Q&A The Sealed Nectar [Part12-22]

(15/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part12]

Question 1: Assalamu alaikum wrwb shaikh, when you say Bilal was from the blessed household of Rasulallah (saws), do you mean he was part of Ahlul Bayt along with Ummahatul Mu'mineen. Fatimah, Ali, Al-Abbas, Ibn Abbas, etc?
Answer 1: What he meant was his love for Bilal was similar to that of his household. It was relation by love not genetically, the prophet loved Bilal. It could never have been genetically because they were different.

Question 2: A brother became Muslim 4 years ago he didn't know it was kufr to say Allah has a son and he genuinely was jahil on tawhid at the time as he was just new but he read kitab ul tawhid and aqeedah tahawiyyah but he didnt say the shahadah again or do taubah as he was unaware, did he apostate? Also if someone has committed kufr and left Islam but he wants to come back he says the shahadah again he doesn’t do ghusl because he thinks it’s not wajib according to Hanafi madhaab and he does salat ul tawbah has he repented or is it rejected?
Answer 2: When you are an apostate and come back you have to do ghusl, this is the Hambali fiqh. Just like a kaafir Aslee should do ghusl and this is the correct opinion. If he did not know he had to do ghusl we give him the excuse of ignorance. When an apostate returns to Islam and prays 2 rakat of salatul taubah that is his shahadah. If he says the son is physical this is kufr and you are not allowed to mix Islam with Christianity.

Question 3: Assalamu alaikum sheikh, can we take from Imam Tahir Anwar in the US?
Answer 3: Is it the same Anwar who was with me in Saudi, is he from Philadelphia? You are asking me about people I never heard about, but now that you know the right aqeedah you should take knowledge from people that preach the right aqeedah. If they preach shariah, Jihad, al walaa wal baraa, khilafah, then you can take your deen from them.

Question 4: What about Shaikh Khalid Yasin is it ok to listen to this American sheikh?
Answer 4: Khalid Yaasin is a daee like Shiraj wahaj, they are motivation speakers but they can’t make fatwas, so you can’t take your knowledge from them. You are also not allowed to make a business transaction with him because he is treacherous in business. He uses a beard and a thobe to con unsuspecting Muslims. He is very dodgy in business transaction.

Question 5: Is Shaykh Fiez ok to take knowledge from?
Answer 5: I think he should be ok but i don’t know his aqeedah. I was with him in S/Africaand at the dinner table people were asking me all questions on aqeedah, but asked him on general questions. So you are allowed to take your deen from him if he preaches jihad, shariah etc but if he bad mouths the mujahideen you should not.

(16/04/12) The Sealed Nectar [Part13]

Question1: Salam Alaykum, I was told Kab's crime also included the slander of pious Muslim women. He mentioned their names with sexual overtones and that's what enraged the Rasool. Should the Muslim women’s honour be protected by the Iron the way the Rasool's character was protected?
Answer 1: You have to protect the honour of your Muslim sister, because they are your mothers, sisters and daughters. The Rasul (saw) was enraged at what he said because Ka'b Ibn Ashraf was speaking ill about the Muslim women. Muhammad bin Maslamah volunteered to kill him (Ka’b), the Rasul gave permission to say ill of him to win his trust, then he Muhammad killed Ka’b and brought his head back to the Rasul, to show him that the mission was accomplished he pushed the wrong button. The best of the women are the Muslim women; you should not allow the kuffar to dishonour Muslim women.

Question 2: A sister is considering moving back to her mothers who lives abroad, to support her. However, the sister is worried that her deen might be affected due to the lack of practicing Muslims and the dawa activities in that particular region. The sister wants to be with her mother but is unsure what to do. Could you please give some advice on this matter inshaallah jzk.
Answer 2: If your mother is a Muslim then it is compulsory on you to help her. If she is a kaafir, who is not antagonistic to Islam then you can go and help her if you are the only daughter.

Question 3: Other than war how can slaves be taken? And isn't it a sin to take a free person as a slave so don't we have to know how a slave was taken into captivity?
Answer 3: A slave can be bought. After the battle of Banu Mustalic, the sahabas took the slaves to the market. They sold them as slaves; the Rasul was given a slave as a gift. If you have more than one then you can give it as a gift. You can sleep with the Right hand possess, its halal for you because of the ayah [23:6].

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) (Al-Mu'minun 23:5)

Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; (Al-Mu'minun 23:6)

You should not apologise to the kuffar about right hand possess.Allah spoke about this in the Quran
(23:5-6) there are some people in the USA, UK who take right hand possess and they get imprisonment, she might cry rape and give DNA evidence.

It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (Al-Anfal 8:67)

You can only take right hand possess after you subdue the land.

Question 4: Asalamu alaykum Sheikh is there a difference between Jihad and the Ghazwa of the Nabi (saws). Because I over heard the Imam at my masjid saying that the Prophet only did Jihad at Badr and the Conquest of Makkah but the other battles were considered Ghazwa (only battles) and lastly, I read on from a mujahid brother that the Caliphate has been gone since the Abbasasid dynasty. I was confused by this statement because the Ottoman Empire lasted until 1924. Please explain.
Answer 4: Jihad is to wage war against the kuffar to spread the truth of Islam. The battle of Banu Mutaliq was jihad because it was against pagan tribe. If you wage war against Muslims it is not Jihad, it is fitna.

