Q&A The Merits Of Dawah

The Merits Of Dawah [Part1]

Question 1: Asalam alaikum. Since we cannot call for shariah in dar ul harb (USA), is it allowed for a Muslim trying to get a college education to make hijrah to take out student loans which have riba?
Answer 1: You are allowed to take student loans to become doctors and engineer and then make hijrah. You don’t have to pay back the loan because its darul harb. We don’t have a convent of security.

Question 2: Abu Hamza have published a book I heard with the title of ''beware of takfeer'' and someone said Abu Hamza warned that shaikh Faisal does ''chain takfeer'' is this true? What is shaikh Faisal’s response on this book? jzk 1. His reaction about the book of Abu Hamza, 2. Is it that the shaikh does chaintakfeer hence making takfeer on unknown people who should not be made takfeer on?
Answer 2: Chain takfir is a part of our belief. Abu Hamza has a lot of mistakes. Shaikh hasn’t seen the book himself. One of the mistakes was you are not allowed to kill the munafiqeen. Omar killed the man who asked a question when he already asked the rasul (saw) who gave him an answer. Abu Bakr fought those who prayed 5 times a day but refused to pay zakat. Abu Hamza is self-taught and has many mistakes in his aqeedah. Someone is supposed to email the many many mistakes to shaikh.

But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad SAW) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission. (An-Nisa 4:65)

Question 3: Assalamu alaikum sheikh, is your salah valid if you pray with clothes that has designs on them like the nike tick, adiddas sign, pictures etc.
Answer 3: Your salah is valid, but not with pictures.

Question 4: Asalaamualaikum, is it haram for a muslim to put his trust in Allah, but at the same time fear the outcome of the future as he doesn’t know ghaib?
Answer 4: If you fear the outcome of the future because of the prediction you made, you didn’t commit shirk. As long as you didn’t go to the fortune tellers you won’t fall into shirk.

Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet (SAW), said “Whoever comes to a fortune-teller and believes him has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad (SAW)”. (Saheeh – narrated by Ahmad, 2/408; Abu Dawood, 3904; al-Tirmidhi, 135; Ibn Maajah, 639; al-Haakim, 1/8)

Question 5: Shiekh, khaled ibn walid (ra) commited big mistake by killing muslims after attacking a tribe, but the Prophet (saw) did not boycott him. So why then do these wicked scholars boycott the mujahideen and call them terrorist and kawaarij to the point that they ally themselves with kuffar to kill mujahideen?
Answer 5: There are 3 types of scholars, sinful scholar, wicked scholar, sincere scholars.

Verily, the hyprocrites will be in the lowest depths (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them. (An-Nisa 4:145)

Mujahideen will make mistakes. The sahabahs when fighting the kufaar sometimes the kids of the kufaar would be killed. The rasul (saw) didn’t tell them off.

And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). (Aali Imran 3:159)

The Merits Of Dawah [Part2]

Question 1: Asalaamualaikum, I was given dawah to a non muslim today and she ask me why does God have to create us for us to worship Him, and why does He have to put us through a text? I explained to the best of my ability.
Answer 1: Allah created us for the purpose to worship Him. And it is for our own well being. If you don’t do this you are oppressing yourself, because you will not be happy.

And (remember) when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zûlm (wrong) indeed.
(Luqman 31:13)

By worshipping Allah your heart will be at ease and you will be a happy person.

Question 2: Assalamu alaikum Sheikh. In England there is a place called Afghan village where the British soldiers train before they go off to Afghanistan. There are also ignorant Afghans that work in that place because they get paid lots of money. My question is, Can you give excuse to these people and say they are ignorant or have they left the fold of Islam?
Answer 2: They have left the fold of Islam. They help the white man to kill muslims. they are hypocrites and there is no doubt about that. Al-Ma’idah 51 is the evidence.

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust). (Al-Ma'idah 5:51)

Question 3: Asalam alaikum shaikh. I was discussing the benefits of polygamy with a brother in the masjid. That same night I had a dream. I walked into a kitchen and took two pieces of chocolate cake from the fridge. Then I walked into the other room and saw the same brother who I had been talking to about polygamy. I offered him one piece of chocolate cake since I had two, but he declined and I left with both pieces. Please interpret what this means.
Answer 3: Your dream means that the brother will turn his back on polygamy while you embrace it gracefully.

