RECAP

AYAH 46

And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)." (Al-'Ankabut 29:46)

The best way to argue with people of the book is by Tauheed
- when Allah said argue with them in things that matter, it means Tauheed
- do not use fiqh issues like cutting the hand of the thief or punishing the adulterer
- they will say 'why punish two adults who want to have fun'
- they cannot understand hijab, niqab etc

When the rasul (SAW) was sending Muadh to the people to the people of Yemen
- he asked to him to invite the people of the book to Tawheed first

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen, he said to him, "You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93, Hadith #469]

- there are people in Europe and America who call to Shariah, this scares the people
- because they always think about cutting the hands of the thief when they hear "Shariah"
- this is against the manhaj of the rasul (SAW)
- so when Allah said argue with them, it means Tauheed
- Allah said we should use 'Hikma' (wisdom)
- this means the right place, the right time and manner

He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. (Al-Baqarah 2:269)

- Imam Shafi’i had different fatwas for the same issue
- depending on when and where it was asked
- you should only invite a kaafir to Islam if he is interested

Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). (Al-A'la 87:9)

- Allah said in 87:9 that we should only give the dawah if it benefits

And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allah, lest they insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fairseeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do. (Al-An'am 6:108)

- in surah 6:108 He (SWT) said that we should not insult their deities
- else they will also insult Allah wrongfully without knowledge
- you should also be mild and gentle

"And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." (Ta-Ha 20:44)

- in 20:44 He told Musa (AS) to be mild with Firaun, even though he was the worst kaafir
- the kaafir will try to make you upset because he wants you to forget your knowledge
- they always debate dirty, they will jump away from the topic to upset you, just like a frog
- there is only one holy ghost (angel Gabriel)
- the rasul (SAW) told us to neither believe them nor reject what they say
- because they have no reference
- you can verify a hadith not a quotation from the bible
- because they lie against Allah and the Messengers
- they are an Ummah without a chain of reference
- a hadith has a chain of transmitters to the rasul (SAW)

But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. (Al-Mu'minun 23:53)

- Shi’ites, whether they are from Iran or Syria, they love and hate for the sake of Abdullah Ibn Sabah
- and Allah said that in the last days everyone will be happy with his or her creed

AYAH 47

And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e this Qur'an) to you (O Muhammad SAW), and those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) aforetime] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like 'Abdullah bin Salam) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayat [(proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc., and deny Our Oneness of Lordship and Our Oneness of worship and Our Oneness of Our Names and Qualities: i.e. Islamic Monotheism)]. (Al-'Ankabut 29:47)
How can they reject the signs, when they are the same as what is in their books
- Muhammad (SAW) is described exactly the same as he is in their books
- they have to be real kaafirs to disbelieve

Jews hate the rasul because they thought they he was going to be from them (the Jews)
- but he was from among the Arabs
- the Arabs are descendants of the other son of Abraham (AS) Ismael

Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognise him (Muhammad or the Ka'bah at Makkah) as they recongise their sons. But verily, a party of them conceal the truth while they know it - [i.e. the qualities of Muhammad which are written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:146)

- they recognised him but rejected him in the name of racism
- Allah said in 2:146 that they recognised him like they recognise their children
- they are racist just like Iblis (Shaitan), who was a Mu’tazlite too (he was the first)

AYAH 48

Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Qur'an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted. (Al-'Ankabut 29:48)

This ayah says that he (SAW) was right handed

He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error; (Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)

- he was unlettered and hence the kuffaar would not claim that he was the one writing the Quran
- his description was firmly grounded to the people of knowledge
- hence Waraqa recognised him when Khadija (RA) took him there

...Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while. Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari while talking about the period of pause in revelation reporting the speech of the Prophet "While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel who had visited me at the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah revealed the following Holy Verses (of Quran):'O you (i.e. Muhammad)! wrapped up in garments!' Arise and warn (the people against Allah's Punishment),... up to 'and desert the idols.' (74.1-5) After this the revelation started coming strongly, frequently and regularly." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 1, Hadith #003]

Buhira (the Christian) monk recognised him as soon as he saw him
- even though he was young then

