Those (who embraced Islâm from Banî Israel) to whom We gave the Book [the Taurât (Torah)] [or those (Muhammad's Peace be upon him companions) to whom We have given the Book (the Qur'ân)] recite it (i.e. obey its orders and follow its teachings) as it should be recited (i.e. followed), they are the ones that believe therein. And whoso disbelieves in it (the Qur'ân), those are they who are the losers. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubî.) (Al-Baqara 2:121)

-- those whom the Quran was revealed to recited it
-- and followed it properly (implementing it into their lives)
-- to recite the Quran properly is compulsory for the one who leads salah (as Imam)
-- it is haraam to pray behind a man who does not know
-- how to recite Surah Fatihah properly.
-- when you chose an imam make sure you chose someone who can recite it properly
-- a student went to Pakistan : heard an imam saying:
-- wa la zaaleen. : it is supposed to be wa la dhaaleen.

You have to know the rules of tajweed: Q T B J D

-- When you go to a masjid, the imam does not observe the rules of tajweed
-- (beautifying the recitation)
-- to recite it properly means to recite and to observe the tajweed
-- you can learn tajweed from a Deobandi, or Barelvis but not aqeedah.
-- you can learn fiqh from an Ashari .or deviant,
-- but you cannot learn aqeedah from the deviants
-- Abu Hanifah said Aqeedah is Fiqh Al Akbar:
-- this is what determines whether you will go to paradise.
-- if you pray with your hands on your belly or chest, it's not an issue,
-- it makes no difference as to whether you will enter Jannah
-- because it is fiqh: Not Aqeedah
-- but if you believe that you can make dua to
-- the Rasool Salah Allahu alayhe wasalam
-- then you will never enter Jannah as you have committed shirk.

FATALIST = JABRIYYA
-- You need to learn proper Aqeedah or you will become a deviant.
-- you practise the Quran properly:
-- meaning you have the correct tafseer of the Quran.
-- you cannot take tafseer from the deviants
-- you go to the chatroom of the rationalist, fatalists, SHIA, etc

When you are shopping for groceries, you make sure you put the best food in your basket. You want to be physically healthy. The Question is: why do you not be extra careful about your spiritual health, taking your deen from any deviant, going to the chat rooms of the Shia, Mu’tazila, rationalist, the nationalist, secularists.....
-- they are inviting Muslims to the gates of Jahanaam
-- shaytaan promised he would attack the ummah
-- the shaytan promised that he will mislead you:
-- attacking from the right and left, behind and in front.

(Iblîs) said: "Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path (16) Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You)." (17) [Al-Araf 7:16-17]

YOU ARE THE SIRAT AL-MUSTAQEEN IF YOU DO THREE THINGS RIGHT
1. fiqh
2. aqeedah
3. manhaj
(methodology of establishing the Islamic state)

-- sirat al-Mustaqeen = the straight path

You have 3 manhaj:
1)The leaflets (Tablighi dawah)
2)Ballot box (HT)
3)
BULLET [JIHAD] (The Mujahideen)

2,000 people took Shahadah in 1 day
-- when the nabi saw Mecca with an army of ten thousand
-- when you study seerah of the Rasool : you will realize that Jihad is the best way to Establish Islam. :

Muhammad (SAW) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allâh and the last (end) of the Prophets[]. And Allâh is Ever All Aware of everything. (Al-Ahzab 33:40)

MIRZA GULAM AHMAD

-- died in the toilet in India
-- a Prophet is buried where they die
-- so why do you not bury him in the toilet
-- when the Prophet died, the Sahabah held a Meeting to decide where to burry him.

Abu Bakr said: "I heard the Messenger of Allâh [pbuh] say: ‘A dead Prophet is buried where he dies.’ Ar-Raheeq al Makhtoom (The Sealed Nectar)

-- Some said, Jerusalem, others say Medina... And they could not agree
-- if you know that Muhammad was the best prophet
-- Why do you (Qadiyanis) say there was a prophet after Muhammad
-- Mirza Gulam Ahmad died in the toilet with faeces coming out of his mouth.
-- Then Abu Bakr said, I heard the Prophet say that we should
-- bury the Prophet exactly where he dies.
-- To practice the Quran properly you need to get
-- the right Tafseer from the right Scholar.

