Bismillah…

THE SEALED NECTAR CONTINUES

THE FAREWELL PILGRIMAGE
-it took place 10 years after the hijra
-Abu Bakr took the Muslims to hajj in the 9th year of hijra
-and Ali was sent with 3 directives to be read to the people

The rasul (SAW) made a public declaration
-that he has made his intention to make hajj
-so people gathered from all over to make pilgrimage with him
-who would get such an opportunity and throw it away? only a mad man will

After the accomplishment of the Call, the proclamation of the Message and the establishment of a new society on the basis of ‘There is no god but Allâh,’ and on Muhammad’s mission, a secret call uprose in the heart of the Messenger of Allâh [pbuh] telling him that his stay in the Lower World was about to terminate. That was clear in his talk to Mu‘adh whom he had dispatched to Yemen in the tenth year of Al-Hijra: "O, Mu‘adh! You may not see me after this current year. You may even pass by this very Mosque of mine and my tomb." Upon hearing that Mu‘adh cried for fear that he would part with the Messenger of Allâh [pbuh].

It is not permissible to build a tomb and then a masjid over it
-so the tomb of the rasul should have been outside the masjid

Narrated By 'Aisha and 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas: Allah's Apostle said: "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets." The Prophet was warning (Muslims) of what those had done. [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, Hadith #427]

Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) forbade that graves should be plastered and that anything should be inscribed thereon and that a structure should be raised on them and that they should be trodden on. [Muslim 970, Abu Dawud 3225, Tirmidhi 1054, Nisai 2023]

Muadh started to cry
-because he feared he will never see the prophet again

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen, he said to him, "You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93, Hadith #469]

-the prophet asked him to invite the people of the book to Tauheed
-this is the Manhaj of rasul (SAW)
-so you are not allowed to call for Shariah in darul harb
-these people are degeneratesand inviting them to Shariah
-is like throwing silver and gold to the swine
-this is why it is important to study the Seerah
-it teaches you the Manhaj, the methodology
-as Muadh was told by the prophet

Aisha said if the first thing to be revealed was for people to relinquish alcohol and zina
-nobody would have embraced Islam

“…When the people embraced Islam, the Verses regarding legal and illegal things were revealed. If the first thing to be revealed was: 'Do not drink alcoholic drinks.' people would have said, 'We will never leave alcoholic drinks,' and if there had been revealed, 'Do not commit illegal sexual intercourse, 'they would have said, 'We will never give up illegal sexual intercourse.' [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #515]

The Messenger of Allâh [pbuh] announced an intention to proceed with this blessed pilgrimage journey himself. Enormous crowds of people came to Madinah, all of whom seek the guidance and Imamate of the Messenger of Allâh [pbuh]in the pilgrimage (Al-Hajj). [Sahih Muslim 1/394]

On a Saturday of the last four days of Dhul-Qa‘dah, the Prophet [pbuh] started the departure preparations procedure. [Fath Al-Bari 8/104] He combed his hair, applied some perfume, wore his garment, saddled his camel and set off in the afternoon. He arrived at Dhul-Hulaifa before the afternoon prayer. He performed two Rak‘a and spent the night there. When it was morning he said to his Companions: "A comer, sent by my Lord, has called on me tonight and said: ‘Pray in this blessed valley and say: I intend ‘Umrah combined with pilgrimage (‘Umrah into Al-Hajj).[Sahih Al-Bukhari 1/207]

People coming from UK may have to put on their ihram from the airport
-because they are flying

You are supposed to make Ghusl at the Meeqat and then make 2 raka
-and then say your intention

The type of hajj the prophet performed was called Qiraan; combining umrah and hajj
-and this requires you to slaughter an animal

After the rasul took his bath Aisha applied perfume on his body
-you are to put the perfume on your body, not on the clothes
-so after you wear your ihram and make your intentions
-you are not allowed to do certain things:

1. clipping nails
2. wearing stitched clothing
3. propose to a woman
4. to apply perfume
5. to get married

