by Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

Edited and Formatted by AT21 and AT7

In order for you to be sincere to Allah 14 conditions should be present
-sincerity is the opposite of hypocrisy
-if you do not believe what you are saying this is hypocrisy

Allah says:

Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful. (Al-Hujurat 49:15)

-therefore you must not have doubts about the existence of Allah
-if a person has doubts about Allah’s existence this doubt makes you becomes a kaafir
-you are not allowed to doubt your faith
-when you doubt you lose your faith

In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies. (Al-Baqarah 2:10)

-this concept is called Tauheedul Rububiyya

Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, (Al-Falaq 113:1)
"From the evil of what He has created; (Al-Falaq 113:2)

-this surah tells us, Allah creates good as well as bad
-He with the 'capital H' refers to Allah
-you cannot do this for anyone else, or it may become shirk
-and for Muhammad you refer to 'he' with a small h
-whenever you are talking about God, you are speaking about Allah (big 'G')
-and when you write god with a 'small g' you are referring to a false deity
-to refer to Allah with a small G is haram

So Allah creates our actions

"While Allah has created you and what you make!" (As-Saffat 37:96)

-like for those of you who woke up for fajr salah today,
-the act itself was created by Allah
-the Mu'tazilites say man creates his own actions

Allah says the greatest man cannot even create a house fly

O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully): Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought. (Al-Hajj 22:73)

-this concept is called 'Asmaa wa Sifaat
-as a believer you must describe Allah with His 99 names and Attribute
-you should refrain from describing Allah with what Allah hasn’t describes Himself with

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (Genesis 2:2) King James Version

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Genesis 2:3) King James Version

-the Christians claim that Allah repents and that He rests on the 7th day,
-these are not one of Allah's 99 names and attributes
-you the Muslims are the only ones who have not gone astray
-in describing Allah with His 99 names’ and attributes
-you describe Allah with His 99 names and attributes without asking how and why

Ja'far Ibn Abdullah narrated: We were with Malik Ibn Anas when a man came to him and said: “O Abu Abdullah (Allah said) 'Ar-Rahman upon the Throne Istawa' (20:5), how was His Istiwa? Imam Malik inclined his head and was silent until the sweat of fever covered his brow, then he looked up and said: "Istiwa is not unknown, the Kayf (how) is uncomprehendable, believing in it is wajib (obligatory), and asking about it is bid'ah (innovation), and I do not think that you are anything but an innovator." Then he ordered that the man be expelled. [Abu-Naeem Al-Asbahani in 'Hilyatul-Awliya wa Tabaqat Al-Asfiya' (Vol. 6, pg. 325-326)]

-you believe in Allah's 99 names and attribute without tajseem
-you cannot believe Allah has body parts like man
-the clock in the wall has 2 hands, but does this mean it’s like our hands?

(Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the highly exalted?" (Sad 38:75)

-does this mean Allah has the same hands as ours
-some people put a spin on the ayah and say 2 hands mean 2 powers
-who told you, can you say how many powers Allah has?

The prophet (saw) said:

Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Allah laughs at two men, one of them kills the other and they both enter Paradise!” They said: 'How can that happen O Messenger of Allah?' He said: “One of them kills the other, so the one who is killed goes to Paradise (a martyr) and then the man who killed embraces Islam, goes and fights in the path of Allah and is killed as a Shaheed and goes to Paradise” [al-Bukhari (2826) and Muslim (1890)]

-this hadith causes fitna
-because people are offended when you quote this hadith
-people ask, how Allah can laugh?
-when you read these ahadith, just read them, believe them and leave it
-don’t try and question it, and try and interpret it, don’t be like the Mu’tazilites
-because they try and do things they don’t know
-Iblees was the first Mu'tazilite
-our aqeeda is to 'hear and obey'

-this concept is called tauheed haakimiyya
-when Yusuf (a.s) was in prison, he taught the people tauheed
-you cannot slip one tauheed under the other
-he taught them 4 tauheed not 3 or 2

"O two companions of the prison! Are many different lords (gods) better or Allah, the One, the Irresistible? (Yusuf 12:39)

"You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged), you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command (or the judgment) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism), that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not. (Yusuf 12:40)

-Tauheed Rububiyya, Asmaa was Sifaat, haakimiyya and ibaadah
-the 4 tauheed are also mentioned in surah Fatiha

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Fatihah 1:2)

The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (Al-Fatihah 1:3)

The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). (Al-Fatihah 1:4)

You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). (Al-Fatihah 1:5)

-so how can you say tauheed haakimiyya is a bid’ah
-how can it be

Muhammad Ibrahim [the shaikh of bin Baaz] said in page 6 of his book Tahkeem al Qawaneen: "Tawheed haakimiyya is the twin half of tawheed Ibaada."

