-54- Fiqh of Tahara (Purification)

Fiqh of Tahara (Purification)

By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal
(evening dars: 5.31.11)

THE CHAPTER OF WATER

The 7 types of Water

Water is what we use to perform our purification
1. the rain
2. the sea
3. The river water
4. The well
5. melted ice
6. melted hail
7. the spring water

--you’re allowed to use these 7 types of water to make your wudu and ghusl
--you’re allowed to use the seawater to perform wudu and ghusl
--wudu - minor ablution and ghusl is major ablution
--everything in the sea is halal to eat according to Ibn Hanbal
--the 7 types of water mentioned above are called, ‘pure water’
--because they are pure water, they are suitable for you to drink

“…because a Sahabah approached the Rasul and asked him about using the sea water for wudu and the Prophet said: "Every living thing in the sea is halal to eat (Hanbali fiqh), the water of the sea is halal to use for wudu and ghusl, and the fishes that died in the sea are also halal for you to eat"

“Two types of dead meat and two types of blood have been made lawful for our consumption: The two dead meats are: fish and locust, and the two types of blood are: liver and spleen.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Musnad Ahmad, 2/97 and Sunan Ibn Majah, no: 3314)

The water which is contaminated is called: mutanajjis = contaminated (from the word najis)

--example: remnants of a dog or a pig
--if a dog or a pig drank from the water, it is haraam for you to drink from that water
--the remnants of a cat are not contaminated - the Rasul said, “The cat is considered a clean animal"
--if there is an animal that has bled into the water, that water is now contaminated
--an animal that died in stagnant water is also contaminated

Abu Qatadah relates that Allah’s Messenger said regarding the cat: “It is not impure. It is one of those creatures that live in our attendance.”

--the remnants of a cat are not considered contaminated

--the remnants of a donkey are considered makrooh

THE CHAPTER OF ISTINJA

--Istinja = washing private parts w/ water
a) it is compulsory on a Muslim to ensure that the urine has ceased completely
b) it is unlawful to perform wudu until the urine has ceased

Ibn ‘Abbas related that the Messenger of God, upon him be God’s blessings and peace, passed by two graves and said: “They are being punished, but not for a great matter (on their part). One of them did not clean himself from urine, and the other used to spread slander.” (Tirmidhi, “Tahara,” 53)

c) we are obliged to perform istinja from any najasat that comes from urine or defecation

--so istinja (wash your private parts with water) is compulsory after urination and defecation

--it is Sunnah to wipe three times in istinja

d) it is Sunnah to wipe 3x when performing istinja
--during the old days, they would use stones
--it is permissible to still do this on the battlefield when you don’t have access to toilet tissue

e) the best istinja is combo of water and toilet tissue (use tissue first)

--istinja is compulsory on men and women

f) it is permissible to use only tissue if you are on a journey and you have no water
--but when you are at home and you have access to water, the tissue alone is not permissible
--a woman making istinja after defecation is different from that of a man
--example: it is haraam for her to wipe from back to front
--because then she'll be wiping impurities into her private parts
--therefore a woman has to wipe from front to back - it is fard (required)
--because of the anatomy of the women, to the best of her ability, she should try to use water at all times
--if she is going on a journey, she should prepare to bring water
--one should ensure that no foul smell is left on his or her body after istinja
--hence the aim and objective of istinja would not be accomplished (if foul smell remains)
--it is haraam to make istinja in front of each other
--the only person who is allowed to see your private parts is your wife/husband

WAXING:
--the woman who asks questions about waxing: 'can I go to the salon to wax my bikini line?'
--and any woman who asks this question has mischief in her heart
--the woman is not allowed to do this:
--only person who can shave her private parts is her husband or your mother
--a strange woman is not allowed to wax a woman’s bikini line
--if you’re married, your husband has to wax your bikini line,
--if you’re not married, then your mother can do it

“Do not pluck the gray hairs, as they are a Muslim’s light. A Muslim never grows gray in Islam except that God writes for him, due to that, a good deed, raises him a degree, and erases for him, due to that, one of his sins” (Ibn Hanbal, 2:179; Tirmidhi, “Adab,” 56).

Also, women are not allowed to sleep underneath the same blanket:

The Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallam has stated, "No man should lie down with another man wrapped in a single sheet or cloth and nor should a woman do the same with another woman."

--it is makrooh [disliked] to do istinja with bones because the bones are the food of the jinn

--when the jinn came to the Prophet, he recited Surah Ar-Rahman

The Prophet (peace and blessings of be upon him) says: “To put a barrier that will prevent the jinn from seeing the `awrah of the sons of Adam, let any one of you say ‘Bismillah’ when entering the toilet.” (Reported by at-Tirmidhi)

"The Prophet (saws) entered the toilet and I and a young boy like me carried materials, including water and 'anaza (a short spear) and he would perform Istinja' with the water." [al-Bukhari no.152 & Muslim no.271.]

Salman reported that it was said to him: Your Apostle (may peace be upon him) teaches you about everything, even about excrement. He replied: Yes, he has forbidden us to face the Qibla at the time of excretion or urination, or cleansing with right hand or with less than three pebbles, or with dung or bone. Muslim :: Book 2 Hadith 504

The Jinn came from Iraq and the Prophet recited unto them Surah Rahman; the jinn asked him about what food is permissible - the Prophet said: “any bones which Bismillah was recited, and also the droppings from our animals will be the food for your animals”

“Every bone on which the name of Allah is recited is your provision. The time it will fall in your hand it would be covered with flesh, and (you can have) all the droppings as food for your animals.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “So do not use (these things) for cleaning yourselves (after relieving oneself), for they are the food and provision of your brothers (Jinn).” (Reported by Muslim)

--the bones are the food for the jinn; it is makrooh to do istinja with bones

--it is makrooh to do istinja with baked bricks (humans use this to build homes)
--it is makrooh to do istinja with pottery
--it is makrooh to do istinja with items that are valuable
--it is makrooh to do istinja with items that can harm your private parts
--it is haraam to use your right hand when making istinja
--the way it is haraam for you to eat food with your left hand because the shaitan eats with his left hand

THE CHAPTER OF ANSWERING THE CALL OF NATURE

a) Outside a building, one should not face the qibla or to turn their back to the qibla

--but if your are on the toilet (inside a building) and you face the Qibla or your back is towards it, it’s halaal
--it is halaal because you are inside a building

It is related from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When you defecate, do not face the qibla nor turn your back to it. Rather face the west or the east." Abu Ayyub said, "We went to Syria and found lavatories which had been built facing the qibla. We turned at an angle and asked Allah's forgiveness”

b) one should not answer the call of nature under a tree that provides shade for the people or

c) a fruit tree (apple tree, mango tree, etc)
d) you should enter the toilet with your left foot and say,
--“Allah-umma inni a'udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba'ith”
--"O Allaah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers’"