-doing any of the above is a violation of the ihram

When you put on your ihram you have to chant

Narrated By 'Abdullah bin 'Umar : The Talbiya of Allah's Apostle was : 'Labbaika Allahumma labbaik, Labbaika la sharika Laka labbaik, Inna-l-hamda wan-ni'mata Laka walmulk, La sharika Laka' (I respond to Your call O Allah, I respond to Your call, and I am obedient to Your orders, You have no partner, I respond to Your call All the praises and blessings are for You, All the sovereignty is for You, And You have no partners with you.) [al-Bukhari (1549) and Muslim (1184)]

Why are you making this chant?
-you are saying oh Allah I have answered your call in your book
-and here I am, at Your service

Making hajj by road is more exciting
-because you are with your brothers and when you reach the Meeqat, you make the chanting

Before performing the noon prayer, he bathed for Ihram (ritual consecration), and ‘Aishah [R] perfumed him on both his body and head with her hand with a Dharira (a plant) and with a perfume containing musk. The thick sticky layer of perfume could be seen among his parts of hair and beard. He left it unwashed, wore his loincloth and garment. He performed the noon prayer shortened, two Rak‘a. He proclaimed pilgrimage procedure associated with ‘Umrah at his prayer-place. He, then mounted his she-camel ‘Al-Qaswa’, and proclaimed: ‘There is no god but Allâh’. When he moved into the desert, he acclaimed the Name of Allâh. He proceeded with his journey till he approached Makkah. He spent the night at Dhi Tuwa and entered Makkah after performing the dawn prayer. He had a bath on Sunday morning, the fourth of Dhul-Hijjah the tenth year of Al-Hijra. He spent eight days on the way, which was an average period. As soon as he entered Al-Haram Mosque he circumambulated Al-Ka‘bah and walked to and fro (Sa‘i) between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. He did not finish the Ihram (ritual consecration) because he was Qarin (i.e. intending ‘Umrah and Al-Hajj associated). He then took Al-Hadi (i.e. the sacrificial animals) in order to slaughter them. He camped on a high place of Makkah — Al-Hajun. As for circumambulation, he performed only that of Al-Hajj (pilgrimage circumambulation).

Tawaaf Qudum is greeting the Ka’bah by making tawaaf
-he did this because his hajj was Qiraan; combining hajj with umrah

Those of his Companions who had no Hadi with them to sacrifice, were ordered to observe Ihram (i.e. the state of ritual consecration) into ‘Umrah (i.e. lesser pilgrimage), and circumambulate Al-Ka‘bah and stride ritually to and fro between As-Safa and Al-Marwah. After that they could relieve themselves from Ihram. They, however, showed reluctance to do what they had been told. Thereupon, the Messenger of Allâh [pbuh] said: "Had I known beforehand what I knew afterward, I would not bring Hadi, and if I did not have Hadi, I would break Ihram. On hearing these words, his Companions obeyed the orders to the latter.

On the eighth day of Dhul-Hijjah — that is the Day of Tarwiyah, he left for Mina where he performed the noon, the afternoon, the sunset, the evening and the dawn prayers. — i.e. five prayers. Then he stayed for a while till the sun rose up then he passed along till he reached ‘Arafah, where there was a tent built for him at Namirah. He sat inside till the sun went down. He ordered that Al-Qaswa’, his she-camel, should be prepared for him. They saddled it and had it ready, so he went down the valley where a hundred thousand and twenty-four or forty-four thousand people gathered round him. There he stood up and delivered the following speech: "O people! Listen to what I say. I do not know whether I will ever meet you at this place once again after this current year. [Ibn Hisham 2/603] It is unlawful for you to shed the blood of one another or take (unlawfully) the fortunes of one another. They are as unlawful, (Haram) as shedding blood on such a day as today and in such a month as this Haram month and in such a sanctified city as this sacred city (i.e. Makkah and the surrounding areas)." "Behold! all practices of paganism and ignorance are now under my feet. The blood-revenge of the Days of Ignorance (pre-Islamic time) are remitted. The first claim on blood I abolish is that of Ibn Rabi‘a bin Harith who was nursed in the tribe of Sa‘d and whom Hudhail killed. Usury is forbidden, and I make a beginning by remitting the amount of interest which ‘Abbas bin ‘Abdul Muttalib has to receive. Verily, it is remitted entirely." "O people! Fear Allâh concerning women. Verily you have taken them on the security of Allâh and have made their persons lawful unto you by Words of Allâh! It is incumbent upon them to honour their conjugal rights and, not to commit acts of impropriety which, if they do, you have authority to chastise them, yet not severely. If your wives refrain from impropriety and are faithful to you, clothe and feed them suitably." "Verily, I have left amongst you the Book of Allâh and the Sunnah (Traditions) of His Messenger which if you hold fast, you shall never go astray." [Sahih Muslim 1/397]

