Bismillah…

HADEETH NUMBER 25:

Also on the authority of Abu Dharr (RA): Some people from amongst the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to the Prophet (SAW), "O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made off with the rewards; they pray as we pray, they fast as we fast, and they give [much] in charity by virtue of their wealth." He (SAW) said, "Has not Allah made things for you to give in charity? Truly every tasbeehah [saying: ‘subhan-Allah’] is a charity, and every takbeerah [saying: ‘Allahu akbar’] is a charity, and every tahmeedah [saying: ‘al-hamdu lillah’] is a charity, and every tahleelah [saying: ‘laa ilaha illal Allah’] is a charity. And commanding the good is a charity, and forbidding an evil is a charity, and in the bud’i [sexual act] of each one of you there is a charity." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his carnal desire will he have some reward for that?" He (SAW) said, "Do you not see that if he were to act upon it [his desire] in an unlawful manner then he would be deserving of punishment? Likewise, if he were to act upon it in a lawful manner then he will be deserving of a reward." It was related by Muslim.

SHARH OF HADEETH

This hadeeth of Abu Dharr is talking about poverty and wealth
-some of the companions felt uneasy about their poverty
-the rich sahabah made pious deeds like them but they had extra to give
-the rich were able to give charity
-and the prophet (saw) said the hand on top giving is better than the one down receiving

Narrated By Ibn 'Umar: I heard Allah's Apostle (SAW) while he was on the pulpit speaking about charity, to abstain from asking others for some financial help and about begging others, saying, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is that of the giver and the lower (hand) is that of the beggar." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 24, Hadith #509]

-so all of you should strive to be the hand on top because it is the hand of honour, dignity

Poverty is something a person should not pray for himself
-the rich Muslim is the best person under the heaven because
-Allah has blessed him with deen and dunya
-and the worse person is the kaafir who is poor
-Allah didn’t bless him with anything

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "There are three people that Allah will not speak to on the Day of Rising nor purify nor look at and they will have a painful punishment: an old adulterer, a lying ruler and a poor person who is arrogant." [Sahih Muslim (1/102) No. 107, Musnad Ahmad (2/480) No. 10232]

Poverty is when you are unable to provide yourself with your needs
-and we have 7 needs:

THE 12 NEEDS OF MANKIND

1. FOOD

2. CLOTHING

3. SHELTER

4. CLEAN DRINKING WATER

5. HEALTH CARE

6. TRANSPORT

7. ELECTRICITY

8. TOILETRIES (SOAP, TOOTHPASTE, MOUTH WASH)

9. EDUCATION

10. DENTAL CARE
-a dentist is busier than a doctor
-and earns a lot

11. INTIMACY

12. SPIRITUAL
-why do you go to a dars or salatul jumuah?
-you do these to look after your spiritual need

It is estimated that about a billion people are poor
-they work and earn less than a dollar

Poverty is a weapon of Iblees
-Allah said:

Shaitān (Satan) threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahshā (evil deeds, illegal sexual intercourse, sins etc.); whereas Allāh promises you Forgiveness from Himself and Bounty, and Allāh is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:268)

-so why do you preach poverty among the Muslims
-if you know it is a weapon of Iblees
-it leads to prostitution, apostasy

The prophet (saw) used to seek refuge from it

Narrated By 'Aisha: The Prophet used to seek refuge with Allah (by saying), "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the affliction of the Fire and from the punishment in the Fire, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of wealth, and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of poverty, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 75, Hadith #387]

-so if you know this why are you preaching poverty
-that preaching does not make sense

Luqman the wise said:

Luqman to his son, he said: “My son! I have carried grass-hoppers and cast-iron but I have never seen anything heavier (to bear) than a bad neighbour, and I have tasted all the bitterness, but I have never tasted anything more bitter than poverty.” [Ibn Abi Shaybah in 'Musannaf' (7/74) No. 34296 and al-Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Eman' (12/101) No. 9108]

The prophet (saw) said:

Anas Ibn Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Poverty, in all probability, leads to unbelief (kufr)...” [al-Bayhaqi narrated in 'Shu’ab al-Eemaan' (9/12) No. 6188 and Abu Na'eem narrated in 'Hileeyat al-Awwleeyah' (3/109)]

Abu Hurayra said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer although there is good in each. Desire that which will bring you benefit, and seek help from Allah and do not give way to incapacity. If something happens to you, do not say, 'If only I had done such-and-such.' Rather say, 'The decree of Allah. He does what He will.' Otherwise you will open yourself up to the action of Shaytan." [Sahih Muslim, Book 33, Hadith #6441]

The strength we want to see among Muslims is physical, spiritual, economic and military

WHAT CAUSES POVERTY?

