-222- The 13 Laws of Nature

The 13 Laws of Nature ...
by Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

NOTES typed LIVE by AT-21
Edit and formatting by AT-21 and AT-5

NATURE has its laws and whenever we don’t comply, we bring harm to
-our self
-our family

We must surrender willingly or unwillingly
-no one here in this room believes that nature has only 10 laws
-because science has more laws of nature
-the same as marketing, sociology, psychology and such so we can have 100s of laws
-we're interested in the ones that affect us on a daily basis

Some laws of nature,,,
[so men can not impregnate goats]
-so there are many, many laws of nature
-these are not the laws we will discuss tonight,
-because we want to focus on what affects us personally

We teach PRACTICAL ISLAM, not theoretical Islam

-if we know this, why don't we sow good things?

Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of evil befalls you, and is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allah is Sufficient as a Witness. (An-Nisa 4:79)

-this ayah says, we reap what we sow
-so why not sow good things?

Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon). (Ar-Rum 30:41)

Example: The mad-cow disease in the UK
-and foot-mouth disease
-these scenarios were mentioned in al-Qur'an

And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad), (An-Najm 53:39)

-man can only get what we strive toward
-we reap whatever we sow
-we can't expect to plant corn and expect to get peas

-Imam Shafi'i said that zina is a debt that we owe

Stay chaste and your women will be chaste, and save yourself from that which is unfit for a Muslim. Verily, adultery is a debt, if you have taken this debt, know that its payment will be taken from the people of your household. One who commits adultery, in return adultery will be commited with him, even though it will be commited against the wall of your house. O man! If you are wise then you should know it (Diwan Ash-Shafi'i)

-so if we seduce someone's wife, someone will one day seduce our wives [example]
-so when we sin, we look over our shoulder, knowing what goes around, comes around
-when we dig a hole for someone, we can fall in that same hole

Stay chaste and your women will be chaste, and save yourself from that which is unfit for a Muslim. Verily, adultery is a debt, if you have taken this debt, know that its payment will be taken from the people of your household. One who commits adultery, in return adultery will be commited with him, even though it will be commited against the wall of your house. O man! If you are wise then you should know it (Diwan Ash-Shafi'i)

Say: "O you mankind! Now truth (i.e. the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad SAW), has come to you from your Lord. So whosoever receives guidance, he does so for the good of his own self, and whosoever goes astray, he does so to his own loss, and I am not (set) over you as a Wakil (disposer of affairs to oblige you for guidance)." (Yunus 10:108)

-if you're a male, you should attract to a female and vice versa
-in Islam, it doesn't exist to have sexual preference;
-we're to be attracted to the opposite
-in the Arabic language, we do not have a word for "gay"
-we say "the people of Lut"
-our words are male or female, nothing mixed
-language affects our mentality and our psyche
-to brainwash someone, first teach them your language

Can a man be gay and Muslim @ the same time?

There is a difference of opinion concerning the punishment for the one who commits sodomy. The following are the opinions that were mentioned by Imam Ash-Shawkani in "Nayl Al-Awtar" , Vol. 7/p122-124.

1) That he is killed with the sword, then burnt. This is narrated from Abu Bakr and 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib.
2) That a wall should be collapsed upon him. This was the opinion of 'Umar and 'Uthman.
3) That he should be thrown from the highest building in the city, then that should be followed up with him being pelted with rocks. This was the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas.

4) That he is stoned. This is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi from 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib, Ash-Sha'bi, Az-Zuhri, Malik, Ahmad, Is'haq, and Ash-Shafi'i.

5) That they are burned. This was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi, that Abu Bakr gathered the Sahabah and 'Ali mentioned this, and the Sahabah agreed upon it. It was also mentioned by Al-Munthiri that it was done by Abu Bakr, 'Ali, 'Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubayr, and Hisham Ibn 'Abdil-Malik.

6) That he is stoned, then burnt with fire. This is narrated from the Sahabah agreeing upon it in the time of Abu Bakr.

7) That the punishment is the same as Zina, in that if he is a virgin, he is whipped, and if he is not, then he is stoned.

8) That there is no prescribed punishment, rather it is left up to the Imam to perform Ta'zir, and this was narrated from Abu Hanifah, and one narration from Ash-Shafi'i, and others.