Question 4: Assalam alaikum, a sister is asking she had problems with her husband and she made an oath by saying wallahi that she will not return to him, now she is back with him, what is her situation. jzk
Answer 4: Allah says:

Allah will not punish you for what is uninentional in your oaths, but He will punish you for your deliberate oaths; for its expiation a deliberate oath feed ten Masakin (poor persons), on a scale of the average of that with which you feed your own families; or clothe them; or manumit a slave. But whosoever cannot afford (that), then he should fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths when you have sworn. And protect your oaths (i.e. do not swear much). Thus Allah make clear to you His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that you may be grateful. (Al-Ma'idah 5:89)

You have to feed ten poor people or cloth them, free a slave or if you can’t afford this you fast three days.

Question 5: What is best approach to make dawah, firmness or gentleness? Making friends first with a non muslim. What is the breakdown to this ayah 16:125 - Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.
Answer 5: Only tell them the things they need to know. If you are inviting a kaafir to Islam don’t tell them about niqaab polygamy etc. don’t start off with shariah but tell them what they need to know. Start off with tawheed.

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen, he said to him, "You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93, Hadith #469]

"Indeed you are going to the people of the book so let the first thing that you invite them to be the tawheed of Allah" (Bukhari 1/13)

The Merits Of Dawah [Part3]

Question 1:
What do these hadiths that are so bizarre contain information about? And isn't it wrong to lie to people about our deen so that they convert? We are supposed to accept everything in Islam, so if you lie to them about Islam, then they aren't accepting it based on the truth but just some watered down version.
Answer 1: You’re not allowed to lie about the deen, you have to tell them the truth or they will apostate later. You should speak straight to the point. You can’t lie about tawheed.

O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth. (Al-Ahzab 33:70)

He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise). (Al-Ahzab 33:71)

Question 2: Sheikh how can I advise a muslim who sleeps around and they were previously married but they only believe they are fornicating.
Answers 2: The muslims do not agree in regards to fornicating, this is adultery. Muslims who live in darul harb become scum bags bcos they are not living in darul Islam. He needs to be mentored by a scholar.

Question 3: Assalamu alaikum sheikh is it permissible to say such words as; lucky, unlucky, fortunate, unfortunate etc. I think such words suggest that everything happens by chance and that there is no higher sovereignty controlling the universe. JZK
Answer 3: To say good luck, bad luck is not shirk if you believe the event is already written.

Question 4: As salaamuilaykum sheikh, I know someone who is on saudi salafi manhaj, I tried to give her naseeha. I gave her proof on the fatwa of sahli fawzaan, And Authentic Tauheed blog And I discussed a few other things but her zawj told her not to go to The site. So how can I advise her further?
Answer 4:Tell her to seek knowledge behind the back of her husband. This person needs to make bara from husband.

Ibn Taymiyyah said: And it is known from the religion (of Islam) by necessity and by the consensus of all Muslims that whoever legalizes to follow other than the religion of Islam or a Sharia other than the Sharia of Muhammad (SAW), he is a Kaafir. And his kufr is similar to that of the one who believes in some part of the book (Quran) and reject some of it. Majmua Al-Fataawa: Vol 28, p. 524.

So Whosoever abandons the wise Shariah which was revealed upon Muhammed ibn Abdullah, the seal of the prophets, and goes to other abrogated Shariah for judgment, he becomes a Kaafir. So how about the one who goes to al-Yaasiq (man-made law) for judgment and gives it precedence (over the Sharia of Muhammed (saw). Whosoever does this has become a Kaafir by the Ijma of the Muslims. Ibn Kathir, Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah, Vol 13, p119

Muhammad Ibrahim [the shaikh of bin Baaz] said in page 6 of his book Tahkeem al Qawaneen: "Tawheed haakimiyya is the twin half of tawheed Ibaada."

While 'Allama al-Shinqiti-May Allah be merciful with him-has said: To commit shirk with Allah in judging is of the same meaning as to commit shirk in His worship, there is no difference between the two in any manner. There is no difference in any sense between he who follows a system (nizam) other than Allah's system or law other than Allah's law (sharia) and he who worships an idol or prostrates to a false god. They are the same and both are polytheists [associating others] with Allah. (Adwa' al-Bayan, 7:162)

Question 5: Salam Alaikom wr wb Sheikh, What should I do if for example I see a news-item about Islam on a News-channel on Youtube. I see many ignorant comments about Islam and Muslims there, and then I refute some of these people. What is your advice, am I allowed to do this even though there are some ignorant people who are mocking the Deen? Most of the time I am being harsh against them while being gentle with people who don't mock.
Answer 5: On the internet you will find a lot of people saying bad things about Islam. The internet can be used for good or bad. As long as you refute those who attack the deen you have done your job but to do this on the internet will be laborious.