1. DRUG ADDICTION
-when you see some homeless people, they were kicked from home due to drug abuse
-some of them steal from the house to get the drugs

A WOMAN STRANGLED HER SON TO DEATH: http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/1963976-woman-describes-how-she-strangled-her-own-son-to-death

-don marry people on drugs
-they are the worse people because they are going to stress you out

2. ALCOHOL ADDICTION

3. GAMBLING ADDICTION
-when they borrow you money, kiss it good bye
-they won’t pay you back

4. PROMISCUITY

5. A LACK OF EDUCATION
-you are not employable

6. LACK OF SKILLS

7. A LONG TERM PRISON SENTENCE
-it destroys your life
-because in jail, you get a low salary- job

8. A TOTAL LACK OF AMBITION
-this man does not reach any status in life
-he does not mind being on food stamps

9. CRIME
-who is going to come to your country to invest
-only a mad man will do so
-your life can be cut down at any moment

10. NATURAL DISASTERS
-people suffer natural disasters because of their sins
-e.g. the earth quake in Haiti, hurricane Katrina

And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allāh has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islāmic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds). (Ash-Shams 91:10)

11. MANY WARS
-it destroys the economy
-Bush invaded many countries and so destroyed the American economy
-they are now suffering

12. SINS

It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Nothing increases one's life span except righteousness and nothing repels the Divine decree except supplication, and a man may be deprived of provision by a sin that he commits."' [Sunan Ibn Majah (5/152) No. 4022, Musnad Ahmad (5/277) No. 22440, Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/670) No. 1814, Sahih Ibn Hibban (3/153) No. 872, al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (10/380) No. 11775]

-Haiti is the poorest country in the Caribbean
-but it is the world's capital for black magic
-their official religion is black magic

13. OPPRESSION

14. INHERITANCE

The prophet (saw) tried to comfort the sahabah
-when they had anxiety because of poverty

...Truly every tasbeehah [saying: ‘subhan-Allah’] is a charity, and every takbeerah [saying: ‘Allahu akbar’] is a charity, and every tahmeedah [saying: ‘al-hamdu lillah’] is a charity, and every tahleelah [saying: ‘laa ilaha illal Allah’] is a charity. And commanding the good is a charity, and forbidding an evil is a charity, and in the bud’i [sexual act] of each one of you there is a charity."...

THE EVIL EFFECTS OF POVERTY

1. IT CAUSES YOU TO LOSE YOUR SELF RESPECT
-your wealth is your honour
-that is why Luqman gave that famous statement

2. IT CAUSES BRIBERY
-the police in poor countries take bribes
-because their salaries are not enough so they resort to bribery

From Abdullah ibn Amri that the Prophet (SAW) cursed both the receiver and the giver of bribe. [Tirmidhi 1342, Abu Dawud 3580, Ibn e Majah 2313, Ahmed 7003]

Ibn Mas`ud was asked (by the people of Iraq), What is rashwa (taking bribes)? He replied, "This is suht (unlawful earning)." They said, "No, we meant in ruling." He then said, "This is the very kufr." Then he recited: "...And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun." (Al-Ma'idah 5:44) [Tafsir al-Tabari (10/321) No. 11960, Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/119)]

3. POVERTY CAUSES CORRUPTION
-sometimes you send a man to buy things for you to build a house
-and he tells the seller to give him a receipt of $400
-for goods costing a $100 instead
-so the extra $300 goes into your pocket

Abu Hurayra (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "Anyone who carries arms against us is not one of us. Anyone who cheats us is not one of us." [Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith #182]