Ash-Shawkani refutes the opinion of the punishment being the same as Zina, as well as the opinion that there is only Ta'zir, and supports the opinion that he is killed, but does not appear to specify which way of killing is the strongest.

Abu Bakr didn't pray janaza over the homos-xuals,

-rather, he burned their bodies and buried them
-the book we reference above is a classical Islamic book
-Shaikhs will have these books in their collection
-Abdullah Ibn Zubayr was a governor but he also did as the Sahabahs:
-burned their bodies and did no janaza over them

I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me.”(Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

-so no, you can not be a gay AND a Muslim @ the same time
-even w/ adultery, we can be Muslim @ the time we commit adultery
-inter-racial relationships are even more exciting
-and these are part of the law of attraction
-different colors attract each other

-so even if we peak at our zenith, as a nation, we will one day come down
-look at the Coptic Empire of Egypt ..
-Cleopatra was the last Coptic leader
-it's now in the dustbin of history
-where is the Persian Empire? or the Byzantine Empire?
-Both are in the dustbin of history
-where is the USSR? see 7:34 .. it no longer exists!

And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). (Al-A'raf 7:34)

-we can't delay destiny / what is appointed for us
-Nicolae Ceausescu was toppled overnight in Romania

-nothing peaks and stays on top forever
-such as football and soccer teams: in the 1970s, they were at their peak
-and now they are not even in the top 10

And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). (Al-A'raf 7:34)

-when Muhammad (pbuh) invited people to dawah, he invited them for a meal first
-look at animals - they are vicious when they are hungry

-we have 2 Hizbu in this world:

1) party of shaitan
2) party of Allah
-this is also called the LAW OF REPELLING

THE LAW OF REPELLING, as per the Qur’an:
And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Baqarah 2:251)

Afghanistan in the 1970s .. they made the Soviet Union end and they thought they would never end

For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. (Al-Hajj 22:40)

We, Muslims, wait for Imam Mahdi to return
-and the kuffaar wait for the Dajjaal
-we if we don't resist, our masjids will be torn down

“If you deal in usury (riba) and hang onto the tails of cows, being satisfied with cultivation and ceasing to take part in Jihad, Allah will inflict a humiliation upon you which will not be removed until you return to your religion.” [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud and graded as authentic by Al-Qattan. Al-Hafiz states in Al-Bulugh that the chain of narrators is trustworthy and reliable]

-right now, we do not collect any jizya from the kuffaar
-but in times past, we always collected jizya from them
-Haran ar-Rashid used to tell the rain, fall wherever you want to
-he did jihad one year and hajj the next year
-we can't make takfir on him because he implemented Shariah
-we only make takfir on those who lead by their evil desires
-and dismantle the Shariah
-Ibn Hanbal didn't make takfir on Ma'moon because

1. he practiced al walaa wal baraa
2 he implemented the Shariah
3 he did jihad

And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Baqarah 2:251)

People are bullies:

-when they know you're a soft person, they will beat you up
-countries are like this, too
-such as countries that call themselves 'super-powers'
-when people abandon jihad, they become the lowest of the low
-they will put our men in one concentration camp
-and a rape-camp for our sisters
-such as Abu Ghraib

Jihad is the peak of the matter: resist to exist

The peak of the matter is Islam; the pillar is prayer; and its topmost part is jihad." [Nawawi's 40 Hadiths, No. 29]

By Al-'Asr (the time). (Al-'Asr 103:1)

Verily! Man is in loss, (Al-'Asr 103:2)

-man is a loser and a failure, except those who believe
-and work righteous deeds and encourage each other and have sabr

Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds,

Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'rûf)which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar)which Allah has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad, etc.). (Al-'Asr 103:3)

1 Who is your Lord?
2 What was Your Religion?
3 Who was Your Prophet?

Sayyidina Bara (RA) reported from the Prophet (SAW) about this verse: "Allah keeps the believers firm with the stable word in the worldly life and in the Hereafter." (14:27) He explained that this has reference to the grave when it is asked, “Who is your Lord? What is your religion and who was your Prophet?” [Bukhari 1369, Muslim 2871, Abu Dawud 4750, Tirmidhi 3131, Nisai 2056, Ibn e Majah 4269]

