The soil of Paradise is of Musk and Saffron
-- At the Roof of Paradise is Firdous : it is the highest paradise
-- At the roof of Paradise is The Throne of Allah
-- The rocks are made of pearls
-- the buildings are made of Silver and Gold
-- whenever a believer enters paradise : their homes are allocated to them
-- the Rasool said, you will be able to recognize your homes in paradise
-- better than the way you are able to in dunya
-- Allah spoke about the homes of Paradise 39:20

But those who fear their Lord (Allâh) and keep their duty to Him, for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allâh: and Allâh does not fail in (His) Promise. (SURAH AZ-ZUMAR 39:20)

''By Allah, in Whose hand is my life, all of you who enter the Paradise, when you are given your house to live in Paradise, your abode, you will recognise your house in Paradise more than the house you used to live in, in the dunya (this world).'' (Bukhari Vol 8 page 355)

QUESTION: How many levels of Paradise are there?

There are seven (we will list from highest level to lowest level)

Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the mujahideen who fight in His cause, and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the earth. So, when you ask Allah (for something), ask for Al-Firdous which is the best and highest part of Paradise."(i.e., The sub-narrator added, "I think the Prophet also said, 'Above it (i.e. Al-Firdous) is the Throne of Beneficent (i.e. Allah), and from it originate the rivers of Paradise.") Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4/48

Firdous: The highest Paradise: The 7th Paradise

Who shall inherit the Firdous (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever. (SURAH MUMENOOM 23:11)

Darul Muqaama : The 6th Paradise
-- Allah mentioned this in 35:35

Who, out of His Grace, has lodged us in a home that will last forever; where, toil will touch us not, nor weariness will touch us." (SURAH FATIR 35:35)

-- in paradise there is no toil ( struggle ) fatigue or stress

Ismail reported: I said to ‘Abdullah b. Abi Aufa: Did Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) give glad tidings of Paradise to Khadijah? He said: Yes. He did give glad tidings to her of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there would be no noise and no toil. [MUSLIM Book 31, No 5968]

Dar Al-Salam : The 5th Paradise

Allâh calls to the Home of peace (i.e. Paradise, by accepting Allâh's religion of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds and abstaining from polytheism and evil deeds) and guides whom He wills to a Straight Path. (SURAH YUNUS 10:25)

And this life of the world is only an amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew. (SURAH ANKABOOT 29:64)

Dar Al-Akhirah : The 4th Paradise

-- Jenaati 'Aden

Allâh has promised the believers -men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme success. (SURAH TAWBA 9:72)

Jenaati 'Aden : The 3rd Paradise : ( Gardens of Eternity)

Allâh has promised the believers -men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme success. (SURAH TAWBA 9:72)

-- Jenaati 'Aden : The 3rd Paradise : (Gardens of Eternity)
-- when ever Allah spoke about Jennah of itself, it means a garden
-- but when Allah said : Jenaati 'Adn it means paradise
-- When you go to paradise, you cannot be thrown out of Paradise
-- But when you go to "heaven" you can be thrown out if you didn’t behave

Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, They will abide therein forever, Allâh will be pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. (SURAH BAYYINA 98:8)

-- The garden that Adam and Hawa were in was not Paradise it was heaven
-- The keeper of paradise said
--"I was commanded by Allah not to open the gates of Paradise
-- to anyone before Muhammad"
-- This is clear evidence that Adam was in Heaven and not Paradise
-- there is a difference between heaven and Paradise
-- 98:8 , When Allah enters you into paradise, you will be there forever
-- Allah does not break His Promises
-- Adam was flung from the paradise
-- The shaytan has no influence over Paradise : but he was able to enter heaven
-- Shaytan possessed the snake to tempt Adam to eat from the tree

Jennatal Ma'wa : 2nd Paradise

Near it is the Paradise of Abode. (SURAH NAJM 53:15)

Jennatal Ma'wa : 2nd Paradise

Jennatal Na;eem : 1st Paradise ( Lowest Paradise )

And if only the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) had believed (in Muhammad SAW) and warded off evil (sin, ascribing partners to Allâh) and had become Al¬Muttaqûn We would indeed have expiated from them their sins and admitted them to Gardens of pleasure (in Paradise). (SURAH AL-MAIDA 5)

-- These are the seven levels of paradise that were mentioned in the Quran :
-- the names of these were taken from the Quran

1st River : Al Kawthar : 108

Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad (SAW)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise); (1) Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only) (2) For he who hates you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), he will be cut off (from every posterity good thing in this world and in the Hereafter). (108: 1-3)

-- this is exclusive for Muhammad : no one else will drink from it
-- however some scholars have said that Ahlul Bayt will drink from it :

Narrated by Ahmad from Anas, the Prophet (saw) said, "It is a river that Allah (swt) has given to me in Paradise. Its mud is musk and its water is whiter than milk, and sweeter than honey. Birds with necks like the necks of camels drink from it."

A spring there, called Salsabil. (SURAH INSAN 76:18)

River Tasneem : 83:27

It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnîm. (SURAH MUTAFFIN 83:27)

It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnîm. (27) A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allâh. (SURAH MUTAFFIFIN 83:27-28)

Verily, the Abrâr (the pious and righteous) shall drink of a cup (of wine) mixed with (water from a spring in Paradise called) Kâfûr. (SURAH INSAN 76:5)

Spring : Kâfûr : 76:5
-- each spring will have a different taste

And they will be given to drink there of a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabîl (ginger). (SURAH INSAN 76:17)

Spring : Zanjabîl : 76:17 (ginger)

And they will be given to drink there of a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabîl (ginger). (17) A spring there, called Salsabil. (18). (SURAH INSAN 76:17-18)

-- We shall continue to describe Paradise : Muhammad 47:15

The description of Paradise which the Muttaqûn have been promised (is that) in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed, rivers of milk of which the taste never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink; and rivers of clarified honey (clear and pure) therein for them is every kind of fruit; and forgiveness from their Lord. (Are these) like those who shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels? (SURAH MUHAMMAD 47:15)

-- Allah said the description of Paradise for the Muttaqun :
-- There are rivers of water that do not change : River of Milk that never changes
-- Rivers of wine: various types
-- each river of wine has a different taste from each other
-- the wine in dunya makes people intoxicated :
-- The wine in paradise does not intoxicate you
-- or make you vomit or have a headache
-- those who drink wine in the dunya will be barred
-- from drinking the wine in paradise
-- You aql tells you that there will be no wine in paradise ?
-- Rivers of Honey : people in dunya mix honey with sugar:
-- but the honey in Paradise is pure
-- You aql tells you that there will be no wine in Paradise ?

Rivers of Honey:
-- people in dunya mix honey with sugar : but the honey in Paradise is pure
-- Allah has something "EXTRA"
-- Allah will show His face to the people when they enter the Paradise

Some faces that Day shall be Nâdirah (shining and radiant). (22) Looking at their Lord (Allâh); (23). (SURAH QIYAMA 75:22-23)

-- There are 4 rivers waiting for you : water, milk, wine, and honey
-- No spring tastes the same in Paradise
-- There is no boredom in Paradise