4. POVERTY CAUSES CRIME
-a petty thief gets his hands chopped off
-but an armed robber gets crucified

The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. (Al-Ma'idah 5:33)

Narrated Anas: Some people from `Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them, so Allah's Apostle (SAW) allowed them to go to the herd of camels (given as Zakat) and they drank their milk and urine (as medicine) but they killed the shepherd and drove away all the camels. So Allah's Apostle sent (men) in their pursuit to catch them, and they were brought, and he had their hands and feet cut, and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron and they were left in the Harra (a stony place at Medina), till they died. [al-Bukhari (6802) and Muslim (1671)]

5. POVERTY BREEDS PROSTITUTION
-a woman did not become a prostitute for fun
-poverty led her to it

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipswich_serial_murders

6. IT TAKES AWAY YOUR SINCERITY
-the poor man joins the bandwagon of anyone feeding him

Anas Ibn Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Poverty, in all probability, leads to unbelief (kufr)...” [al-Bayhaqi narrated in 'Shu’ab al-Eemaan' (9/12) No. 6188 and Abu Na'eem narrated in 'Hileeyat al-Awwleeyah' (3/109)]

7. IT TAKES AWAY YOUR AL WALAA WAL BARAA
-you are to love for Allah's sake but they will tell you it's all about the Benjamin

8. IT MAKES YOU BECOME UNTRUSTWORTHY
-you can’t put money in front of a poor person
-it's like putting a bone in front of a hungry dog

9. MAKES YOU BECOME PETTY AND TRIVIAL

10. IT CAUSES GHETTOS TO MUSHROOM
-and there is a lot of crime in them
-the lack of money is the root of all evil not money

11. IT CAUSES TEENAGE PREGNANCY

12. IT CAUSES DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
-the sahabah suffered this
-and so they went to the rasul (saw)
-he comforted them by telling them other means of giving charity

The rich Muslim who is thankful is better than the poor Muslim
-the poor Muslims only have sabr (patience)
-even your family hates you when you are poor
-because you can’t provide for them

Luqman to his son, he said: “My son! I have carried grass-hoppers and cast-iron but I have never seen anything heavier (to bear) than a bad neighbour, and I have tasted all the bitterness, but I have never tasted anything more bitter than poverty.” [Ibn Abi Shaybah in 'Musannaf' (7/74) No. 34296 and al-Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Eman' (12/101) No. 9108]

13. IT CAUSES YOU TO HAVE A LOW SELF ESTEEM

14. IT CAUSES YOU TO BE ENVIOUS

15. POVERTY CAUSES EXPLOITATION

16. POVERTY CAUSES THE POOR PERSON TO BRING STRESS TO OTHERS

Abu Huraira narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “The one who gets married with the intention not to pay dowry to his wife is a fornicator. And the one who borrows money with the intention not to pay back is a thief.” [Ibn Hibban in ‘al-Majruheen’ (2/261) No. 941]

-they are always borrowing and begging
-they always asking for rides here and there
-shaikhs friends in Saudi made sure he had his own car
-they were busy

17. POVERTY MAKES YOU TO BE DESPISED BY OTHERS
-they impose visa restrictions on you because you are poor
-they think that women come to be prostitutes
-poverty causes anxiety
-no girl accepts your proposal
-no girl will accept you if you are poor
-no father will give you his daughter if you don't have a job
-a man married his daughter to a man and she had to go home for food

VIRTUES OF DHIKR

-the rasul explained to them the virtues of dhikr

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allāh - Islāmic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allāh, Verily, in the remembrance of Allāh do hearts find rest. (Ra'd 13:28)

....and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allāh (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allāh in prayers, etc.]. And Allāh knows what you do. (Al-'Ankabut 29:45)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) that which pleases Allah; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.'' [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/561) 2322 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/231) 4112, (Abu Eesa al-Tirmidhi said: this hadeeth is hasan ghareeb)]

-some books have fabricated hadith in them

FABRICATED: The members of my household are like the stars in the sky whichever one you follow you shall he guided. [Related by Abu Na'eem and classified fabricated by Adh-Dhahaabee who said a liar was found in the Isnaad called Ahmad Ibn Ishaaq]