Christians and Jews can't answer these questions

-if they can't answer these questions, then how can a Hindu?
-so the kuffaar will fail the exam in the grave
-they are in a state of loss
-because if they don’t' prepare, they will fail
-the best preparation we can have is: taqwah

And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is At-Taqwa (piety, righteousness, etc.). So fear Me, O men of understanding! (Al-Baqarah 2:197)

When we go on a journey, the best thing we can pack is taqwah

-how many times do we rush to do something w/o following a format,
-such as A B C D E F G H

Sahl ibn Sa’d Sa’idi reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Deliberation is from Allah, but haste is from the devil”. (Tirmidhi 2019)

-when we rush, we must start all over again
-haste is from the shaitan
-people want everything NOW so much they want to wait for repairs
-good things come to those who wait

-we don't like the animal, the pig ... it eats its own feces

But whosoever is forced by necessity without willful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, (for him) certainly, your Lord is Oft¬Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Al-An'am 6:145)

-but in 6:145, we're told if we're forced and are starving,
-we can eat the pig
-so even if we despise it, and we see other products
-w/ pig parts in it, or gelatin or animal shortening
-we don't buy it because we don’t' consume haraam
-because, if we do, our du'a is rejected
-but 6:145 gives provision for it
-we're also allowed to drink alcohol
-if we're choking and nothing else is available

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : the messenger of Allah said : "Allah the Almighty is good and accepts only that which is good. Allah has commanded the faithful to do that which he commanded the messengers, and the Almighty has said: "O ye messengers ! Eat of the good things and do right". And Allah the Almighty has said : "O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you" Then he mentioned [the case of] a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky [saying] : "O Lord! O Lord!" - while his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered !" related by Muslim

Shaikh in the UK

-he brought people together for marriage so they did not commit zina
-the sisters asked good questions: why are you asking ME for nikah
-am I expected to wear niqaab or hijab, if we marry
-will I be permitted to finish university
-will you find me my own space to live
-what is your aqeeda?
-are you planning to make hijrah?
-they might ask 10 crucial questions [Shaikh guided their questions]
-but if the brothers don't answer correctly,
-when Shaikh got home, the sisters would call him and say
-I SMELL A RAT - we're not compatible!
-life is already stressful so why marry someone
-who will make you end up in a mental home?
-we all want someone we're compatible with, such as
-physically, spiritually, morally, culturally
-Aisha (r.a.) said when Muhammad (saws) had something to do,
-he chose the easier way, if it is halal

Aishah, radiya Allahu 'anhu, who said; "Whenever the Prophet, salla Allaahu 'alaihe wasallam, has a choice between two matters, he would choose the easiest, unless it is sinful (act)" [Bukhari].

Ishmael's wife told Ibrahim her life was tough
-and Ishmael was working [not there]
-Ibrahim said to change the threshold of his door
-she gave him the salaam of the man [Ibrahim]
-and he said YOU are the threshold of my door
-so he divorced her!
-again, another wife was asked the same question
-and this time he said tell Ishmael
-to keep the threshold of your door
-he told her that was my father and you are
-whom he meant as the threshold of his door

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: The first lady to use a girdle was the mother of Ishmael. She used a girdle so that she might hide her tracks from Sarah. Abraham brought her and her son Ishmael while she was suckling him, to a place near the Ka'ba under a tree on the spot of Zam-Zam, at the highest place in the mosque. During those days there was nobody in Mecca, nor was there any water So he made them sit over there and placed near them a leather bag containing some dates, and a small water-skin containing some water, and set out homeward. Ishmael's mother followed him saying, "O Abraham! Where are you going, leaving us in this valley where there is no person whose company we may enjoy, nor is there anything (to enjoy)?" She repeated that to him many times, but he did not look back at her Then she asked him, "Has Allah ordered you to do so?" He said, "Yes." She said, "Then He will not neglect us," and returned while Abraham proceeded onwards, and on reaching the Thaniya where they could not see him, he faced the Ka'ba, and raising both hands, invoked Allah saying the following prayers:

'O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Your Sacred House (Kaba at Mecca) in order, O our Lord, that they may offer prayer perfectly. So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (O Allah) provide them with fruits, so that they may give thanks.' (14.37) Ishmael's mother went on suckling Ishmael and drinking from the water (she had).

