وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا

And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur'an (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders). (Al-Furqan 25:30)
This is a big concern for the Prophet (SAW) that his Ummah will abandon the Quran
- how is it that you abandon Quran?

- many people say: ‘why Khalid ibn Waleed did not memorise as many Surahs as all the other Sahabahs?’

Abdullah bin Jamee said: ‘A man whom I trust told me that Khalid bin al-Waleed led the prayer in Hyra (city), hence he read verses from different chapters, then he looked at the people and said: ‘Jihad kept me busy from learning Quran’’. [Tarikh Ibn Asakir, (Volume 16 page 250)]

- Khalid ibn Waleed being an army general came onto his lap
- the Muslims raided behind Khalid for the battle even though he was a new Muslim
- being army general came onto his lap abruptly
- Khalid ibn Waleed, in history before and after Islam never lost a battle
- Khalid ibn Waleed did not have time to memorise long Surahs in the masjids
- he was busy fighting the kuffaar

Abu Wael narrated when Khalid Ibn Waleed was dying he said: "I sought to be killed in a place where death is usually expected (i.e., the battlefield) but it was decreed for me to die in my bed. There is no deed of mine that gave me greater hope, after [saying] la ilaaha ill-Allah, than a night that I spent with a shield in my hand and it rained until morning, in preparation for raiding the kuffaar." Then he said: "If I die, then look at my weapons and my horse, and give them (for jihad) for the sake of Allah." [Ibn Abi al-Dunya (d. 281 H) in 'Makarim al-Akhlaq' (1/62) No. 177]

- when you refuse to ponder of the Quran, you have neglected the Quran

Do they not then think deeply in the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)? (Muhammad 47:24)

- so not only that you do not ponder of the meaning of the Quran, you refuse the rules of tajweed
- Shaikh may teach us the rules of tajweed, you should go to your local Shaikhs
- you can go to the Goofy Sufis to learn tajweed
- so by you not learning the rules of tajweed you are ignoring the Quran
- Islam is not a few subject, Islam is vast
- there are many aspects of the Deen to learn
- just because Shaikh does different topics every night does not mean he has taught us everything
- he has not done many topics

- the Quran says do not drink alcohol, so you cannot drink alcohol
- the one who does, their Salah is not accepted for 40 days

O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, AlAnsab, and AlAzlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. (Al-Ma'idah 5:90)

‘Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If anyone drinks wine then his salah over forty days are not approved. If he repents then Allah will relent to him. If he reverts (to it), then Allah will not approve his salah over forty days. If he repents, Allah will relent to him but if he reverts (to it) then Allah will not approve his salah over forty days. If he repents then Allah will relent to him. Again, if he reverts the fourth time, Allah will not approve his salah over forty days and if he repents then Allah will not relent to him and He will give him to drink from the river of Khabal.” Someone asked, “O Abu Abdur Rahman! what is the river of Khabal?’ He said, “The pus of the dwellers of the people of fire.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/290) No. 1862, Sunan Nasa'i (8/317) No. 5670, Musnad Ahmad (2/35) No. 4917, al-Mu’jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani (12/390) No. 13441]

- the Quran says do not dabble in zina

And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fahishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him). (Al-Isra 17:32)

Yazid ibn Yabnus said, "We went to 'A'isha and said, 'Umm al-Mu'minin, what was the character of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), like?' She replied, 'His character was the Qur'an. Can you recite the sura entitled "The Believers"?' She said, 'Recite: "It is the believers who are successful: those who are humble in their prayer; those who turn away from worthless talk; those who actively pay zakat; those who guard their private parts." (23:1-5)' She said, 'That was the character of the Messenger of Allah (SAW).'" [al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari, No. 308]

- Allah says;

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). (Luqman 31:6)

Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) said: this means singing. Mujahid (RA) said: this means playing the drum (tabl). (Tafseer al-Tabari, 21/40).

Al-Hasan al-Basri (rh) said: this ayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments (lit. woodwind instruments). (Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 3/451).