A man came to the Prophet and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet said, "He who fights that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause." [Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 65]

Your intention should not be for fame and/or fortune; it is not jihad if that’s your intention. Your intention should be purified; there is an opinion that it wasn't really a legitimate caliphate. That was why the Arabs took side with the Europeans, at least the Ottoman Empire did jihad. They used to worship the grave and they were Sufis, so the Wahaabis fought against them.Shaikh would not say it wasn't a caliphate what was read was only an opinion.

Question 5: Asalamu Alaykum may Allah protect you Sheikh, I have a question regarding hijrah from Dar ul kufr. It requires me to leave my family and my Mother, she is a kafir but i still feel bad because it’s the sunnah of Allah to love your parents especially your Mother, However i feel that Hijrah is obligatory upon me in these testing times we are living in. Will I be committing a sin if i leave whilst there are many obligations on me? JazakAllah khayr.
Answer 5: In that case you should take your mother with you if you don’t have other siblings that can take care of her. Then you are allowed to make hijrah without any guilt but if you are alone and she is not antagonistic towards Islam you should take her along.

(17/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part14]

Question 1: The Muslims good deeds are given away to those whom they slander; what happens to the kaafirs who slander, what do we get when they slander us, as they're already going to hellfire forever?Answer 1: Don’t you know what you get?The Prophet (saw) said what you will get. On Judgement day Allah will take away the sins of the Muslims and Dump it on the kuffar. And then throw them in the Hell fire.

Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said: When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire. [Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Hadith #6665]

Question 2: Shaikh I was visiting my family and discussing shariah, they claim shariah gave birth to democracy. Please explain the reality of this jzk.
Answer 2: This Shaikh who said this is a jahil. Shariah didn’t give birth to Democracy. Democracy is the greatest shirk, democracy came from Greece, also this shaikh maybe did not study aqeedah, and rather he may just studied fiqh. The surah 6:116 refutes democracy.

Narrated By Abu Musa: Two men from my tribe and I entered upon the Prophet. One of the two men said to the Prophet, "O Allah's Apostle! Appoint me as a governor," and so did the second. The Prophet said, "We do not assign the authority of ruling to those who ask for it, nor to those who are keen to have it." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 89, Hadith #263]

And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie. (Al-An'am 6:116)

Question 3: Aswrwb. How can you purify yourself after committing a sin or may have negated your shahada?
Answer 3: You have to Make Taubah and make Ghusl. Once you do this you come back into Islam. When you do the tahashud in the second rakat of salah this makes you a Muslim again.

Question 4: Salam Alaikom Shaikh, a Muslim asked other Muslims after the Friday prayer in the masjid for Dua for his deceased mother who passed away a day before, but unfortunately many Muslim left him alone and refuse to offer Dua probably fear of committing bid’ah. What is your opinion about this? Jazakallahu khair.
Answer 4: They should have made a dua' for his mother, this is not bi'dah. For example the story of the black women who died, and the Prophet (saw) made dua for her. It does not matter if one has passed away, you can still make dua for them.

(19/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part15]

Question 1: What is the distance and for how long can a woman travel without a Mahraam?
Answer 1: The distance is 3 days and 3 nights and if she is going to one airport to anotherShe needs a mahram at the airports to look after her.

Question 2: Is it haram not to go jumah prayer at a Saudi Salafi masjid if that masjid in your city because you don't want to pray behind imams with CIA aqeedah or dodgy aqeedah?
Answer 2: This is a problem which Muslims are facing. Most of the masjids have the wrong aqeedah like Sufis, and Brewalis and such. You should establish your own jumma'h. All you need is an Imaam and 2 people. You can download the notes for the khutbah from the blog.

Question 3: As we know an Amir is required for there to be a Hudna. What do you say to those who say surah tawbah abrogates all covenants except the jizya, this is Imam Ibn Hazms opinion, also is it true a peace treaty is only for 10 years if the Muslims are weak and is a permanent peace treaty a bidah.
Answer 3: A permanent peace treaty, shaikh has never heard this before. If this is the case then it gets rid of jihaad. There are 3 different types of Dars.
Darul Kufr- They do not intent to kill Muslims.
Darul Harb- These lands send troops to kill Muslims, they also imprison Muslims.
Darul Islam-Where Tawheed/Shariah is implemented.
You can go into a treaty with darul kufr because they do not plot to kill you.

And fight in the Way of Allah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allah likes not the transgressors. [This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihad, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:190)

Allah says in 2:190 only fight those who fight you.Don’t bring hostility to those who haven’t brought it to you, you have many enemies. The prophet (saw) said don’t wish to meet the enemy.

O people! Do not wish to meet the enemy, and ask Allah for safety, but when you face the enemy, be patient, and remember that Paradise is under the shades of swords." Then he said, "O Allah, the Revealer of the Holy Book, and the Mover of the clouds and the Defeater of the clans, defeat them, and grant us victory over them." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 52, Hadith #266A]

Whenever you have a Hudna you need an Ameer to sign it, you can’t have a munafiq doing it or a murtad. And it has to benefit the Muslims; a permanent treaty with a nation which is hostile is bid'ah. Imam ibn hazams opinion is correct RE: the jiziyah and covenant.

Question 4: Did the Prophet marry Aysha before badr or after?
Answer 4: The Prophet (saw) got married to Aisha 2 years after the migration to medina. There is narration that she participated in the raid of Abu Sufiyan at the battle of Badr,But shaikh will research further insha'Allah

Question 5: Salam Alaikom Shaikh, is it lawful for a Muslim man to marry kuffar woman or does she need to take a Shahada before the marriage? Jazakallahu khair
Answer 5: A Muslim man is allowed to marry a Christian/Jewish girl if no Muslim women are available. He cannot marry, Buddhist, Hindus or such, only people of the book. She has to be chaste too.