On hajj you join your prayers and also allowed to shorten them
-this is because you are a traveller and on hajj
-and those who do not allow you to do so are mistaken

How many people heeded the call of the prophet and made hajj with him?
-144,000 people gathered around him for hajj

When the rasul was on mount Arafat he gave a Khutbah
-and the most important part of hajj is to be on mount Arafat
-on the 9th of dhul hijjah
-and if you go for hajj and miss it then you have no hajj

Jabal ar-Rahma was the place the prophet stood to make the Khutbah on mount Arafat
-but the mountain he was on when Jibril brought revelation is called Jabal al-Noor

"O people! The first claim on blood I abolish is that of Ibn Rabi‘a bin Harith who was nursed in the tribe of Sa‘d and whom Hudhail killed…

You are allowed to kill a homosexual, or even a rapist
-but this is left to the ijtihaad of the imam
-also a paedophile can be killed but left up to the Qadi (judge)
-you are allowed to kill the one that committed incest or bestiality

Narrated By Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (pbuh) said: If anyone has sexual intercourse with an animal, kill him and kill it along with him. I (Ikrimah) said: I asked him (Ibn Abbas): What offence can be attributed to the animal/ He replied: I think he (the Prophet) disapproved of its flesh being eaten when such a thing had been done to it. [Abu Dawud, Book 33, Hadith #4449]

-these killings should be done by the imam not anyone
-you are not allowed to kill a lesbian, but you kill a homosexual
-you are also allowed to kill a drug smuggler
-you kill the madam who operates the brothel, but not the prostitutes working there
-because a prostitute, maybe did so because of poverty, so help them with Zakah

You also kill the armed robber
-if you are a pick pocket we cut off your hand
-but the armed robber is crucified as stated in 5:33

The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. (Al-Ma'idah 5:33)

It was narrated from 'Aishah that some people raided the she-camels of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), so the Prophet (SAW) cut off their hands and feet (on opposite sides) and lanced (gouged out) their eyes. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Arabic/English), Vol 3, pg 479, Hadith #2579]

You also kill the apostate but not every apostate is killed
-you kill the one who failed to come back to Islam
-but some of them you can bring back to Islam
-and these you are not allowed to kill
-so Dr Zakir Naik was not wrong to say this

If you kill a Muslim, you will take away all of his sins on judgement day
-Allah said;

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!. (Al-Ma'idah 5:32)

-killing one man is like killing the whole of mankind
-and saving one life is like saving the whole of mankind
-the murderer who kills someone because he hates the Islam in you, he is a kaafir
-but if he killed you because you raped his child, he is not a kaafir

The Taghoot in the Muslim countries kill you because of the Islam in you
-so they have apostated

If the murderer is a spy and tells the kuffaar where to find you and bomb you
-he has become a kaafir, it is called aiding and abetting against Islam and Muslims

Whenever the murderer makes it halal to kill you
-he has become a kaafir because he is a legislator

If you murder a Muslim you pay blood money
-100 camels for a man and 50 for a woman