Whenever the Prophet went to answer the call of nature, he used to say, "Allah-umma inni a'udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba'ith i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits)." Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 144

e) say the dua: “Allaahumma innii A'uudhu bika minal khubthi wal khabaa'ith“
--if you don’t recite this dua, the shaitan will look at your private parts
--the shaitan loves to look at the private parts of people

f) one should not speak when they are on the toilet; this is makrooh
--if someone gives you ‘salaam’ and you’re on the toilet:
--do not respond w/ “walikumsalaam”
--say nothing or clear your throat (to signal you can’t reply to them)
--it is makrooh to respond (makrooh means, dislike)

g) the toilet door should be secured with a lock to avoid embarrassment
h) it is makrooh to urinate in a ‘hole’ because it is the home of the jinn and animals
--when we say you’re not allowed to urinate in a ‘hole,’ we are referring to a STONE hole
--where the jinn live and animals live

"The prophet SAAWS said: avoid the two cursed things. They said: and what are the two cursed things? He SAAWS said: whoever urinate in the roads people pass by, and under the shadows where they rest" (Muslim: 269) and others.

i) Sunnah to stoop urinating
--it is Sunnah to stoop while urinating (for males and females)
--a man can stand up and urinate if he can avoid splashing himself with water

Aisha said: “Do not believe whoever told you that the Prophet used to urinate while standing. He never urinated except seated. (Muslim)

--there was a conflict with Aisha and Abu Huraira about the Prophet urinating

--Aisha said: Anyone who says the Rasul stood up and urinated is a liar
--Abu Huraira said: I saw the Rasul urinate while standing upon a dumpster
--both were telling the truth based on their experiences w/ the Rasool (saws)
--Aisha was just speaking on her knowledge, so she herself never saw the Rasul urinate standing

Huzaifah (Radiya Allahu Anhu) relates that "The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) went to a public garbage dump and urinated standing" [Reported by Imams Bukhari and Muslim ]

Abdullah b. Saris (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: the Messenger of Allah enjoined us from pissing into holes of insects. The commentators of the Quran asked Qatadah why it was rendered reprehensible. “Those places are said to be the homes of the jinn” he replied. (5)

j) Going into the toilet with a shirt that has ALLAH's name on it or you have money where there is ‘Quran’ written on it or if you have the holy Quran in your pocket – these are permissible

--there is a weak Hadith that says "the Prophet had a ring called Muhammad Rasul Allah and he would take off the ring before he would go to the toilet" (we say this is a weak Hadith)
--when you go the Arab countries, you'll find money with ALLAH's name upon the money
k) when you leave the toilet, leave with your right foot (you enter with the left foot)
--say 'Ghufraanak' [Allah, pardon me]

“Ghufraanak” ‘I seek your forgiveness’ (Abu Dawood #30 & ibn Maajah #300)

THE CHAPTER OF WUDU (Ablution)

In order for your wudu to be valid, 6 conditions have to be found
1) Sanity (wudu is not fard on the madman)
2) Puberty (conditions for the wudu become fard on you)

Puberty

The Prophet sallallahu alaihe wasallam commanded regarding children, " If they neglect salaah at the age of seven, then reprimand them, at the age of nine separate their beds (do not let two of them sleep in the same bed) and at the age of seventeen get them married. Once the father has carried this out he should place his child before him and say, ‘ May Allah not make you a cause for my testing and trial." (Al-Ifsah Ibn Hajr Haithami)

“Teach your children to pray when they are seven years old, and smack them if they do not pray when they are 10 years old, and separate them in their beds.” Abu Dawood (459) and Ahmad (6650)

3) Islam

--it is not fard on a kaafir to make wudu

4) Enough water to make wudu
--Tayammum (ablution with sand, dust or clean soil)
--if you don’t have water, wudu is not fard (make Tayammum)

5) You have to be ritually impure for wudu to be fard on you
--example: if you pass wind or you urinate or defecate or touch a woman out of lust
--if you touch her accidentally, you still have your wudu
--shaking a woman's hand negates your wudu

6) You have to be free from menses or from bleeding after childbirth

THE CHAPTER OF CONDITIONS FOR WUDU TO BE VALID

1. Use pure water for wudu
--contaminated water can be used to wash your car or to irrigate your crops, but not for wudu
--sea water is considered to be pure to make wudu or ghusl
--it is makrooh to use zam zam water for wudu or ghusl or to wash your car
--zam zam water is for drinking

"Sometime we may carry a little water with us in the ship while at sea; if we use the water we may get thirsty. Can we use the sea water for purification?" The Prophet said: "Its water is pure and its carrion is lawful" (Tirmidhi)

2. You have to be free from menstruation and nifaq

--the woman who makes wudu during those times, her wudu is bautil

3. You have to remove nail polish before you make wudu
Shaikh Faisal was told by his shaikhs that nail polish should be removed but
--they said if the woman has henna, this is okay because the water can penetrate henna
--the modernist and the secularist say that it’s okay to have nail polish on while you make wudu
--that is an incorrect opinion
--those of you who wear nail polish, you can only wear it when you are menstruating

4. You are not allowed to make wudu with tight rings and watches because

--the water needs to go underneath to wash your skin properly
--you have to rotate or remove the rings/watches

5. If you work as a painter, you have to avoid getting paint on your body
--you have to use a certain liquid to remove the paint from your body before you make wudu
--you have to paint wearing gloves and wearing a long shirt is better

THE CHAPTER OF HOW TO MAKE WUDU
1. Make your intention (niyyah)

"Verily the actions are by intention and there is for everyone only what he intended..." (Sahih - Fath-ul-Baaree and Muslim)

2. Say, ‘Bismillah’

"There is no wudu for him who does not mention Allah's name upon it." (Sahih - Ibn Maajah, At-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, and others)

Saying, “Bismillah” is fard (according to Hanbali Fiqh)

--according to the other 3 schools, the Bismillah is Sunnah not fard
--the correct opinion is that of the 3 schools
--even though Shaikh Faisal is Hanbali, Shaikh says the Hanbalis were too rigid on this matter
--the Hanbalis say if you didn’t say Bismillah, your wudu is bautil (this is not correct)

3. Wash your hands up to your wrist

Humran (RA) narrates that Uthman (RA) called for water to make wudu and washed his hands three times... then said, "I saw Rasoolullaah (SAW) make wudu just as I have made wudu." (Sahih - Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

4. Wash out your mouth 3 times (use your finger to brush out your teeth)

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "When you make wudu then wash your mouth." (Sahih - Al-Baihaqee)

5. Wash your nose by using your right hand to put the water into your nose
--using the left hand to blow the water out

"We were sitting looking towards Ali (RA) - as he made Wudu - and he entered into his mouth a handful of water with his right hand and washed his mouth and nose, then expelled it from his nose with his left hand - he did that three times, then said, 'Whoever would like to see the way of purification of Rasoolullaah (SAW) - then this is his purification.'" (Sahih - Ad-Daarimee)