(21/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part16]

Question 1: A Person used to tell lies all the time, how does he change when it becomes the norm to him and can he repent and change his condition.
Answer 1: There is taubah for this person, before death.

Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Az-Zumar 39:53)

You can repent from all sins before you die, as Allah said in surah 39:53.Only the khawaarij despair from the mercy of Allah. The Murji’ah’s do not fear Allah but has complete hope in His mercy. Only the ASWJ balances between fear love and hope. A sufi doesn't fear Allah and says he loves Allah. A sufi is a Christian. The brewalis have the creed of the Hindus.

O you who believe! Enter perfectly in Islam (by obeying all the rules and regulations of the Islamic religion) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily! He is to you a plain enemy (Al-Baqarah 2:208)

Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All¬Knower, All¬Aware (of things). (Luqman 31:34)

Question 2: Salaam Alaikum Shaikh, if someone wakes up and prays Fajr when there is red on the sky, does that mean they missed the salaat? BarakAllahu feek Shaikh.
Answer 2: If you wake up late you pray the fajr, but you should set your alarm and wake up on time. This is what shaikh does.

Question 3: Are Zaydis considered to be Muslims?
Answer 3: The Zaydis are considered as Muslims and you are allowed to pray behind them. Those who make takfir on the sahabas are kaafirs.

If you help him (Muhammad SAW) not (it does not matter), for Allah did indeed help him when the disbelievers drove him out, the second of two, when they (Muhammad SAW and Abu Bakr) were in the cave, and he (SAW) said to his companion (Abu Bakr): "Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allah is with us." (At-Tawbah 9:40)

Question 4: In surah An- Nisa verse 140 it says if you sit with them, you will be like them what did the ulema say of this verse, I went to a comedy show with my mushrik mother and in this comedy they briefly made a mocking reference to Rasullah (saw) and Isa alayhis salaam. I felt angry and would have left but i was with my mum. Did i commit kufr? A brother told me no it’s only if you laughed, but i read somewhere apparently just being there and not leaving means you consent to kufr is this true?
Answer 4: If you sit in a gathering where people are ridiculing Islam and you don’t hate it in your heart then you are a kaafir. If you hate it in your heart you didn’t become a munafiq or an apostate. Also you should console your heart.

(22/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part17]

Question 1: If ‘BismillahiRahmaniRahim’ is the first verse of surah fatiha, why don’t most imams say that out loud and instead they start with ‘AlhamdulilahiRabbul alameen’, are we supposed to say ‘bismillahirahmirahim’ out loud? jzk for taking question and dars.
Answer 1: The correct opinion about the basmalah is that the first ayah of surah fatiha is ‘bismillahir rahmanir raheem’. People don’t say it out loud because of tradition. If you pray behind a shaf'ai scholar he will say it out loud.

Question 2: Salam Alaikum Shaikh, If one is about to pray, be it Sunnah or Fard and did not voice his intention out but kept it inside because Allah swt knows the secret of the hearts, is this Salaah also batil? Jazakallah khair
Answer 2: If you keep it in your heart, your salaah is not baatil. The only intention you say out loud is the intention of umrah and hajj. As for the other intentions you keep it in your heart, but for the sake of Salaah you can whisper it. Whenever you get up for a saalah, i.e its fajr, or dhur you should make an intention. Otherwise your salaah is baatil because the Prophet (saw) actions only go by intention.

Umar ibn al-Khattab said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW), say, "Actions only go by intentions. Everyone gets what they intend..." [al-Bukhari (1) and Muslim (4692)]

The only salah you pray 4 rakah is the fardh salah's, not the sunnah's, the sunnah's you do them 2 by 2. So you do 2 rakah and then do tasleem, and re do another 2 rakah’s.If you have any evidence, bring it to shaikh because he is not aware of praying in 4 rakah’s for Sunnah prayers. If you don’t separate your intentions, from the fardh salah's or sunnah's then your salaah becomes batil. When you fast in raamadan, and you haven’t made an intention for every single day, your seyam is baatil you just gain hunger and thirst.

Question 3: Salam Alaikum Shaikh, does the battle of Mut’ah have something to do with the first 2 ayats of Surah Ar-Rum? Jazakallah Khair.
Answer 3: Surah Rum (30) -this surah is one of the predictions of the Holy Quran.This took place in mecca before the prophet (saw) migrated to medina.Allah says;

Alif¬Lam¬Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. (Ar-Rum 30:1)

The Romans have been defeated. (Ar-Rum 30:2)

In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. (Ar-Rum 30:3)

Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians), (Ar-Rum 30:4)

With the help of Allah, He helps whom He wills, and He is the All¬Mighty, the Most Merciful. (Ar-Rum 30:5)

The sahabas were sad that the Christians lost the battle.

The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy. (Al-Hujurat 49:10)

The kuffar were mocking the Muslims, especially Abu Bakr, the prophet (saw) said you will make allegiance with Rum to fighting against the anti-Christ, this is one of the sign of the last hours. Who is the anti-Christ, they are the Jews.More Muslims countries will go to the Russians camps because Russia is anti- Zionists.Russia is against the Jews and American is pro-Jewish State.

