Q&A Blessings of Allah to Mankind

Blessings of Allah to Mankind

Question 1: Is poverty a test from Allah?
Answer 1:
Poverty is a test from Allah as well as wealth but there is no good in poverty. It is better to be rich than to be poor.

Question 2: Sheikh, you said "poverty leads to kufr"... does this mean if you are poor but can resist kufr, that you will get rewarded more for it than if you are rich?
Answer 2:
If you are poor and you resist kufr then it is good for you. The crusaders go to poor countries and convert the Muslims to Christianity but it is better to be rich than to poor.

“Poverty, in all probability, leads to unbelief (kufr).” [bayhaqi; al-tabarani]

Shaikh doesn't know about getting more reward. If the rich has taqwa he is better than the poor with taqwa because the rich can do something for Islam. Abu bakr r.a will be the 1st to enter paradise and he's was rich.

Question 3: My little brother plays computer games. What is the hokum (ruling) for this, and what advice can i give him because he sometimes plays for many hours?
Answer 3:
Computers are very addictive. If you are not careful it will become addictive and destroys your eyes. it is only haram if it has nudity and black magic or kaafirs killing Muslims.

Abu huraira reported: i heard Allah’s messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the exalted and glorious, said: the son of Adam abuses dahr (the time), whereas i am dahr since in my hand are the day and the night. [Muslim #5580]

However if you spend too much time on it is haram because that is abusing time. Is like playing chess. you can't be ecstasy with the game. you need to spend time with your family too.

Question 4: I came across these hadiths Abu dawud (2142) - "the prophet (peace be upon him) said: a man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.", and Aisha r.a narrates, "he struck me on the chest which caused me pain. “Muslim (4:2127) . I thought you are not allowed to beat your wife and that the nabi (saw) never struck any one in his life.
Answer 4:
This hadith is true that the rasul (saw) never hit anyone.

Narrated Anas: I served the prophet for ten years, and he never said to me, "uf" (a minor harsh word denoting impatience) and never blamed me by saying, "why did you do so or why didn't you do so?" bukhari, volume 8, book 73, number 64

But he killed the kuffaar in the battlefield. Not all the hadith in Abu dawud are authentic. Every hadith bukhari is authentic except one. The scholars explained that the rasul (saw) was only demonstrating and aisha r.a felt some pain. However the hadith needs further investigation. Those who use surah nisa don’t understand the ayat.

As to those women on whose part you see ill conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means
(of annoyance). Surely, Allah is ever most high, most great. (an-nisa 4:34)

You beat them lightly and use the miswak. You hit them below their knees and not more than 10 times. you beat lightly not severely and you cannot leave marks.

Question 5: If your husband has a fetish to smother you then make out with you or to simulate rape with you, tie you up, give you pain etc., because it turns him on, is this allowed?
Answer 5:
Everything in the bedroom is halal except anal sex. If the wife agrees then is halal else is haram. This person might be suffering from mental disorder. If your wife doesn't like this then it is haram. There over 400 type’s mental diseases. Even serial killers have mental disorder and they enjoy when their victims beg for their lives. Dr Harold killed 500 of his patients. The kuffaar have a lot of personality disorder. you can ask for a khula if you don't like this. khula = divorce of a woman to her husband and she has to give back the dowry. You can go for faskh (annulment) so can keep the dowry. The idaat for the khula is 1 menstruation and with talaq is 3 menstruations.

Question 6: Shaykh do you agree that it is a must that we believe in every hadith agreed upon by the ulema of hadith or one becomes a kaafir? If so can you explain why scholars like ibn hazm rejected the hadith on music and some of those in the shafi'i madhab i read reject the hadith that the prophet (saw) would kiss aisha r.a and go and pray could you please clarify this issue?
Answer 6:
The shafi madhab says that if touch a woman it breaks your wudhu. Ibn hazm was brought up in a palace so was addicted to singing girls. When we say the rasul (saw) kissed aisha r.a we mean French kiss.

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the path of Allah, the verses of the Qur’an) by way of mockery. for such there will be a humiliating torment (in the hell-fire). (luqman 31:6)

To make takfeer on someone because he rejected one hadith is going too far. The parvezis reject every hadith so they are kaafirs.

Question 7: Sheikh, could you please explain this hadith, it is in Bukhari ,book 7, volume 71, hadith 606.where the prophet (saw) said ''seventy thousand shall enter paradise without any reckoning. Those people are those who do not treat themselves with ruqya.'' what does it means exactly about the ruqya part?
Answer 7:
This is a very important hadith. ruqya is when you recite a surah in water to cure yourself. However they have so much tawakkul (trust in Allah ) that they abandoned the ruqya and trust in Allah.

Narrated by Sahl bin sad the prophet said, "verily! 70,000 or 700,000 of my followers will enter paradise altogether; so that the first and the last amongst them will enter at the same time, and their faces will be glittering like the bright full moon. [sahih al-bukhari hadith 4.470

Narrated by Abu said: A group of the companions of Allah’s apostle proceeded on a journey till they dismounted near one of the Arab tribes and requested them to entertain them as their guests, but they (the tribe people) refused to entertain them. Then the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion) and he was given all sorts of treatment, but all in vain. some of them said, "will you go to the group (those travelers) who have dismounted near you and see if one of them has something useful?" they came to them and said, "o the group! our leader has been bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion) and we have treated him with everything but nothing benefited him has anyone of you anything useful?" one of them replied, "yes, by Allah, i know how to treat with a ruqya. But, by Allah, we wanted you to receive us as your guests but you refused. i will not treat your patient with a ruqya till you fix for us something as wages." consequently they agreed to give those travelers a flock of sheep. The man went with them (the people of the tribe) and started spitting (on the bite) and reciting surat-al-fatiha till the patient was healed and started walking as if he had not been sick. when the tribe people paid them their wages they had agreed upon, some of them (the prophet's companions) said, "distribute (the sheep)." but the one who treated with the ruqya said, "do not do that till we go to Allah’s apostle and mention to him what has happened, and see what he will order us." so they came to Allah’s apostle and mentioned the story to him and he said, "how do you know that surat-al-fatiha is a ruqya? you have done the right thing. Divide (what you have got) and assign for me a share with you." [sahih bukhari, vol 7, book 71, hadith #645]

Question 8: Bukhari (72:715) - a woman came to Muhammad (saw) and begged her to stop her husband from beating her. Her skin was bruised so badly that she it is described as being "greener" than the green Veil she was wearing. Muhammad (saw) did not admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires.
Answer 8:
This woman was beaten because she refused to sleep with her husband.

Talq Ibn Ali (ra) reported that Allah’s messenger (saw) said, "When a man calls his wife to satisfy his urge then she must go to him even if she is at the stove." [tirmidhi 1163]

The hadith says you should switch off the stove and answer the call of your husband. You deserved to be flogged if you refuse to go. All the angels curse you if you refuse. The man was excessive in his beating. You hit below knees and leave no marks.