Al-Sa’di (rh) said: this includes all manner of haraam speech, all idle talk and falsehood, and all nonsense that encourages kufr and disobedience; the words of those who say things to refute the truth and argue in support of falsehood to defeat the truth; and backbiting, slander, lies, insults and curses; the singing and musical instruments of the Shaytan; and musical instruments which are of no spiritual or worldly benefit. (Tafseer al-Sa’di, 6/150)

Ibn al-Qayyim (rh) said: The interpretation of the Sahabah and Tabi’in, that ‘idle talk’ refers to singing, is sufficient. This was reported with saheeh isnaads from Ibn ‘Abbas and Ibn Mas’ood. Abu’l-Sahbaa’ said: I asked Ibn Mas’ood about the ayah (interpretation of the meaning), ‘“And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks’ [Luqmaan 31:6]. He said: By Allah, besides Whom there is no other god, this means singing – and he repeated it three times. It was also reported with a saheeh isnaad from Ibn ‘Umar (RA) that this means singing. There is no contradiction between the interpretation of “idle talk” as meaning singing and the interpretation of it as meaning stories of the Persians and their kings, and the kings of the Romans, and so on, such as al-Nadr ibn al-Haarith used to tell to the people of Makkah to distract them from the Qur’an. Both of them are idle talk. Hence Ibn ‘Abbas said: “Idle talk” is falsehood and singing. Some of the Sahabah said one and some said the other, and some said both. Singing is worse and more harmful than stories of kings, because it leads to zina and makes hypocrisy grow (in the heart); it is the trap of the Shaytan, and it clouds the mind. The way in which it blocks people from the Qur’an is worse than the way in which other kinds of false talk block them, because people are naturally inclined towards it and tend to want to listen to it. The ayat condemn replacing the Qur’an with idle talk in order to mislead (men) from the path of Allah without knowledge and taking it as a joke, because when an aayah of the Qur’aan is recited to such a person, he turns his back as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in his ear. If he hears anything of it, he makes fun of it. All of this happens only in the case of the people who are most stubbornly kaafirs and if some of it happens to singers and those who listen to them, they both have a share of this blame. (Ighaathat al-Lahfaan, 1/258-259).

- Shaikh debated a Parvezi and the Parvezi quoted this ayah (31:6)
- and said that this ayah is talking about hadith and you should not follow hadith
- that is how evil the Parvezi's are
- Allah revealed Surah 31:6 because a man brought women from Persia
- and wanted to take away men from listening to the Quran
- a parvezi will tell you to ignore the hadith of Muhammad (SAW)
- because it will take you away from Quran

- the Brelvis, believe that Muhammad is alive in the grave, they do not believe in the ayah 39:30

Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)

- the Ashaa’ira do not believe in Surah 20:5

The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). (Ta-Ha 20:5)

- the MADkhalis do not believe in Surah 5:60

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghût (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hellfire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Al-Ma'idah 5:60)

- the Shi’ites do not believe in Surah 31:34

Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is AllKnower, AllAware (of things). (Luqman 31:34)

SHIA HUJJAH: The Imams have knowledge of the past and future; and nothing is hidden from them. (Al-Kafi vol.1 p.260)

SHIA HUJJAH: The spiritual status of the imam is the universal divine vice-gerency that is sometimes mentioned by the imams (peace be upon them). It is a vice-gerency pertaining to the whole of creation, by virtue of which all the atoms in the universe humble themselves before the holder of authority (imams). It is one of the essential beliefs of our Shia school that no one can attain the spiritual status of the imams, not even the cherubim or the prophets. Imam Khomeini, Islam and Revolution: Writings and Declarations of Imam Khomeini, (Berkeley: Mizaan Press, 1981)

- the Shi’ites also do not believe in Surah 24:11

Verily! Those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet SAW) are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. Unto every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin, and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be a great torment. (An-Nur 24:11)

SHIA HUJJAH: The Shia believe that at the time of Mahdi’s return Imam Mahdi will resurrect Aisha (Prophet Mohammad’s wife) and execute the law of Hudud on her, for committing Zina (adultery) during her marriage. (Al-Anwar Al-Numaniyah, vol. 1, p. 161, Tafsir al-Shafi, vol. 2, p. 108, Haq al-Yaqeen, vol. 2, p. 256, Hayat al-Qulub, vol. 2, p. 611)

Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption). (Al-Hijr 15:9)

SHIA HUJJAH: The present Quran is in an altered, corrupted and distorted form.. (Fatuhat-e-Shia, p. 129)

- the Mu’tazlite, how can we leave them out?!
- they claim that Allah's Arsh means the glory of Allah
- they do not believe in Surah 69:17