It was narrated that Jubair bin Nufair said: "Jubair said to me: 'Let's go to Dhu Mikhmar, who was a man from among the Companions of the Prophet (SAW).' So I went with them and he asked him about the peace treaty (with the Romans). He said: 'I heard the Prophet (SAW) say: "The Romans will enter into a peace treaty with you, then you and they will fight one another as enemies, and you will be victorious; you will collect the spoils of war and be safe. Then you will stop in a meadow with many hillocks. A man from among the people of the Cross will raise the Cross and will say: 'The Cross has prevailed.' Then a man among the Muslims will become angry and will go and break the Cross. Then the Romans will prove treacherous (breaking the treaty) (and will gather) for the fierce battle." [Ibn Majah (Vol. 5, p.215) No. 4089, Abu Dawud (Vol. 4, p.109) No. 4292, Musnad Ahmad (Vol. 5, p.371) No. 23205]

Question 4: Is there 4 Rakat Asr sunnah on kitab fiqh us sunnah?
Answer 4: Some of Shaikhs’ shaikhs would not tolerate 4 rakat, do 2 rakat give salaam and then do 2 more rakat (not 4 rakat straight).

Question 5: Is "Heavenly ornaments Bahishti Zewar by Maulana ashraf ali thanvi" a reliable book? jzk do you know anything about that maulana?
Answer 5: This is one of the stalwart of the Tablighi Jamm'at movement; it has a lot of mistakes in it. Take fiqh and aqeedah from the ulama on haqq. Take your deen from Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn Kathir.

(24/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part18]

Question1: A little child (aged 3) sleep walks, talks while sleeping, has nightmares etc and was even once found in a closet. Does that mean the baby is being affected by Jinn?
Answer 1: There is no doubt that he is possessed by the jinn by the symptoms you have described. You need to stop playing music in your house and play surah baqarah to chase away the shaytan.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited. [Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith #1707]

Question 2: Shaikh we know that abandoning the salah makes one a kaafir. But Rasoolullah (saw) when he was asked by Jibril a.s, what is Islam he named the 5 pillars. So my question is, if a person abandons any one of the 5 pillars does it make him a kaafir?
Answer 2: The companions of the Prophet (saw) said that the one who abandons salah is a kaafir.

Narrated 'Abdullah ibn Shaqiq al-'Aqeely, "The companions of Muhammad (SAW), did not consider the abandonment of any act, with the exception of prayer, as being disbelief (kufr)." (Tirmizhi and al-Hakim, who said it met al-Bukahri's and Muslim's conditions)

Abu Hurayra said, "When the Messenger of Allah (SAW), died and Abu Bakr was khalifa and those of the Arabs who were going to reject rejected, 'Umar said, 'How can we fight people when the Messenger of Allah said, "I am commanded to fight people until they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Whoever says that, his property and life are protected from me, except when there is a legal right to them, and his reckoning is up to Allah."?' Abu Bakr said, 'By Allah, I will fight anyone who makes a distinction between prayer and zakat! Zakat is the right which is due on wealth. By Allah, if they refuse me a nose- rope which they used to pay to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I will fight them for refusing it!' 'Umar said, 'By Allah, then I realised that Allah had expanded Abu Bakr's breast in respect of the decision to fight and I recognised that it was the truth." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

But don’t forget that, when Abu Bakr was the caliph, the kuffar refused to pay the jiziyah. If a person is young and healthy and didn’t fast, and dies, then he is a zindeeq.Any 5 pillar of Islam, if they are abandon the person becomes kaafir. But those who didn’t pay zakah at the time of Abu Bakr they had there reason even though they were wrong.

On the authority of Abu Abdul Rahmaan Abdullah (RA), the son of Umar ibn al-Kattaab (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: "Islam is built upon five [pillars]: testifying that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayers, giving zakat, making pilgrimage to the House and fasting the month of Ramadan.” (Recorded in Bukhari and Muslim) “He who possess enough food for the trip, a means of transportation to reach to Makkah, and yet does not perform Hajj, then he dies, he would then die as a Jew or a Christian” (At-Tirmithi, Al-Bazzaar, and others).

If someone does not pray out of laziness is a kaafir but you cannot make takfeer on them until the hujjah is presented.Buraidah reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "The pact between us and them is prayer. Whoever abandons it is a disbeliever." (Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, at-Tirmizhi, anNasa'i and Ibn Majah.)

But the hanabali fiqh uses the ayah 9:111 to make takfeer on those who do not pray.If the person continues not to pray you make takfeer on them because the hujjah is 9:111. You cannot argue with the hujjah.

But if they repent, perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat, then they are your brethren in religion. (In this way) We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail for a people who know. (At-Tawbah 9:11)

If you argue with the hujjah your head is gone. But you need the caliph to do that or the ameer, you cannot do it.

'Abdur-Rahmaan Ibn Muhammad Ibn Habeeb Ibn Abee Habeeb on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather [who] said:I witnessed Khaalid Ibn 'Abdullah Al-Qasree - and he addressed them at Waasit - "Oh People, make sacrifice, may Allah accept it from you. Verily I am sacrificing Al-Ja'd Ibn Dirham, for indeed he claims that Allah did not take Ibrahim as a khaleel (close friend), and [that] He did not speak to Moosa. Most Perfect is He and exalted is He from what Al-Ja'd says." Then he descended and slaughtered him. I say: And the Jahmiyyah and Mu'tazilah speak with this, and they distort the text of the revelation regarding that, and they claim that the Lord is purified of that [i.e. having spoken to Moses and taken Ibrahim as a khalil]Mukhtasar al-Uluww" of adh-Dhahabi, (p.133).