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islām), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islāmic Monotheism and all that Islām orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islām has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (Aali Imran 3:104)

On the authority of Abu Umar who said: Allah sent two angels to destroy a township with a natural disaster, but when they got there they found a man praying in the mosque. They went back to Allah and said: 'O Allah we found a man praying in the mosque.' Allah said to the two angels: 'Go back and destroy the township with that man as well because not once did he ever frown when he saw the people indulging in haram.' [Ibnul Qayyim, al-Jawaab al-Kaafi (Vol. 1, pg. 46)]

And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allāh is Severe in punishment. (Al-Anfal 8:25)

“If the people who know Allah disobey Allah, He will make the ignorant dominate them.” [Related by Abu Naeem al-Asbahani in 'Hilyatul Awliya' (8/91)]

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim (1/69) No. 49, Musnad Ahmad (3/10) No. 11088, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/145) No. 4013, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/469) No. 2172, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/296) No. 1140, Sunan al-Nasa'i (8/112) No. 5009]

-sharh of hadith above:
-if you don't enjoin the right and forbid the wrong,
-the punishment will encompass everybody
-if you don't hate the wrong in your heart there is no emaan

Abu Dharr (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The best of the actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah." [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/198) No. 4599 and Musnad Ahmad (5/146) No. 21341]

al-Bara' Ibn 'Azib (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: ..."The strongest bond of faith is to love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah." [Musnad Ahmad (4/286) No. 18547, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (12/75) No. 9066, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (7/80) No. 34338]

-if you see a man wearing lipstick and holding a handbag
-and you don't hate this in your heart you have no emaan

...They said, "O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his carnal desire will he have some reward for that?" He (SAW) said, "Do you not see that if he were to act upon it [his desire] in an unlawful manner then he would be deserving of punishment? Likewise, if he were to act upon it in a lawful manner then he will be deserving of a reward." It was related by Muslim.

-intimacy is an ibaadah in Islam
-because of this hadith there is not a Muslim woman with low libido
-people who are not intimate in their marriage
-sometimes will have an affair
-when a woman is intimate with her husband, it helps him lower his gaze
-you should not resort to divorce hastily
-see the wali and try to solve the issues
-after three talaqs your marriage is over

Abu Huraira (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, and thus he spends the night angry with her, the angels continue cursing her till the morning." [al-Bukhari (3237) and Muslim (1436)]

-if you pronounce all three at the same
-it is counted as three divorces according to Hanafi fiqh
-Hanbali fiqh says it is only one divorce
-counting 3 together as one is the correct opinion

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Tawus said: Abu Sahba' said to Ibn Abbas: Do you know that a divorce by three pronouncements was made a single one during the time of the Prophet (SAW), and of Abu Bakr and in the early days of the caliphate of Umar? He replied: Yes. [Sunan Abu Dawud (Vol. 1, pg. 669) No. 2200]

Talq ibn Ali (RA) reported that Allahs Messenger (SAW) said, "When a man calls his wife to satisfy his urge then she must go to him even if she is at the stove." [Sunan Tirmidhi (3/465) No. 1160, Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (8/187) No. 8922 and Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (3/558) No. 17135]

-adultery is a major sin in Islam
-it causes havoc in the community
-it gives children the wrong fathers
-if you listen to your Muslim parents you will never get married/make hijra/make jihad
-you need to be married so you don't get into zina

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “When a man proposes marriage and you are pleased with his religion and his character then marry (your daughter) to him. If you do not do it then there would be mischief on earth and much corruption”. [Tirmidhi 1086, Ibn e Majah 1967]

-Muslim parents have issues
-if you listen to them you will never get married/study Islam
-they want you to stay in darul harb and chase the dollar till you drop dead

QUESTION 1:-

What is the command for talaq, can it be other than saying "i divorce you", what if one says "1, 2, 3" to mean as 3 divorce?