6. Wash your entire face

Humran ibn Abaan (RA) narrates that Uthman (RA) called for water to make wudu and so mentioned the way in which the Prophet (SAW) made wudu. Humran (RA) said, "Then he washed his face three times." (Sahih - Al-Bukhari, Muslim)

7. Wash your right hand including the elbow
--so if you did not include your elbow, you have no wudu

Nu'aim ibn Mijmar (RA) said, "I saw Abu Hurairah make wudu - he washed his face and completed the wudu, then washed his right hand until he reached the upper arm, then his left hand till he reached the upper arm" - then in the end of the Hadith he said: "This is how I saw Rasoolullaah (SAW) make wudu.'" (Sahih - Muslim)

8. Wash your left hand including your elbow
9. Wipe your head once, including your 2 ears : the Rasul said :'your 2 ears are apart of your head "

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "The two ears are a part of the head." (Sahih - At-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, and Ibn Maajah)

--Hanbali fiqh: sisters can wipe over their hijab and don’t need to wipe their ears

--Hanafi fiqh says sisters must wipe their ears: this is not correct opinion

10. Wash the right foot

11. Wash the left foot
--and you should use your left hand to wash both feet
--as for wiping the neck (nape) in wudu, Hanafi fiqh says this is a bid’ah

There is a Hadith in Abu Dawud that says the Rasul used to wipe the back of his neck (nape) but this is a weak Hadith (the Hanafis follow this, but the Hanbalis say this is a bid'ah – to wipe the back of the neck, the nape)
--don’t start an argument if you see Hanafis wiping their necks at the masjid
--there's no harm to wipe over the neck (requiring it as wudu, however, is a bidah)

THE CHAPTER ON THE MAKROOH OF WUDU
1. to waste the water
2. to speak dunya matters during the wudu (if you speak about deen, it is not makrooh)
3. to seek the assistance of others without the need for it

-- the Shias do not wash their feet when they make wudu
--they dampen their hands and wipe over the naked skin
--this wudu is bautil because when the Rasul saw a man making wudu and that man had a spot the size of a coin left dry on his feet, the Prophet made the man repeat the wudu and the Rasul said: "save your heels from the Hellfire"

Ibn Umar (RA) said, "Rasoolullaah (SAW) fell behind us and then came upon us during a journey, then we found him and it was time for 'Asr - so we began to make Wudu and wipe over our feet, so he (SAW) called out at the top of his voice, 'Woe to the ankles from the Fire. (two or three times)'" (Sahih - Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

--many people translate it as "save your ANKLES from the hellfire" -- this is wrong translation
--based upon the Hadith found in Bukhari and Muslim, the wudu of the Shia is bautil because they don’t wash their feet, they just damp their hands and wipe over the naked skin

THE CHAPTER OF WHAT NULLIFIES YOUR WUDU

1. Pass wind (gas) from your anus
--a woman passing gas from her vagina does not break her wudu
2. Urination
3. Defecation
4. Vomiting more than a mouthful
5. Giving birth
6. Sleeping (while lying down)

Shaikh Faisal was told by his Shaikhs that some Sahabahs were in the masjid and they were sleeping sitting down and their snoring could be heard - when the Iqamat was called, they got up and prayed and they did not renew their wudu

“I have seen the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sleeping to the tent that one could hear some of them snoring. But, they would stand for Prayer without a new ablution." At-Tirmidhi

Your wudu is broken when you sleep lying down, not when sitting down
--because when you sleep sitting down, it is difficult to pass wind

7. When you are intoxicated
8. Falling down unconscious (example: this includes epileptic seizures, which are also called, ‘fits’)
9. Apostasy
--when you return to Islam, you have to make ghusl

10. Touching your own private parts lustfully

"Whoever touches his sexual organ cannot pray until he performs ablution." (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

11. Touching a member of the opposite sex lustfully
12. Eating camel meat
--according to Abu Hanifa, Malik, and Shafi - eating camel meat does not break wudu
--but the correct opinion is: Hanbali fiqh - eating camel meat breaks wudu

"Perform ablution after eating camel meat, and do not perform ablution after eating goat." [At Tirmidhi no.21 and Abu Dawud No.184]

We say to the Hanafis, Maliki, and Shafiis: 'we have nothing to lose when we make wudu after eating camel meat, but maybe ALLAH will ask you why you didn’t make wudu after you ate camel meat ?" They all to lose.

According to Abu Hanifa, laughing/giggling breaks wudu and salah

We, the Hanbalis, say ‘we beg to differ, because there is no hujjah (evidence) for that fatwa’

According to Abu Hanifa, if you pray behind an imam who himself has no wudu, you (yourself) have no

Salah, as well as the imam (for example if he passes wind) but Hanbalis beg to differ because when Umar was the caliph, he led Fajr salah and he was in a state of janaba (wet dream) but he didn’t realize it so his salah was bautil for him but not for the Muslims; Umar didn’t tell them to repeat their salah, but he repeated his

--their salah was Sahih

--the Hanafis say Umar and the Ummah’s salah would be bautil: we, the Hanbalis, beg to differ.

-53- The Killers of the Prophets

Tafseer Surah Baqarah: The Killers of the Prophets

By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

(morning dars: 5.31.11)

The previous books before the Quran has been corrupted

The only book that cannot be tampered with is the Qur'an

Have you ever met a hafiz of the torah? Zaboor? No, only the Quran

***only the Quran has been memorized by hafiz

The only hafiz we have is the hafiz of the Quran: the greatest miracle of Muhammad saw

The Quran is revealed in a rhythmic form, hence why it is easy to memorize.

Who is more evil, the man who tampers with an altered cheque?

Or the man who tampers with the Qur'an?

Prophet Muhammad saw said the worst man on Judgment Day is the man:
--who was killed by a prophet or tried to kill a prophet

Allah said the yahood changed kalamullah (torah) and they wrote their own book:
--Talmud and preferred their book over the Torah
--The Talmud is the tafseer of the Torah

Shaytan was the first rationalist

Al-Baqarah 2:75 Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will believe in your religion in spite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah [the Taurat (Torah)], and then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?

The worst con artist is not the one who cons you out of your money but

--the one who cons you of your deen
--because they put your hereafter in jeopardy

YOU CANNOT BLIND FOLLOW IN AQEEDAH ISSUES!!!!

Do not follow a wicked scholar and expect Allah to let you off
--because Allah give you your own Aql (intellect)
--He (swt) gave you a brain, so use it!
--if you don’t use your brain, you are no longer a human being
--you have lost your status and are now classified as a beast

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allâh are the deaf and the dumb, who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers) (Al-Anfal 22)

You are classified as the worst of beasts!

Do not come on the Day of Judgment and blame your parent for being a Christian, Hindu
--or any other religion: Allah (tala) gave you aql:
--Shaikh was only 16 when he realized Christianity was wrong!!!!
--don’t blame your parents, Allah gave you a brain!