Khalid Abdullah al khasri addressed the people at eid, he sacrificed Al ja'ad after the hujjah was presented. These people had the aqeedah of the mutazilites. But however you cannot go around chopping people’s heads of, you need the caliph to do that because your hujjah might be dodgy. Everyone thinks they have the hujjah. Allah said in the Quran that every group thinks they have the hujjah.

But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. (Al-Mu'minun 23:53)

This is one of the signs of the last days, every group thinking they’re correct with their hujjah even though it may be wrong.

Question 3: What is the best hanbali fiqh book on salah, do you know where I can find the information?Answer 3: We have already given you the hanbali way to pray in this room. You don’t need to go read a book.

The tashahud is:' As salaamu alan Naabi' NOT 'asaalmu alayka'

Narrated Ibn Mas'ud Allah's Apostle taught me the Tashah-hud as he taught me a Sura from the Quran, while my hand was between his hands. (Tashah-hud was) all the best compliments and the prayers and the good things are for Allah. Peace and Allah's Mercy and Blessings be on you, O Prophet! Peace be on us and on the pious slaves of Allah, I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I also testify that Muhammad is Allah's slave and His Apostle. (We used to recite this in the prayer) during the lifetime of the Prophet, but when he had died, we used to say, "Peace be on the Prophet." Bukhari -Volume 8, Book 74, Number 281

The books might not tell you the right way to read the tashahud, or may tell you to wag your finger in the salah. Imaam Nawwai refutes this.

Imam Nawawi mentions in the Majmu‘ (3.454) from Abu Dawud and others with a sound chain of narrators on the authority Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubayr, that he described the prayer of the Prophet (SAW) by saying, “He would point with his finger while supplicating without moving it.” As for what is present in the narration that mentions, that he (SAW) “used to move it”, the expression, “move it is an unreliable anomalous (Ar. shadhdh) narration because the narrator who relates [this Hadith] on the authority of the Companion Wael Ibn Hujr (RA) contradicts everyone else who narrated from him.

The hujjah on how to pray is in bukhari, and shaikh is here to give it to you.

Question 4: A woman is refusing to have ruqiyah done on her for something she has been suffering from non-stop. She has been suffering from excessive bleeding for almost 8 years now. She is refusing because she wishes to be among the 70, 000 who will enter Jannah without any hisaab. This has harmed her health a lot. Is she sinful for refusing to get ruqiyah done on her?
Answer 4: She is sinful because Allah said don’t kill yourself, and she is stopping her husband from his rights. She needs Ruqiyah she has jinn problems.Allah says:

Ta¬Ha. (Ta-Ha 20:1)

We have not sent down the Qur'an unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, (Ta-Ha 20:2)

And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you. (An-Nisa 4:29)

Always remember the surah 20:1-2 to refute the extremist. The scholars use 20:1-2 to check mate those who make the religion a burden. If you are starving, and all you find is pork, if you don’t eat it, you would be committing suicide.

Question 5: Salam alaikum, is the Al Aqsa mosque also al haram like Medina and Mecca ?
Answer 5: Only Mecca & Medina is the Harram.

Abu Sa’eed Khudri (RA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Journeys may not be made (for visit) to any mosque but three: Masjid Haram (Bayt Allah), my mosque (Masjid Nabawi) and Masjid Aqsa. [Tirmidhi 326, Ahmed 11483, Bukhari 1197, Muslim 827, Ibn e Majah 1410]

(25/04/12) The Sealed Nectar [Part19]

Question 1: When a person is prejudice they may stereotype, prejudge a group of people before knowing them. A racist is one who thinks he is better than one because of race is such a person a kaafir? Don’t they contradict the Qur'an and the Prophet (saw) and aren't they like the shaytaan?
Answer 1: If a white girl wants to marry a non-white man, it’s not racism but preference. If Indian man wants to marry from other culture, is not racism, but preference. SH's experience as matchmaker, people want to marry for cultural or sensual reasons. Reverts have no pressure to marry certain races but born Muslims prefer to marry born Muslim. You're a racist when you believe in superiority of one race over the other, if you prefer a kaafir of any colour causes you to prefer them over your Muslim brother/sister.The madhab of Ibliss is racism. Some people can't marry from a same race; they prefer someone to be different, no race is better only taqwah is yardstick to judge.

O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Al-Hujurat 49:13)

Question 2: A brother called me and he wants to get married to a girl. This girl is a revert and she hasn't got a wali to get married, how does she do to choose a wali because there's no Muslims in her family and the imam wants to get them married only if they go to the council of the kuffar to marry first?
Answer 2: Reverts normally choose their own wali, they appoint a pious brother to be their wali. Sh once appointed a friend to be wali for a white revert and the wali then asked her to marry him. The wali wanted to marry such a girl who he was wali for, they are happily married with 1 child. The sister didn't do anything wrong, she was in the UK and they know each other so well.

Question 3: Some sahabas left Islam then returned back. Who was the sahabi who was a murtad and called himself a nabi then came back to Islam? Also if a Muslim does an act of shirk like sajdah to someone other than Allah does he need to reject it in his heart then say shahadah again and do taubah? Plus which shirk that is major might be forgiven like voting etc.
Answer 3: This is a 3 part question, make your taubah before you die (no need to say Shahadah again). We're to hate the kufr in our heart and then make taubah, but not need to take Shahadah every time you make sin .You make 2 rakat of taubah and then tashahhudand trust Allah 'tala forgives you. When you make taubah, you don't lose your previous good deeds.