And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. (Al-Haqqah 69:17)

- the Mu’tazlite also believe Iblees was an angel, they do not believe in Surah 18:50

And (remember) when We said to the angels; "Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Satan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimûn (polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc). (Al-Kahf 18:50)

- the Qadianis do not believe in Surah 33:40

Muhammad (SAW) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever AllAware of everything. (Al-Ahzab 33:40)

- so what the prophet meant by his Ummah will desert the Qur'an is that they wont follow it properly

- Zamakhshari his tafseer is a master piece, even though he is a Mu’tazlite
- and most scholars have his tafseer, they take the good from him
- they did not take knowledge from Shi’ites
- but the did from the Ashaa'iree and Mu’tazlite
- you cannot read Zamakhshari for Aqeedah, only Tafseer ibn Katheer for aqeedah
- if the scholar is ahlul sunnah wal jammah, you can take aqeedah from him
- if the scholar is not from ahlul Sunnah, you can take fiqh and the Arabic language from him
- you can learn branches of knowledge from other scholars as long as you do not take aqeedah from them
- imam Bukhari used to take hadith from Khawarij because they did not lie
- so do not make the mistake thinking the scholars of the past, that they only took things from ahlul sunnah
- no, they took from deviants, just not aqeedah from them
- if you do not classify knowledge, you will be like a headless chicken

- The Parvezi they are called the sunnah rejecters they do not believe in Surah 3:31

Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali Imran 3:31)

- if you were a believer of the Quran, then you would believe in the sunnah because of this ayah
- they do not also believe in Surah 16:44

And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Qur'an), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought. (An-Nahl 16:44)

- this ayah is telling you it is compulsory to believe in the sunnah
- Shaikh can tell you all the ayahs that the deviant sects do not believe in
- the prophet could see this coming, that is why Allah spoke about this in surah 25:30

وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimûn (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals, etc.). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper. (Al-Furqan 25:31)
- Allah is sufficient as your helper
- Musa had Qarun as his enemy, did Allah abandon Musa?
- no, Allah made the earth swallow Qarun
- Allah told us all the prophet had enemies
- Muhammad (SAW) had Abu Lahb and Abu Jahl as his enemy
- the ayah above is simular like surah 6:112

And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayatin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafseer Qurtubi, Vol.7, Page 67) (Al-An'am 6:112)

- Allah promised Abu Lahb the hell fire

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! (Al-Masad 111:1)

His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! (Al-Masad 111:2)

He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! (Al-Masad 111:3)

And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him). (Al-Masad 111:4)

In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre). (Al-Masad 111:5)

And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). (Al-Furqan 25:32)- the kuffaar say: ‘why did not the Quran be sent all at once?’

- so in surah 25:32 Allah said, "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?"
- I put it to you a kaafir wants to tell Allah who to bless
- who to make a prophet and how to reveal the Quran

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Al-Qamar 54:17)

And (it is) a Qur'an which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages. (in 23 years). (Al-Isra 17:106)

3. TO MAKE IT EASY TO OBEY AND FOLLOW IT- before khamar was made haraam 3 previous ayahs came down

i. the first ayah was appealing to their rational (Surah 2:219)

They ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning alcoholic drink and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin, and (some) benefit for men, but the sin of them is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they ought to spend. Say: "That which is beyond your needs." Thus Allah makes clear to you His Laws in order that you may give thought." (Al-Baqarah 2:219)

- in this ayah Allah did not say stop drinking
- and the sahabah said to themselves; ‘if the harm is greater, why do we drink it?’

"...When the people embraced Islam, the Verses regarding legal and illegal things were revealed. If the first thing to be revealed was: 'Do not drink alcoholic drinks.' people would have said, 'We will never leave alcoholic drinks,' and if there had been revealed, 'Do not commit illegal sexual intercourse, 'they would have said, 'We will never give up illegal sexual intercourse.' [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #515]

ii. the 2nd ayah was Surah Nisa 4:43
- Allah said;

O you who believe! Approach not AsSalat (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state until you know (the meaning) of what you utter, nor when you are in a state of Janaba, (i.e. in a state of sexual impurity and have not yet taken a bath) except when travelling on the road (without enough water, or just passing through a mosque), till you wash your whole body. And if you are ill, or on a journey, or one of you comes after answering the call of nature, or you have been in contact with women (by sexual relations) and you find no water, perform Tayammum with clean earth and rub therewith your faces and hands (Tayammum). Truly, Allah is Ever OftPardoning, OftForgiving. (An-Nisa 4:43)

