Bismillah -

Whenever there is no sincerity,

- everything becomes total chaos
- you cannot find a sincere person to marry your daughter
- you cannot find a sincere person to give you
- a good interpretation of an ayah
- hypocrisy caused the community to come to a halt
- while sincerity causes progress
- the biggest problem in the Ummah is the lack of sincerity
- you cannot find a sincere person for Jihad
- if you are twelve thousand strong no army in the world can defeat you
- but you cannot find sincere Muslims to do Jihad with you
- some of them believe in the covenant of security
- they hide behind the covenant of security
- anyone who believes in the covenant of security is a munafiqh
- we are here today to discuss sincerity
- because it is lacking in the ummah of Mohammad (SAWS)

If Allah desires good for someone He bestows on him understanding of the deen (Bukhari, Vol 9, No 415)

- whenever Allah wants good for you He gives you
- the proper understanding of the Deen
- if you are walking around with the wrong/erroneous Aqeedah
- you are not sincere
- if you are walking around claiming that democracy is Aqeedah is Kufr
- and that the Mujahideen are Khawarij
- and it is halal to spy for the CIA and the MI 5
- these are all dodgy aqeedah
- then you are a Munafiqh

Abu Baseer from the UK
- made takfir on Al-Qaradawi
- those who believe fight for Allah and those
- who are Kuffaar fight for the Taghut

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghoot (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan). (An-Nisa 4:76)

- three men will be drug on their faces on judgment day
- Allah will say, "Why did you seek knowledge?"
- to help Islam
- Allah will say you are a liar, you did it
- because you wanted to be called kind hearted
- why did you fight?
- it is because you wanted to be called brave heart
- whenever you do something in life you have to have a good intention
- beware of the shirk of showing-off

On the authority of Abu Huraira, I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: The first of men (whose case) will be decided on the Day of Judgment will be a man who died as a martyr. He shall be brought (before the Judgment Seat). Allah will make him recount His blessings (i.e. the blessings which He had bestowed upon him) and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his life). (Then) will Allah say: What did you do (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I fought for Thee until I died as a martyr. Allah will say: You have told a lie. You fought that you might be called a "brave warrior". And you were called so, (Then) orders will be passed against him and he will be dragged with his face downward and cast into Hell. Then will be brought forward a man who acquired knowledge and imparted it (to others) and recited the Qur'an. He will be brought And Allah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them (and admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime). Then will Allah ask: What did you do (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I acquired knowledge and disseminated it and recited the Qur'an seeking Thy pleasure. Allah will say: You have told a lie. You acquired knowledge so that you might be called "a scholar," and you recited the Qur'an so that it might be said: "He is a Qari" and such has been said. Then orders will be passed against him and he shall be dragged with his face downward and cast into the Fire. Then will be brought a man whom Allah had made abundantly rich and had granted every kind of wealth. He will be brought and Allah will make him recount His blessings and he will recount them and (admit having enjoyed them in his lifetime). Allah will (then) ask: What have you done (to requite these blessings)? He will say: I spent money in every cause in which Thou wished that it should be spent. Allah will say: You are lying. You did (so) that it might be said about (You): "He is a generous fellow" and so it was said. Then will Allah pass orders and he will be dragged with his face downward and thrown into Hell. (Sahih Muslim 4688, Tirmidhi 2389)

Prophet (pbuh) said: O people, save yourselves from this shirk (ash-Shirk-al-Khafi) for it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant. So someone, whom Allah willed to say, said: How do we save ourselves from it while it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant ya Rasool Allah? Prophet (pbuh) said: “Say: Ya Allah we take your refuge from doing shirk with you knowingly, and ask for your forgiveness for doing it unknowingly" (Musnad Ahmed (4/403))

- beware of shirk al-riyaa
- it is like the black ant climbing on the black wall in a dark night
- be ware of this shirk
- you are not allowed to use Islam to seek fame and fortune
- because Allah will disgrace you in this world and the hereafter

The Yatim, is the Orphan
- woe be unto those who pray, those who are negligent of their prays
- they pray to show off when they pray
- they do not pray when they are by themselves at home
- they only pray at the Masjid
- they pray to be seen by others
- they refuse small acts of charity

On Judgment Day, Allah will expose his sins on Judgment Day
- everyone will bow down except the Munafiqh
- he will try to bow down by he cannot