I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of …al-Buhkari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah)

(26/04/12)The sealed nectar [Part20]

Question 1: Shaykh what is to be done with the 1/5 of the booty from jihad that is reserved for Allah (swt) and his messenger (saw) by the amir?
Answer 1: That fifth belongs to the amir he represents the prophet (saw) he will take it as the baytul mal.

Question 2: Salam Alaykum, Is the iron for men and women or do women become right hand possess?Answer 2: Women become right hand possess, men are killed, and women are taken as right hand possess. So they the kuffar have 4 months to make up your mind to take up Islam or pay the jizziyah or die. And women are not killed, only men are. The jiziyah is haraam to be taken from mecca; it should be only taken from people outside Mecca. The kufaar are not to be allowed in mecca. But jihaad against kufr and shirk must be taken place all over the world. In Islam there are no borders.

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world[]]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do. (Al-Anfal 8:39)

Fitnah in this ayah means shirk and kufr, so this is all over the world and Allah said in 2:190 fight those who fight you.

And fight in the Way of Allah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits. Truly, Allah likes not the transgressors. [This Verse is the first one that was revealed in connection with Jihad, but it was supplemented by another (V.9:36)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:190)

You cannot fight people of darul kufr, because they are not attacking you, fight those who fight you. The Prophet (saw) said don’t wish to meet the enemy, you have enough enemies to fight so don’t create any more enemies.

Narrated By Salim Abu An-Nadr: (The freed slave of 'Umar bin 'Ubaidullah) I was Umar's clerk. Once Abdullah bin Abi Aufa wrote a letter to 'Umar when he proceeded to Al-Haruriya. I read in it that Allah's Apostle in one of his military expeditions against the enemy, waited till the sun declined and then he got up amongst the people saying, “O people!

Question 3: Shaikh, Can a person have Taqwa if he or she doesn't pray? And how many days if one doesn’t pray makes you into a kaafir.
Answer 3: Whenever a person does not pray you should lock them up in prison, and provide them with water, to make wadhu. And when the time of salaah comes and they don’t pray, you can cut their heads off and bury them in the graveyards of the kuffar. This is the madhab of imam hambal, regarding the one who does not pray. You should also give him a prayer mat, and show him the qiblaah. This is for the one who is sane, and not a child.

Question 4: When you say those who believe they have covenants with the west are munafiqeen, do you mean if they use it as an excuse to stay there and just love living with the kuffar? What about those who say there is no covenant and they still live there and they say its ok to have girlfriends it’s my Sabi and they take drugs and alcohol saying its taqiyya?
Answer 4: You have to subdue the lands before you take concubine. You cannot take any lady as your concubine in Darul Harb.

Those who say there is a COS, and then go to the embassies and scream 'Narreh Takbeer' and then go home and think they have done something for Islam, this is wrong. The only thing you should be doing is to be at the front line doing jihaad. The ayah 8:67 is regarding concubines. These people who do this i.e take concubines in Darul Harb are wrong, you will be arrested for rape.

O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done. (Al-Hujurat 49:6)

It is enough to call a man a liar that he narrates everything he hears" Saheeh al-Jaami' 4482 and Jaami' as-Sagheer.

Allah said verify the story of the faasiq (A muslim who is weak in eeman)So how much do you think you have to verify of the news of the kuffar?tabayyanu" = verifying what you hearPeople do not like to verify gossip, people like gossip, they find it entertainment for free, like the sun newspaper in UK. But the Hadith says, if you carry what you hear, you are classed as a liar.

Do not let your hatred to cause you to be unjust towards people, be Just!O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well¬ Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma'idah 5:8)

Beware! Sometimes you become something that you hate. You are living amongst the British/Americans; they won’t be just towards you because they hate you! You're putting a burden on them more than they can bear, that’s why you should marry someone you Love, because if you don’t love your spouse you could oppress them.

Jamilah (sister of ‘Abdullah ibn Ubayy), came to the Prophet (SAW) and said: “O Messenger of Allah (SAW), I have nothing against Thabit ibn Qays as regards his religion or his behaviour, but I hate to commit any act of kufr when I am a Muslim. The Prophet (SAW) said: “Will you give his garden back to him?” - her mahr had been a garden. She said, “Yes.” So the Messenger of Allah (SAW) sent word to him: “Take back your garden, and give her one pronouncement of divorce.” 3 3. Fath al-Bari, 9/395, Kitab al-talaq, bab al-khul'.Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): The wife of Thabit bin Qais came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I do not blame Thabit for defects in his character or his religion, but I, being a Muslim, dislike behaving in un-Islamic manner (if I remain with him)." On that Allah's Apostle said (to her), "Will you give back the garden which your husband has given you (as Mahr)?" She said, "Yes." Then the Prophet said to Thabit, "O Thabit! Accept your garden, and divorce her once." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol 7, Book 63, No. 197)

Like the story if the female sahabi (The wife of Thabit bin Qais). Look how wise the Prophet (saws) was he let them go there separate ways, he didn't force them. When you live in a loveless marriage, you age very fast. The prophet didn't force the marriage of Thabit but rather the Prophet (saw) told them to go there separate ways.

Question 5: Asalaam Alaykum sheikh, i heard someone say he sat with fire worshippers to watch what they do. Does this make him kaafir and should i make takfir on him. Also people argue that we should learn about false religions to know them. Is this the way of dawah?
Answer 5: Ibn Tayyimyah used to study Greek philosophy so he could refute it.