Or lest you should say: "It was only our fathers a foretime who took others as partners in worship along with Allâh, and we were (merely their) descendants after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practised Al-Bâtil (i.e. polytheism and committing crimes and sins, invoking and worshipping others besides Allâh)?" (Tafsir At-Tabarî) (Al-Araf 173)

Allah says, “Don’t use ignorance as an excuse as I won’t accept it!”

--the worst human being is the wicked scholar!
--Nabi (saw) said, “My biggest fear is the wicked scholars of the ummah”
--when you hear the priests preach god has a son, why don’t you use your aql?
--question them, “How could God bare a son?”
--Prophet Muhammad (saws) said, "A believer is not bitten in the same hole twice"

The Prophet said: ‘A believer is not stung from the same hole twice.’(Sahîh Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim)

The wise man learns from his mistakes, but the man who is wiser:
--learns from the mistake of others, so he don’t make the same mistakes
--you cannot change the Quran
--because they can’t change Quran they try to give dodgy fatwas
--according to the Shia, the cow in Surah al Baqarah is Aisha (ra)

And (remember) when Mûsa (Moses) said to his people: "Verily, Allâh commands you that you slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you make fun of us?" He said, "I take Allâh's Refuge from being among Al-Jâhilûn (the ignorant or the foolish)." (Al-Baqarah 67)

Shias tafseer - When Allah says 'he frowned' they say “he” is Abu Jahl not Muhammad (saw)

And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted (standard of) character. (4)
Al-Haaqqa 68:4

Allah says, “Muhammad is at the peak of good character”

--Shia say how can Muhammad (saws) frown?
--you cannot corrupt the Quran it is impossible

Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption) Al-Hijr 15:9

The hypocrites cannot change the Quran so they try to give dodgy tafseer of the Holy Quran

The Jews change the kalam Allah
--the Prophet Muhammad (saw) said the Muslims will follow the Jews, inch by inch step by step

--you will find people trying to change Islam
--“There’s no need to do jihad, let’s just vote!”
-- a fatwa of hypocrites: you’re allowed to join the kaafir army and kill the mujahideen

--to dismantle the laws of Allah is a minor offense" - the fatwa of dodgy scholars

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allâh: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allâh and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Tâghût (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell¬fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Maida 60)

They can’t get away with these fatwas because the Prophet Muhammad (saws) said:
--“My ummah will never be united upon an error"
--All these scholars who pass these dodgy scholars will be refuted and exposed

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allâh, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Tâghût (Satan,). So fight you against the friends of Shaitân (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitân (Satan). (An-Nisa 76)

This is the ayah which is used by the sincere scholars to refute the people who believe they can join the kufr army (the army of taghoot)

A person who becomes a wicked scholar only lives for the dunya

Nay, you prefer the life of this world, (16) Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (17) (Al-Ala 87:16-17)

A scholar is able to go to the gates of the leader if they are judging by the Shariah

One of the scholars beside Umar was Ali (ra)
--Umar said "What if I forget something?"

When Umar (ra) was caliph, a woman committed adultery, he was going to stone her to death.

--Ali interfered and stopped

--when Umar was a caliph, a woman had an affair, Umar was going to stone her to death, Ali stopped him, and set her free. then Ali went to the office of Umar and said "how can you stone a mad woman to death because nabi saw said the pen is lifted for 3:

1) mad person
2) sleeping man
3) the child

There is a difference between the wicked scholar and the sinful scholar
1) sinful scholar - has a secret girlfriend
2) the wicked scholar - tries to change Islam - is a kaafir

Ibn Taymiyyah used to make takfir on the wicked scholars

The pen is lifted from three (i.e., their deeds are not recorded): the sleeper until he awakes, the child until he grows up, and the insane until he regains his sanity or regains consciousness.” This was narrated by the authors of Sunan and classed as Saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Irwa’, No. 297

FATWA 35/373 "A scholar who abandons what has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter " Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373

“What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, never leaving me. Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey.’ Ibn Taymiyyah

Another reason for wicked scholars is because the ummah forces them to give dodgy fatwas.

-52- The Etiquettes of Asking Questions

The Etiquettes of Asking Questions
By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

(evening dars: 5.31.11)

The reason why this topic was prepared is that: Questions can cause fitnah
-- many people do not know the proper adab of asking questions

O you who believe! Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. (Al-Ma'idah 5:101)

-- the Companions of Muhammad (salah Allahu alayhe wasalam) were pious
-- and they genuinely wanted to seek knowledge

They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning alcoholic drink and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin, and (some) benefit for men, but the sin of them is greater than their benefit." (Al-Baqarah 2:219)

And they ask you concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing is to work honestly in their property, and if you mix your affairs with theirs, then they are your brothers. And Allâh knows him who means mischief (e.g. to swallow their property) from him who means good (e.g. to save their property). And if Allâh had wished, He could have put you into difficulties. Truly, Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise." (Al-Baqarah 2:220)

-- whenever you have orphans in your midst, it is easy to rob and oppress him
-- as they have no family to back him/her up
-- stay away from the major sins
-- robbing the orphan is one of the major sins

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill treated. I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Garden like that," indicating his two fingers. [Bukhari]

-- when you look after orphans it means you are a good Muslim.
-- some Muslims will not marry widows and look after her children
-- some of the Muslims have picky parents, they will not allow their sons to marry a widow
-- Umm Salama was a widow, so if the Rasool (saws) married a widow, it is Sunnah to do so
-- there are sisters who are members of the room, they are widows, with children
-- and they complain that no-one will marry them
-- didn’t you know that Umm Salamah was a widow, why cant you follow the sunnah in this regard
-- Allah told you in Surah Balad 90:13-18

(It is) to free a slave, (13) And to feed in the day of hunger. (14) An orphan near of kin, (15) Or some poor wretch in misery, (16) And to be of those who believe and exhort one another to perseverance and exhort one another to pity. (17) Their place will be on the right hand. (Surah Balad 90:18)

-- The miskeen is so poor that he cannot find food...
-- don’t be like Mother Teresa who fed thousands of people in her life time
-- but died as a mushrik/kaafir

The Companions used to approach the Rasool for ilm (knowledge)

They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. Truly Allah loveth those who turn unto Him, and loveth those who have a care for cleanness. (Al-Baqarah 2:222)

-- the people of the right hand means : the people of paradise (90:13-18)
-- they wanted to know if they were meant to have the same attitude of the Jews,
-- with regards to their wives during menstruation
-- they used to ask about all kinds of things..
-- the wives of the Rasool used to cook the food of the Rasool while menstruating

Muhammad used to kiss and suck Aisha's tongue while they were fasting (Sunaan Abu Dawud, 13.2380)

-- Menstruating women can even READ the QURAN
-- women are allowed to touch the Quran while menstruating : 56:79
-- Menstruating women can make Hajj
-- all rituals are compulsory upon them except the tawaf

Which (that Book with Allâh) none can touch but the purified (i.e. angels) (Al-Waqia 79)