Narrated By Abu Said: I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah will bring forth the severest Hour, and then all the Believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the world for showing off and for gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (on the Day of Judgment) but their back swill be as stiff as if it is one bone (a single vertebra)." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #441]

(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, (Al-Qalam 68:42)

- such people will try to prostrate on the day of Judgment
- but there back will be stiff like it were one single vertebrae
- they cannot bow down
- because they used to pray in the dunya to show off
- remember the day when the shin shall be laid bear
- that is the day of resurrection
- the Munafiqun shall not be able to do so
- why did the shaikh quote this ayah and hadith
- because whenever you do things to show off Allah will punish you

(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, (Al-Qalam 68:42)

was in the battle field and he overpowered a Mushrik
- just as he was about to overpower him, the Mushrik spat in his face
- but Ali did not kill him
- if you were in the battle field fighting a Hindu
- you are the best Ummah
- can you imagine if you overpower a Hindu and he spat in your face

You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained)

- I am sure you will kill the Hindu or a Buddhist you would kill him
- but when the Kaafir spat in the face of Ali he refused to kill him
- when Ali was asked why he said:
- I am afraid if I kill him I would kill him because my pride is hurt
- I want to be sure that if I kill him, I do so for the sake of Allah
- look at the sincerity of the Sahabah
- even on the battlefield, they were sincere

and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fasiqûn (disobedient to Allah - and rebellious against Allah's Command). (Aali Imran 3:110)

"Know, O Amr, I only kill in the way of Allah and not for any private motive. Since you spat in my face, my killing you now may be from a desire for personal vengeance. So I spare your life. Rise and return to your people!" (long incident mentioned by at-Tabarani)

- he did not want to kill the Kaffir for his own vexation,
- he wanted to kill him for the sake of Allah
- in regards to this Allah said

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-An'am 6:162)

- this Ayah tells you that anything you do must be for the sake of Allah
- and not to seek fame nor fortune

Jabber Ibn Abdullah was marching
- to the battle field with the Rasul (SAWS)
- and the prophet caught up with Jabir who was complaining
- that his camel was so old
- and he did not think the camel would make it to the front line
- the prophet hit the camel with his hand and the camel
- became young and galloped
- and overtook the other camels
- so the same camel that was so old
- during the conversation the prophet asked Jabber if he is married
- Jabber said yes

Narrated By Jabir bin 'Abdullah: I was accompanying the Prophet on a journey and was riding a slow camel that was lagging behind the others. The Prophet passed by me and asked, "Who is this?" I replied, "Jabir bin 'Abdullah." He asked, "What is the matter, (why are you late)?" I replied, "I am riding a slow camel." He asked, "Do you have a stick?" I replied in the affirmative. He said, "Give it to me." When I gave it to him, he beat the camel and rebuked it. Then that camel surpassed the others thenceforth. The Prophet said, "Sell it to me." I replied, "It is (a gift) for you, O Allah's Apostle." He said, "Sell it to me. I have bought it for four Dinars (gold pieces) and you can keep on riding it till Medina." When we approached Medina, I started going (towards my house). The Prophet said, "Where are you going?" I Sad, "I have married a widow." He said, "Why have you not married a virgin to fondle with each other?" I said, "My father died and left daughters, so I decided to marry a widow (an experienced woman) (to look after them)." He said, "Well done." When we reached Medina, Allah's Apostle said, "O Bilal, pay him (the price of the camel) and give him extra money." Bilal gave me four Dinars and one Qirat extra. (A sub-narrator said): Jabir added, "The extra Qirat of Allah's Apostle never parted from me." The Qirat was always in Jabir bin 'Abdullah's purse. [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 38, Hadith #504]

- Jabir said that he married a non virgin
- because she could look over his sisters
- the prophet asked: did you marry a virgin or a non virgin
- the prophet approved of what Jabir did
- the Rasul (SAWS), bought the camel from Jabber
- Jabber said that he will sell the camel with one condition
- if I can give it to you when we get to Madina
- so, you can sell something with a clause
- but when they got to Madina
- this camel lived in the 12 years of Ottoman’s caliphate
- so, this camel, which Jabber thought was going to die
- because of its old age, lived for 24 years
- the Shaikh does not know what happened to the camel after that.

How is this topic relevant to the topic of sincerity?