When the Messenger of Allah [pbuh] was twelve years old, he went with his uncle Abu Talib on a business journey to Syria. When they reached Busra (which was a part of Syria, in the vicinity of Howran under the Roman domain) they met a monk called Bahira (his real name was Georges), who showed great kindness, and entertained them lavishly. He had never been in the habit of receiving or entertaining them before. He readily enough recognized the Prophet [pbuh] and said while taking his hand: "This is the master of all humans. Allah will send him with a Message which will be a mercy to all beings." Abu Talib asked: "How do you know that?" He replied: "When you appeared from the direction of ‘Aqabah, all stones and trees prostrated themselves, which they never do except for a Prophet. I can recognize him also by the seal of Prophethood which is below his shoulder, like an apple. We have got to learn this from our books." He also asked Abu Talib to send the boy back to Makkah and not to take him to Syria for fear of the Jews. Abu Talib obeyed and sent him back to Makkah with some of his men servants. [Ibn Hisham 1/180-183; Za'd Al-Ma'ad 1/17]

Allah did not leave any stone unturned in his descriptions in the books
- so they could easily recognise him
- Safiyya (RA) heard her father and uncle accepting him as the rasul
- but they chose hellfire over following him in the name of racism

Saffiyah says, "I was my father's and my uncle's favorite child. When the Messenger of Allah came to Madinah and stayed at Quba, my parents went to him at night and when they looked disconcerted and worn out. I received them cheerfully but to my surprise no one of them turned to me. They were so grieved that they did not feel my presence. I heard my uncle, Abu Yasir, saying to my father, 'Is it really him?' He said, 'Yes, by Allah'. My uncle said: 'Can you recognize him and confirm this?' He said, 'Yes'. My uncle said, 'How do you feel towards him?' He said, 'By Allah I shall be his enemy as long as I live.'" (Ibn Hisham, As-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah, vol. 2, pp. 257-258)

- they are the most racist in the world
- sometimes you become what you dislike
- Umar left home to kill Muhammad but he became Muslim instead

AYAH 49

Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). (Al-'Ankabut 29:49)

AYAH 50

And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner." (Al-'Ankabut 29:50)
The sign is in front of you, you are so stupid the Quran is all around

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Al-Qamar 54:17)

- the Quran is only book which is memorised
- you are asking for signs but when it comes, you reject them

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar 54:1)

And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (Al-Qamar 54:2)

- Allah split the moon but the people of Quraish rejected it (54:1-2)
- the people of Saleh (AS) also asked for a sign
- but his people also rejected him and broke their oath

Allah said even as the kuffaar will ask for them to be returned to dunya
- but will still be the same if they are returned

AYAH 51

Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur'an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe. (Al-'Ankabut 29:51)
Allah is asking whether the Quran is not sufficient

AYAH 52

Say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in Batil (all false deities other than Allah), and disbelieve in Allah and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:52)
Whenever you are on baatil, you are a loser
- some people claim that the West is rich and successful
- communism was also successful
- capitalism will also fail ( 17:81)

And say: "Truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism or this Qur'an or Jihad against polytheists) has come and Batil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism, etc.) has vanished. Surely! Batil is ever bound to vanish." (Al-Isra 17:81)

- some people are sincere in their baatil
- but they are sincerely wrong

AYAH 53

And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not! (Al-'Ankabut 29:53)
The kuffaar are hasty by nature

Verily, man (disbeliever) was created very impatient; (Al-Ma'arij 70:19)

Irritable (discontented) when evil touches him; (Al-Ma'arij 70:20)

And niggardly when good touches him;- (Al-Ma'arij 70:21)

Except those devoted to Salat (prayers). (Al-Ma'arij 70:22)

- this is from the shaitan

Sahl ibn Sa’d Sa’idi reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Deliberation is from Allah, but haste is from the devil”. [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/367) No. 2012]

- all the kuffaar asked their prophets to bring the punishment
- Allah said that he cannot change the timetable for the kuffaar

AYAH 54

They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:54)

AYAH 55

On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do." (Al-'Ankabut 29:55)
Theirs will be a bed of Hell (Fire), and over them coverings (of Hell-fire). Thus do We recompense the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.). (Al-A'raf 7:41)

