RECAP

AYAH 45

Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'an), and perform As-Salat (IqamatasSalat). Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do. (Al-'Ankabut 29:45)

Recap on this ayah
- this ayah is a very important ayah of surah Ankabut
- the prophet (SAW) was told to recite the Quran, why?
- because this Quran is a shifa' a cure, spiritually
- an Alim cures you spiritually, like a doctor would cure you physically
- a person who cures you spiritually is more important than the one who cures you physically
- the Prophet (SAW) said:

Narrated By 'Uthman: The Prophet said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #545]

Abu Darda narrated the Messenger of Allah said: “All in the heavens and earth and the fish in the depth of the water seek forgiveness for the scholar, and the superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the full moon at night over the rest of the stars. Verily the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets. Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune.” [Musnad Ahmad (5/196) No. 21763; Also related by Abu Dawud (2/341) No. 3641; at-Tirmidhi (5/48) No. 2682; Ibn Majah (1/150) No. 223, ad-Daarimee (1/110) No. 342 and ibn Hibbaan (1/289) No. 88]

- for Allah to bless you with knowledge and you leave it off to do another job
- this means you do not appreciate Allah's blessings
- Allah told you to recite the Quran because it is a cure physically and spiritually

Narrated By Abu Said: A group of the companions of Allah's Apostle proceeded on a journey till they dismounted near one of the Arab tribes and requested them to entertain them as their guests, but they (the tribe people) refused to entertain them. Then the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion) and he was given all sorts of treatment, but all in vain. Some of them said, "Will you go to the group (those travelers) who have dismounted near you and see if one of them has something useful?" They came to them and said, "O the group! Our leader has been bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion) and we have treated him with everything but nothing benefited him Has anyone of you anything useful?" One of them replied, "Yes, by Allah, I know how to treat with a Ruqya. But. by Allah, we wanted you to receive us as your guests but you refused. I will not treat your patient with a Ruqya till you fix for us something as wages." Consequently they agreed to give those travelers a flock of sheep. The man went with them (the people of the tribe) and started spitting (on the bite) and reciting Surat-al-Fatiha till the patient was healed and started walking as if he had not been sick. When the tribe people paid them their wages they had agreed upon, some of them (the Prophet's companions) said, "Distribute (the sheep)." But the one who treated with the Ruqya said, "Do not do that till we go to Allah's Apostle and mention to him what has happened, and see what he will order us." So they came to Allah's Apostle and mentioned the story to him and he said, "How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? You have done the right thing. Divide (what you have got) and assign for me a share with you." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 7, Book 71, Hadith #645]

- Imaam Shafi’i said you can charge people money when you teach them Quraan properly
- why? because he used the example when the Rasool married a women to a man
- and his dowry was him teaching her Quran

Sahl ibn Sad Saidi (RA) reported that a woman came to Allah’s Messenger (SAW) and said, “I submit myself to you”. Then, she stood for a long time. A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, marry me to her, if you do not need her”. He said, “Do you have anything to give her (by way of dower)?’ He said, “I have nothing but this lower wrapper of the body”. So, Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If you give it to her then you will sit and have no lower garment on you. So, Look out for something else”. He said, “I do not find”. The Prophet (SAW) said, “Search, even if you find an iron ring”. He said, “I sought but could not find anything”. So, Allah’s Messenger asked him, “Do you have with you anything of the Qur’an?” He said, “Yes, That surah, and that surah. So Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “I marry you, to her with what you have of the Qur’an”. [Sahih Bukhari (6/192) No. 5029, Sahih Muslim (2/1040) No. 1425, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/421) 1114, Musnad Ahmad (5/330) No. 22850, Sunan An-Nasa'i (6/123) No. 3359]

- so when imam shafi’i passed this fatwa, he done it with Hujjah
- Muslims have Ghayra for their deen because they do not want people to corrupt their deen
- when a person is a munafiq they have no jealousy for their deen
- they will take their aqeedah from people like Yusuf Qaradawi
- they will not take their deen from the mujahideen or the ulema who take from them