- it is relevant because, he had a camel that was very old,
- but he still took it to jihad,
- because the companions were zealous about jihad,
- and he took the chance to march it to the battle
- many of the companions when they were told they did not have
- any camels to transport them to jihad
- they used to cry
- they cried profusely because they missed out on an opportunity
- to go out for Jihad
- so, you can sell something with a clause
- but when they got to Madina
- this camel lived in the 12 years of Uthmaan’s caliphate
- so, this camel, which Jabber thought was going to die
- because of its old age, lived for 24 years
- this shows the sincerity of Jabber Ibn Abdullah
- because he took a Camel that could have died
- this is one of the miracles of the prophet
- we have covered the miracles of the prophet before in this room
- but many of you missed that lesson so maybe we can repeat
- we should not forget Abdullah Ibn Maktum, the blind Sahabah
- he was the Sahabah who asked the prophet:
- teach me the things that Allah has told you / taught you
- Ibn Maktum became a Muslim, a very good Muslim

(The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, ('Abasa 80:1)

- even though the lame are exempted from jihad
- the disabled are exempted from jihad

Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). ('Abasa 80:2)

- so you might think, that Abdullah Ibn Maktum, would not go to Jihad
- but this blind Sahabah used to go for Jihad
- you are thinking: oh Shaikh, how can a blind man participate in Jihad
- but he used to go for Jihad
- he used to carry the flag of the Muslims
- even though Allah told them that the cripple is exempted from Jihad
- still he went for Jihad
- to carry the flag of the Muslims on the battlefields
- because when the flag is high, the morale is high
- and when it was low they were disgraced
- the Shaikh used to be with the boy scouts
- and he was taught that the flags should be raised high
- look at the sincerity of the Sahabah
- we are not finished with the stories of the sincerity of the Sahabahs
- let us take a look at the women of Islam
- the foremost woman of Islam is Khadijah
- It is said that every man needs a Khadijah
- she stood by the Rasul
- and she supported him with her wealth
- many find it difficult to spend for the sake of Allah

Aisha never met Khadijah
- the prophet told Aisha that Khadijah believed in him
- when everybody rejected him
- she stood by him in prosperity and in adversity
- even though she was old, she married the prophet
- when she was 40 and he was 25
- the strongest type of love is the spiritual love
- the prophet loved Khadijah for her taqwa
- so if you love your wife for her taqwa
- you will still love her when she is old
- if you did not love her for her taqwa you will trade her in
- for a younger woman
- you can get over a munafiqh
- but whenever that person is sincere you cannot get over them
- the prophet could not get over Khadijah
- Aisha asked the prophet : why do you still talk about Khadijah
- when you have a young woman like me

The Prophet told her that your real beauty is sincerity
- and not physical beauty
- Allah does not look at your physical appearance but
- He scans you for your heart for sincerity
- Kaffirs do not know that
- so those of Hollywood keep divorcing their wives for younger ones
- they do not understand sincerity
- if you are sincere in the west people think you are a fool (in the west)
- you are taught to be deceptive from a very young age
- you need to have 60 different faces
- but when you are a munafiqh with 60 different faces no one will respect you
- look at the British who colonized the world
- no one respects them now
- because they had no sincerity
- their colonization was with hypocrisy
- then they brag that the sun does not set on the British Empire
- because they conquered a large part of the world
- that empire is now in the dustbin of history
- no body likes a Munafiqh

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira with some addition (and it is this): "Verily Allah does not look to your bodies nor to your faces but He looks to your hearts," and he pointed towards the heart with his fingers. [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Hadith #6220]

- you are not allowed to go to the Janazah of a Munafiqh
- people like you when you are honest and frank
- the real beauty is your sincerity
- not your outward beauty
- when a person is a munafiqh, you get over the person in one day
- this is so true!
- it was impossible for the prophet to get over Khadijah
- because of her sincerity
- we are not finished with the stories of the Sahabah's sincerity
- Sumayyah, was the first woman to die for Islam
- the greatest scholar of Islam, was a woman, Aisha

- she acquired knowledge because of her sincerity
- when a person is a munafiqh they cannot retain knowledge.
- Allah spoke about the munafiqoon

And among them are some who listen to you (O Muhammad SAW) till, when they go out from you, they say to those who have received knowledge: "What has he said just now? Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and they follow their lusts (evil desires). (Muhammad 47:16)

- they were in the masjid listening to the prophet,
-yet they couldn’t remember a single thing he said!