The Merits Of Dawah [Part4]

Question 1: Shaykh you mentioned that the Batty Man (GAY) Muhsin Hendriks puts a spin on ayah and says that the people of Lut were destroyed because they wanted to rape the angels and it does not specifically mention homosexuality. Second this kafir and zindeeq says in order to give Islamic legitimacy to his corrupt way of life argues that he is offering love to his gay partner and it is forced rape therefore, his life style is permissible. How can one refute this erroneous argument?
Answer 1: When the angels went to Ibrahim (a.s), he offered them food. The angels didn’t eat the food. Ibrahim realised that they were angels and asked them what their mission was. They told Ibrahim that they're going to destroy the city of Lot. The decision to destroy the city was taken long before they came to the city.

Secondly we follow the way of the rightly guided caliphs. They burnt their bodies after killing them. So always remember that the decision to destroy the city was taken long before they arrived at the city.

There is a difference of opinion concerning the punishment for the one who commits sodomy. The following are the opinions that were mentioned by Imam Ash-Shawkani in "Nayl Al-Awtar" , Vol. 7/p122-124.
1) That he is killed with the sword, then burnt. This is narrated from Abu Bakr and 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib.
2) That a wall should be collapsed upon him. This was the opinion of 'Umar and 'Uthman.
3) That he should be thrown from the highest building in the city, then that should be followed up with him being pelted with rocks. This was the opinion of Ibn 'Abbas.
4) That he is stoned. This is narrated by Al-Bayhaqi from 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib, Ash-Sha'bi, Az-Zuhri, Malik, Ahmad, Is'haq, and Ash-Shafi'i.
5) That they are burned. This was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi, that Abu Bakr gathered the Sahabah and 'Ali mentioned this, and the Sahabah agreed upon it. It was also mentioned by Al-Munthiri that it was done by Abu Bakr, 'Ali, 'Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubayr, and Hisham Ibn 'Abdil-Malik.
6) That he is stoned, then burnt with fire. This is narrated from the Sahabah agreeing upon it in the time of Abu Bakr.
7) That the punishment is the same as Zina, in that if he is a virgin, he is whipped, and if he is not, then he is stoned.
8) That there is no prescribed punishment, rather it is left up to the Imam to perform Ta'zir, and this was narrated from Abu Hanifah, and one narration from Ash-Shafi'i, and others.
Ash-Shawkani refutes the opinion of the punishment being the same as Zina, as well as the opinion that there is only Ta'zir, and supports the opinion that he is killed, but does not appear to specify which way of killing is the strongest.

We don’t burn the bodies of muslims and we pray janazah over them. Homosexuality is not like zina. They are only waiting for a shaikh to say the gays can be muslims, so that they can establish the gay mosque (the pink mosque). These muslims march with the kufaar when they are demonstrating for gay rights. They put a spin on the ayat. But Allah destroyed they gay city, New Orleans and no angel came there for him to be raped. They all make it halal that’s why they are kafirs. They want to establish the pink mosque bcos the hadith says we'll follow the jews and christians step by step even if they enter a lizard hole we'll enter it.

You will inevitably follow the paths of those who came before you, handspan by handspan, cubit by cubit, until even if they entered the hole of a lizard, you will follow them.” We said, “O Messenger of Allaah, (do you mean) the Jews and Christians?” He said, “Who else?” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-I’tisaam bi’l-Kitaab wa’l-Sunnah, 6889; Muslim, al-‘Ilm, 6723)

Quran and sunnah are preached in mosque not zandaqah.

Question 2: In what occasion can you wipe over your socks InshaALLAH? Can you wipe your socks when you’re at a friend's house or when you are in your car and you need to pray or when you are in a journey or on campus?
Answer 2: We covered this. It is 24 hours for the resident and three days for the traveller.

How to do Tayammum:

You start counting from the time you start wiping.

Question 3: Is salatul hajar (prayer of need) a prescribed prayer in Islam?
Answer 3 : Yes it is allowed, and the best time to make dua is when you are in sajda. This is the time that Allah loves you the most and shaitan hates you the most. Make dua in Arabic if you can but other languages are also permissible. However Arabic is better.

Question 4: Is it permissible to have a private pension plan with your employer in the UK? Also, is travel insurance allowed?
Answer 4: Private pension is halal. Insurance is not permissible. Even car insurance is Haram. This is call money for nothing. Take the least amount for car insurance to avoid being arrested by police. Use a kill switch for your car if you are afraid that it will be stolen.

Question 5:
Assalamu alaikum sheikh, can a Muslim woman live on her own when she is not married. JZK
Answer 5: In some muslim countries they burn down the houses of the women living alone because they think that you are in business. You are allowed to live on your own out of necessity but marry if you can, that is better for you. You need a husband for your protection even if you don’t have needs. The rasul (saw) prevents us from travelling or living alone.