Recite (O Muhammad SAW) - This is a commandment from Allah
-the Quran is hujjah

Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said in the Jumu’ah khutbah: "...To proceed. The best of the speech is embodied in the Book of Allah, and the best of the guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad. And the most evil affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is error..." [Sahih Muslim (2/592) No. 867]

- if you are debating a Shi’ite or Parvezi you have to give Quran ayats as your hujjah no hadith
- you should be able to use Quran, when you are in trouble, like Aisha (RA) did

And they brought his shirt stained with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your ownselves have made up a tale. So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert." (Yusuf 12:18)

- she was able to recite this ayah why? because she was a scholar
- when the man approached Hassan al-Bassri about the fitna of Mu'awiyah and Ali
- he quoted Surah 2:134

That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do. (Al-Baqarah 2:134)

- do not waste your time on unnecessary matters
- pay attention on things that are happening in Syria and Palestine etc
- pay attention on fiqhul waaqi

- the Quran has to be recited for the people because it is a protection
- when you go on a journey you recite:

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subhāna Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Lanā Hādhā Wa Mā Kunnā Lahu Muqrinīna, Wa 'innā 'ilá Rabbinā Lamunqalibūna

…"Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts)." (13) And verily, to Our Lord we indeed are to return! (14) (Az-Zukhruf 43:13-14)

- ayatul kursi is a protection also, it protects your house from theft

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah 's Apostle ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, "I will take you to Allah's Apostle!" Then Abu Huraira described the whole narration and said) That person said (to me), "(Please don't take me to Allah's Apostle and I will tell you a few words by which Allah will benefit you.) When you go to your bed, recite Ayat-al-Kursi, (2.255) for then there will be a guard from Allah who will protect you all night long, and Satan will not be able to come near you till dawn." (When the Prophet heard the story) he said (to me), "He (who came to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar; and it was Satan." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #530]

- the Quran is soothing for the heart and mind
- it also drives out the shaytan from our homes

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited. [Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith #1707]

- because it drives the shayateen out of our homes
- this is why it was a commandment from Allah to Muhammad to recite the Quran
- the Quran is also a form of dhikr
- everything in the dunya is cursed except three

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) that which pleases Allah; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.'' [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/561) 2322 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/231) 4112, (Abu Eesa al-Tirmidhi said: this hadeeth is hasan ghareeb)]

- the Quran has to be recited because it gives you taqwa
- Surah 8:2 tells us that the Quran increases our eeman

The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur'an) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone); (Al-Anfal 8:2)

- this is why Abu Bakr used to cry when the Quran was recited
- the Quran is also Scientific, the Quran is also historic

Do they not then think deeply in the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)? (Muhammad 47:24)

- the whole point of reading the Quran is for you to ponder
- you will never appreciate the Quran, until you learn tafseer of the Quran

Psychology and Sociology:
- the Quran is also criminology, like when in the Quran, Yusuf (AS) father spoke about Yusuf’s shirt
- Allah tells us about sexual harassment in the Quran
- like when Zulayka tried to rip of the shirt of Yusuf

DHIKR GIVES YOU SUCCESS

O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allah much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful. (Al-Anfal 8:45)

Dhikr also gives you peace of heart like Allah mentions in Surah 13:28

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (Ra'd 13:28)

- Dhikr causes you to gain Allah's forgiveness
- like when Yunus (AS) was in the belly of the whale
- and he made dhikr of Allah and the angels and the fish in the sea interceded for him
- Allah ordered the whale to spit him out, and Allah said if he did not make that dhikr
- then Allah would of left him in the belly of the whale till the day of judgement

…the men and the women who remember Allah much with their hearts and tongues (while sitting, standing, lying, etc. for more than 300 times extra over the remembrance of Allah during the five compulsory congregational prayers) or praying extra additional Nawafil prayers of night in the last part of night, etc.) Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). (Al-Ahzab 33:35)