-you say it’s a bid’ah because it was classed as an own category,
-Muhammad Ibrahim said it’s the brother of tauheed ibaadah

Allah said:

Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed. With Him is (the knowledge of) the unseen of the heavens and the earth. How clearly He sees, and hears (everything)! They have no Wail (Helper, Disposer of affairs, Protector, etc.) other than Him, and He makes none to share in His Decision and His Rule." (Al-Kahf 18:26)

Allah also said

[Say (O Muhammad SAW)] "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (The Qur'an), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt. (Al-An'am 6:114)

-this is another evidence for tauheed haakimiyya

-this concept is called tauheed ibaadah
-those who die in the state of shirk, there is no hope for them
-because Allah says:

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

-each tauheed has to be explained by itself on its own
-its haram to slide one tauheed under the other
-by doing so they are guilty of making the shaytan a Muslim
-you cannot slide one tauheed under the other and claim they are the same thing
-this does not make sense

[Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." (Al-Hijr 15:36)

-even the shaytan declared Allah is his Lord, in 15:36
-he believes in the resurrection and the DOJ
-the shaytan believes in tauheed Rububiyya
-so how can you slide the tauheed under each other

This is caused tahreef (deception)
-you are not allowed to slide tauheed haakimiyya under tauheed ibaadah
-those who do this, do so because they want to hide this concept
-they want to hide it because they want to be paid

There are some people who preach you can give the excuse of ignorance
-to those who worship false deity; this is hislam not Islam
-they say you cannot make takfeer on them because they do not know better

The prophet (saw)’s father died before the message of Islam

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” [Sahih Muslim (Vol. 1, pg. 191) No. 203]

-the prophet (saw) told a man his father is in the hell fire
-how come the prophet (saw) didn’t give his father the excuse of ignorance
-so how can some people preach this?
-the aql is also hujjah, because the pagans who used to worship Lat, Uzzah, Hubal
-and Manat, when they were in the ship turned to only Allah:

And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others. (Al-'Ankabut 29:65)

So whenever you meet people that say you should forgive mushriks
-who are ignorant you should remember surah 29:65 and the story of Quraish
-the aql told them this and their fitrah
-told them to pray to Allah
-fitrah (natural instinct) aql (own knowledge)
-the prophet (saw) referred to the grave as idols

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

-there is no difference between the Buddha and Brevlis, they pray to idols/grave

Allah says:

By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness, etc., it means here Allah's Reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allah's Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allah knows it well. (Aali Imran 3:92)

-and Allah also says:

O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. (Muhammad 47:7)

-how can you help Allah? It is impossible to help Allah, Allah is All rich
-the person who translated this ayah put in brackets (in the cause of),
-i.e. to give money to the mujahideen, to help build masjids and such

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me. He would say: O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He said: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? (The Lord would again say) O son of Adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me. [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Hadith #6232]

-the Christians spend for the cause of their religion, they know their religion is false,
-but they do this to compete with Islam
-Christians do this on main screen TV and get so many people to donate money
-some spend to spread Christianity, and some spend to kill Muslims

Allah says:

Verily, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend it; but in the end it will become an anguish for them. Then they will be overcome. And those who disbelieve will be gathered unto Hell. (Al-Anfal 8:36)

-the kuffaar cry saying their economy is in recession
-they have attacked so many Muslim countries
-Europe is not a place you can go out to the back, pick fruits and eat
-and the houses are all close together
-everything is controlled
-that’s why they give you well fare
-if they don’t you will starve
-the kuffaar cry, but didn’t Allah say in 8:36, this is just a source by means for their defeat

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them (Al-Mumtahinah 60:1)

Allah says in surah 60:1; don’t take my enemies as your friends
-you cannot take kaafirs who hate Islam as your friends
-but if they do not hate Islam, you can have them as your associates

Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity. (Al-Mumtahinah 60:8)

-the reason being, if they do not hate Islam, then eventually they will take up Islam
-Allah tells us in surah 60:8
-that He hasn’t stopped us from being friends with kaafirs

Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)

-didn’t Muhammad (saw) love his kaafir uncle
-you need to ask Allah to protect you from the diseases of the heart; they destroy you
-these diseases of the heart turn you into a munafiqoon, murtadoon and kaafiroon
-they are so dangerous

-the companions of Muhammad (saw) practiced al walaa wal baraa
-that’s why they were successful
-such as Umar who chopped of the head of his uncle
-how many of you can chop of the head of your father/family

Ali (RA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: “He who possess enough food for the trip, a means of transportation to reach to Makkah, and yet does not perform Hajj, then he dies, he would then die as a Jew or a Christian...” [Sunan Tirmidhi (3/176) No. 812, Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (5/443) No. 3692, Musnad al-Bazzaar (3/87-88) No. 861]

-some scholars say this is a weak hadith,
-but a shaikh is allowed to use a weak hadith to promote good deeds
-who said the hadith is weak anyway
-look how many scholars collected this hadith
-Ahmad Ibn Hambal used to use weak hadith and would say
-i prefer to use weak hadith than use my aql