- Allah said in Surah 7:41 that the hellfire will envelope them

AYAH 56

O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone)." (Al-'Ankabut 29:56)
Do not stay in darul harb and be oppressed
- do not be like the wife of Lut, some people are addicted to the luxury of the west
- darul harb turns you into a low life scum of the earth, passing dodgy fatwas

Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! (An-Nisa 4:97)

- those who did not make hijra will be asked by the angels
- why they did you not make hijra
- you can go to Mali or Nigeria because there is Shariah there
- you should not call for Shariah in London etc
- the four great imams said that it is haram to implement Shariah in darul harb or darul kufr

AYAH 57

Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned. (Al-'Ankabut 29:57)
The Brelvis wants to make Muhammad immortal
- checkmate them by 39:30

Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)

- you should always have your hujjah ready to refute the hypocrites
- you should reject the taghoot, just believing in Allah is not enough
- and it does not make you special, the Saudi Salafis are in bed with the taghoot
- there are three ijmas (the Sahabahs, the scholars and the Muslims)
- the Sahabahs believe that the rasul is dead

Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection a group of companions will come to me, but will be driven away from the Lake-Fount, and I will say, 'O Lord (those are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You have no knowledge as to what they innovated after you left; they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 76, Hadith #585]

- the people will be resurrected and some people will go to drink from the rasul
- and he will recognise them because they are his followers
- but the angels will stop them from drinking, they will inform him of their apostasy
- this proves that he was dead and was unaware of what happened after that

AYAH 58

And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:58)
Narrated By Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle said, "...by Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, everyone of them will know his dwelling in Paradise better than he knew his dwelling in this world." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 76, Hadith #542]

The rasul said that you will recognise your home in paradise better than your home in the dunya
- there are 4 rivers in paradise water, milk, honey and wine

The description of Paradise which the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2) have been promised is that in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine delicious to those who drink; and rivers of clarified honey (clear and pure) therein for them is every kind of fruit; and forgiveness from their Lord. (Are these) like those who shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels? (Muhammad 47:15)

The description of the Paradise which the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2): have been promised! -Underneath it rivers flow, its provision is eternal and so is its shade, this is the end (final destination) of the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2), and the end (final destination) of the disbelievers is Fire. (See Verse 47:15) (Ra'd 13:35)

With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, (Al-Waqi'ah 56:18)

Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. (Al-Waqi'ah 56:19)

- this wine will not make you drunk, the milk does not go off, the honey will not be mixed with sugar
- if you drink the wine of the dunya your salah is not accepted for 40 days and 40 nights

‘Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If anyone drinks wine then his salah over forty days are not approved. If he repents then Allah will relent to him. If he reverts (to it), then Allah will not approve his salah over forty days. If he repents, Allah will relent to him but if he reverts (to it) then Allah will not approve his salah over forty days. If he repents then Allah will relent to him. Again, if he reverts the fourth time, Allah will not approve his salah over forty days and if he repents then Allah will not relent to him and He will give him to drink from the river of Khabal.” Someone asked, “O Abu Abdur Rahman! what is the river of Khabal?’ He said, “The pus of the dwellers of the people of fire.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/290) No. 1862, Sunan Nasa'i (8/317) No. 5670, Musnad Ahmad (2/35) No. 4917, al-Mu’jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani (12/390) No. 13441]

Narrated Mu'awiyah ibn AbuSufyan: The Prophet (SAW) said: If they (the people) drink wine, flog them, again if they drink it, flog them. Again if they drink it, kill them. [Musnad Ahmad (4/96) No. 16915, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/165) No. 4485, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/604) No. 2573, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/48) No. 1444, al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (5/142) No. 5280]

- Mu'awiyah was an expert in fiqh

Narrated By Ibn Abi Mulaika: Somebody said to Ibn 'Abbas, "Can you speak to the chief of the believers Muwaiya, as he does not pray except one Rak'a as Witr?" Ibn 'Abbas replied, "He is a Faqih (i.e. a learned man who can give religious verdicts)." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 57, Hadith #109]
