Q&A How To Be Sincere To The Leaders Of The Muslim Ummah

How To Be Sincere To The Leaders Of The Muslim Ummah

Question 1: I’m in France and i want to study Islamic theology (I’m Muslim). What must i read? Have you some names please? What Islamic scholar, leader, could i follow in France, i mean a scholar who teach in France ?
Answer 1:
You should take your deen from Ibn Kathir and Ibn Taymiyya. For a contemporary scholar, you have Abu Muhammad Al Maqdisi, Anwar Awlaki (ra). Don’t take your deen from a scholar who does not preach sharia, al walaa wal baraa etc. i do not have the fiqhul waqia of France, but i can give you these guidelines.

Question 2: If a man had madhyi come out and later he went and made wudu but forgot to wipe the private part and sprinkle water on the undergarments and he went and prayed but remembered later what should he do?
Answer 2:
That whiteness does not break ghusl. It breaks wudu not ghusl. Women have major and minor discharge. If a newlywed gets excited by talking to the husband and gets discharge that’s minor, she makes wudu not ghusl for it. Men have the same thing; major and minor. Discharge from orgasm is major so she makes ghusl.
Sperm does not make a garment impure.

'Aishah, "i used to scratch the sperm off the messenger of Allah’s clothes if it was dry, and wash it off if it was still wet." (This is related by Ad-Daraqutni, Abu 'Awanah and Al-Bazzar). It is also related that Ibn 'Abbas said, "i asked the messenger of Allah about sperm on clothes. He said, 'it is the same as mucus and spittle. it is sufficient to rub the area with a rag or cloth."'

Question 3: What is the difference between qadr and qadaa? do you have a previous lecture on the subject?
Answer 4:
Qadr (destiny) can be changed with your dua but qadar (predestination) can’t be changed. The evidence is surah 13:39.

Allah blots out what he wills and confirms (what he wills). and with him is the mother of the book (al-lauh al-mahfûz) (ra'd 13:39)

Allah wipes out what he wants to wipe out and cause to remain what he wants to remain.

"Nothing could change the qadar except du`a’." (musnad ahmad, vol. 5, hadith no. 277; sunan at-tirmidhi, vol. 3, hadith no. 139.

Question 4: What is the mafsadah and maslaha in jihad fiqh and how does it work according to shariah?
Answer 4:
Mafsadah means destruction. Maslahah means public interest. It means if you have a leader who is a tyrant; maybe it’s better not to topple him if the disadvantages are more than the advantages. so you have to weigh the harm and the benefit. It is left to the ijtihad of the scholars not the government scholars.

Question 5: I had a dream that the woman i was to marry before crying when she saw me and my wife and her mother looking worried.
Answer 5:
The interpretation is she made a mistake to call off the engagement.
