fear) in your heart for the creation
--when you worship Allaah alone you fear no one except Allaah
--The more Taqwa you have, the more the Kuffar fear you
--The less Taqwa you have, the less fear the Kuffar have for you
3. Rasulullah(saw) said: The whole world was made as a masjid for me and my Ummah
4. The ghaneema(booty) was made Halaal for me
5. Every Prophet was sent to one nation, but Muhammad (saw) was sent to the whole world
6. Muhammad(saw) is given Shafaa3ah and will be able to intercede on behalf of the people
Ye are the best community that hath been raised up for mankind. Ye enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency; and ye believe in Allah. And if the People of the Scripture had believed it had been better for them. Some of them are believers; but most of them are evil-livers. (110)

We have 3 commands:
1) Command the good
2) Forbid the evil
3) Believe in Allah with correct understanding

You must believe in Allah tala properly - not as the Barelvis, Shia, Madkhalis or Tablighi do
--to NOT believe that Allah is on the Arsh is a bid’ah
--ALLAH is not everywhere ..
--to ask how Allah is on the Arsh is a bid’ah
--Christians believe Allah begets a child (that means to have sex)
--you must believe in Allah w/ the Aqeedah of the Sahabahs
The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. (20:5)
And when you (Muhammad) see those who engage in a false conversation about Our Verses (of the Qur'an) by mocking at them, stay away from them till they turn to another topic. And if Shaitan (Satan) causes you to forget, then after the remembrance sit not you in the company of those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). (6:68)
--ALLAH is the law-giver (they says to dismantle His Shariah, it's a minor offense)
--ALLAH did not over-react when the Jews dismantled the sharia
Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah? Worse (is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen ! Worse is he of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road. (5:60)
--A MADkhalis is a Saudi Salafi like the raafidha is the Shia
The only man who will go to hellfire is the one who wore his trouser below his ankles out of pride.  It has to be out of pride
--The Rasool (saws): "Whenever loves you and he wants good for you He gives you the understanding of the Deen"
--So for you to have dodgy aqeedah it is clear that Allaah doesn’t love you
--if you have the right Aqeedah, Allaah loves you