The prophet said the munafiqh will never have 2 qualities:
- knowledge of Islam and a good character

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: “Two characteristics cannot combine in a hypocrite: good character and an understanding of religion.” [Reported by Tirmidhi 2693]

- a Munafiqh can never retain the knowledge
- when you are not sincere you will never have knowledge of Islam
- and a beautiful character
- everything you hear from Quran and sunnah, will go in one ear
- and come out of the other.

Abu Huraira reported 2 characteristics cannot be combined in a munafiqh:

1 - a good character
2 - understanding of the deen

Look at the Sufis

- who believe in the oneness of being
- look at the Barelvis and Saudi Salafis: they believe
- you can spy and snitch on Muslims,
- they curse the mujahideen!
- look at those people who believe in the covenant of security
- when a person doesn’t want to do jihad
- they hide behind the covenant of security of security
- because of their nifaq
- When the Munafiqh speaks, they tell on themselves
- you do not have to wonder who is a Muslim and who is a Munafiqh

Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, and you should have known them by their marks, but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all your deeds. (Muhammad 47:30)

- when a Munafiqh opens his mouth and speaks he tells on himself
- he promotes the covenant of security
- he says the matter of dismantling the Sharia' is no big deal
- when the Munafiqh speaks
- he says you can join the British and American Army
- When a Munafiqh speaks he says Tony Blair is my mentor
- Even the Europeans rejected Tony Blair

Kuffaar rejected Tony Blair
- mendacious (lying all the time)
- so, if they did
- how can a Muslim scholar say that Blair is my mentor - Yasir Qaadir
- if you are a wicked scholar: you will have millions of people
- listening to you.
- Tariq Ramadan, Hamza Yusef, wicked scholars
- thousands of people listen you
- 95% of Muslims are not sincere

WHY? .. because most of the Muslims are not sincere.
- so if you are a wicked scholar millions will listen to you
- if you follow a wicked scholar
- Allah will dump you and the wicked scholar in the hell-fire

When those who were followed, disown (declare themselves innocent of) those who followed (them), and they see the torment, then all their relations will be cut off from them. (Al-Baqarah 2:166)

- so, Allah said in Baqara he will dump the wicked scholars
- and their followers in the Hellfire
- Allah said this in 2:166

- people frequently ask the Shaikh how they can detect a wicked scholar
- a sincere scholar preaches al walaa wa al baraa
- kufr bit taghoot and jihad and Shariah
- it mean when you believe in Allah you reject all other deities
- a sincere scholar preaches Fiqh Al-Waqi'
- they call for Shariah, Khilafah and jihad
- he does not call for democracy

- In S. Africa African National Congress
- the African National Congress, legalized gay sex in S. Africa
- they told s. Africans to vote for the ANC
- for you to believe in Democracy it means you are a Munafiqh,
- you are not sincere
- democracy is the greatest shirk: if you believe in it,
- you are a munafiqh and you’re not sincere.
- we do not believe in a democracy

We believe in a Theocracy
- a government of Allah by Allah
- many of you think you worship Allah
- but you do not worship Allah
- you worship a personality
- so you may say who are you to criticize Bin Baz
- Swallow what he says and shut up because it is Bin Baz
- your problem is that you are a pagan
- you worship personalities not Allah (in the west)
- people worship "stars" and famous people.
- who told you that you cannot question scholars?
- the Sahabahs used to question the Prophet.

In Battle of Badr, the Prophet (SAW) and his Companions were deployed in the nearest place to Badr's wells. But Companion Hubab ibn al-Mundhir (RA) was not satisfied with this. With great politeness he said: "O Messenger of Allah (SAW), has Allah inspired you to choose this very spot or is it stratagem of war and the product of consultation?" The Prophet (SAW) replied: "It is stratagem of war and consultation." Al-Hubab said: "This place is no good; let us go and encamp on the nearest water well and make a basin or reservoir full of water, then destroy all the other wells so that they will be deprived of the water." The Prophet (SAW) approved of his plan and agreed to carry it out. [Ibn Hisham: al-Sirah al-Nabawiyyah, 1/620; Ibn Kathir: al-Sirah al-Nabawiyyah, 2/402; al-Suhayli: al-Rawd al-Anif, 3/62; and al-Tabary: Tarikh al-Umam wa al-Muluk, 2-29]