- At the end part of ayah 29:45 Allah tells us He Knows everything of what we do

And with Him are the keys of the Ghaib (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in (or on) the earth and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record. (Al-An'am 6:59)

- Allah also tells us that he knows about every single leaf that falls on the earth

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). (Qaf 50:16)

- Allah also tells us that He is closer to us than our jugular vein, this means by His Knowledge
- the Goofy Soofis take this literally and use it for their zandaqah (Wahdat al-Wujud)

AYAH 46

And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)." (Al-'Ankabut 29:46)

- the ones that are rebellious to the haqq, do not invite them to Islam
- you are throwing sliver and gold to the swine and wasting your time, they are not worth a dime
- only invite those who are interested
- this ayah is similar to surah 16:125

Invite (mankind, O Muhammad SAW) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided. (An-Nahl 16:125)

- the tafseer for this ayah 'invite to the way of your Lord with Hikmah'
- means to call them to tawheed
- in darul harb you call the people to tawheed, not shariah
- ask yourself, how do you call them to Salah and Zakah when they do not believe in a God?

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen, he said to him, "You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93, Hadith #469]

- why do you contradict the prophet? when Mu'adh was sent to Yemen
- he was told to tell the people to call to tawheed
- so when you are on the dawah stalls, do not tell them this and this is haram etc
- invite them to they way of Allah with hikmah, invite people to MONOTHEISM

- what this verse tells us ayah 46
- we believe what came down to the Jews and Christians
- what is it that came down to them? TAWHEED

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? (Mark 12:28) King James Version

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord. (Mark 12:29) King James Version

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matthew 19:17) King James Version

- this is what we believe
- this is tawheed in the bible

ASK CHRISTIANS: SINCE JESUS SAID DO NOT CALL ME GOOD, HOW CAN WE CALL HIM GOD?
- every prophet came down with the same message 'LA ILAHA ILLAL LA'
- Allah said:

And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghût[] (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghût besides Allah)." Then of them were some whom Allah guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth). (An-Nahl 16:36)

-it also says in the ayah:

…our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)." (Al-'Ankabut 29:46)

MUSLIMS, CHRISTIANS AND JEWS BELIEVE:
- in the same God, Hellfire, Heaven, the flood of Nuh, the Ruuh, the same God, life after death etc
- the Christians in Malaysia took the government to court
- because they wanted to use the word Allah in their church
- because the word 'God' can be misused, the word God does no justice

IF THEY BELIEVE IN THE SAME GOD, THEN WHERE DID THEY GO ASTRAY?
- if Muslims, Christians and Jews believe in the same God, how did the Jews and Christians go astray?
- this is a million dollar question, they do not understand the tawheeds properly
- there are Four Tawheeds
- the Christians went wrong in tauheed al-Rububiyyah
- the Christians also went wrong in tauheed Asma wal Sifaat
- the Jews also went wrong in tauheed al-Rububbiyah

They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman (Solomon). Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Harût and Marût, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, "We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us)." (Al-Baqarah 2:102)

- the Christians say Allah begets a son, this is a lie
- they also say Allah rested on the 7th day, this is a lie

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (Genesis 2:2) King James Version

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Genesis 2:3) King James Version

- another way they the Jews and Christians went wrong
- is when they said Allah repented when He created man

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth." They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You" He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know." (Al-Baqarah 2:30)

- they went wrong in tauheed Asma wal Sifat
- in ways Allah did not use His Names to describe Himself with, they describe Allah by lying

How did the Christians go astray in tauheed Ibaadah?
- because they believe that Jesus is Allah
- Allah says: 5:72

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. (Al-Ma'idah 5:72)

- Also because they believe in the trinity, Allah says in 5:73

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. (Al-Ma'idah 5:73)

How did the Christians go wrong in tauheed hakimiyyah?
- because they worship their priest and rabbis