Umar Ibn al-Khattab (RA) said: "A man who only knows goodness might see evil and he does not recognise that it is evil. And a man who grew up in Islam and does not know what is Jahiliya may lose his Islam bit by bit till he loses his Deen." [Ibn Taymiyyah, Majmua Al-Fataawa (10/301)]

Umar ibn al-Khattab delivered a Khutbah to us and said: "By the Lord of the Kaba do you know when the Arabs will be destroyed?" A man got up and said: 'O Ameerul Mu'mineen! When will the Arabs be destroyed?' "The Arabs will be destroyed when they are ruled by a man who does not address the ills of Jahiliya and he was not a companion of the Rasool (SAW)." [Narrated by Ibn Abi Shaybah in 'Musannaf' (6/410), Ibn Sa'd in 'Tabaqat' (6/129), al-Hakim in 'Mustadrak' (4/475) Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (6/69), Abu Naim in 'al-Hilya' (7/243) and Ibn Kathir in 'al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah' (11/650)]

Umar said you can’t know Islam unless you know jahiliya. Also this person is not a kaafir if they just wanted to find out what the fire-worshipping is about.

Question 6: Did Ibrahim (as) have a third wife named "Qatura" from whom Prophet Shu'yab (as) was born?
Answer 6: Your question needs research especially it’s away from the topic. The reason why it needs research is because it is commenting of the Israelites, (sayings from the Jews). The Prophet (saw) said stay away from this.

Question 7: Shaikh how do you combined Salah Zuhr and Salah Asr when you live in Darul Harb and you have to work.
Answer 7: When you leave from work, you can join your salah at Dhur or Asr time, or magrib and isha.Combining the two prayers due to some illness.

Ahmad, Qadi Hussain, al-Khattabi, and al-Mutawali of the Shaf'i school are of the opinion that it is allowed to combine two prayers, either during the time of the earlier or later salah, due to illness as it is a greater hardship than rain. An-Nawawi says: "This is a strong opinion based on [sound] evidence." In al-Mughni it is stated: "The illness which permits one to combine the prayers is the one which would otherwise cause hardship and more weakness [if he prayed each salah separately]."The Hanbali school is the most accommodating as it allows one to combine the prayers, at the time of the early or later salah, for one who is ill as well as for the woman who is breast-feeding and will face hardship in cleaning her dress for every salah, for the woman who is plagued by a prolonged flow of blood, for the person who cannot control his urine, and for one who cannot purify himself or herself, and for the one who fears for his life, property, or family. You can join your prayers when you are busy/travelling/tired/ or at the battle field.Ibn Taimiyyah says: "Among the opinions the most accommodating on this question is that of the Hanbali school which allows one to combine the prayers if he is busy (since an-Nasa'i has related something to that effect from the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam) and they also say that the cook and baker, and so forth, may also combine their prayers if they fear their wealth (i.e., their investment or what they are working on) will otherwise be ruined." [Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Vol 2, Book 37, 2.118]

(28/04/12) The Sealed Nectar [Part21]

Question 1: The Prophet (saw) did Hajj Qiran only, what advise did he give us or which hajj is best?Answer 1: The best Hajj is the Qiraan Hajj, but if you cannot afford to sacrifice an animal you do the Ifraad Hajj. The Prophet (saw) did the Qiraan Hajj.

Question 2: A sister who is part of 'jamatal muslimeen' said, almuntada school (in London) the managements are mushriks. Her reason being that they brought the police in to the school and presented them to the kids as 'the people who help us'. There is no doubt that what they did was totally unacceptable! My question is, don't you have to establish the hujjah first?
Answer 2: Now this sister, shaikh doesn’t know if you can say 'mushrik' that’s a bit strong. The school inviting the police to the school, to meet the children that’s, because they are in bed with the taghoot. They are saudi salafis, what do you expect? They don’t reject the taghoot they are in bed with them! Jammat ul Muslimeen are extreme! They believe that if you go to Mecca and medina to perform hajj/umrah your umrah and hajj is not excepted because its darul harb, this is extreme. They say they won’t pray behind the imaam of saudi they rather pray in their hotel room. They also believe that, if you download paltalk/sykpe/msn, when you click the 'i agree button' they make takfir on you. They are harsh with their takfeer like the khawarij. They said to shaikh in the UK that he needs to be harsher with his takfeer. They have a lot of issues, if they go to a country like Malaysia or Pakistan and meet a man named Muhammad they won’t except that man as a Muslim because they say that person is guilty until proven innocent. They want to quiz/question you and see what your aqeedah is.They will never give you benefit over the doubt.

Question 3: As Salaamu alaikum shaykh I wanted to know will you ever give a dars on the prophet as a step-father and foster parent. I know that many do not talk about it with the exception of you.
Answer 3: Now the Rasool (saw) when he married Umm Salamah he used to play with his step kids. Her name was zaynaab, and he used to play with her and make her happy.SH in the UK had a step daughter, she was closer to him than her own mother! When your wife and step children look back, you want them to say they had the best husband/best step father, you don’t want to be a wife beater.
The Prophet (saw) was eating with his step son one day, the prophet (saw) taught him Islamic adhaab.

Narrated By 'Umar bin Abi Salama: I was a boy under the care of Allah's Apostle and my hand used to go around the dish while I was eating. So Allah's Apostle said to me, 'O boy! Mention the Name of Allah and eat with your right hand, and eat of the dish what is nearer to you." Since then I have applied those instructions when eating. [Bukhari #5061 & Muslim #2022]

Question 4: Shaikh I confronted a magician and told her to stop what she’s doing and repent and she denied she is one. What can i do now InshaAllah?
Answer 4: You cannot kill her because you are not in an Islamic state. In a Muslims countries like Morocco/Pakistan and such you have magicians in every village.