They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning alcoholic drink and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin, and (some) benefit for men, but the sin of them is greater than their benefit." (Al-Baqarah 2:219)

Upon the world and the Hereafter. And they question thee concerning orphans. Say: To improve their lot is best. And if ye mingle your affairs with theirs, then (they are) your brothers. Allah knoweth him who spoileth from him who improveth. Had Allah willed He could have overburdened you. Allah is Mighty, Wise. (Al-Baqarah 220)

We set out with the Prophet for Hajj and when we reached Sarif I got my menses. When the Prophet came to me, I was weeping. He asked, "Why are you weeping?" I said, "I wish if I had not performed Hajj this year." He asked, "May be that you got your menses?" I replied, "Yes." He then said, "This is the thing which Allah has ordained for all the daughters of Adam. So do what all the pilgrims do except that you do not perform the tawaf round the Ka'ba till you are clean." Bukhari Volume 1, Book 6, Number 302

-- you should ask questions because you only want knowledge and you are sincere
-- some people ask you questions to challenge you
-- the Jews approached the Rasool and asked:
-- what will be the first food for the people who enter the paradise
-- the Rasool said, the meat of the whale

Narrated Anas: When the news of the arrival of the Prophet at Medina reached 'Abdullah bin Salam, he went to him to ask him about certain things, He said, "I am going to ask you about three things which only a Prophet can answer: What is the first sign of The Hour? What is the first food which the people of Paradise will eat? Why does a child attract the similarity to his father or to his mother?"

-- they asked him about the soul:
-- Not all questions have good intentions

The Prophet replied, "Gabriel has just now informed me of that." Ibn Salam said, "He (i.e. Gabriel) is the enemy of the Jews amongst the angels. The Prophet said, "As for the first sign of The Hour, it will be a fire that will collect the people from the East to the West. As for the first meal which the people of Paradise will eat, it will be the caudate (extra) lobe of the fish-liver.

And they ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit): is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." (Al Isra 17:85)

-- Some question are for a challenge
-- why did they ask him about the soul (Ruh) : they asked him to challenge him

From Jaabir (radiyallaahu 'anhu) who said that Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'aliahi wa'sallam) said: Do not acquire knowledge in order to compete with the scholars, nor to argue with the ignorant, nor to gain mastery over the gatherings. Since whoever does that, then: The Fire! The Fire

-- You are not Allowed to ask a scholar a question as to challenge him
-- they ask questions to give you an impossible task ..

The people of the Scripture (Jews) ask you to cause a book to descend upon them from heaven. Indeed they asked Mûsa (Moses) for even greater than that, when they said: "Show us Allâh in public," but they were struck with thunderclap and lightning for their wickedness. Then they worshipped the calf even after clear proofs, evidences, and signs had come to them. (Even) so We forgave them. And We gave Mûsa (Moses) a clear proof of authority. (An-Nisa 153)

-- The kuffar of Qureshi, thought they would give the Rasool an impossible task
-- they approached the Rasool and said "if you are a real prophet, why cant you make the moon split"?
-- the people approached Saleh, and asked for a miracle : Allah gave them the she camel
-- they complained that the camel was drinking too much water
-- Story is found in Surah Shams 91

‘Whoever seeks knowledge in order to argue with foolish people, or to compete with people of knowledge, or to turn people’s faces towards him, then Allah (SWT) will put him in the Fire’(At-Tirmidhi 265)

-- they thought that the task was an impossible one, but it backfired on them
-- they saw the she-camel come out of a rock in front of their eyes

Al-Qamar In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (1) Surah Qamar 54

And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (2)

-- when a person wants to be a kaafir, he will find a million excuses remaining a kaafir
-- the kaafirs of Makkah, thought that by asking Muhammed for this impossible task
-- they would checkmate him, but again it backfired on the kuffar ..

It was Narrated by Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): “The people of Mecca asked Allah’s Apostle to show them a miracle. So he showed them the moon split in two halves between which they saw the Hiram’ mountain. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 208)

-- a man asks questions to strike up a conversation with a beautiful woman :
-- he has the time on his cell phone, yet he will still ask the woman the time

And when you ask (his wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen that is purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And it is not (right) for you that you should annoy Allâh's Messenger, nor that you should ever marry his wives after him (his death). Verily! With Allâh that shall be an enormity. (Al-Ahzab 33:53)

-- you are not supposed to use a question to familiarize yourself with a person of the opposite sex
-- Madinah had a lot of Munafiqoon
-- Not everyone in Medina were true MUSLIMS
-- the munafiqeen used to go to the Muslim women .. and ask them for s-x

Al-Ahzab O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e.screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allâh is Ever Oft¬Forgiving, Most Merciful (59)

Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: 'Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces." (Bukhari Book #60, Hadith #282)

-- some black kaafirs like to harass Muslim women pulling hijab from their heads
-- white kaafirs are worse because they ban the hijab itself
-- Surah 33:59 was used to checkmate the hypocrites
-- some times the question is rhetorical : they don’t expect the answer or need the answer

Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth. " They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allâh spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! (An-Nisa 4:97)

-- the angels know that the earth WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH : so this is a RHETORICAL question
-- you love the dunya : you cannot make hijrah
-- The kuffar in Muslim countries are very oppressive to the MUSLIMS
-- the apostate regime is worse than the original kaafir regime ..
-- Rasool (saws), said, “I am innocent of the Muslims who live amongst the kuffar”
-- when they stop you from praying jummah, wearing hijab: it is fardhul ayn on you to make hijrah

I am free of every Muslim who lives among the Mushrikeen." We asked, "Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Their fires should not be visible to one another." (Abu Daud)

If you are in a country where you cannot practice your DEAN,
---then it becomes Fard-Ayn for you to make Hijrah

Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask:
-- "Did no warner come to you?" (Al-Mulk 67:8)
-- another ex. of rhetorical question Mulk 67:8
-- zabaniyah are angels who are responsible for dumping the kuffar in the hell fire only 19 angels

Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" (Al-Mulk 67:8)

-- didn’t you have a Muslim at high school, neighbour, co-worker.. didn’t they invite you to Islam?
-- the kuffar admit , if only we had used our aql (intelligence) and listened

And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Quran is the truth as it agrees with their Books (Al-Muddaththir 74:31)

What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth; and none can know the forces of thy Lord except He, and this is no other than a warning to mankind. (Al-Muddaththir 31)

-- the angel Gabriel taught Muhammed to recite the Quran :
-- the prophet was filled with zeal to learn the Quran

Al-Qiyama Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. (16) It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: (17) But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): (18) Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): (19)

-- the angels know about the zeal of the prophets ..
-- Yunus was in the belly of the whale and was reciting :
-- laa ilaha ila Anta... subhanaka ini kuntu mina dhalimeen
-- The angels interceded for Yunus
-- the angels begged Allah to give Yunus a second chance
-- No body is allowed to say they are better than Yunus
-- the Munafiqoon like to ask questions (and this exposes their nifaq)
-- you can tell a person is a munafiqh, by the questions a person asks
-- a man came to Hasan al Basri : asking about the fitnah of Mu’awiyah and Ali

