We will take several days to teach Surah Naml
-Surah Naml has 93 ayahs
-we don't rush through tafseer
-this is a Makkan Surah

Ta Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. These are the Verses of the Qur'an, and (it is) a Book (that makes things) clear; (An-Naml 27:1)

Allah used certain words: Hakeem (wise)
-Allah is not the author or confusion
-He also used "furqan" (being able to discern truth from falsehood)
-He said "shifaa (the cure)

-when Allah said the Qur'an is mubeen
-(so it is clear on what it's speaking about)
-if a verse re: Shariah is not clear,
-then we have hadith to make it clear for us
-so why do we have different opinions re: fiqh matter?
-because they have the Quran AND Sunnah to help them make decisions
-such as when Imam Malik wrote his book, al-Muwatta
-the caliph wanted to use it as the textbook for the entire caliphate

Abu Haneefah used his aql
-he had nothing to refer to
-Ahmad ibn Hanbal though was able to memorize 1,000,000 hadeeth
-aql = intellect
-another reason why scholars differ is
-because when it reaches the scholar sometimes it is abrogated

-another reason why scholars differ

-the hadith reached the scholar but the hadith is weak
-Imam Malik said to put your hand on the chest

Wa'il b. Hajr said "I prayed with Prophet Muhammad(saw) and he put his right hand over his left hand over his chest."(Ibn Khuzaimah, Abu Dawud, Muslim)

-the scholars differ in their interpretation of one word
-the word “yes”

The man has permission to see her face before agreeing to marry as the Messenger of Allah (SAWS) said, "Go and look at her (the woman you are considering marrying) because this will help your time together to be strengthened.” (Ahmad)

"Perform ablution after eating camel meat, and do not perform ablution after eating goat." [At Tirmidhi No.21 and Abu Dawud No.184]

Camel meat breaks your wudu, Hanbali fiqh
-you should make wudu after you eat camel meat
-Malik, Shafiis, Hanafis doesn’t make wudu after they eat camel meat
-Allah (swt) said in the Quran don’t even say "uff" to your parents
-this means your not allowed to beat your parents

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (Al-Isra 17:23)

This Dawud ad-Dhaahiree madhab
-you can beat your parents but don’t say “uff”
-The Rasul (saw) said before you marry look at her
-Abu Hanifa said the Rasul (saw) meant the face and palm of her hands
-Dawud Tawraah said you’re allowed to peep on her while she’s taking a shower
-Imam Ahmad said you can see her hair and her legs in addition
-We have many madhabs but they died out
-Allah said whenever your wife finishes menstruating
-go to bed with her after she has made her ghusl

And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). (Al-Baqarah 2:222)

The Madhab of Dawud ad-Dhaarihee

-said you have to go to bed with her immediately you’re not allowed to wait
-an hour because that is to long...Madhab of Dawud ad- Dhaahiree
-and if you delay it your are doing haraam

Whenever a woman is menstruating,
-she is allowed to touch the Quran
-All Hadiths that say women is not allowed to touch the Quran are weak and fabricated

Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). (Al-Waqi'ah 56:79)

She is banned from performing salah,
-so when she is menstruating she is allowed to recite the Quran
-It is haraam to refute an ayah
-This ayah is talking about the angels
-those who say women are not allowed to touch
-the Quran are weak in Fiqh
-when a person is old they are set in their ways,
-they do not change their madhab
-the greatest enemy, Abu Jahl.. his son embraced Islam
-Old people are not flexible
-When a person is young they are open to new principles
-There is hope for the young

A guide (to the Right Path); and glad tidings for the believers [who believe in the Oneness of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism)]. (An-Naml 27:2)

-Allah said this Quran is guidance for the Mu’mineen
-Islam is the Only religion acceptable to Allah

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Aali Imran 3:85)

Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them. (An-Nisa 4:145)

-The holy Quran is not a bringer of glad tidings to disbelievers
-(Jews and Christians)

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. (Al-Baiyinah 98:6)

-the guards there felt his khutbah were being provocative
-they were surprised his Quran had hadeeth in it
-as if it wasn't a legitimate Quran