The rasul (SAW) said amanah should be returned
-but some people do not do this

Prophet Sulayman will be the last prophet to enter paradise
-because he was the richest among them
-he has more to account for at the hisab
-where you will be asked some questions
-how you spent your life, wealth,

You are not allowed to put a spin on the ayah
-this is done by the wicked scholars
-and the prophet said they are worse than the dajjaal

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: " Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." Recorded in Musnad Imam Ahmad (no.21,334 and no.21,335)

These scholars are in bed with the Taghoot
-and it is impossible to be a Muslim without rejecting the Taghoot
-because Allah said;

There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghût and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:256)

-to believe in Allah does not make you special
-rejecting the Taghoot makes you special
-many kuffaar believe in Allah
-but they do not reject the Taghoot, so they are not Muslims

Your Shahadah has 2 parts
1. Negation
2. Affirmation

-some Muslims practice only half of the Shahadah
-because the scholars do not teach them about it
-they think believing in Allah is enough

You will be asked about your wealth and pleasures
-as Allah said;

Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight[] (you indulged in, in this world)! (At-Takathur 102:8)

-na3im means pleasures of the flesh that you dabble in

Some Muslims who claim they are the Muslim gay alliance
-what will they tell Allah on judgement day?
-see what darul harb has turned your sons and daughters to?
-why do you not make hijrah?

Narrated By 'Adi bin Hatim: The Prophet said, "There will be none among you but will be talked to by Allah on the Day of Resurrection, without there being an interpreter between him and Him (Allah). He will look and see nothing ahead of him, and then he will look (again for the second time) in front of him, and the (Hell) Fire will confront him. So, whoever among you can save himself from the Fire, should do so even with one half of a date (to give in charity)." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 76, Hadith #547]

…Usury is forbidden, and I make a beginning by remitting the amount of interest which ‘Abbas bin ‘Abdul Muttalib has to receive. Verily, it is remitted entirely."…

Riba is haram and baatil
-Allah said;

And say: "Truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism or this Qur'an or Jihad against polytheists) has come and Batil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism, etc.) has vanished. Surely! Batil is ever bound to vanish." (Al-Isra 17:81)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: "Riba has seventy segments, the least serious being equivalent to a man committing adultery with his own mother." [Ibn Majah, Vol. 3, p337, #2274 and Mustadrak Al-Hakim, Vol. 2, p43, #2259]

-it is oppression and this is why people are marching on Wall Street against it
-the prophet condemned it on the farewell pilgrimage
-so why were you surprised when you saw people marching against it?
-Allah said;

Those who eat Riba (usury) will not stand (on the Day of Resurrection) except like the standing of a erson beaten by Shaitan (Satan) leading him to insanity. That is because they say: "Trading is only like Riba (usury)," whereas Allah has permitted trading and forbidden Riba (usury). So whosoever receives an admonition from his Lord and stops eating Riba (usury) shall not be punished for the past; his case is for Allah (to judge); but whoever returns [to Riba (usury)], such are the dwellers of the Fire - they will abide therein. (Al-Baqarah 2:275)

Allah will destroy Riba (usury) and will give increase for Sadaqat (deeds of charity, alms, etc.) And Allah likes not the disbelievers, sinners. (Al-Baqarah 2:276)

Riba makes many people suffer poverty
-and you have so many children dying from hunger
-this is why the richest people donate to Africa
-because their conscience do not allow them to sleep while children are dying
-you enjoy your wealth only when you share it
-but to have so much wealth and allow children to die
-this your conscience cannot allow it
-the prophet said;

Ibn 'Abbas told Ibn az-Zubayr, "I heard the Prophet (SAW), say, 'A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry.'" [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, #112]

In this world we have enough to satisfy everybody’s needs
-but not enough for everybody's greed

Narrated Ibn ‘Abbâs and Anas bin Mâlik: Allah’s Messenger said, “If a son of man had a valley full of gold, he would desire to have two. Nothing can fill his mouth except the earth (of the grave). Allah turns with mercy to him who turns to Him in repentance.” (Al-Bukhâri and Muslim)