The Prophet said, "Nobody has the rights to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta." Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 154

-- the answer was : Surah Baqarah 2:134

Al-Baqara That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do (134)

-- that nation has already passed away :
-- they shall reap what they sow and you shall reap what they sow and
-- you shall not be asked about them on the day of judgment
-- did you know that a munafiqh asks questions that only Allah knows,

They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allâh (Alone) but most of mankind know not." (Al-Araf 187)

-- Munafiqh like to ask question that only Allah Ta'Ala can answer
-- man came to the study circle of Imam Malik : he asked how is Allah on the Arsh :
-- Imam Malik replied , ON IS KNOWN : HOW IS UNKNOWN :
-- TO BELIEVE IS WAAJIB : AND TO QUESTION IT IS BIDA'A
-- Imam milk kicked a man out of his study circle
-- I don’t see you as anything but a trouble maker, and kicked him out of his study circle :
-- because cancer is like nifaq : it is contagious

Imam Malik
-- some people like to ask questions that only Allah can answer
-- a munafiqh thinks he is clever

Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, and you should have known them by their marks; but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech! And Allâh knows (all) your deeds. (Muhammad 30)

-- did you know that you can tell if a person is a fool by the question he is asking
-- a man came and sat in front of Abu Hanifah, he (was well dressed) looked like a dignitary of the city. the man asked Abu Hanifah a stupid ridiculous question: Abu Hanifah said, "at last abu Hanifah gets to stretch out his leg again"

-- the man asked if he could make hajj in Ramadan !
-- some questions are asked to "de-bunk" your opponent

Luqman And if you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth," they will certainly say: "Allâh." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allâh!" But most of them know not. (25) This is the creation of Allâh. So show Me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created. Nay, the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong¬doers and those who do not believe in the Oneness of Allâh) are in plain error. (Luqman 31:11)

-- these idols are created By Allah. they cannot create anything! these questions are to debunk the idol worshipper

A questioner questioned concerning the doom about to fall (1) Upon the disbelievers, which none can repel, (2) Surah (Al-Maarij 70:2)

-- some questions are asked out of anxiety
-- they are indulging in haraam and it bothers them , so they ask:
-- they are indulging in haraam and it bothers them , so they ask,
-- if I drink/commit zina/ commit many sins, "can I go to paradise"
-- a man might have a brother who committed suicide, he will ask about this as he is anxious..
-- sometimes the kuffar realize that Islam is the truth

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur'ân and Prophet Muhammad (SAW)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. Al-Bayyina

-- a kaafir realizes that Islam is the truth,,.. so he asks you .. if I hold on the my kufr, can I go to paradise, Allah did not sugar coat the truth, you must also deliver the truth

IT IS HARAAM TO ASK INQUISITIVE QUESTIONS

-- asking about your (Muslim) brothers wife, was she a virgin..

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : The messenger of Allah said Part of someone's being a good Muslim is his leaving alone that which does not concern him. Hadith Nawawi No. 12

-- a sister rang shaikh when he was in UK.. the brother asked questions that she thought were inappropriate : he asked about her underwear size
-- a sister asked about the size of the brothers genitalia:
-- shaikh was told at university : a woman can divorce her husband if his genitalia is too short !
-- be prepared to answer questions if you have proposed to a sister:
-- she will ask all the questions she can!!
-- it is her right to know what situation (what kind of man she will be marrying) she is getting into

Prophet Muhammad said: “Who protects his tongue from unlawful utterances and his private parts from illegal sexual intercourse, I shall guarantee him entrance into Paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

-- the Rasool said, the promises... that you are to keep the most are the ones regarding marriage
-- you are allowed to ask a question EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW THE ANSWER
-- it is Halal
-- if you come to a room like this one : and you know that a Shia is in the room
-- you can ask a question like "did Aisha commit adultery" :: "is the Quran corrupted"
-- if you know there is someone who needs to know the aqeedah of ASWJ.
-- you can ask a question to educate that person
-- you have asked the shaikh to provide you evidence from Quran, sunnah and the classical scholars

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allâh: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allâh and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Tâghût (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hellfire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Al-Maida 60)

-- we say to them :
--Are you saying that Allah was over reacting when He turned the Jews into apes and swine

Ibn Taymiyyah said: And it is known from the religion (of Islam) by necessity and by the consensus of all Muslims that whoever legalizes to follow other than the religion of Islam or a Sharia other than the Sharia of Muhammad (SAW), he is a Kaafir. And his kufr is similar to that of the one who believes in some part of the book (Quran) and reject some of it. Majmua Al-Fataawa: Vol 28, p. 524

And his kufr is similar to that of the one who believes in some part of the book (Quran) and reject some of it. Majmua Al-Fataawa: Vol 28, p. 524.

-- no one quotes from Ibn Taymiyyah more than a Saudi Salafi, [yet they seem to skip this fatwa somehow ? ]
-- the stench of your hypocrisy is excruciating, obnoxious, untenable, repugnant !
-- the angel came to the Rasool and asked 5 questions: what is Islam : eeman : ihsan : judgment day : signs before judgment day

1) What is Islam 2) What is eeman 3) What is ihsan 4) When is the Day of Judgment 5) What are the signs for it

Umar said we have never seen the man before , the prophet said that the angel Gabriel had come to teach you your deen : when the prophet provided the answers to these questions : he was teaching the Muslims

Some people ask incriminating questions
-- mi5 questions like, are we allowed to rob a bank in daar al harb/kufr
-- IT IS HARAAM TO ASK EXCESSIVE QUESTIONS
-- Not every questioner is Sincere
-- don’t be like the Jews: a man killed another, Musa informed them : Allah told them to sacrifice a cow so this would bring the murdered man back to life so he could reveal his killer

-- Jews have a record of being rebellious to Allah’s Hakimiyya
-- the Rasool said, that had those Jews gone and scarified any cow.. Allah would have accepted it
-- the Rasool said : Allah didn’t reveal some of His names
-- sometimes a person asks a question to wake you up
-- some people ask a question to wake you up

Whither then go ye? (At-Takwir 81:26)

-- fa ayna tadhaboon ? where are you going /
-- wont you think / reflect / ponder / contemplate

Then where are you going? (At-Takwir 26)

Do they not then consider the Qur'ân carefully? Had it been from other than Allâh, they would surely have found therein many contradictions. (An-Nisa 82)

-51- Islam Survived 3 Days

Tafseer Surah Baqarah: Islam Survived 3 Days
By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal
(morning dars 5.30.11)

In the last lesson, we stopped at Surah Baqarah 2:75

Have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the word of Allah then used to change it, after they had understood it, knowingly? (Al-Baqarah 2:75)