Because the prison came to Shaikh
-and said he was preaching hatred
-they said he preached that the Jews and Christians are the worst of created things
-for them to know this, they had to plant a spy or bug the masjid
-because he spoke only Arabic for 6 months there!
-it is relevant because Shaitan doesn't like to be exposed
-this is all regarding 98:6

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. (Al-Baiyinah 98:6)

They shifted Shaikh to a prison
-AA-cat prison which means your a lion
-there are many classes, we won't list here)
-that label how serious your crimes were

D - not a danger to them
C - you're like a mouse
B - like a wolf
A - like a tiger
AA - lion and they're afraid you'll destroy the kaafir system

-AA nobody is allowed to live with you in a cell
-you live by yourself
-B- you can share your cell

AA..you are so influential, you can turn them into an Islamic fundamentalist
-The Quran is only a bringer of glad tidings to the believers

The word radical is a Jewish word
-you cannot say Israel
-many of you believe the Arab conflict is for Palestinians
-you can only say Occupied Palestine and Occupied Kashmir
-it is haraam to say Israel
-the kufaar are trying to be clever by saying Arab Israeli conflict
-you're being brainwashed to think
-it doesn't matter to you

Ibn Abbas (RA) commented: “The reward of the Haram is equivalent to a hundred thousand rewards.”

1 fajr is 100,000 fajr...barakah

Those who perform As¬Salat (Iqamat¬as¬Salat) and give Zakah and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter (resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.) an Naml (27:3)

-Allah said the Quran is a guidance and bringer of glad tidings
-for the sincere believers
-the first thing Allah will look at is the Salat

The Messenger (S.A.W.) told us in an authentic hadith , “The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows) : “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were complete It will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah will say:

-The difference between the Muslim and kaafir is the salah

The difference between a man (Muslim) and shirk and kufr is the abandoning of salah. (Sahih Muslim: Kitab ul Iman: Book 001, Number 0147)

Narrated 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq al-'Aqeely, "The companions of Muhammad (SAW), did not consider the abandonment of any act, with the exception of prayer, as being disbelief (kufr)." (Tirmizhi and al-Hakim, who said it met al-Bukhari’s and Muslim's conditions)

-Shaikh said there isn’t such thing as a non- practicing Muslim

But if they repent, perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakah, then they are your brethren in religion. (In this way) We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail for a people who know. (At-Tawbah 9:11)

There is no such a thing called non practicing Muslim
-If you are not practicing you’re a kaafir
-you take your prayer mat to work
-and join your prayers together Zuhr and Asr
-because your a busy person
-Islam is flexible
-Hanafis do not believe in joining the prayers
-the Muslim heart surgeon will have to delay the salah
-You are allowed to join your prayers
-when you are busy or a traveler

Combining the two prayers due to some illness or other excuse: Ahmad, Qadi Hussain, al-Khattabi, and al-Mutawali of the Shaf'i school are of the opinion that it is allowed to combine two prayers, either during the time of the earlier or later salah, due to illness as it is a greater hardship than rain. An-Nawawi says: "This is a strong opinion based on [sound] evidence." In al-Mughni it is stated: "The illness which permits one to combine the prayers is the one which would otherwise cause hardship and more weakness [if he prayed each salah separately]."

The Hanbali school is the most accommodating as it allows one to combine the prayers, at the time of the early or later salah, for one who is ill as well as for the woman who is breast-feeding and will face hardship in cleaning her dress for every salah, for the woman who is plagued by a prolonged flow of blood, for the person who cannot control his urine, and for one who cannot purify himself or herself, and for the one who fears for his life, property, or family.
Ibn Taimiyyah says: "Among the opinions the most accommodating on this question is that of the Hanbali school which allows one to combine the prayers if he is busy (since an-Nasa'i has related something to that effect from the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam) and they also say that the cook and baker, and so forth., may also combine their prayers if they fear their wealth (i.e., their investment or what they are working on) will otherwise be ruined." [Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Vol 2, Book 37, 2.118]

-so Umar said, tell me the names so I can kill them
-The hypocrites used to hide behind salah
-You couldn’t tell if they were munafiqeen
-Muhammad (saws) said if I tell you
-who they are you'll be killing my Companions
-He hides behind Muslim clothing a beard, and salam