Answer 1:-

In order for talaq to take place divorce has to be pronounced
-if he says i don't need you anymore
-even this is not talaq
-even if he says 'if you leave the house you are divorced'
-he needs to be asked what he meant
-it is bid'ah to pronounce 3 talaq in one sitting
-divorce takes effect by email, test message, on the phone etc.

She is still your wife after you divorce her
-unless if the 3 months iddah elapse
-so it is haram to propose to a woman in iddah
-he can call her to bed if he wants
-and she should respond because he is feeding her

QUESTION 2:-

What if i want to get married to a brother who is practising but has a weakness for money?

Answer 2:-

Get married if he has ambition
-do not marry him if he is lazy and has no ambition
-marry and put your trust in Allah
-many people get rich after marriage

"Three groups of people Allah obliged Himself to help them: Mujahid in the cause of Allah, a worker to pay his debt, and the one who wants to marry to live a chaste life." (Tirmidhi 1661, Nisai 3120, Ibn e Majah 2518, Ahmed 9637)

QUESTION 3:-

Assalamu alaikum shaikh, you said we are to make baraa from the people who use drugs etc. but is doing this not sending them away to the web of shaytan and deviants? Are we not supposed to help them get out of it?

Answer 3:-
Firstly, Allah (swt) said He won't help anyone unless he changes
-you can't help them unless they try to help themselves and change

Verily! Allāh will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allāh). But when Allāh wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector. (Ra'd 13:11)

-the man on drugs needs to give up on drugs
-if he shows signs that he is trying to change and wants to
-then you can mingle and help
-else you should stay away from him
-because you may be contaminated
-they are human devils and will steal from you

QUESTION 4:-

Assalamu alaikum, what is the cure for laziness as this is another reason for poverty? BarakAllahu feek

Answer 4:-
The cure for laziness is ambition
-when Umar (r.a) was a caliph he saw a man in the masjid
-and asked him who feeds him and his family
-he said his brother and he got kicked out of the masjid
-he said that his brother was better than him

QUESTION 5:-

Assalamu alaikum, my question is regarding being tested with poverty. I am sure that a decade ago, I was tested with it up until a year ago. I failed miserably, and had no patience with it. It was so bad that I am still incapable of remorse for being impatient with the poverty. If I failed that test by being impatient and losing a measure of piety, is there still hope for me to go to Jannat now that the test is over? And if so, under what conditions does this hope apply? Jazakullah, Shaykh.

Answer 5:-

When you are tested with poverty as long as you didn't insult Allah
-then you've passed the test
-this is how some people behave when they face poverty
-some people apostate

As for man, when his Lord tries him by giving him honour and gifts, then he says (puffed up): "My Lord has honoured me." (Al-Fajr 89:15)

But when He tries him, by straitening his means of life, he says: "My Lord has humiliated me!" (Al-Fajr 89:16)

Suhayb Ibn Sinan narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Wonderful are the affairs of a believer; for there is good in every affair of his; this is not the case with anyone else except a believer. If he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (Allah), thus there is good for him in it. If he suffers affliction, he endures patiently, which is good for him. [Sahih Muslim (4/2295) No. 2999]

And among mankind is he who worships Allāh as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islām). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss. (Al-Hajj 22:11)

-if you have, then the door of taubah is still open
-people became apostates in the time of Abu Bakr (r.a) but they made taubah
-most of them died as shaheed on the battlefield
-the heart of the human being keeps turning over
-Umar left his house to kill the rasul (saw)
-he took shahada by the end of the day
-the heart changes, that is why Allah taught us a dua in 3:8

(They say): "Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower." (Aali Imran 3:8)

HADITH NUMBER 24:

On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifaree (RA) from the Prophet (SAW) from his Lord, that He said: O My servants! I have forbidden dhulm (oppression) for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except those whom I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I shall guide you. O My servants, all of of you are hungry except those whom I have fed, so seek food from Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except those whom I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you commit sins by day and by night, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm me, and you will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as pious as the most pious heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not increase My Kingdom an iota. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as wicked as the most wicked heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not decrease My Kingdom an iota. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all to stand together in one place and ask of Me, and I were to give everyone what he requested, then that would not decrease what I Possess, except what is decreased of the ocean when a needle is dipped into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I account for you, and then recompense you for. So he who finds good, let him praise Allah, and he who finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself. [Sahih Muslim (4/1994) No. 2577]