Imam Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Jarir At-Tabari recorded a Hadith via several chains of narration, from 'Adi bin Hatim (RA), who became a Christian during the time of Jahiliyya. When the call of the Messenger of Allah reached his area, 'Adi ran away to Ash-Sham, and his sister and several of his people were captured. The Messenger of Allah freed his sister and gave her gifts. So she went to her brother and encouraged him to become Muslim and to go to the Messenger of Allah. 'Adi, who was one of the chiefs of his people (the tribe of Tai') and whose father, Hatim At-Ta’i, was known for his generosity, went to Al-Madinah. When the people announced his arrival, 'Adi went to the Messenger of Allah wearing a silver cross around his neck. The Messenger of Allah recited this Ayah; They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah. 'Adi commented, "I said, ‘They did not worship them.’" The Prophet said, ((Yes they did. They (rabbis and monks) prohibited the allowed for them (Christians and Jews) and allowed the prohibited, and they obeyed them. This is how they worshiped them.)) … They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah… that the Christians and Jews obeyed their monks and rabbis in whatever they allowed or prohibited for them…" (Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Eng Abridged), First Edition: May 2000], Volume 4, pp. 409-410)

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded ) [in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilah (God - Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)[]. Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)." (At-Tawbah 9:31)

- the Christians make i.e. pork halal, when its haraam
- they make polygamy haraam even though Abraham had 2 wives

One day an ascetic came to Harun al-Rashid and said, ‘O Harun, fear God!’ Harun al-Rashid withdrew with him and said, ‘O fellow, treat me fairly. Who is more evil, me or the pharaoh?’ The ascetic replied, ‘Without doubt the pharaoh.’ Harun al-Rashid continued, ‘Then who is better, you yourself or Moses?’ He replied, ‘Without doubt Moses.’ Harun al-Rashid said, ‘Are you not aware that when He sent Moses and his brother to him [i.e. the pharaoh], He said to them, ‘Speak to him gently’, but you have harangued me with the most violent and unseemly words, you have not been schooled in the practice of God’s praiseworthy discipline nor have you adopted the good qualities of the righteous ones!’ The ascetic replied, ‘I ask God for forgiveness.’ He replied, ‘God has already pardoned you’ and ordered him to be given twenty thousand dirhams. However, the ascetic refused to accept it. These are the right manners. [Ibn al-Jawzi, al-Muntazam fi Tarikh al-umam (8/328) and Tarikh al-Tabari (8/358-359)]

"And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." (Ta-Ha 20:44)

Allah told us when we debate with the kuffaar to debate in a better manner
- Allah told Musa when he speaks to firaun to speak in mild manner

AYAH 47

And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e this Qur'an) to you (O Muhammad SAW), and those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) aforetime] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like 'Abdullah bin Salam) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayat [(proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc., and deny Our Oneness of Lordship and Our Oneness of worship and Our Oneness of Our Names and Qualities: i.e. Islamic Monotheism)]. (Al-'Ankabut 29:47)

Allah told us that he revealed the descriptions of Muhammad in the previous books very vividly
- the only ones who deny are evil
- Abdullah ibn Salam ( a Jewish rabbi) embraced Islam because of this reason
- because Muhammad (SAW) was described in the previous books
- in 2:146 Allah said:

Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognise him (Muhammad or the Ka'bah at Makkah) as they recongise their sons. But verily, a party of them conceal the truth while they know it - [i.e. the qualities of Muhammad which are written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:146)

AYAH 48

وَمَا كُنْتَ تَتْلُو مِنْ قَبْلِهِ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ إِذًا لَارْتَابَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ

Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Qur'an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted. (Al-'Ankabut 29:48)

- Allah is saying that you Muhammad did not read any books before the Quran
- Allah kept him illiterate as a hujjah against the kuffaar
- because if he was educated the kuffaar would have said
- he Muhammad wrote the book (The Quran) himself