'Umar bin Al-Khattab said, "O Allah's Apostle! Let me chop off the head of this hypocrite!" The Prophet said, "Leave him, lest the people say Muhammad kills his companions." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #430]

-the munafiqeen hide behind certain rituals
-Saudi Salafi and Goofi Soofis
-a person who is naive is called un-suspecting Muslims
-they believe in the Covenant of security,
-even if the kaafir rapes my mother in front of me
-the covenant of security is not broken
-Sit with them and ask about their aqeedah
-The Saudi Salafi is a new religion
-10yrs ago from the UK Shaikh told us
-this hadith is weak (kufr duna kufr)

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghoot (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell¬fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Al-Ma'idah 5:60)

Allah (swt) said when the Jews dismantle the Shariah

-I turn them into apes and swine
-The one who translated Quran (Muhsin Khan) wrote SWINES
-there is no S at the end of swine – swine noun
=with identical and singular forms)
-Allah said the holy Quran is guidance and
-bringing of glad tidings to those who are the believers
-some people do not pay zakah because they think they will become poor
-zakah means to purify
-you don’t pay zakah because you fear poverty

...And those who hoard up gold and silver [Al-Kanz: the money, the Zakah of which has not been paid], and spend it not in the Way of Allah, -announce unto them a painful torment. (At-Tawbah 9:34)

Their wealth will become black snakes; 2.5 % of your yearly savings

"Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakah of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.' (Bukhari Volume 2, Book 24, Number 486)

Some Muslim countries have prostitutes

-because there is no Shariah, no ameer, and no zakah system
-They turn into prostitution
-You cannot make takfir on them or you become Khuwarij
-You make takfir on those who dismantle the Shariah

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me. He would say: O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He said: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? (The Lord would again say O son of Adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me. [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, and Hadith #6232]

A hijabis girl
approached Shaikh and his precious wife
-she said she can not get a job in Turkey
-unless she commits zina with the boss
-No Muslim girl can get a job
-unless you cohabit with the boss, (Turkey)
-When you corrupt Muslim girls the wrath of Allah
-will be upon you

Narrated By Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 54, Hadith #538]

Allah forgave her
(her) sins
-and gave her Jannah because she gave water to the dog from her shoe
-even though she was a prostitute

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

Allah doesn’t forgive those who does shirk

-but he will forgive any other sin..for they have hope
-In the hereafter you are underneath the will of Allah (swt)

-You are not allowed to make takfir on a person
-because of their sin until their sin is classified as kufr akbar
-we can only make takfir on a sin if it is kufr akbar
-[spying for kuffaar, black magic]
-this is the aqeedah of Ahlus Sunnah wa Jama’a

Verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so they wander about blindly. (An-Naml 27:4)

-so a man who is a kaafir will say "Why do I need to embrace Islam"
-Why do I need Islam when I have everything"?
-The pharaoh was rich
-wealth doesn’t mean Allah loves You
-The barakah of Allah: food, clothing, shelter and wealth
-Allah gives to every [tom dick and Harry]
-This doesn’t mean that Allah loves You
-everyone can have it, but the barakah of ISLAM Allah
-gives to only those whom He loves

English 'Til I Die

-Two white boys from the same womb,
-one became Muslim and one joined the British army
-They were from the same mother
-Do not envy the kuffar for their dunya

Narrated Abu Huraira, the Prophet (saw) said, “The dunya is a prison for the believers and Paradise for the kaafir (disbeliever),” [Sahih Muslim, Vol.4, # 7058]

-The Rasul (saw) said this dunya is a prison
-for the Muslims and a paradise for the kufaar

We let them enjoy for a little while, then in the end We shall oblige them to (enter) a great torment. (Luqman 31:24)

The kufaar have no portion in the hereafter

-so let them enjoy the dunya
-They live their lives on anti-depressant tablets
-These tablets do not work, it only makes you suicidal
-Allah (swt) I beautify for them their deeds ...they are delusional

They are those for whom there will be an evil torment (in this world). And in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers. (An-Naml 27:5)

-They will be the greatest of losers
-the Real loser is the man who has lost his ticket to paradise

And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are receiving the Qur'an from the One, All-Wise, All-Knowing. (An-Naml 27:6)

Do they not then consider the Qur'an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions. (An-Nisa 4:82)

