Bismillah

1. THE HOLY QUR'AN
--the greatest Miracle is that of the Holy Qur'an
--that is because it was revealed to an unlettered Prophet
--he neither read or wrote
--see Surah 62:2 is Hujjah

He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'ân, Islâmic laws and Islâmic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah)... (Al-Jumua 62:2)

‘Your Prophet was unlettered, unable to read or write or calculate.’ Allaah says: ‘Neither did you (O Muhammad) read any book before it (this Qur’an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand..’ [al-‘Ankaboot 29:48]."

--in the treaty of Hudabiyyah, Rasulallah saws said he would sign the treaty,
--therefore some refuse to believe he was unlettered but
--ALLAH SWT says in Qur’an that Rasulallah saws was unlettered

THE QUR’AN
--al-Qur’an contains no possible grammatical errors or spelling errors
--it coincides with science
--we challenge the scientists of the world to find ONE mistake in the Qur'an
--Maurice Bucaille, a French scientist:
--took Shahadah when he realized no mistakes were in our Qur’an

Maurice Bucaille: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maurice_Bucaille

And We have indeed made the Qur'ân easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Al-Qamar 54:17)

THE QUR’AN

--has a rhythmic form, making it easy for us to remember it and memorize it
--no one memorized the Scrolls of Ibrahim, as nor Torah nor the Injeel of Jesus
--The Qur’an has been memorized by millions

ARIEL SHARON http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariel_Sharon#Sabra_and_Shatila_massacre
--in Sabra and Shatila to massacre thousands of Muslims
--this incident took place in 1982
--22,000 Muslims were massacred by the Zionists

The worst amongst the Kuffaar are the Arab Christians
--they speak Arabic yet they deny al-Islam; no doubt they sided with the Jews

SHAIKH WAS IN GUYANA
--When Sabra and Shatila took place, Shaikh was studying Arabic in Guyana
--the UK and Argentina went to war over the Falkland Islands in that same year

And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'ân) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a Sûrah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allâh, if you are truthful. (Al-Baqarah 2:23)

But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. (Al-Baqarah 2:24)

--In Baqarah 23-24, ALLAH SWT challenges the Kuffaar
--to produce ONE single Surah with similar style
--but ALLAH SWT says that no one will ever produce such a Book

2. THE SPLITTING OF THE MOON
--The splitting of the moon is mentioned in the Qur’an
-- A she-camel produced so much milk that it was enough for an entire tribe

But the Messenger of Allâh [Sâlih (Saleh)] said to them: "Be cautious! Fear the evil end. That is the she-camel of Allâh! (Do not harm it) and bar it not from having its drink!" (Ash-Shams 91:13)

--this miracle was given to Prophet Saleh (as)
--the Kuffaar at the time of Saleh (as) wanted to kill the she-camel
--for they thought she was drinking too much water
--Prophet Saleh (as) advised them not to kill the she-camel,
--nonetheless they killed her

Narrated Abdullah: The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, Witness, witness (this miracle)." [Bukhari Vol 6, Book 60, No 388]

The Kuffaar of Quraysh
--asked Rasulallah saws to split the moon, so he did
--but they still didn’t believe in him being a prophet;
--this miracle was mentioned in the Qur’an
--the Kuffaar said Rasulallah saws did shirr to their eyes (optical illusion)

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar 54:1)

THE PHARAOH OF EGYPT

--gave 1000s reasons why he was remaining a kaafir
--the Kuffaar will find a million reasons to remain in their Kufr

3. THE MULTIPLICATION OF FOOD

Narrated Jabir: My father had died in debt. So I came to the Prophet and said, "My father (died) leaving unpaid debts, and I have nothing except the yield of his date palms; and their yield for many years will not cover his debts. So please come with me, so that the creditors may not misbehave with me." The Prophet went round one of the heaps of dates and invoked (Allah), and then did the same with another heap and sat on it and said, "Measure (for them)." He paid them their rights and what remained was as much as had been paid to them. Bukhari Vo 4, Book 56, No 780

THE BATTLE OF THE DITCH

--Rasulallah (saws) invited his uncles, and the amount of meat was very small,
--but Rasulallah (saws) was blessed with barakah in his food and it was enough for all
--1 sheep fed 2000 Sahabahs
--Battle of Ditch (al-Khandaq):
--Rasulallah (saws) was invited by Jabir ibn Abdullah (ra)
--the Sahaabi had very little food
--Rasulallah (saws) invited others along with him
--and they had enough for many, many Sahabah