Bajaalah (RA) said: “`Umar ibn Al-Khattaab (RA) wrote to us commanding us to kill every sorcerer, male or female.” [Musnad Ahmad (Vol. 2, pg.302) No. 1657, Sunan-ul-Baihaqee, Vol. 8 pg.247 & Vol. 9, pg.189]

But you cannot kill them because there is no Islamic state; When Umar was a caliph he used to kill the magicians. But how do you know whether its magic or a trick, it must be magic to kill them, but however you cannot take matters in your own hands. Darul Harb has turned people into low life scums of the earth.

Question 5: A brother said hijrah nowadays is not the same as before as all the governments are dar ul kufr and the muslim lands aren’t any better. Which lands do we move to if there’s no Dar al Islam?
Answer 5: Ok this brother is right to a certain extent. The countries of today are Darul Harb and Darul Kufr. There are two Dars:
1. Darul Kufr- Such as Brazil/South Africa Countries that do not kill Muslims, or imprison them.
2. Darul Harb- such countries like America/UK/ They kill and imprison MuslimsBut you cannot leave and migrate from Darul Harb because you love it, like Luut A.s wife.

Allah said: Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! (An-Nisa 4:97)

When someone educates themselves as a doctor or such, get your education and go to a muslin country. Don’t stay there and pay taxes, they kill Muslims with this moneyBut shaikh won’t make takfeer on you, but he says make hijrah because of the 4:97. Some people cannot make hijjrah especially women.

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “The Dajjal will come to this pond in Marriqanaat (a valley in Madina). Most of the people who follow the Dajjal will be women till a man has to use rope to tie up his mother, daughter, sister and aunt out of fear that they will leave the home to follow the Dajjal. Then Allah will grant victory to the Muslims over the Dajjal so the Muslims will kill the Dajjal and his party who will be the Jews. The Jews will run behind a tree and a stone to hide from the Muslims and the tree and the stone will call out 'O Muslim a Jew is behind me so come and kill him.’" [Musnad Ahmad (2/67) No. 5353 and Tabarani in ‘al-Mu’jam al-Kabir’ (12/307) No. 13197]

The prophet (saw) said that when the dajjal comes, majority of the followers would be women and the men have to tie their women at home. They love darul harb, they can’t leave, and you can be waiting for them in the airport but they won’t come. They don’t have tawaqul in Allaah, they think they will starve.

(29/04/12)The Sealed Nectar [Part22]

Question 1: If you miss ifadah tawaf (tawaf e ziarat) on 10th, and it was busy, can we do this on the 12th before Maghrib ends?
Answer1: You have to do it, you have no choice, and if you don't do it your hajj is batil.

Question 2: Shaykh i don't agree with the opinion that the paedophile (child rapist) is not killed under the circumstances you named. Because they destroy children and as you said some girls become lesbians because of this kind of thing, some suffer from mental problems and self-esteem issue i think they should be killed I would kill a man who raped my child is there any scholar who agree with my opinion on them? It doesn't even make sense to kill a man who rapes an adult woman but not a child.
Answer 2: If man rapes the child, he is killed. When Shaikh was studying this, there were child rapists killed there in darul Islam. But to pronounce the hukm, it is left up to the judge in courthouse (Shariah court) whether he rapes child or adult a layman can't take matters in his own hands.

Question 3: Is it true the Nabi sallahu alayhi wasalam died on the 12th rabi awwal also is there a hadith saying jibrael told him his grandson Hussein was to be killed?
Answer 3: The most famous day are the 12th and 9th of rabi awwal (12th is most popular opinion). The Rasool knew things to happen to his Sahabahs but we don't know a Hadeeth that claims he knew about Hussein's death.

Question 4: Asalamu alaykum Sheikh, i know a sheikh who studied at AL-azhar in MSR. He sometimes makes fun of the beards and the trousers above the ankle, and basically other aspects of the sunnah even niqab. Is he a kafir? Also i asked him about the hadith from imam An nawawis 40 hadith where they Rasul said i have been ordered to the mankind until he said when the Rasul said this he was specifically referring to the mushriks in his time and not now. Can you please explain this? I sometimes pray behind him and sometime i don’t because I’m not sure if he is a kafir or not. jzk khayr
Answer 4: He is a Kaafir see Tawbah 65, 66. He is a kaafir with a dodgy aqeedah.

If you ask them (about this), they declare: "We were only talking idly and joking." Say: "Was it at Allah, and His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and His Messenger (SAW) that you were mocking?" (At-Tawbah 9:65)

Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you because they were Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). (At-Tawbah 9:66)

Mocking aspects of Islam make you a kaafir; he put a spin on the Hadeeth. He has made up his own religion.

It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said: This religion will continue to exist, and a group of people from the Muslims will continue to fight for its protection until the Hour is established. [Sahih Muslim, Book 20, Hadith #4717]

We're not to laugh at any aspect of Islam - see Kufr in Perspective.

Question 5: I had a dream i see my house empty and i see a white man and i seen myself holding his leg and break his back can you explain my dream.
Answer 5: You have an enemy and he will invade your house, an altercation will take place between you and your enemy, they want to spy on you.You might catch them in the act, you must be living in darul harb where they declared war on Allah 'tala , His Rasool and the Ummah. Make hijra if you can.