Imran b. Husain reported that a woman from Juhaina came to Allah's Apostle (SAW) and she had become pregnant because of adultery. She said: Allah's Apostle, I have done something for which (prescribed punishment) must be imposed upon me, so impose that. Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) called her master and said: Treat her well, and when she delivers bring her to me. He did accordingly. Then Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) pronounced judgment about her and her clothes were tied around her and then he commanded and she was stoned to death. He then prayed over her (dead body). Thereupon Umar said to him: Allah's Apostle, you offer prayer for her, whereas she had committed adultery ! Thereupon he said: She has made such a repentance that if it were to be divided among seventy men of Medina, it would be enough. Have you found any repentance better than this that she sacrificed her life for Allah, the Majestic? [Sahih Muslim, Book 17, Hadith #4207]

3. THE MADkhalis

SHIA HUJJAH: All the Imams are infallible just like the prophets. The Shia derives their religion from their immaculate (infallible) Imams" (Usool al Kafi, p. 22)

The spiritual status of the imam is the universal divine vice-gerency that is sometimes mentioned by the imams (peace be upon them). It is a vice-gerency pertaining to the whole of creation, by virtue of which all the atoms in the universe humble themselves before the holder of authority (imams). It is one of the essential beliefs of our Shia school that no one can attain the spiritual status of the imams, not even the cherubim or the prophets. Imam Khomeini, Islam and Revolution: Writings and Declarations of Imam Khomeini, (Berkeley: Mizaan Press, 1981)

- they elevate their imams above Allah!
- Shiites elevate their Imams above Allah
- you probably did not know that

SHIA HUJJAH: “Allah often lies and does mistakes” [Usool-al-Kafi, page 328, Yacoob Kulayni, Vol. 1]

- they believe Allah is a liar who makes mistakes (audhubillah)
- but our Imams cannot make mistakes

SHIA HUJJAH: Imams are God (Jila-ul-Ayoun, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 85)

- they say Allah makes mistakes, but their imams cannot make mistakes.
- so you have Shiite neighbors and you did not know that
- they elevate Imams above Allah
- because they are a Jewish movement
- the Shia are the Jews of the ummah
- the Jews say that the Talmud is better than the Torah.

Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them),
and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. (Ya-Sin 36:12)

The Shiites elevate their Imams above Allah

- they say: our Imams cannot make mistakes
- but Allah is a liar who always make mistakes
- that is the aqeedah of the Shiites!
- and many gullible Muslims want to unite with them

3. MADkhalis

- we call them MADkhalis because they are mad
- these three people worship their scholars and preach
- the infallibility of their scholars
- we are going to use an Ayah to flush their dodgy Aqeedah down the drain

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know." (Al-Baqarah 2:30)

- the angels questioned Allah
- so if the angels can question Allah
- who are your sheikhs? that we cannot question them?
- where did you get this Aqeeda from?
- on many occasions
- the Sahabah questioned the Prophet
- when they marched to Badr
- the prophet said we are going to camp here
- and the Sahabah disagreed with him
- and the prophet abandoned his opinion and took the Sahabah's opinion
- the Angels said to Allah: Will you put an earth one
- who cause mischief and bloodshed
- while we are here celebrating you

Allah said I know what you know not
- we will have prophets, Shuhadah, and Ulamaa from among them
- some of them will become good
- so from the children of Adam
- some good will come,
- I know what you know not
- we are not finished with the sincerity of the Sahabahs

Khalid bin Waleed is the only man in history who has never lost a battle

Narrated By Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "Zaid took over the flag and was martyred. Then it was taken by Jafar who was martyred as well. Then 'Abdullah bin Rawaha took the flag but he too was martyred and at that time the eyes of Allah's Apostle were full of tears. Then Khalid bin Al-Walid took the flag without being nominated as a chief (before hand) and was blessed with victory." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23, Hadith #338]

Abu Bakr
appointed him to be the army general for the Muslims.
- he appointed him to be a leader to that al salasil
- the Sahabah were shocked that the prophet would appoint
- such a young person to a battle
- when Omar became a Caliph he fired him
- if you had a good worker, you would never fire them
- but Omar fired Khalid
- and appointed Abu Ubaydah Ibn al-Jarrah
- when al-Jarrah got the letter
- he did not give it to Khalid and fought behind him as a follower
- even though he was supposed to be the one to take over
- look at the sincerity of Ubaidah bi al-Jarrah
- he fought behind Khalid as a follower instead of being a leader
- he was not power hungry
- many of you would show the letter and take the role
- a person who is not sincere is power hungry