BIOGRAPHY OF ABU DHARR AL GHIFAREE

Abu Dharr al-Ghifaree (RA) was born in the hijaaz region
-he was from the Banu Kinaanah tribe
-and so he was classified as from the al muhajiroon

He was very famous for his strict piety
-he was also a staunch supporter of Ali
-a staunch opponent of Mu’awiya
-because of this he is loved by the Shiites
-they claimed Abu Dharr was the first Muslim socialist
-because he called for equality

SHARH OF HADEETH:

The hadith of our dars today is a hadith Qudsi
-this means the meaning is from Allah and the prophet expressed it in his own words
-he learnt it from his Lord
-when this is said you know it is a hadith from Allah

Allah said do not oppress each other
-oppression is to deny someone his rights
-if you don't allow a girl to marry who she wants you have oppressed her

This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allāh is never unjust to (His) slaves. (Aali Imran 3:182)

-this is the biggest problem in the world today
-everyone oppresses everyone else
-if you put power, women or money in front of a man who has no taqwa
-he'll use misuse and abuse

Many people complain about the leaders oppressing people
-while you oppress your daughters by giving them away to men they don't love

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allāh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Well¬Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma'idah 5:8)

Allah says He does not oppress His servants
-it is haram in Islam to go to night clubs/commit zina etc.
-there are things also that are haram for Allah to do
-It is haram for Allah to oppress
-Allah is never unjust to His slaves
-It is haraam for Allah to tell a lie
-It is haraam for Allah to break His promises

Verily, Allāh never breaks His Promise". (Aali Imran 3:9)

Certainly, Allāh does not fail in His Promise. (Ra'd 13:31)

… and Allāh fails not in His Promise, but most of men know not. (Ar-Rum 30:6)

-It is haraam for Allah to beget a son

How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything. (Al-An'am 6:101)

Allah has no consort/no wife
-How can he then beget a son?

And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allāh) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allāh, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." (Maryam 19:88)

Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. (Maryam 19:89)

Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, (Maryam 19:90)

-Three duaas are always answered by Allah

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger said, "Three prayers are surely answered: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveller, and the supplication of the father for his son." [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/502) No. 3448, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/30) No. 3862, Musnad Ahmad (2/258) No. 7501, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/89) No. 1536]

..and let not the hatred of some people in (once) stopping you from Al¬Masjid¬al¬Harām (at Makkah) lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help you one another in Al¬Birr and At¬Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Severe in punishment. (Al-Ma'idah 5:2)

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikûn (see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud. (Al-Ma'idah 5:82)

-What about the Muslims of Palestine as well as the Rohingha Muslims?
-they are all oppressed
-whenever a people hate you it is hard to expect justice from them

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allāh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Well¬Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma'idah 5:8)

-the Muslims in USA and UK are living behind enemy lines
-this is why Babar Ahmed was extradited.
-when they arrested him it was bloody
-it is deja vu, like what happened to Rodney king
-it is impossible for a kaffir to be just
-they have no taqwa

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: The Prophet sent Mu'adh to Yemen and said, "Fear the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." [al-Bukhari (1496) and Muslim (19)]

Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said: Hence it was said that Allah supports just nations even if they are kaafirs, and He does not support unjust nations even if they are Muslims. The Prophet (SAW) said: “No sin brings a swifter punishment than injustice and severing the ties of kinship.” The unjust person will be punished in this world even if he is forgiven and granted mercy in the Hereafter. That is because justice is the foundation of all things. If a thing is based on justice it will endure, even if its founder has no share in the Hereafter. If it is not based on justice then it will not endure, even if its founder has faith for which he will be rewarded in the Hereafter. [Majmua al-Fataawa (28/146)]

…O My servants, all of you are astray except those whom I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I shall guide you…

-this is telling you that there is only one al Haadi, the guide
-the most pious person to walk the earth was Prophet Muhammad (saw)
-yet he could not make his uncle a Muslim

Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allāh guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)

-he was devastated that his uncle died a kaffir
-he loved his uncle (emotional love): proof you can love a kaffir
-because his uncle did not fight the deen
-Muhammad wanted his uncle to be with him in paradise
-when the prophet told his uncle to recite the shahada
-the devil Abu Jahl told him to die with *dignity*
-and so his uncle died a kaffir

Narrated by Saeed bin Al-Musaiyyab from his father who said: “when the time of death of Abu Talib approached, Allah’s Apostle(saw) went to him and found Abu Jahl bin Hisham and Abdullah bin Abi Umayyia by his side. Allah’s Apostle said to Abu Talib, ‘O uncle! Say: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah (La ilaha illAllah), a sentence with which I shall be a witness i.e. intercede for you before Allah’. Abu Jahl and Abdullah ibn Umaiyya said, ‘O Abu Talib! Are you going to denounce the religion of your father Abdul Muttalib?’, Allah’s Apostle kept on inviting Abu Talib to say ‘Laa ilaha illAllah’ (i.e. None has the right to Worshipped except Allah) while they Abu Jahl and Abdullah kept on repeating their statement till Abu Talib said as his last statement that he was on the religion of his father Abdul Muttalib and thus he refused to say ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah’ (La ilaha illAllah). (Sahih Bukhari (Arabic/English) Vol.2 pg.248 No.442

-Allah guides the one who humbles himself
-He does not guide the proud and arrogant
-humility is a quality of the prophets

And whomsoever Allāh wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islām, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus Allāh puts the wrath on those who believe not. (Al-An'am 6:125)

-If you are blessed with wealth it can cause you to become proud and arrogant
-the rich will be the majority in the hellfire
-they say *who needs Islam when i have a billion dollars*?
-your wealth becomes a curse when it causes you to reject Islam

Allāh has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allāh's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment. (Al-Baqarah 2:7)

And you might have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave, and when it set, turning away from them to the left, while they lay in the midst of the Cave. That is (one) of the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, signs) of Allāh. He whom Allāh guides, is rightly guided; but he whom He sends astray, for him you will find no Walī (guiding friend) to lead him (to the right Path). (Al-Kahf 18:17)

"In Habasha, there is a king that no one is wronged under his reign, so emigrate to his country until Allah makes a relief and a way out for you from what you suffer" [al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Bayhaqi (9/16) No. 17734, narrated by Um Salamah]

-the most valuable thing in your life is guidance
-in surah Fatiha you ask Allah for guidance 17 times per day
-in the grave you are asked three questions
-Who is your lord/prophet/religion?
-Christians will say Jesus
-Jews cannot say Muhammad, they hated him
-without guidance you cannot answer the questions in the grave
-and the angels will hit you in the head with a hammer for wrong answers

...'Ali said, "Should I fight them till they become like us (i.e. Muslim)?" The Prophet said, "Go to them patiently and calmly till you enter the land. Then, invite them to Islam, and inform them what is enjoined upon them, for, by Allah, if Allah gives guidance to somebody through you, it is better for you than possessing red camels." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 52, Hadith #253]

-tawfiq is when Allah guides you to Islam on your own
-al irshad is when someone guides someone else to Islam

…O My servants, all of of you are hungry except those whom I have fed, so seek food from Me and I shall feed you…

Food is mentioned by Allah in this hadith Qudsi
-food is a barakah and you take it for granted
-some people get a thousand dollars from food stamps
-there are no food stamps in Mali, Bangladesh etc.
-when shaikh toured Africa he saw no food stamps
-people are starving in Africa; they have extended bellies
-the flies hang around waiting for the kids to die

They have food stamps and jobseeker allowance in UK and USA
-people starve to death in countries because there are no food stamps

Narrated By 'Aisha: The Prophet used to seek refuge with Allah (by saying), "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from the affliction of the Fire and from the punishment in the Fire, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of wealth, and I seek refuge with You from the affliction of poverty, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 75, Hadith #387]

And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). (Ad-Duha 93:11)