-The Quran doesn’t contradict science, itself, and human nature

(Remember) when Mûsa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves." (An-Naml 27:7)

But when he came to it, he was called: "Blessed is whosoever is in the fire, and whosoever is round about it! And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (An-Naml 27:8)

The angels are around the fire and they are on earth
-when you give a khutbah, they sit and listen
-when you make dhikr, they do it with you
-we can get sacrifices hens and sheep and eggs [for coming to jumm'ah early]

Narrated By Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 13, Hadith #051]

And glorified be Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (An-Naml 27:8)

When an imam prays 4 rakat for Maghrib, and we say Subhan’Allah
-we say Subhan’Allah just to remind him that he is fallible
-insaan (a forgettable person) but the word also means, 'man'
-we correct by clapping so they do not hear the awrah of a woman (her voice)

Saying Subhanallah and clapping: It is allowed for men to say subhanallah and for women to clap if there is some need to do so (such as alerting the imam to a mistake or informing someone that he or she may enter the room or to warn a blind person, and so on). Sahl ibn Sa'd asSa'di relates that the Prophet said: "If someone is faced with something during the salah, he should say 'subhanallah.' Clapping is for the women and saying subhanallah is for the men." (This is related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and an-Nasa'i) [Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Vol 2, Book 30, 2.086]

-perhaps now they are newly weds so she will recite
-Surah Fatiha to lead their salah
-precious, how precious
-Ibn Sireen had this madhab
-Shaikhs only smile at this, not refute it

Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (As-Saffat 37:180)

And peace be on the Messengers! (As-Saffat 37:181)

And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (As-Saffat 37:182)

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) King James Version

--these are blasphemous beliefs

And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. (Genesis 32:28)

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Genesis 2:3) King James Version

THESE are blasphemous beliefs

Might without wisdom is a recipe for disaster

"O Mûsa (Moses)! Verily! It is I, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (An-Naml 27:9)

'Abdur-Rahmaan Ibn Muhammad Ibn Habeeb Ibn Abee Habeeb on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather [who] said: I witnessed Khaalid Ibn 'Abdullah Al-Qasree - and he addressed them at Waasit - "Oh People, make sacrifice, may Allah accept it from you. Verily I am sacrificing Al-Ja'd Ibn Dirham, for indeed he claims that Allah did not take Ibrahim as a khaleel (close friend), and [that] He did not speak to Moosa. Most Perfect is He and exalted is He from what Al-Ja'd says." Then he descended and slaughtered him. I say: And the Jahmiyya and Mu’tazila speak with this, and they distort the text of the revelation regarding that, and they claim that the Lord is purified of that [i.e. having spoken to Moses and taken Ibrahim as a khalil] Mukhtasar al-Uluww" of adh-Dhahabi, (p.133).

ALLAH'S VOICE IS AUDIBLE (He speaks and we can hear it)
-He speaks in a way that befits His dignity and majesty

"And throw down your stick!" But when he saw it moving as if it were a snake, he turned in flight, and did not look back. (It was said): "O Mûsa (Moses)! Fear not, verily! The Messengers fear not in front of Me. (An-Naml 27:10)

Even though Musa was brave, he was afraid of snakes

-Some snakes are very poisonous
-it is your natural instincts to be afraid of snakes
-because when they bite they can kill
-as brace as Musa was, he ran when he saw the snake
-As brave as prophet Musa (as) was he ran away from the snake

More people die from snake bites than plane crashes every year
-a snake will kill a baby, but a dog
-will look after a baby (documentary)
-the snake will wrap itself around baby and swallow her
-the Sahabah looked in the house he saw a snake
-the snake killed him and he died
-when you see a snake in the house say audhubillah 3 times
-if it doesn’t leave then kill it

Malik related to me from Safiyy, the mawla of Ibn Aflah that Abu's-Saib, the mawla of Hisham ibn Zuhra said, "I went to Abu Said al-Khudri and found him praying. I sat to wait for him until he finished the prayer. I heard a movement under a bed in his room, and it was a snake. I stood up to kill it, and Abu Said gestured to me to sit. When he was finished he pointed to a room in the house and said, 'Do you see this room?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'There was a young boy in it who had just got married. He went out with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to al-Khandaq, (the ditch which the muslims dug in the 5th year of the Hijra to defend Madina against the Quraysh and their allies).