4. THE MULTIPLICATION OF WATER

Narrated 'Abdullah: We used to consider miracles as Allah's Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allah's Apostle on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, "Bring the water remaining with you." The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, "Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allah's Apostle , and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). Bukhari Vol 4, Book 56, No 779

--Rasulallah (saws) threw water in a well where
--there was very little water (almost dried up), 1400 Sahabah
--along with their camels drank from it
--on a journey, a Sahabah saw water
--gushing from the blessed fingers of Rasulallah (saws)

We were one-thousand-and-four-hundred persons on the day of Al-Hudabiyyah (Treaty), and (at) Al-Hudabiyyah (there) was a well. We drew out its water not leaving even a single drop. The Prophet sat at the edge of the well and asked for some water with which he rinsed his mouth and then he threw it out into the well. We stayed for a short while and then drew water from the well and quenched our thirst, and even our riding animals drank water to their satisfaction. Bukhari Vol 1, Book 7, No 340

5. SUPPLICATION FOR RAIN

--Rasulallah (saws) would supplicate for rain during drought
--and rain would pour in large amount
--at times it rained so much, the people thought they would drown!

Narrated Anas: A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with the rain." The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday. Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, "We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice, "O Allah! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. Allah showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation. Bukhari Vol 8, Book 73, No 115

6. THE LIGHT FOR THE COMPANIONS

--the two lamps guided the Sahabah to their respective homes

Two of the companions of the Prophet departed from him on a dark night and were led by two lights like lamps (going in front of them from Allah as a miracle) lighting the way in front of them, and when they parted, each of them was accompanied by one of these lights till he reached their (respective) houses. Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, No 454

7. CRYING OF THE STEM FROM THE DATE-PALM TREE
--he delivered his khutbah while he would stand at the trunk of a date-tree
--when he stopped, the tree cried, (at his departure)
--he took his hand, rubbed the trunk of the tree and the crying stopped

The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a date palm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying). Bukhari Vol 4, Book 56, No 783

8. GLORIFICATION OF ALLAH BY THE PROPHET'S MEALS

--glorification by the food (meals) of Rasulallah (saws)
--the Sahabah are witnesses to this miracle

There is no doubt; we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). [Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 783]

9. EXPULSION OF A LIAR'S CORPSE BY THE EARTH

--A Christian was a scribe for Rasulallah (saws), he became a Muslim
--later apostated and said Rasulallah (saws) learned everything from him
--he was swallowed by an earth quake

There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: "Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him." Then Allah caused him to die, and the people buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is the act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and took his body out of it because he had run away from them." They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is an act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, for he had run away from them." They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him was not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground). Vol 4, Book 56, No 814: Bukhari
--even the earth spat him out after the burial
--the Christians accused Rasulallah (saws) and the Sahabah to have done that
--the earth rejected him (spat him out) on 3 occasions

10. THE WOLF AND THE SHEEP: THE WOLF SPOKE

Narrated Unais bin 'Amr: Ahban bin Aus said, "I was amongst my sheep. Suddenly a wolf caught a sheep and I shouted at it. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying, 'Who will look after it (i.e. the sheep) when you will be busy and not able to look after it? Do you forbid me the provision which Allah has provided me?' "Ahban added, "I clapped my hands and said, 'By Allah, I have never seen anything more curious and wonderful than this!' On that the wolf said, 'There is something (more curious) and wonderful than this; that is, Allah's Apostle in those palm trees, inviting people to Allah (i.e. Islam).' "Unais bin 'Amr further said, "Then Ahban went to Allah's Apostle and informed him what happened and embraced Islam.)" palm trees or other trees and share the fruits with me." Bukhari :: Vol 3, Book 39, No 517

11. AL ISRAA WAL MIRAJ

--The Prophet's Night Journey to Jerusalem (Arabic: Israa)
--and Ascent to the Heavens (Arabic: Miraj)
--Al-Israa wal Mi'raj : Rasulallah (saws) visited ALLAH SWT
--to receive the commandment of salah, he (saws) went from Makkah
--(Masjid al-Haram) to Jerusalem (Masjid al-Aqsa) in one night,
--he undertook this journey in wakefulness in body and soul
--when they heard this, the Quraysh were blown way

Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allâh) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him] [Tafsir Qurtubî, Vol. 10, Page 204] Who took His slave (Muhammad SAW) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighborhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad SAW) of Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. (Al-Isra 17:1)

MU’TAZALITES

-- because they are rationalists, they argue this could not have happened

Abu Bakr (ra)
--he was approached by Quraysh and asked him if he believed Rasulallah' (saws)
--Abu Bakr (ra) simply replied by saying
--that if Rasulallah (saws) said so then he believes him
--Rasulallah (saws) saw many forms of punishments
--for the sins that were committed in dunya

And We made not the vision which we showed you (O Muhammad as an actual eye-witness and not as a dream on the night of Al-Isrâ') but a trial for mankind, and likewise the accursed tree (Zaqqûm, mentioned) in the Qur'ân. We warn and make them afraid but it only increases them in naught save great disbelief, oppression and disobedience to Allâh. (Al-Isra 17:60)

Ibn Abbas added: The sights which Allah's Apostle was shown on the Night Journey when he was taken to Bait-ul Maqdis (i.e. Jerusalem) were actual sights, (not dreams). And the Cursed Tree (mentioned) in the Qur’an is the tree of Zaqqum (itself)

--Al-Israa wal Mi'raj was a fitnah for men (it was a test for their Imaan)
--Rasulallah (saws) saw in the palace of Umar (ra), a beautiful woman
--she was to be the wife of Zayd ibn Haarithah

"Riba (interest) has seventy parts and the least of it is like a man (or woman) having sex with his (or her) own (biological) mother." [Ibn Majah: Al-Hakim and others]

SHAIKH IN KENYA and TANZANIA

--their Maghrib is like Salatul Jum'mah
--if they see only 10 people coming, they wonder about their Islam

12. SPLITTING OF THE BOSOM
--the splitting of his (Rasulallah) bosom is so significant in its importance that
--ALLAH SWT mentioned it in Qur’an

2 things were replaced by his heart:
1. Eeman
2. Hikmah

Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, (1) And eased thee of the burden (2) Which weighed down thy back; (3) And exalted thy fame? (4) (Surah 94:1-3)

--Imaan and Hikmah was put in his bosom, his heart was taken out
--and was washed with the blessed water of Zamzam
--this incident occurred while he (saws) was in the care of Haalimah as-Saa'diyyah
--Rasulallah (saws) always treated his foster mother, Haalimah (ra)
--like his own mother - foster mothers are haraam for men to marry
--for anything which is haraam by the blood is also haraam by the milk

Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, (1) And eased thee of the burden (2) Which weighed down thy back; (3) And exalted thy fame? (4) (Surah 94)

--the name of Rasulallah (saws) is the most popular name
--it is recited in the Tashah-hud, the Athaan, the Iqamat

In Tashah-hud
--you don’t recite "assalamu alayka;" rather you say, "asslamu alan nabi"
--now we say: assalam alan Nabi
--also, we do not wag our index finger:
--Imam Nawawi said that hadith is "bizarre, weird"
--Albani said to wag index finger in salah, but this view
--has been refuted by our classical scholars

Imam Nawawi mentions in the Majmu‘ (3.454) from Abu Dawud and others with a sound chain of narrators on the authority Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubayr, that he described the prayer of the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) by saying, “He would point with his finger while supplicating without moving it.” As for what is present in the narration that mentions, that he (Allah bless him and grant him peace) “used to move it”, the expression, “move it is an unreliable anomalous (Ar. shadhdh) narration because the narrator who relates [this Hadith] on the authority of the Companion Wael Ibn Hujr (Allah be pleased with him) contradicts everyone else who narrated from him

--the Talafis wag their finger in Salah
--also after Ruku, do not put your hands back on chest, but leave them hanging by your side

The way that al-Albani preferred ["as-salamu 'alan-nabi" instead of "as-salamu 'alayka ayyuhan-nabi"] is authentically established from a group of the Sahabah such as Ibn Mas'ud and Ibn 'Umar and others. Another group of the Sahabah continued with "ayyuhan-nabi"

Narrated Ibn Mas'ud: Allah's Apostle taught me the Tashah-hud as he taught me a Sura from the Qur’an, while my hand was between his hands. (Tashah-hud was) all the best compliments and the prayers and the good things are for Allah. Peace and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on you, O Prophet! Peace be on us and on the pious slaves of Allah, I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I also testify that Muhammad is Allah's slave and His Apostle.: (We used to recite this in the prayer) during the lifetime of the Prophet, but when he died, we used to say, "Peace be on the Prophet." Bukhari Book 74, No 281