When the water in the water-skin had all been used up, she became thirsty and her child also became thirsty. She started looking at him (i.e. Ishmael) tossing in agony; She left him, for she could not endure looking at him, and found that the mountain of Safa was the nearest mountain to her on that land. She stood on it and started looking at the valley keenly so that she might see somebody, but she could not see anybody. Then she descended from Safa and when she reached the valley, she tucked up her robe and ran in the valley like a person in distress and trouble, till she crossed the valley and reached the Marwa mountain where she stood and started looking, expecting to see somebody, but she could not see anybody. She repeated that (running between Safa and Marwa) seven times."

The Prophet said, "This is the source of the tradition of the walking of people between them (i.e. Safa and Marwa). When she reached the Marwa (for the last time) she heard a voice and she asked herself to be quiet and listened attentively. She heard the voice again and said, 'O, (whoever you may be)! You have made me hear your voice; have you got something to help me?" And behold! She saw an angel at the place of Zam-Zam, digging the earth with his heel (or his wing), till water flowed from that place. She started to make something like a basin around it, using her hand in this way, and started filling her water-skin with water with her hands, and the water was flowing out after she had scooped some of it."

The Prophet added, "May Allah bestow Mercy on Ishmael's mother! Had she let the Zam-Zam (flow without trying to control it) (or had she not scooped from that water) (to fill her water-skin), Zam-Zam would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth." The Prophet further added, "Then she drank (water) and suckled her child. The angel said to her, 'Don't be afraid of being neglected, for this is the House of Allah which will be built by this boy and his father, and Allah never neglects His people.' The House (i.e. Kaba) at that time was on a high place resembling a hillock, and when torrents came, they flowed to its right and left. She lived in that way till some people from the tribe of Jurhum or a family from Jurhum passed by her and her child, as they (i.e. the Jurhum people) were coming through the way of Kada'. They landed in the lower part of Mecca where they saw a bird that had the habit of flying around water and not leaving it. They said, 'This bird must be flying around water, though we know that there is no water in this valley.' They sent one or two messengers who discovered the source of water, and returned to inform them of the water. So, they all came (towards the water)." The Prophet added, "Ishmael's mother was sitting near the water. They asked her, 'Do you allow us to stay with you?" She replied, 'Yes, but you will have no right to possess the water.' They agreed to that." The Prophet further said, "Ishmael's mother was pleased with the whole situation as she used to love to enjoy the company of the people. So, they settled there, and later on they sent for their families who came and settled with them so that some families became permanent residents there. The child (i.e. Ishmael) grew up and learnt Arabic from them and (his virtues) caused them to love and admire him as he grew up, and when he reached the age of puberty they made him marry a woman from amongst them.

After Ishmael's mother had died, Abraham came after Ishmael's marriage in order to see his family that he had left before, but he did not find Ishmael there. When he asked Ishmael's wife about him, she replied, 'He has gone in search of our livelihood.' Then he asked her about their way of living and their condition, and she replied, 'We are living in misery; we are living in hardship and destitution,' complaining to him. He said, 'When your husband returns, convey my salutation to him and tell him to change the threshold of the gate (of his house).' When Ishmael came, he seemed to have felt something unusual, so he asked his wife, 'Has anyone visited you?' She replied, 'Yes, an old man of so-and-so description came and asked me about you and I informed him, and he asked about our state of living, and I told him that we were living in a hardship and poverty.' On that Ishmael said, 'Did he advise you anything?' She replied, 'Yes, he told me to convey his salutation to you and to tell you to change the threshold of your gate.' Ishmael said, 'It was my father, and he has ordered me to divorce you. Go back to your family.' So, Ishmael divorced her and married another woman from amongst them (i.e. Jurhum).

Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allah wished and called on them again but did not find Ishmael. So he came to Ishmael's wife and asked her about Ishmael. She said, 'He has gone in search of our livelihood.' Abraham asked her, 'How are you getting on?' asking her about their sustenance and living. She replied, 'We are prosperous and well-off (i.e. we have everything in abundance).' Then she thanked Allah' Abraham said, 'What kind of food do you eat?' She said. 'Meat.' He said, 'What do you drink?' She said, 'Water." He said, "O Allah! Bless their meat and water." The Prophet added, "At that time they did not have grain, and if they had grain, he would have also invoked Allah to bless it." The Prophet added, "If somebody has only these two things as his sustenance, his health and disposition will be badly affected, unless he lives in Mecca." The Prophet added," Then Abraham said Ishmael's wife, "When your husband comes, give my regards to him and tell him that he should keep firm the threshold of his gate.' When Ishmael came back, he asked his wife, 'Did anyone call on you?' She replied, 'Yes, a good-looking old man came to me,' so she praised him and added. 'He asked about you, and I informed him, and he asked about our livelihood and I told him that we were in a good condition.' Ishmael asked her, 'Did he give you any piece of advice?' She said, 'Yes, he told me to give his regards to you and ordered that you should keep firm the threshold of your gate.' On that Ishmael said, 'It was my father, and you are the threshold (of the gate). He has ordered me to keep you with me.'

Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allah wished, and called on them afterwards. He saw Ishmael under a tree near Zam-Zam, sharpening his arrows. When he saw Abraham, he rose up to welcome him (and they greeted each other as a father does with his son or a son does with his father). Abraham said, 'O Ishmael! Allah has given me an order.' Ishmael said, 'Do what your Lord has ordered you to do.' Abraham asked, 'Will you help me?' Ishmael said, 'I will help you.' Abraham said, Allah has ordered me to build a house here,' pointing to a hillock higher than the land surrounding it." The Prophet added, "Then they raised the foundations of the House (i.e. the Ka'ba). Ishmael brought the stones and Abraham was building, and when the walls became high, Ishmael brought this stone and put it for Abraham who stood over it and carried on building, while Ishmael was handing him the stones, and both of them were saying, 'O our Lord! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.' The Prophet added, "Then both of them went on building and going round the Ka'ba saying: O our Lord ! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." (2.127) [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 55, Hadith #583]

Why did Ibrahim say to divorce the 1st wife?

-They were not compatible and she was always complaining
-but the 2nd wife was always grateful, saying, 'alhumdulillah'
-you can't be compatible w/ an ungrateful woman / man
-this is a law of nature - we can not go against this
-if the neighbor's hear your voice
-when you're living w/ a woman, you should move from her
-she should be quiet and pious
-the aging process would be accelerated living w/ THAT type of woman
-we're to live w/ each other w/ KINDNESS - see 30:21

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

-if we don’t' find comfort w/ a partner or love, then we're w/ the wrong person
-we need affection and mercy, too
-our marriage should bring us comfort

Bad statements are for bad people (or bad women for bad men) and bad people for bad statements (or bad men for bad women). Good statements are for good people (or good women for good men) and good people for good statements (or good men for good women), such (good people) are innocent of (each and every) bad statement which they say, for them is Forgiveness, and Rizqun Karim (generous provision i.e. Paradise). (An-Nur 24:26)

Pimps and prostitutes live happily together
-because they are one shaitan
-evil men and women attract each other

And live with them honourably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it a great deal of good. (An-Nisa 4:19

-we're never to marry anyone we're not compatible with

-the Sunnah of Muhammad (saws) is wisdom (hikmah)

He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in manifest error; (Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)

Muhammad did NOT open up many war-fronts
-he never opened 2 war-fronts simultaneously
-he dealt w/ one group at a time, such as the Jews
-but Hitler declared war on UK and US and Russia, simultaneously
-it destroys the economy to have 2 wars at the same time
-George Bush made the same mistake by invading Iraq and Afghanistan
-he has a quagmire, with no exit strategy, no way to get out winning
-their pride doesn't allow them to pull their troops out (US / UK soldiers)
-look how the IED that our mujahideen kids make
-for 5.00 USD can break the kuffaar million dollar tanks

Abu Lahab and Abu Jahl had the same disease of the heart: pride
-We only care about the laws that affect us personally

-when something is in season, we can buy for 1 dollar US
-but if not in season, it's more expensive
-when the supply decrease, demand increases and price goes up
-so an entrepreneur will use this formula
-if we don't apply these laws, we bring harm to
-our family
-our country

When we read the Qur'an, it tells us He is the All-Wise and All-Mighty

the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (Al-Jumu'ah 62:1)

And He (Allah) is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (Al-Jumu'ah 62:3)

Allah gives wisdom to whomever He please

He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. (Al-Baqarah 2:269)