3 TYPES OF SCHOLARS ARE:
1 Sinful Scholar (sins but you do not know about it)
2. Wicked Scholar (a wicked scholar makes haraam halaal)
3. Sincere Scholar (on the haqq)

Abu Bakr narrated the hadith, "The Prophets are buried where they die."

Abu Bakr as-Siddiq came and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'No Prophet was ever buried except in the place where he died.' Muwatta Imam Malik

Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990)

"A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter " (Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373)

3 TYPES OF SCHOLARS ARE:
1. Sinful Scholar
2. Wicked Scholar
3. Sincere Scholar

-- You are allowed to take Deen from only the Sincere Scholar.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H): “Whenever a person makes halal what is haraam by consensus or makes haraam what is halal by consensus or replaces the Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the scholars of Fiqh.” (Al-Fataawa, Vol. 3/267)

-- We are living in the time where Imaan has weakened
-- and so we glorify the wicked scholar.

Those who give respect to a bid'ati (innovator in Religion) surely will be counted as a helper of destroying Islam. (Mishkat Sharif, p.31) (From The Virtues of Sunnah and the evils of Bid'ah in Islam by Mufti Sayyid 'Abd al-Rahim Sahib Lajpuri)

And fear the Day (of Judgment) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (Al-Baqara 2:123)

TAFSEER OF THE ABOVE AYAH:
Those who give respect to a bid'ati (innovator in Religion) surely will be counted as a helper of destroying Islam. (Mishkat Sharif, p.31) (From The Virtues of Sunnah and the evils of Bid'ah in Islam by Mufti Sayyid 'Abd al-Rahim Sahib Lajpuri)

The Prophet (SAW) said: "If anyone introduces an innovation in the religion, he will be responsible for it. (Good or bad). If anyone introduces an innovation or gives shelter to a man who introduces an innovation (in the religion) he is cursed by Allah, by His angels and by all the people." [Sunnan Abu Dawud]

ON JUDGMENT DAY

-- nobody can help anybody unless by doing the right thing.

-- If a man is in a tour & preaching kufr & you entertain him:
-- this makes you helping to destroy the Deen with him!
-- You should only entertain those Shayoukh who are on the correct Aqeedah.
-- Not a Barelvis, Shiite, Deobandi, etc.

And fear the Day (of Judgment) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (Al-Baqara 2:123)

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinn) (of your time-period, in the past). (Al-Baqara 2: 122)

Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Severe in punishment. (Al-Maeda 5:2)

-- They did not appreciate the Messengers sent to them & rejected Faith.

Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some you disbelieved and some you killed. (Al-Baqara 2:87)

-- When Allah said, the Jews were preferred,
-- it was in the generation before, not now.
-- Its, we the Muslims, Allah's chosen people, not the Jews
-- for they killed their Prophets!

Ibnu Abas said that the Prophet said: "Verily the most painful punishment on the Day of Judgment are those who kill the prophets or people murdered by the prophet or kill one of his parents, and making statues and knowledgeable people who do not benefit from his knowledge." - (Reported by Baihaqi)

-- If there is a community with dignity, honor & blessed
-- It is the MUSLIM community.
-- Because Allah said in Surah 3:110
-- We believe in Allah & command good & forbid evil.

You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh (Al-E-Imran 3:110)

-- We believe in Allah properly because we practise Asma wa Shiffat.
-- We are not like the Christians who say Allah rested on the 7th day
-- and Allah begets a Son, etc
-- All lies & blasphemy

WE BELIEVE IN ALLAH PROPERLY BECAUSE WE PRACTISE ASMA WA SHIFFAT.

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Al-E-Imran 3:85)

-- Those who don’t follow Islam, will be in hell fire forever & ever.
-- The Jews were the best community in the previous generation
-- but now they are cursed.

Those among the Children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawûd (David) and 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allâh and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. (Al-Maeda 5:78)

TAFSEER OF SURAH FATIHA, THE SCHOLARS MENTION 3 TYPE OF PEOPLE:

The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). (Al-Fatiha 1:7)

1. The Prophet's & the Sahabah: the blessed ones.
2. Jews: the cursed ones.
3. Christians: the astray ones.

..."Truly, Allâh is poor and we are rich!".... (Al-E-Imran 3:181)

-- The Jews slander Allah & kill Prophets.
-- the Jews killed the Prophet Yahya
-- Allah is swift, severe & decisive in taking revenge,
-- just like how he did with the Jews.