13. THE CAMEL OF JABIR IBN ABDULLAH

--camel of Jabir ibn Abdullah (ra) was very old
--and could hardly make it to the battlefield
--Jabir (ra) was at the very back, Rasulallah (saws) was inspecting the ranks
--Jabir complained about the state of his camel and said
--“he might not make it to the frontlines;” [Rasulallah (saws) smiled]
--and hit the camel; it was full of energy
--that very camel lived through the Khilafah of Abu Bakr (ra) [little over 2 yrs]
--that of Umar (ra) [more than 10 yrs] and that of Uthman (ra)

Narrated Jabir: While I was riding a (slow) and tired camel, the Prophet passed by and beat it and prayed for Allah's Blessings for it. The camel became so fast as it had never been before. The Prophet then said, "Sell it to me for one Uqiyya (of gold)." I said, "No." He again said, "Sell it to me for one Uqiyya (of gold)." I sold it and stipulated that I should ride it to my house. When we reached (Medina) I took that camel to the Prophet and he gave me its price. I returned home but he sent for me (and when I went to him) he said, "I will not take your camel. Take your camel as a gift for you." (Various narrations are mentioned here with slight variations in expressions relating the condition that Jabir had the right to ride the sold camel up to Medina). Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 50, No 879

--Rasulallah (saws) wanted to buy the camel from Jabir (ra) but Jabir (ra) said
--he will only sell it once they reached Madinah, once there,
--Rasulallah (saws) said he would pay the amount of money
--but that Jabir could keep the camel and the money
--such was the mercy of Rasulallah (saws)
--the camel overtook all other camels

14. THE VOMITING OF 2 WOMEN IN RAMADHAN
--2 women were backbiting and slandering people during Ramadan
--they were about to die because of thirst
--so Rasulallah (saws) was asked to give them
--permission to break their fasts; they were given permission to vomit and
--when they did, they vomited pus, flesh and blood

The hadith about the two women who’s fasting was broken due to gheebah (slander). Because backbiting in Islam is compared to eating at the flesh of people, it is mentioned that these two women forfeited their fasting as a result of their actions Al-Silsilah al-Da ‘ifah (The Series of weak hadith) for Sheikh Albaani

15. CURING THE EYE INFECTION / SICKNESS OF ALI IBN TALIB

--Rasulallah (saws) gave the flag (banner) to someone who loved ALLAH SWT
--and HIS Rasul (saws), He (saws) chose Ali (ra) while he had eye problems
--Rasulallah (saws) wiped the eyes of Ali (ra) with his blessed saliva and he was cured
--Ali (ra) was affected by the sickness before the battle started
--the saliva of Rasulallah saws was the antibiotic for the sickness of Ali (ra)
--and then he lead the Muslims to victory

Narrated Sahl bin Sad: That he heard the Prophet on the day (of the battle) of Khaibar saying, "I will give the flag to a person at whose hands Allah will grant victory." So, the companions of the Prophet got up, wishing eagerly to see to whom the flag will be given, and everyone of them wished to be given the flag. But the Prophet asked for 'Ali. Someone informed him that he was suffering from eye-trouble. So, he ordered them to bring 'Ali in front of him. Then the Prophet spat in his eyes and his eyes were cured immediately as if he had never any eye-trouble. 'Ali said, "We will fight with them (i.e. infidels) till they become like us (i.e. Muslims)." The Prophet said, "Be patient, till you face them and invite them to Islam and inform them of what Allah has enjoined upon them. By Allah! If a single person embraces Islam at your hands (i.e. through you), that will be better for you than the red camels." Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 192

16. THE CURING OF THE SNAKE BITE OF ABU BAKR

--a snake bit Abu Bakr (ra) while they were making Hijrah
--this happened in the cave
--Rasulallah (saws) cured Abu Bakr with his blessed saliva

One example is when our Prophet (S.A.S) and Abu Bakr (R.A) took shelter inside a cave from the Quraish of Mecca who were pursuing them during their journey from Makka to Medina. A snake was waiting inside the same cave as it could not find a way since as Abu Bakr (R.A) had shielded all the holes with his clothes. However, one hole remained open where he put his foot because he had no more clothes left. The snake tried all the holes but was unable to come out. Then it tried the hole which was shielded by the foot of Abu Bakr (R.A). The snake bit at his foot poisoning him. Tears flowed from the eyes of Abu Bakr (R.A) due to the pain but he said nothing. Muhammad (S.A.S) awoke, and asked what had happened, Abu Bakr (R) told the story. On hearing this, Muhammad (S.A.S) put his saliva on the wound and he was cured. Muhammad (S.A.S) said that the snake had been waiting and praying for Allah (SWT) to see Muhammad (S.A.S). [no tareej]