- if a man is sick, he gets medicine in stages; same thing with giving up sins

iii. Surah 5:90 is another ayah talking about alcohol
- Allah says:

O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, AlAnsab, and AlAzlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. (Al-Ma'idah 5:90)

- this ayah tells us that now it is haraam
- first Allah tells us its not good for us
- then He told us its haraam, then He told us stay away from it
- Allah tells us to not EVEN GO NEXT TO IT, you should not be near it, let alone drink it

So when the kuffaar of Makkah say; ‘why did Allah reveal the Quran in stages?’
- the reformation has to come in stages
- when a girl takes her Shahadah, she will not understand hijaab just yet
- you can say to her first, tie your hair and then cover your hair and neck
- you may have to go in stages, like wise how the Quran has to be in stages
- we used the examples such as alcohol

Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA) said: The Prophet (SAW) sent Mu’adh ibn Jabal and me to Yemen, and I said: O Messenger of Allah, there is a drink that is made in our land and is called al-mizr, which is made from barley, and another drink called al-bit’, which is made from honey. He said: “Every intoxicant is haram.” [al-Bukhari (4343) and Muslim (1733)]

Ibn ‘Umar (RA) said: I heard ‘Umar (RA) say from the minbar of the Messenger of Allah (SAW): “O people, the prohibition of khamr was revealed when khamr was made from five things: grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. Khamr is whatever befogs the mind.” [Related by al-Bukhari (4619) and Muslim (3032)]

i. the 1st mistake he (SAW) took captives at Badr and it was a mistake
- and he should not have, Allah corrected him in Surah 8:67

It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (Al-Anfal 8:67)

ii. the 2nd mistake was when he prayed over Abdullah ibn Ubbay
- Allah corrected the prophet (SAW) in Surah 9:84

And never (O Muhammad SAW) pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and died while they were Fasiqûn (rebellious, - disobedient to Allah and His Messenger SAW). (At-Tawbah 9:84)

iii. the 3rd mistake of the prophet (SAW) to make an oath not to drink honey again:

O Prophet! Why do you ban (for yourself) that which Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (At-Tahrim 66:1)

Narrated By 'Aisha: The Prophet used to stay (for a period) in the house of Zainab bint Jahsh (one of the wives of the Prophet) and he used to drink honey in her house. Hafsa and I decided that when the Prophet entered upon either of us, she would say, "I smell in you the bad smell of Maghafir (a bad smelling raisin). Have you eaten Maghafir?" When he entered upon one of us, she said that to him. He replied (to her), "No, but I have drunk honey in the house of Zainab bint Jahsh, and I will never drink it again." Then the following verse was revealed: 'O Prophet ! Why do you ban (for you) that which Allah has made lawful for you?... (up to) If you two (wives of the Prophet turn in repentance to Allah.' (66.1-4) The two were 'Aisha and Hafsa And also the Statement of Allah: 'And (Remember) when the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives!' (66.3) i.e., his saying, "But I have drunk honey." Hisham said: It also meant his saying, "I will not drink anymore, and I have taken an oath, so do not inform anybody of that." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 78, Hadith #682]

- Allah revealed surah 66 to tell the prophet, that do not make what is halaal for you haraam
- for the sake of pleasing your wives

iv. 4th mistake of the prophet was regarding Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum (surah 80:1-2)

(The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, ('Abasa 80:1)

Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktûm, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). ('Abasa 80:2)

- the Shi’ites think that the prophet (SAW) is massaum
- massum means infallible, to be free from mistakes

5. TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS OF THE SAHABAH- they asked the prophet about the orphans, Allah said;

In (to) this worldly life and in the Hereafter. And they ask you concerning orphans. Say: "The best thing is to work honestly in their property, and if you mix your affairs with theirs, then they are your brothers. And Allah knows him who means mischief (e.g. to swallow their property) from him who means good (e.g. to save their property). And if Allah had wished, He could have put you into difficulties. Truly, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise." (Al-Baqarah 2:220)

- then they asked the prophet about menses and how to deal with women on their menses

They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have purified (from menses and have taken a bath). And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). (Al-Baqarah 2:222)