When he was there, the youth came and asked his permission, saying, "Messenger of Allah. Give me permission to return to my family." The Messenger of Allah (SAW), gave him permission and said, "Take your weapons with you, for I fear the Banu Quraydha tribe. They may harm you." The youth went to his family and found his wife standing between the two doors. He lifted his spear to stab her as jealousy had been aroused in him. She said, "Don't be hasty until you go in and see what is in your house." He entered and found a snake coiled up on his bed. He transfixed it with his spear and then went out with it and pitched it into the house. The snake stirred on the end of the spear and the youth fell dead. No one knew which of them died first, the snake or the youth. That was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (SAW), and he said, "There are jinn in Madina who have become muslim. When you see one of them, call out to it for three days. If it appears after that, then kill it, for it is a shaytan." [Ibn Majah 54:12.33, Sahih Muslim 26:5557, Maliks Muwatta 54.33]

Narrated By Ibn Umar: That he heard the Prophet delivering a sermon on the pulpit saying, "Kill snakes and kill Dhu-at-Tufyatain (i.e. a snake with two white lines on its back) and ALBATROSS (i.e. a snake with short or mutilated tail) for they destroy the sight of one's eyes and bring about abortion." ('Abdullah bin 'Umar further added): Once while I was chasing a snake in order, to kill it, Abu Lubaba called me saying: "Don't kill it," I said. "Allah's Apostle ordered us to kill snakes." He said, "But later on he prohibited the killing of snakes living in the houses." (Az-Zubri said. "Such snakes are called Al-Awamir.") [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 54, Hadith #518]

The Rasul (Saw)
allowed us to kills snakes with impunity and immunity
-The prophet (saw) ordered us to kill snakes
-Some people have a snake as a pet,
-these people are attention seekers

The Sahabahs never used to have pets, just cats
-You are oppressing the bird by having it in the cage
-you are giving the bird life imprisonment

Narrated By 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger." Allah's Apostle further said, (Allah knows better) Allah said (to the woman), 'You neither fed it nor watered when you locked it up, nor did you set it free to eat the insects of the earth." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 40, Hadith #553]

It is makrooh to have pet dogs

-Its good to have a pet cat because they eat rats which are pests

Narrated By Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever keeps a dog, one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducted daily, unless the dog is used for guarding a farm or cattle." Abu Huraira (in another narration) said from the Prophet, "unless it is used for guarding sheep or farms, or for hunting." Narrated Abu Hazim from Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A dog for guarding cattle or for hunting." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 39, Hadith #515]

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha from Humayda bint Abi Ubayda ibn Farwa that her maternal aunt Kabsha bint Kab ibn Malik, who was the wife of the son of Abu Qatada al-Ansari, told her that once Abu Qatada was visiting her and she poured out some water for him to do wudu with. Just then a cat came to drink from it, so he tilted the vessel towards it to let it drink. Kabsha continued, "He saw me looking at him and said, 'Are you surprised, daughter of my brother?' I said, 'Yes.' He replied that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, cats are not impure. They intermingle with you.'"
Yahya said that Malik said, "There is no harm in that unless one sees impurities on the cat's mouth." [Maliks Muwatta, 2.13]

Except him who has done wrong and afterwards has changed evil for good, then surely, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (An-Naml 27:11)

"And put your hand into your bosom, it will come forth white without hurt. (These are) among the nine signs (you will take) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his people, they are a people who are the Fasiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). (An-Naml 27:12)

Allah said these are among the 9 signs that you should take to the pharaoh of Egypt

-still the pharaoh did not give up power after these 9 signs
-when our signs came to them they said "This is magic"

But when Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came to them, clear to see, they said: "This is a manifest magic." (An-Naml 27:13)

And they belied them (those Ayat) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayat) are from Allah, and Mûsa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allah in truth, but they disliked to obey Mûsa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidûn (disbelievers, disobedient to Allah, evil-doers, liars.). (An-Naml 27:14)

When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad SAW), they say: "We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah." Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed. (Al-Munafiqun 63:1)

They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what they used to do. (Al-Munafiqun 63:2)

-conviction of the heart