17. THE HADITH OF UTHMAN IBN HANIF / TAWASSUL
--Tawassul is when we use the duaa for a righteous person to gain Allah's barakah
--Tawassul is literally “to draw near to ALLAH SWT
--with a good deed / righteous deed”
--If you bear your blindness with sabr, Jannah will be yours InshaALLAH

A blind man came to Rasulallah saws asking him to make dua for him to gain his eyesight back, Rasul saws gave him 2 options : 1) Sabr with his blindness and get Jannah 2) regain his eyesight, the man chose to regain his eyesight and so he could see thereafter "By Allah, I didn't speak to him, but I have seen a blind man come to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and complain to him of the loss of his eyesight. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "Can you not bear it?' and the man replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not have anyone to lead me around, and it is a great hardship for me.' The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) told him, 'Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then pray two rak'ats of prayer and make the supplications.'" Ibn Hunayf went on, "By Allah, we didn't part company or speak long before the man returned to us as if nothing had ever been wrong with him." Tabarani, in his "al-Mu'jam al Sayhir"

By Allah! If a single person embraces Islam at your hands (i.e. through you), that will be better for you than the red camels.” Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 192

Abd al-Aziz b. Sulaiman b. al-Ghasil, from Asim b. Umar b. Qatada, from his father, from his grandfather Qatada b. al-Numan, that his eye was wounded at Badr and that its pupil came down on his cheekbone. They were about to slice it off, but asked the Messenger of God (SAAS) who said they should not do this. He then said a prayer for him, covering his cheek with his palm. And later you could not tell which of his eyes had been struck!" Ibn Kathirs The Life of the Prophet Muhammad, Al-sira Al-Nabawiyya, Vol 2, reported by Al-Bayhaqi

18. WHEN HE RETURNED THE EYE OF ABU QATADA

….quoting Abd al-Aziz b. Sulaiman b. al-Ghasil, from Asim b. And later you could not tell which of his eyes had been struck!" Ibn Kathirs The Life of the Prophet Muhammad, Al-sira Al-Nabawiyya, Vol 2, reported by Al-Bayhaqi stated, in the Dalail (The Signs), "Abu Sad al-Malini informed us quoting Abu Ahmed b. Adi, quoting Abu Yala, quoting Yahya al-Himmant

‘Ata' bin Abu Rabah reported: Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) asked him whether he would like that he should show him a woman who is from the people Jannah. When he replied that he certainly would, he said, "This black woman, who came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said, Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said: `When I afflict my slave in his two dear things (i.e., his eyes), and he endures patiently, I shall compensate him for them with Jannah.". [Al-Bukhari].

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said: `When I afflict my slave in his two dear things (i.e., his eyes), and he endures patiently, I shall compensate him for them with Jannah." [Al-Bukhari]

19. THE STONES

--the stones used to give salaams to Rasulallah (saws) when he walked through the streets of Makkah

The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said, “I know a stone in Makkah that used to salute (give salaams) me before I received the revelation, I still know it now.” (Muslim)

20. THE DUAA FOR IBN ABASS

--the dua for Ibn Abbas, Rasulallah (saws) hugged his cousin and he
--asked ALLAH SWT to teach ibn Abbas the Fiqh and Tafseer of the Qur’an
--this duaa was answered and he became a COMMENTATOR of al Qur'an
--the dua was answered and ibn Abbas
--became the greatest Tarjumaan al Qur’an of this Ummah
--Tarjumaana'l Qur'an (One who explains the Qur'an).

Narrated Ibn Abbas Rady Allahu Anhu: Once the Holy Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam embraced me and said, "O Allah! Bestow on him the knowledge of the Book (Qur'an)" (Bukhari)

21. THE INCIDENT OF SURAQAH IBN MALIK

--Suraqah ibn Malik: his horse sank in the sand on 3 occasions
--even though he was a skillful horse rider,
--he later took Shahadah and was promised the jewels of Persia

Suraqah ibn Malik ibn Ju’sham was eager to get the reward offered for the Messenger(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) of Allah. He was tracking his footsteps when his horse stumbled and he was thrown off. He refused to give up so he mounted again and rode on. His horse stumbled a second time and he fell again. Determined to capture his quarry, he rode on once more. Just as he caught sight of the Messenger(sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) of Allah, his horse stumbled a third time. Its feet sank into the sand and Suraqah fell. Then he watched as dust rose from the ground like a sandstorm in front of him.