- according to Shariah, everything is allowed apart from intercourse
- if you have intercourse with a woman on her menses, you have to give 4 and a quarter of gold

Then they asked about gambling
- Allah said;

They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) about the spoils of war. Say: "The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger." So fear Allah and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), if you are believers. (Al-Anfal 8:1)

They ask you concerning fighting in the Sacred Months (i.e. 1st, 7th, 11th and 12th months of the Islamic calendar). Say, "Fighting therein is a great (transgression) but a greater (transgression) with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the Way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him, to prevent access to Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islamic Monotheism) if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." (Al-Baqarah 2:217)

6. TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS OF THE KUFFAAR- e.g. they asked about the ruh (soul) and Allah replied them

And they ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning the Rûh (the Spirit); Say: "The Rûh (the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." (Al-Isra 17:85)

- they also asked about the sleepers of the cave and Allah revealed surah 18
- they were told by the Jews to ask the prophet this question, to know if he is a real prophet

7. TO ANSWER PROBLEMS AND DILEMMAS OF THE PROPHET- e.g. when the rumour broke about Aisha having an affair
- so he had to wait for Allah to clear her name and Allah revealed 24:11

The other dilemma he had was about the 3 men who did not go to Tabuk
1. Ka'ab ibn Malik
2. Hilal ibn Umaiyya
3. Marara ibn Rabi'e

- after 50 days Allah revealed that they are forgiven
- Allah said;

Allah has forgiven the Prophet (SAW), the Muhajirûn (Muslim emigrants who left their homes and came to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (Muslims of Al-Madinah) who followed him (Muhammad SAW) in the time of distress (Tabûk expedition, etc.), after the hearts of a party of them had nearly deviated (from the Right Path), but He accepted their repentance. Certainly, He is unto them full of Kindness, Most Merciful. (At-Tawbah 9:117)

- the prophet had to wait for the verdict from Allah

8. TO MAKE IT EASY FOR THE PROPHET (SAW) TO RECEIVE REVELATION- he sweated profusely when it came down
- so it was revealed ayah by ayah and Surah by Surah for his benefit
- Allah said:

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect. (Al-Hashr 59:21)

And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.). (Al-Furqan 25:32)

10. TO REFUTE THE ACCUSATIONS OF THE KUFFAAR - when they gathered in a satanic council, they said they would slander Muhammad (SAW)
- and were going to call him a poet (but they do not practice what they preach)
- so they thought to call him a 'magician'

Verily, he thought and plotted; (Al-Muddaththir 74:18)

So let him be cursed! How he plotted! (Al-Muddaththir 74:19)

And once more let him be cursed, how he plotted! (Al-Muddaththir 74:20)

Then he thought; (Al-Muddaththir 74:21)

Then he frowned and he looked in a bad tempered way; (Al-Muddaththir 74:22)

Then he turned back and was proud; (Al-Muddaththir 74:23)

Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; (Al-Muddaththir 74:24)

"This is nothing but the word of a human being!" (Al-Muddaththir 74:25)

I will cast him into Hell-fire (Al-Muddaththir 74:26)

- Allah 'tala tells us that Waleed plotted against the Rasool (SAW) and would send him to Hellfire
- and the council members said they would call Muhammad's actions 'magic'

And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; (At-Takwir 81:22)

And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). (At-Takwir 81:23)

And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. (At-Takwir 81:24)

And it (the Qur'an) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). (At-Takwir 81:25)

Then where are you going? (At-Takwir 81:26)

Allah 'tala rarely asks questions but He (SWT) asks: ‘WHERE ARE YOU GOING?’
- the flat road takes you to Hellfire and the steep one takes you to Paradise

Kaafirs like to put their nose into affairs which does not concern them
- the concern themself with the marriage of the Rasool (SAW) with Aisha and Zaynab
- STDs are pandemic in their societies, the kaafirs should worry about THAT
- they ought to worry about their own domestic problems, such as priests abusing young boys
- some of the preachers have zina with young girls, too

- a black man ate the face of a white man

Black male cannibal eats White Man's face:

- kaafirs of today worry about things that do not concern them
- every ill of society if rife in their community
- and what concerns them they ignore
- a kaafir likes to tell Allah 'tala whom to bless
- who to make a prophet and how to reveal the Qur'an