Musa (a.s) didn’t travel alone when he was going to meet al khidr. It is unislamic to live or travel by yourself.

The Merits Of Dawah [Part5]

Question 1: Is it allowed for Muslims to study law in Darul Harb?
Answer 1: The scholars differ in this issue. Some say it is a waste of time bcos it is manmade law and their law is pathetic. They make bestiality, sodomy legal. The scholars use 5:51.

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliya' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers and unjust). (Al-Ma'idah 5:51)

The second opinion says you can study their law to provide legal support to muslims in darul harb. Abu Qatada won his bail and it was a non muslim who was his lawyer.

And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirûn (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah's Laws). (Al-Ma'idah 5:44)

The correct opinion is that to study kaafir law is a waste of time. It would have been better to study medicine or engineering. They are more useful bcos the only law we accept is shariah law.

Question 2: I have not been able to find work where I live in dar ul harb, USA. I have some kaafir relatives in another state who own businesses and can give me work if I move there. The only problem is that I have a pregnant wife where I live who probably won't go with me. Should I go anyway, leaving her with her family, and then come back when the child is born and try to convince her to move with me?
Answer 2: It is compulsory on your wife to move with you. She is not allowed to disobey you. A woman is supposed to obey her husband. If she does not go with you, you can go and then come for her when she gives birth. But then if she refuses you are allowed to divorce her but make it a last resort. Try to convince her to obey you.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: "A believing man should not hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." [Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Hadith #3469]

Question 3: I had a dream where someone came and asked me some questions. What do you want for this life? Interpret the dream please.
Answer 3: Allah asks you where are you going.

Then where are you going? (At-Takwir 81:26)

The purpose of this is to make you analyse yourself. Are you going along the right road or wrong road?

But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep. (Al-Balad 90:11)

Allah wants you to wake up. That’s the interpretation of your dream. You need to choose the right path not the steep one.

Question 4: Shaykh since you are more informed about the fiqul waki in Jamaica, I would just like to ask you. I was discussing the issue of homosexuality in the Caribbean and a revert brother who used to be
Rastafarian told me that when Buju Banton released his song Boom Bye Bye Inna Batty Boy Dem and Shaba Ranks endorsed this song in Jamaica. The white kafir of Europe who is fanatical about homosexuality banned Buju Banton from UK and disgraced Shaba ranks in Jamaican society and finished his career where he ended moving to America. Is there any truth in the information that the brother gave me?
Answer 4: Yes it is true. The white kuffaar waged war on them because they sang songs against Gays. Jamaica is the most homophobic country in the world and Canada is the most Gay friendly. You can be killed for paedophilia and homosexuality in Jamaica. You get 10 years for homosexuality even myself I am very homophobic. Shaikh in Prison, a sister bought a Versachi shirt for me and i asked her to return it, if it were Giorgio Armani I would have accepted.

Question 5: Who was Prophet Ibrahim’s kafir wife? Wasn’t Sarah a believer?
Answer 5: I said 2 prophets had kaafir wives, it was prophet Lut and Nuh.

The Merits Of Dawah [Part6]

Question 1:
In his essay on servitude, ibn Taymiyyah said: "If a man gives his heart to a women then he will be her slave and she will be his master. This type of enslavement of the heart should only be reserved for Allah." My question is how do we apply this statement from ibn Taymiyyah to our marriages without falling into harshness or becoming cold toward our womenfolk?
Answer 1: What he is saying is that there is no obedience to the creation when you are disobeying the Creator. If your wife gives you and instruction and you obey your wife a halal instruction this is fine. However, if she ask you to do something haram and you do so, this is haram. This is what he meant.

Question 2: I dreamt that I was committing zina. Please interprete.
Answer 2: It means that you have a fitna for women and you need to fear Allah. You have a weakness for women and you need to get married.

Question 3: Am I allowed to get married to a lawyer?
Answer 3: You are allowed because a lawyer is not a kafir.

Question 4: Will we be questioned on the day of Judgment for not doing dawah to the non muslims? Or are we only answerable to those under our charge on the Day of Judgment as per Allah's command for us to protect ourselves and our families from hell fire in surah 66:6?
Answer 4: The commandments can be found in 66:6. If your Christian friends have interest in Islam and you withhold the message, then you will be questioned. If they don’t show interest, you will not be questioned.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If anyone is asked about a knowledge that he knows but conceals then, on the Day of Resurrection, he will be restrained with reins of fire.” [Abu Dawud 658,Ibn Majah 264, Ahmed 7574]

Question 5: What is the ruling on sending Talaaq warning without intention of giving talaaq?
Answer 5: Please refer our lecture on the link below about divorce.