He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error; (Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)

AYAH 49

Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). (Al-'Ankabut 29:49)

The prophet had a Jewish wife, Safiyyah (RA), she was a very good Muslim
- Safiyyah eavesdropped on her uncle and granddad when they spoke about Muhammad
- her uncle and granddad said that Muhammad is a prophet
- and he was mentioned in their book but denied because he was a Arab
- so she heard this and eeman entered her heart
- the worst racist is a Jew, the Jews want to tell Allah who to bless
- but Allah told us: See 2:105

But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty. (Al-Baqarah 2:105)

ALLAH KNOWS WHERE TO SEND HIS BLESSINGS

- they wrote THE TALMUD and said its better than what Allah revealed to Musa on Mount Sinai
- aql (intellect) = Jews prefer this, they prefer reason over revelation
- Jews are Mu’tazlites

AYAH 50

And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner." (Al-'Ankabut 29:50)

Jews want signs to come down from Allah
- CHRISTIANS say: Muhammad (SAW) went on a trip with his uncle
- (he was 12 and learned tawheed from Buhaira)

When the Messenger of Allah [pbuh] was twelve years old, he went with his uncle Abu Talib on a business journey to Syria. When they reached Busra (which was a part of Syria, in the vicinity of Howran under the Roman domain) they met a monk called Bahira (his real name was Georges), who showed great kindness, and entertained them lavishly. He had never been in the habit of receiving or entertaining them before. He readily enough recognized the Prophet [pbuh] and said while taking his hand: "This is the master of all humans. Allah will send him with a Message which will be a mercy to all beings." Abu Talib asked: "How do you know that?" He replied: "When you appeared from the direction of ‘Aqabah, all stones and trees prostrated themselves, which they never do except for a Prophet. I can recognize him also by the seal of Prophethood which is below his shoulder, like an apple. We have got to learn this from our books." He also asked Abu Talib to send the boy back to Makkah and not to take him to Syria for fear of the Jews. Abu Talib obeyed and sent him back to Makkah with some of his men servants. [Ibn Hisham 1/180-183; Za'd Al-Ma'ad 1/17]

- but we tell Christians, they believe in a TRINITY (God, the Son and Holy Spirit)
- Allah made takfir on you, Christians, you believe Jesus is God, see 5:72
- there is no excuse of ignorance

Jews want to see signs from Allah 'tala
- WHAT DID ALLAH SAY ABOUT SIGNS?

And nothing stops Us from sending the Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs) but that the people of old denied them. And We sent the she-camel to Thamûd as a clear sign, but they did her wrong. And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction). (Al-Isra 17:59)

But Allah 'tala has sent many signs
- they lied and said they would believe if they received signs but when the she-camel came
- they refused to believe, they broke their wallahi and they killed the she-camel of Allah 'tala
- when you ask for a sign to come from Allah, you find an excuse to reject it
- see 54:1, 2

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar 54:1)

And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (Al-Qamar 54:2)

Muhammad came with the best sign: QUR'AN
- the moon split but some still remain a kaafir after seeing signs
- there's no hafeez other than the Ummah of Muhammad (it is a barakah for us)
- see 54:17

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Al-Qamar 54:17)

- there is no hafeez of Bible, Torah or the Injeel
- we are the Ummah of isnaad, unbroken chain of transmitters leading back to Muhammad (SAW)

Why do kuffaar always say "BRING IT ON, MUJAHIDDEN?" - Pres George Bush Jr
- but they do not have the stomach for a 50 year war
- kuffaar always ask for punishment because man is impatient
- see 70:19 - 22

Verily, man (disbeliever) was created very impatient; (Al-Ma'arij 70:19)

Irritable (discontented) when evil touches him; (Al-Ma'arij 70:20)

And niggardly when good touches him;- (Al-Ma'arij 70:21)

Except those devoted to Salat (prayers). (Al-Ma'arij 70:22)