The Jews say: "Allâh's Hand is tied up (i.e. He does not give and spend of His Bounty)." (Al-Maeda 5:64)

-- as soon as Yahya was killed the king who killed him lost his kingdom
-- and lost everything
-- Allah is the avenger – al Muntaqim
-- Just like how Allah brings in natural disaster upon those who are evil:
-- Hurricane Katrina in USA [2005] etc.

'Whosoever acts with enmity towards a Friend of Mine, I will indeed declare war against him"[Hadith Qudsi: Bukhari]

-- The American invade Iraq & kill Muslims
-- Allah brings in disaster upon them, the Hurricane Katrina.
-- Allah has 99 names & attributes of which is Muntaqim
-- Severe & decisive in taking revenge.

And fear the Day (of Judgment) when no person shall avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (Al-Baqara 2:123)

ALLAH SAID NO PERSON SHALL AVAIL ANOTHER.
.
-- Prophet (pbuh) told Fatima, to fear Allah & practise the Deen
-- because if you don’t practice, I cannot save you.
-- Even if you were the member of Prophet (pbuh) but was slow in his good deeds
-- you cannot be saved because of your lineage.

"O people of Quraish (or said similar words)! Buy (i.e. save) yourselves (from the Hellfire) as I cannot save you from Allah’s Punishment; O Bani Abd Manaf! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment, O Safiya, the Aunt of Allah's Apostle!

-- Like how the Barelvis claim to be from the Sayyed & that they are the saved ones!

"And he who is slow in doing good deeds, his noble lineage will not quicken him (into entering Paradise). [Muslim]

-- Your claims of Sayyed, if you do not practise the Deen
-- you will not be saved for your lineage.
-- Just like Abu Lahab - who was also from the Prophets (pbuh) lineage
-- but was promised Hell fire!

...But Allâh chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allâh is the Owner of Great Bounty. (Al-Baqara 2:105)

-- They used to question Allah on why didn’t Allah chose
-- a prophet from their mighty cities
-- and someone rich & famous & not an orphan boy.
-- We can’t tell Allah who to bless, for Allah says in 2:105
-- But Allâh chooses for His Mercy whom He wills.

'On the Day of Resurrection the people will surge with each other like waves, and then they will come to Adam and say, 'Please intercede for us with your Lord.' He will say, 'I am not fit for that but you'd better go to Abraham as he is the Khalil of the Beneficent.' They will go to Abraham and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Moses as he is the one to whom Allah spoke directly.' So they will go to Moses and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Jesus as he is a soul created by Allah and His Word.' (Be: And it was) they will go to Jesus and he will say, 'I am not fit for that, but you'd better go to Muhammad.' They would come to me and I would say, 'I am for that.' Then I will ask for my Lord's permission, and it will be given, and then He will inspire me to praise Him with such praises as I do not know now. So I will praise Him with those praises and will fall down, prostrate before Him. Then it will be said, 'O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for your will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers! My followers!' And then it will be said, 'Go and take out of Hell (Fire) all those who have faith in their hearts, equal to the weight of a barley grain.' I will go and do so and return to praise Him with the same praises, and fall down (prostrate) before Him. Then it will be said, 'O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers! My followers!' It will be said, 'Go and take out of it all those who have faith in their hearts equal to the weight of a small ant or a mustard seed.' I will go and do so and return to praise Him with the same praises, and fall down in prostration before Him. It will be said, 'O, Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to, and ask, for you will be granted (your request); and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted.' I will say, 'O Lord, my followers!' Then He will say, 'Go and take out (all those) in whose hearts there is faith even to the lightest, lightest mustard seed. (Take them) out of the Fire.' I will go and do so."' When we left Anas, I said to some of my companions, "Let's pass by Al-Hasan who is hiding himself in the house of Abi Khalifa and request him to tell us what Anas bin Malik has told us." So we went to him and we greeted him and he admitted us. We said to him, "O Abu Said! We came to you from your brother Anas Bin Malik and he related to us a Hadith about the intercession the like of which I have never heard." He said, "What is that?" Then we told him of the Hadith and said, "He stopped at this point (of the Hadith)." He said, "What then?" We said, "He did not add anything to that." He said, Anas related the Hadith to me twenty years ago when he was a young fellow. I don't know whether he forgot or if he did not like to let you depend on what he might have said." We said, "O Abu Said ! Let us know that." He smiled and said, "Man was created hasty. I did not mention that, but that I wanted to inform you of it. Anas told me the same as he told you and said that the Prophet added, 'I then return for a fourth time and praise Him similarly and prostrate before Him me the same as he 'O Muhammad, raise your head and speak, for you will be listened to; and ask, for you will be granted (your request): and intercede, for your intercession will be accepted .' I will say, 'O Lord, allow me to intercede for whoever said, 'None has the right to be worshiped except Allah.' Then Allah will say, 'By my Power, and my Majesty, and by My Supremacy, and by My Greatness, I will take out of Hell (Fire) whoever said: 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah.' '' Volume 9, Book 93, Number 601 Sahih Bukhari