Allah said:

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (Aali Imran 3:104)

-so to be sincere to Allah you must enjoin the good and forbid the wrong

On the authority of Abu Umar who said: Allah sent two angels to destroy a township with a natural disaster, but when they got there they found a man praying in the mosque. They went back to Allah and said: 'O Allah we found a man praying in the mosque.' Allah said to the two angels: 'Go back and destroy the township with that man as well because not once did he ever frown when he saw the people indulging in haram.' [Ibnul Qayyim, al-Jawaab al-Kaafi (1/46)]

-one day Allah sent the angels to destroy a town and there was a pious man in the temple
-Allah sent the angels to destroy this man first
-because he did not even frown when he saw the evil
-enjoining the right and forbidding the evil is a religious duty

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim (1/69) No. 49, Musnad Ahmad (3/10) No. 11088, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/145) No. 4013, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/469) No. 2172, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/296) No. 1140, Sunan al-Nasa'i (8/112) No. 5009]

-sometimes you can get killed for doing so
-and then you become a hermit and stay away from these people
-don’t mix with them like some scholars and rulers

O you who believe! Enter perfectly in Islam (by obeying all the rules and regulations of the Islamic religion) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily! He is to you a plain enemy (Al-Baqarah 2:208)

Allah said:
-you cannot have one foot in Islam and one foot in another religion
-you must surrender to Allah completely

But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad SAW) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission. (An-Nisa 4:65)

-this ayah came down when Umar took of the head of a munafiq

-when a calamity befalls you don’t insult Allah, Allah says:

And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Al-Baqarah 2:155)

Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: "Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return." (Al-Baqarah 2:156)

-loss of lives means, loss of family/fruits
-some people are not sincere to Allah
-some people apostate when a calamity befalls them

And among mankind is he who worships Allah as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islām). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss. (Al-Hajj 22:11)

-these are not sincere to Allah
-whenever a calamity befalls you, you must have sabr
-the sahabah tied stones on their bellies when they were hungry, did they apostate?
-no they were steadfast

Suhayb Ibn Sinan narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Wonderful are the affairs of a believer; for there is good in every affair of his; this is not the case with anyone else except a believer. If he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (Allah), thus there is good for him in it. If he suffers affliction, he endures patiently, which is good for him. [Sahih Muslim (4/2295) No. 2999]

Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested. (Al-'Ankabut 29:2)

-if you live in darul harb, the kuffaar might say to you
-if you don’t spy for us, we will make your life hell
-you may also lose your job
-if you are living in darul harb, you should make hijra
-because the angels will say to you:

Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! (An-Nisa 4:97)

-some people cannot make hijra because they love darul harb
-they are comfortable
-they are getting well paid, living nice and having clean water
-you might be earning pounds/dollars but you are also spending it too

-to believe in Allah is not enough
-you must reject every ism and schism
-listen to your shahada
-you must reject the taghoot and then believe in Allah

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan). (An-Nisa 4:76)

-the pagan Arabs who were in the boat believed in Allah,
-but they did not give up the taghoot that’s why they committed shirk
-the kaafir army is taghoot
-the kaafir courthouse is taghoot that’s why Allah said in 4:60:

Have you seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgment (in their disputes) to the Taghut (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitan (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray. (An-Nisa 4:60)

-a false deity is taghoot like the Buddha
-if Muhammad (saw) or Jesus (a.s) are worshipped,
-they are not taghoot
-because they did not give consent on worshipping them
-people who like to be worshipped have a god complex, such as the pharaoh

اللهم لا تجعل قبري وثنا يعبد، اشتد غضب الله على قوم اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

-to prove to you that Muhammad (saw) didn’t give consent
-for you to worship him is the hadith he made dua to Allah above

-Tahir ul Qadri likes to be worshipped
-if you enjoy being worshipped you are a taghoot
-but if you do not like being worshipped then you are not a taghoot

-the prophet (saw) said:

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: One who died but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or determination) for Jihad died the death of a hypocrite. [Sahih Muslim, Book 20, Hadith 4696]

Narrated By Muawiya: I heard the Prophet saying, "A group of people amongst my followers will remain obedient to Allah's orders and they will not be harmed by anyone who will not help them or who will oppose them, till Allah's Order (the Last Day) comes upon them while they are still on the right path." [Sahih Bukhari (4/207) No. 3641]

Imraan ibn Hussain (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘A group of people from my Ummah will continue to fight for the sake of the truth until the last of them fights the Dajjal (anti-Christ) [Sunan Abu Dawud (3/4) No. 2484, Musnad Ahmad (4/437) No. 19934, Mustadrak al-Haakim (2/81) No. 2392]

-sometimes you may like a thing which is bad for you