22. THE ISLAM OF UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB

--Rasulallah (saws) made dua to ALLAH SWT to give Izzah to Islam
--either through the Islam of Umar (ra) of Abu Jahl, Umar (ra) was chosen by ALLAH SWT

AMMAR IBN YAASIR
--The murder of Ammar ibn Yaasir by the rebellious group
--Rasulallah (saws) said Ammar (ra) would be killed by the rebellious group,
--Ammar was killed by the army of Mu’awiyah at the Battle of Sifeen

The Holy Prophet had told Hadhrath Ali (as): "O Ali! Soon a rebellious group will fight against you, you will be on the truth whoever does not support you on that day will not be from us" Kanz al Ummal, by Ali Muttaqi al Hind quoting Ibn Asakir, Hadith No 32970

23. PREDICTION OF ALI SCRATCHING OUT HIS TITLE

--the Kuffaar, at the Treaty of Hudabiyyah
--said to scratch out the title of Muhammad (saws) as ``Rasulallah`
--Ali (ra) refused to do so and at that moment, Rasulallah (saws) said to Ali (ra)
--that a day will come when he will also be asked
--to scratch out of his title (as caliph)

It is attributed to the Prophet (saw) that he said about Ammar ibn Yasir: 'The killer of Ammar and the one who will take his materials (sword, shield...) will be in hell' It is also narrated that Ammar was martyred at the battle of Siffin and his killer was Abu Ghadiyah (“Musnad Ahmad” and “Isabah” v 4 p 14, and others)

Also in the decisive and widely known tradition which al-Bukhari, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, and all the narrators of Islamic traditions and historians transmitted through twenty-five Companions that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said about Hazrat Ammar ibn Yasir (Radiyallahu Anhu): "Alas! A rebellious group which swerves from the truth will murder Ammar. Ammar will be calling them towards Paradise and they will be calling him towards Hell. His killer and those who strip him of arms and clothing will be in Hell."

24. THE PREDICTION ABOUT ZAYNAB BINT JAYSH’S DEATH
--that the wife with the long hand will die first (the one who gave the most charity)
--that wife was: Zaynab bint Jaysh
--the Sahabah were full of Taqwa and the wives of the Rasul (saws) were not spiteful
--the hadith of Zaynab bint Jaysh is also
--Hujjah that ALLAH SWT is above the 7 Heavens
--anyone believing otherwise, must check his Aqeeda

Allah's Apostle also asked Zaynab bint Jaysh about my case. He said, "O Zaynab! What have you seen?" She replied, "O Allah's Apostle! I protect my hearing and my sight (by refraining from telling lies). I know nothing but good (about Aisha)." Of all the wives of Allah's Apostle, it was Zaynab who aspired to receive from him the same favor as I used to receive, yet, Allah saved her (from telling lies) because of her piety. But her sister, Hamna, kept on fighting on her behalf so she was destroyed as were those who invented and spread the slander. Sahih Bukhari Vol 6, Book 60, No 274

A'isha, the Mother of the Faithful, reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: One who has the longest hands amongst you would meet me most immediately. She farther said: They (the wives of Allah's Apostle) used to measure the hands as to whose hand was the longest and it was the hand of Zaynab that was the longest amongst them, as she used to work with her hand and Spend (that income) on charity. --Rasulallah (saws) prayed for Anas ibn Malik to have a long life

--he became the richest man in Madinah
--Anas ibn Malik also served Rasulallah (saws) for over 10 years
--and he said Rasulallah (saws) never complained about his service to him (saws)

I served the Prophet for ten years, and he never said to me,"Uf" (a minor harsh word denoting impatience) and never blamed me by saying, "Why did you do so or why didn't you do so?" Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 73 :: Hadith 64

Anas b. Malik said: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) passed (by our house) that my mother Umm Sulaim listened to his voice and said: Allah's Messenger, let my father and mother be sacrificed for thee, here is Unais (and requested him to invoke blessings upon me). So Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) invoked three blessings upon me. I have seen (the results) of the two in this very world (in regard to wealth and progeny) and I hope to see (the result) of the third one in the Hereafter. Muslim : Book 031, Number 6063