WHEN YOU ARE A YOUNG, 17 YEAR OLD GIRL
-- ANYONE CAN SWEET TALK YOU

-- that’s why you need a wali!
-- as a youth you have no experience of life
-- you don't listen
-- you need to sit and speak with older experienced people

The Prophet Musa will say ' I cannot intercede because I killed a man'

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa salam) said: “O Muslims! Sit with your elders, question the scholars, and meet wise people.” [Tibrani, Mishkat]

The Prophet Isa will not give any of his mistakes but will say he cannot do so
They will then go to the Prophet Muhammed saw and he will intercede
The great intercession - Shafa3a

-- the shafa3a is for those who died on the battlefield,
-- the child who died before puberty
-- will intercede for his parents
-- a Muslim must have prayed daily to have shafa3a

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (At-Tur 52:21)

-- this is the evidence that a child will beg Allah to
-- forgive his parents and let them join him/her in Jannah
-- Only by Allah's will, will one man be able to receive shafa3a by another man
-- shafa3a is for those who prayed only - 19:87 is the evidence
-- Only by Allah's will, will one man be able to receive shafa3a by another man

The Holy Prophet (saw) said: “For every Nabi, Prophet there’s a dua which Allah shall answer. I saved up my dua to use it as intercession to beg Allah to give every member of my Ummah the Jannah on Judgment Day.”

And We shall drive the Mujrimûn (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), (86) None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Gracious (Allâh). (87) [Maryam 19:86-86]

Surat al-Muddathir 74:42-48

"What has caused you to enter Hell?" (42) They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer the Salât (prayers) (43) "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); (44) "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allâh hated) with vain talkers (45) "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense (46) "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." (47) So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them (48) [Al-Muddaththir 74:42-48]
Allah has warned us we must pray, or we are not of those who will receive shafa3a
-- on the day of judgment

Imam Malik : Book 15 : Hadith 15.8.26 Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Every prophet is given a supplication (dua), and I wish to preserve my dua as intercession for my community in the next world.

Q: What are the halal and haraam types of waseelah
Answer: It’s a good question on the Haraam & Halaal types of Waseelah:

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (At-Tur 52:21)

Waseelah means to draw near to Allah
-- to seek a means by which you draw near to Allah.
-- there are different types of waseelah that are halal
-- you were encouraged by Allah in the Quran. Al Maida 5:35

Al-Maeda O you who believe! Do your duty to Allâh and fear Him. Seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can). So that you may be successful. (35)

-- we have a lecture on waseelah, we could play it after Arabic class.
-- how do you practice waseelah? : there is a big fitnah in the ummah now about this.

HALAL TYPES OF WASEELAH

1. to draw near to Allah, by calling upon Allah with His 99 Names and Attributes.
2. to draw near to Allah with righteous deeds, i.e looking after your parents.
3. to mention a pious deed you did in the past
-- and use it as a waseelah to get you out of trouble.

3 men were traveling, a storm came and they went to shelter in the cave. A rock blocked the mouth of the cave. ; they wanted to do waseelah; one of the men said, Oh Allah I looked after my parents even tho it was difficult. The rock moved a little, the second said Oh Allah, I had a business and I paid the people fairly; the rock moved a little bit more but not enough for them to get out. The third man said Oh Allah... I had a beautiful cousin, she was poor and I was rich she asked for food I said I would have sex with her, she told me to fear Allah , so I didn’t take her virginity, if I did that for your sake move the rock : THE rock moved and they all got out .

4. Oh Allah if you relieve me from this hardship, I will fast for 10 days.
-- to promise Allah to do pious deed to remove your worldly grief.

5. To approach a pious person and ask them to make dua for you
-- eg A friend is going to Makkah and you ask them to make dua for you.

-- Like the hadith of the blind man.