-- if you write a cheque to a man $100 and the person put an extra zero,

-- to make it $1000.... what a con artist!
-- but the worst con artist is the one who cons you about your deen

The worst con artist is the one who lies about Allah

And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allâh, while he is being invited to Islâm? And Allâh guides not the people who are Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers) folk. (As-Saff 61:7)

-- You are not allowed to fabricate lies against Allah
-- fawahish = shameful sexual intercourse

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al¬ Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allâh for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allâh of which you have no knowledge." (Al-A'raf 7:33)

-- there are 2 types of intercourse: halal and haraam
-- every time you go to bed with your husband / wife - you get barakah (hasanaat- good deeds)

-- there is a place in New York called 42nd Street (people do unlawful sexual intercourse openly there)

Shaikh in Nigeria: was asked a question. He replied, "I don’t know"

-- HALF OF KNOWLEDGE IS TO SAY "I DONT KNOW"
-- when you speak with out knowledge is to lie on Allah
-- don’t do dhann = guessing
-- it is haraam to guess at that which Allah has made halal or haraam

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H): “Whenever a person makes halal what is haraam by consensus or makes haraam what is halal by consensus or replaces the Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the scholars of Fiqh.” – “Al-Fataawa” Vol. 3/267

Ibn Taymiyyah used to make takfir on the wicked scholars...

-- the wicked scholars of today are having "a honey moon" but
-- THAT WAS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE
-- the Jewish rabbis who changed the Words of Allah:
-- the elders of Zion wrote a book called The Talmud
-- they said this book was better than the book of Allah

ISLAM IS A SLEEPING LION: it is incumbent upon the scholars to "wake up the lion”: the kuffar are intent on killing the scholars who want to wake up the sleeping lion (ISLAM)

-- they put the wicked scholars on their payroll: to stop them from waking up the Muslims

-- so these scholars can not give tafseers of Tauba. al Bayyinah etc.
-- as the kuffar say they are politically incorrect
-- Surah Tauba does not have bismillaahi rahmani raheem at the beginning:
-- the scholars have said this is because it is about JIHAD
-- the kuffar are trying to turn the ummah from lions to goats
-- when you want to keep a lion from harming you: give it tranquilizers
-- this lion is ISLAM: the kuffar need to tranquilize the Muslims
-- trying to get us to turn from lions into goats
-- if they do not do this, they will rise up and get rid of "kufrdom"
-- this is the system of the Dajjal: so everything that is haraam they make it halal

The Prophet said, 'The time of the Dajjal will be years of confusion. People will believe a liar, and disbelieve one who tells the truth. (Ahmad)

Shaikh in Capetown, South Africa:
-- Ihsan Hendrix came on radio and said that Islam allows homosexuality
-- the wicked scholars make up their own Islam
-- they believe in interfaith dialogue with the kuffar
-- to get rid of differences between the religions

In the time of the Rasool, they had 2 study circles: the study circle of the prophet and the study circle of the Jewish rabbis.

If you are convinced that Muhammad is Rasool,
-- why do you need to go to the study circle of the Jews / Shia / Christians
?

-- the munafiqeen of Madinah used to sit in the study circle of Muhammad and the Jews and carry

news backward and forward

And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only. (11) Beware ! They indeed are the mischief-makers. But they perceive not. (12) Al-Baqarah 11, 12

-- why carry news? TO SPREAD FITNAH
-- why do you go to 2 study circles ? YOU HAVE NOT YET FOUND ISLAM !!

WICKED SCHOLARS:

The wicked scholar chooses to be a wicked scholar because he is terrified about the
reprisals of the kuffar
-- not every one can handle prison (even wicked scholars)
-- the ummah is so weak WE CANNOT PROTECT OUR SCHOLARS !

-- the wicked scholar fears rotting in jail

-- if you live in countries like Libya, Syria, and Jordan and you open your mouth and speak the truth..
-- you will be locked up in jail and never see day light again
-- they will take your wife / son / daughter and rape them in front of you

A person becomes a wicked scholar because he has a weak personality

-- what should you do if you live in these countries?
-- you have to be like the scholar in Surah Burooj:
-- he realized he cannot change things so he went and lived in a cave: cut himself off
-- this king killed kids, dug ditches and burnt them alive
-- the scholar went and lived in a cave: cut himself off. Why?
-- he didn’t want to pass fatwas for that wicked king!
-- the scholars cement the thrones for the rulers
-- when a scholar drinks alcohol, it is worse than the layman

YOUR SINS WILL CAUSE YOU TO LOSE YOUR MORAL AUTHORITY

-- the scholar [righteous] didn’t go to the palace of the king

-- he hid himself in a cave because he didn’t want to be held responsible for this on Judgment Day

-- Mu’awiyah was a king, he had scholars with him, but they enjoined good and forbade evil

-- they conquered a lot of North Africa and they took a beautiful girl for none but the caliph, Mu’awiyah
-- Mu’awiyah said, ‘She is too young for me, give her to my son, Yazid’
-- the scholar said no, that girl is haraam for Yazid, as you are his father and you saw her leg!
-- Mu’awiyah accepted this fatwa and she was given to another

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibrahim ibn Abi Abla from Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan that he gave a slave-girl to a friend of his, and later asked him about her. He said, "I intended to give her to my son to do such-and-such with her." Abd al-Malik said, "Marwan was more scrupulous than you. He gave a slave-girl to his son, and then he said, 'Do not go near her, for I have seen her leg uncovered.'” Narrated From Imam Malik's Muwatta Hadith No. 38

Umar’s example:
-- Umar surrounded himself with scholars; the people were drinking alcohol
-- they were given 40 lashes; the scholars and Umar increased the lashing to 80
-- the caliphs who were sincere always surrounded themselves with scholars
-- so they would be reminded how to implement the Shariah properly

When Umar was caliph, an insane woman, who had an affair (she was pregnant)
-- she was brought to Umar and she was so frightened of him, she had a miscarriage
-- Ali said for Umar to only pay the woman 5 camels (some responsibility for the miscarriage)
-- Umar said if it wasn’t for Ali, I would have been destroyed
-- Ali had mercy
-- Shariah has mercy
-- the leaders of today, do not surround themselves with scholars, they dump them in prison
-- when the cancer of Khawarijj befell upon the ummah, Ali sent ibn Abbaas to debate and give them
the hujjah

Abu Zubyan said: A woman who had committed adultery was brought to Umar. He gave orders that she should be stoned. Ali passed by just then. He seized her and let her go. Umar was informed of it. He said: Ask Ali to come to me. Ali came to him and said: Commander of the Faithful, you know that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Commander of the Faithful, you know that the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: There are three (people) whose actions are not recorded: A boy till he reaches puberty, a sleeper till he awakes, a lunatic till he is restored to reason. [Abu Dawood #4388, Narrated Ali ibn Abu Talib]

SHIITE BELIEF:
Mullah Baqir writes: 'One should say after each prayer: O Allaah! Curse Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthmaan, Mu'awiyah, Aa'ishah, Hafsah, Hind and Ummul Hakam. (Aynul Hayat: 599)