Anas reported: My mother Umm Anas came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). And she prepared my lower garment out of the half of her headdress and (with the other half) she covered my upper body and said: Allah's Messenger, here is my son Unais; I have brought him to you for serving you. Invoke blessings of Allah upon him. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, make an increase in his wealth, and progeny. Anas said: By Allah, my fortune is huge and my children, and grand-children are now more than one hundred. Muslim :: Book 031, Number 6064

26. ABU HURAIRA'S MOTHER TO EMBRACE ISLAM

--Abu Hurairah (ra) had a mother who hated Islam with a passion
--once she insulted Rasulallah (saws)
--and Abu Hurairah went running to him and complained to Rasulallah (saws)
--about what his mother did, Rasulallah (saws) made dua for the mother
--and she took Shahadah

Abu Huraira reported: I invited my mother, who was a polytheist, to Islam. I invited her one day and she said to me something about Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) which I hated. I came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) weeping and said: Allah's Messenger, I invited my mother to Islam but she did not accept (my invitation). I invited her today but she said to me something which I did not like. (Kindly) supplicate Allah that He may set the mother of Abu Huraira right. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: O Allah, set the mother of Abu Huraira on the right path. I came out quite pleased with the supplication of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and when I came near the door it was closed from within. My mother heard the noise of my footsteps and she said: Abu Huraira, just wait, and I heard the noise of falling of water. She took a bath and put on the shirt and quickly covered her head with a headdress and opened the door and then said: Abu Huraira, I bear witness to the fact that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His bondsman and His Messenger. He (Abu Huraira) said: I went back to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and (this time) I was shedding the tears of joy. I said: Allah's Messenger, be happy, for Allah has responded to your supplication and He has set on the right path the mother of Abu Huraira. Sahih Muslim Book #31, Hadith #6082

27. THE CONQUERING OF CONSTANTINOPLE

--Muslims would also conquer Constantinople before Rome
--Constantinople is now Istanbul
--it was conquered by Muhammad al-Fatteh (RH)

While the Muslims are busy distributing the spoils (booty) of war, after hanging their swords by the olive trees, Satan will shout: 'The Anti-Christ has taken your place among your family (or in your land).' The Muslims will then come out, but will find out that it is not true. And when they arrive to Al-Sham (Damascus or Syria), he (Anti-Christ) will come out. While they (Muslims) are preparing to fight him, and drawing up their ranks, prayer time will come and then, Jesus the son of Mary will descend and lead (or join) them in prayer. When Allah's enemy (Anti-Christ) sees him (Jesus), it will dissolve just as the salt dissolves in water. If Jesus were to leave him (Anti-Christ) alone, he (Anti-Christ) would melt to death anyway, but Allah will have him (Anti-Christ) killed by his (Jesus') hand, and he (Jesus) will show the Muslims his (Anti-Christ's) blood on his (Jesus') spear." (Sahih Muslim

Then the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: This is the place where so and so would be killed. He placed his hand on the earth (saying) here and here; (and) none of them fell away from the place which the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) had indicated by placing his hand on the earth. (BADR) Sahih Muslim :: Chapter# 29, Book 19, Number 4394

Those present said: "And in our Najd, O Messenger of Allah!" But he said, "O Allah, bless us in our Syria; O Allah, bless us in our Yemen". Those present said, "And in our Najd, O Messenger of Allah!" Ibn Umar said that he thought that he said on the third occasion: "Earthquakes and Fitnah are there, and there shall arise the horn of ash-Shaytaan". [Sahih al-Bukhari]

30. THE PREDICTION THAT HASAN WOULD BRING PEACE
--[to 2 warring factions of the ummah]
--Hasan ibn Ali (ra) will bring peace to 2 groups of Muslims about to fight
--he will bring them unity, 6 months after Hasan (ra) became Khilafah
--he stepped down and Mu’awiyah became the Khilafah and conquered North Africa

This was in accordance with the prophecy of the Holy Prophet (SAW) about Hassan (RA) when he had said, "Through my son Hassan, Allah will bring about peace between tow warring factions of Muslims." Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 88, No. 225

--At the Battle of Badr
--Rasulallah saws pointed the spots of leaders of Quraysh would die
--so these kuffaar died at these very spots in the battle of Badr