The prophet said: we do not give people who ask for a position, we do not give it to them

Narrated By Abu Musa: Two men from my tribe and I entered upon the Prophet. One of the two men said to the Prophet, "O Allah's Apostle! Appoint me as a governor," and so did the second. The Prophet said, "We do not assign the authority of ruling to those who ask for it, nor to those who are keen to have it." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 89, Hadith #263]

People go for power to pile up money and women

- that is why they are power hungry
- because women gravitate to money
- the Battle of Yarmulk came
- and Khalid went to the battlefield and
- fought with the same zeal and enthusiasm
- his zeal was not diminished and the Sahabahs were shocked
- afterwards they asked him why he fought with the same zeal even
- though Omar fired you and gave your job to al-Jaraah
- Khalid said: I conquered Syria for the sake of Allah
- not for the sake of Omar
- Look at the sincerity of the Sahabah
- Many of you if you are in an organization
- and you used to be the secretary
- and you got sacked you abandon the organization and you stop giving Da’wah
- many of you, if you are in a movement and lost your position,
- you would go to the gov’t and expose all the secrets of the movement
- a brother in Egypt divorced a woman
- and she reported all the secrets of the movement
- Muslims today are like headless chickens
- because of lack of sincerity
- hypocrisy is a cancer that eats away the sincerity

Yasir Arafat
- why did Allah not help him liberate Palestine
- it is because he was not sincere -
- his fight was in the name of socialism and Arab nationalism
- the Muslims of Kashmir are trying to liberate Kashmir from the Indians
- how can Allah help them when it is pagans fighting pagans
- how can Allah bless a Barelvis fighting against a Hindu

Barelvis do not believe in Jihad anyway
- how can they liberate Kashmir; it is impossible
- Allah will never give you victory if you are not sincere
- sincerity is a prerequisite
- Actions are by intentions and every man will have that which he intended
- now you know why so many Muslims around the world
- are fighting and are not victorious
- they are not sincere

I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated." [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

The Mujahid
is he who fights to raise La Ilaha Illa Allah
- when there is no sincerity in the community
- you cannot find a man to marry your daughter

The Prophet (SAW) said, ‘He who fights to make Allah’s word (i.e. Islam) be superior is fighting in Allah’s cause.’” [Saheeh ul-Bukhaari]

- you cannot find a man to start a business with
- because he is a hypocrite

A man came to the Prophet and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet said, "He who fights that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause." [Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 65]

- when there is no sincerity you cannot find a scholar
- to give you a proper knowledge
- a man fights for war booty, another for fame
- and the third for showing off
- those who do not go to the battle field
- without sincerity only committed suicide
- and will abide in the Hellfire for ever and ever
- they went to the battle to fight for African Nationalism
- but were not a Mujahid

Narrated Jubair ibn Mut’im: The Messenger of Allah (saws), said: "He is not one us who calls for `Asabiyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for `Asabiyah or who dies for `Asabiyah." [Abu Dawud]

Abdul Azzam
washed his hand of the Palestinians and went to Afghanistan
- because he did not see any sincerity
- so he went to Afghanistan to fight Jihad
- with the Afghanis against the Soviet Union
- because you are not to fight for racism, tribalism, democracy
- you can only fight for Sharia'
- fighting Fi Sabeel Allah
- we are not finished with the stories of the Sahabahs
- when the Rasul was in the battle of Uhud
- the kaffirs broke his tooth and called that they killed Muhammad
- so many Sahabahs ran from the battlefield
- saying that if Muhammad is dead then why would we fight
- Umm Amaara did not run
- go read the Sealed Nectar
- about Um Amaara
- the prophet said when I looked to my right she was fighting
- when I looked to my left she was fighting
- the men ran but the woman did not run
- did you know that the person who saved the prophet's life
- at the battle of Uhud was a woman?
- she saved the life of the Rasul at the battle of Uhud
- all because of Uhud
- did you know that this same woman fought
- against Musaylimah Al-Khataab
- she fought until she lost her Arm and was 60 years old