Wherever the Quran mentions "Rab" (meaning Lord/God), according to this Shia book, that word should be substituted with Imam Ali's name. (Jila-ul-A'yoon, Vol. 2, p. 66) The present Quran is in an altered, corrupted and distorted form.. (Fatuhat-e-Shia, p. 129)

-- we use this Hadith to checkmate the Shiites, as the Shia believe that Ali should have been the caliph

At Ghadeer Qum (a well outside Madinah), the Rasool gave a speech:
-- “If I am your wali, Ali is my wali”
-- we say to the Shiites, Ali had a very strong personality: he always stood up to Umar

-- if Ali knew that he was supposed to be the rightful successor of the prophet: Why then did he give his bayyah to Abu Bakr? He wasn’t forced to give it

-- Shia claim that that they follow ahlul bayt (Ali) : if you follow Ali, you have to do what Ali did
-- he gave his bayyah to Abu Bakr and Umar, and he DID NOT FIGHT THEM
-- the sincere caliph who feared Allah, surrounded themselves with great scholars

LIBYA:
-- when the uprising started in Libya, (Saif al Islam, the son of Ghadaffi) called Aa'id al Qarnee, of Saudi Arabia, asking for a fatwa so the Libyans wouldn’t protest against Ghadaffi

-- the Libyan scholars were mostly dumped in prison and left to rot or they are munafiqeen / murji

Prophet (saws) said topple the leader if you see clear kufr [Bukhari Vol 9 Page 146]

-- they were just in hiding ..
-- the scholars have said it is fardh al ayn to topple Ghadaffi even Qaradawi
-- we are licking our wounds from the fatwas passed by the Saudi Salafi scholars
-- they say: it is halal to have U.S. army in Saudi Arabia... to kill millions of innocent Iraqis

3 sets of people worship their scholars

a) the Goofi Soofis
b) Saudi Salafis
c) shady Shiites

-- a scholar for them cannot make a mistake : they think their scholar is infallible (Audhubillah)
-- the Goofi Soofis lock doors with women/girls, and tamper with them (sexually) they say this is part
of the dhikr

-- to checkmate those who say we must SWALLOW what the Scholar says:
-- shut up and do not ask any question:

SHIA BELIEF RE: IMAMS - It is a fundamental principle of faith that our (Shia) Imams have ranks higher than the ranks of angels & God's prophets. (Khomeini's book, Hukuma Islamiya, p. 52)

WICKED SCHOLAR:
-- (snake) Naazim al Haqqani: said "I have the mobile (cell) number of the prophet"
-- he could sell the Soofis the tel. number: Soofis ask for money to "intercede" with Allah (Audhubillah)

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allâh) said: "I know that which you do not know." (Al-Baqarah 2:30)

-- so the angels questioned Allah

-- who are the scholars that we cannot question them:
-- “Mr. Saudi Salafi : why do you tell us we cannot question bin Baz?”
-- bin Baz gave his walaa to an army who desecrate Quran using it as toilet paper and
-- then rape Muslim women / men:
-- the angels wanted to know the Hikmah about this creation

THE RASOOL (saws)

--the Rasool was marching to Battle of Badr, he decided to camp at a particular place. A Sahabah asked him, “Is it your personal opinion or wahi (revelation)?” The Rasool answered, that it was his personal opinion. The Sahabah said he disagreed and that they should camp next to the water (to cut it off from the kuffar). The Rasool abandoned his opinion and went with the opinion of the Sahabah when he realized it wasn’t strategic.

STRATEGIC DECISIONS:
-- if you believe that to dismantle the Shariah of Allah is a minor kufr,
--you are a heretic (zindeeq) and you have made up your own Islam
-- Imam Malik said : to believe that Allah is on/above His Arsh is waajib (obligatory)
-- the Goofi Soofis believe Allaah is everywhere
-- we can bring many incidents where the Sahabah question the prophet :

-- when the woman was stoned for adultery: Umar asked the Rasool "will you pray over her"

Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA) reported that the Jews brought to the Prophet (saws) a man and a woman who had committed (adultery) illegal sexual intercourse. He ordered both of them to be stoned (to death), near the place of offering the funeral prayers beside the mosque." [Bukhari]

And Shaitân (Satan) will say when the matter has been decided: "Verily, Allâh promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, so you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allâh (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.)." (Ibrahim 14:22)

Because the shaytaan KNOWS that you should ONLY OBEY ALLAH,
he will declare himself free of your sins

And whoso opposeth the messenger after the guidance (of Allah) hath been manifested unto him, and followeth other than the believer's way, We appoint for him that unto which he himself hath turned, and expose him unto hell - a hapless journey's end! (An-Nisa 115)

-- this ayah tells you that it is obligatory on you to follow the Ijmaah (agreement/consensus) of the ummah

Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah? Worse (is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen ! Worese is he of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road. (Maida 60)

-- Mr. Saudi Salafi, are you trying to say that when Allah turned the Jews into ape and swine, that

Allah was over re-acting!!!?
-- invite them to Authentic Tauheed to debate
-- the Saudi Salafis came for debate in Nigeria.,,
-- Abu Hanifah died in prison, they locked him up and poisoned him

Imam Abu Hanifa died a martyr in prison in the year 150 Ah. He was poisoned on the orders of the Caliph Mansur after being lashed and thrown in jail for refusing the post of Chief Justice. According to Yaqub ibn Shaybah he died while in a state of sujud.

-- Abu Hanifa died in prison; they locked him up and poisoned him: he died in salah
-- when Ahmad ibn Hanbal was alive : the fitnah of "the Quran was created" appeared

Ahmad ibn Hanbal:
--Ahmad ibn Hanbal refused to say that the Quran was created
--there is no such thing of a perfect creation; when the angels hear the kalamullah, the Quran:
--they fall down and faint
-- they asked Ahmad ibn Hanbal: why didn’t you cheat them?
--He replied "if a scholar of Islam should keep quiet, how can the Truth come to the surface"!

…and it is said to have been ash-Shafi’i – “What do you think of this Qur’an? Is it created?” He replied, counting on his fingers: “The Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, the Qur’an – these four are created,” ['Fi Dhilal Surat at-Tawbah'; p. 19]

Islam survived 3 days:
1. The day that the Rasool prayed and cried to Allah, Allah sent 1000 angels: they were given victory
2. When Abu Bakr fought the apostates for not paying zakat
3. When Imam ibn Hanbal took a stand against the Mutazalites they claimed the Quran was ‘created’)

I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat." They asked, "What are Al-Mubashshirat?" He replied, "The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings)." Hadith - Bukhari 9:168, Narrated Abu Salama

"The good dream of a man who is salih is a forty-sixth part of prophecy." Malik's Muwatta Book 52, Number 52.1.1

“True dreams are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood.” (al-Bukhaari, 6472; Muslim, 4201)