Umm Umaarah, demonstrated courage and fearlessness in the battle of Uhud.
The Prophet himself said: 'To the left and to the right, in whatever direction I turned, I saw Umm Umaarah fighting in my defence'
'I reached the battlefield in the service of the fighters in the morning. In the beginning the Muslims were dominant and pressing hard on the enemy lines, but later victory deserted them and confusion and disruption spread amongst them. At that time, I went near the Prophet and in his defence began to use a sword, and shoot arrows until I was injured by the enemy. I saw the mark of a big wound on my shoulder and it was by Ibn Qamiah, may Allah destroy him! When the Muslims after the defeat, ran away from the Prophet. Ibn Qamiah advanced shouting, 'Tell me - where is Muhammad! If he goes life from this battlefield I have no escape. This is my ruin and death!'. At this, I, Musab and some other companions who were guarding the Prophet faced him. It was here when Ibn Qamiah struck me, I also attacked him many times but the enemy of Allah was wearing two sets of amour.'
[Seerat ibn Hisham, Vol 3 p 29; Tabaqat ibn Saad Vol 8 p 301]

In 1979 when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan

- Sheikh Bin Baz said that Jihad was Fard Al-Ayn
- and he quoted the hadith: The Muslims in their
- love for each other are one body
- when one part is infected, the other part feels the pain

“The believers, in their mutual mercy, love and compassion, are like a (single) body; if one part of it feels pain, the rest of the body will join it in staying awake and suffering fever.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari)

- so we did not have a Caliph back then and no one objected to Bin Baz's fatwa
- half a million men went to fight the soviet union
- because Bin Baz said so
- my question said to you: when Sheikh Bin Baz passed this fatwa,
- we did not have a Caliph,
- so where did you get the Aqeeda that there is not Jihad without a Caliph
- we are living in dodgy times and are putting dodgy conditions on Jihad
- so because there is no sincerity they say ‘there is no Jihad,’
- because there is no Jihad without a Caliph
- so the Muslims are not sincere
- and because the majority are not sincere
- their lands are occupied
- their women are raped
- they are raided by the crusaders
- their natural resources are being stolen
- because they are not sincere
- Allah did not call them scholars
- you call them scholars
- Allah says they are Donkeys and Dogs in the Holy Qur’an

And recite (O Muhammad SAW) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw them away, so Shaitan (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray. (Al-A'raf 7:175)

- if you give the wicked scholar knowledge he sells out
- if you hold back he still sells out
- betray the Muslims
- and if you withhold the knowledge, he will still sell out
- did you hear about the Scholar in Syria
- who supported Bashar Al-Asad

And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his description is the description of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the description of the people who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect. (Al-A'raf 7:176)

What happened to him?

- One shot in his head. How can you be a scholar
- and support Bashar Al-Asad.
- Have you heard about he Mufti of Chechnya
- who passed a fatwa saying the Soviets should come into Chechnya
- he was killed by a bomb
- they will kill you with your dodgy fatwa
- not every sheikh is sincere
- the Shaikh has just finished touring 12 African Countries
- when they know you are shaikh, they open their doors,
- they pamper you
- but not every shaikh is good, some are Kuffaar,
- they believe in democracy,
- some support the House of Saud, the UK, the US,
- the French Government
- but the Muslims are so naive when they hear
- you are a shaikh they open their arms

- many protested on his behalf
- you may be thinking: Sheikh Faisal do not be ungrateful in many ways
- the Kenyans demonstrated for your release
- he says the best protest is jihad
- but I tell you, not all sheikhs are good
- but he appreciates everyone's efforts
- a woman cannot be alone with a sheikh
- because he could rape you
- is he a Shaikh first or a man first
- people in the room differ about this
- if you ask a woman in her twenties she will say shaikh first

There are two types of Muslims, those who

1 - live by the deen
-and some ummah live BY the deen and live OFF it

2 – love off the deen

- the munafiqh lives off it; the Munafiqh live off the Deen
- a Munafiqh does not come into Islam whole-heartedly
- he will say What can Islam Do for Me
- he will never say : What Can I Do for Islam?
- The Shaikh saw some Munafiqhs in London;
- they came into Islam from Christianity
- some had two wives; some had three wives;
- they wanted to come into Islam because Polygamy is allowed
- and then they harass the rich Muslims for Zakah
- but if you ask them about Jihad they do not believe in it
- they do not believe in Jihad they believe in Polygamy!

They are Munafiqhs who do not live by the Deen they live off the Deen
- we have heard stories of the Sahabah to prove how sincere they were