-when the crusaders want to convert Muslims they don't go to rich countries
-they go to poor countries
-they can't go to north Mali because the fundamentalists are there
-so USA asked Algeria to invade Mali
-the evangelists always target poor countries
-they know poverty leads to kufr

(It is a great Grace and Protection from Allāh), for the taming of the Quraish, (Quraish 106:1)

(And with all those Allāh's Grace and Protections for their taming, We cause) the (Quraish) caravans to set forth safe in winter (to the south), and in summer (to the north without any fear), (Quraish 106:2)

So let them worship (Allāh) the Lord of this House (the Ka'bah in Makkah). (Quraish 106:3)

(He) Who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear. (Quraish 106:4)

-in this surah Allah said He kept them away from fear
-He kept them away from oppression
-yet they worshipped Lat and Hubal
-why do they worship sticks and stones?
-It is Allah who sustained them
-in poor countries they have long lines at the USA embassy
-they want to go get food etc.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) turned to us and said: 'O Muhajirin, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of the wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break the covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Arabic/English), Vol. 5, pg. 222-223, Hadith #4019]

-if they paid their zakat they would be successful
-the starving countries have no welfare system
-Allah has withheld the rain
-if you want Allah to be kind to you
-then be kind to the servants of Allah

…. and do good as Allāh has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allāh likes not the Mufsidûn (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts). (Al-Qasas 28:77)

-if you want the food to come, be charitable
-Australia has welfare system
-if you are on welfare in Denmark, Sweden and Norway you live like a king in Africa

...O My servants, all of you are naked except those whom I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I shall clothe you...

-like food, clothing is a necessity

O Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover yourselves (screen your private parts, etc.) and as an adornment, and the raiment of righteousness, that is better. Such are among the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allāh, that they may remember (i.e. leave falsehood and follow truth[]). (Al-A'raf 7:26)

The rasul (saw) used to make dua whenever he had a new garment
-you have to dress properly for a job
-otherwise you fail the interview
-clothing can be a fitna or a barakah
-scientist found some men in the amazon impotent
-the women are always naked
-it decreased the desire of the men from seeing this constantly
-when you wear hijab it increases the libido of the man and the women
-the shaytan hates clothing

O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitān (Satan) deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa (Eve)] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and Qabīluhu (his soldiers from the jinns or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the Shayātin (devils) Auliyā' (protectors and helpers) for those who believe not. (Al-A'raf 7:27)

-they put women in prison in France for wearing hijab
-yet a prostitute can walk down the road half naked

Priests/teachers etc. were arrested for using credit card to download child porn
-they want to get rid of cash so they can keep track of everything
-they will know from the things you buy your character
-cash is not traceable

Bahz ibn Hakim reported from his father who from his grandfather that he asked the Prophet (SAW): 'from whom they should conceal their awrah and from whom not?' He said, “Guard your awrah except from your wife and what your right hand possesses (female slaves).” He asked, “O Messenger of Allah (SAW) what when people are with each other?” He said, “If it is possible that no one may observe your private parts, see that none sees them.” He asked, “O Prophet (SAW) of Allah what if one of us is alone?” He said, “But Allah has more right that people should be ashamed before Him.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/97) No. 2769, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/40) No. 4017, Musnad Ahmad (5/3) No. 20046]

-the clothes you wear say if you are a first/second/third class citizen
-the shoes that stars wear start from $5000 a pair
-if the prophet (saw) was alive he would not be walking around in Versace,
-this is a gay label
-Georgio Armani and Tommy Hilfiger are better
-NIKE puts a pagan symbol on their shoes
-NIKE also put Allah’s name on their shoes

Nike (Greek mythology) is the Greek goddess of victory, both in battle and in sport. The Romans knew her as Victoria, a name that obviously means "victory", and is still popular today: http://www.gods-and-monsters.com/nike-greek-mythology.html

-wearing NIKE promotes shirk
-wear Adidas or Reebok
-garments are so important that even the prophet (saw)
-used to seek refuge in Allah each time he dressed in a new garment

...O My servants, you commit sins by day and by night, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I shall forgive you...

Sins means to disobey Allah knowingly
-so if you know that alcohol is haram and you drink it, it is a sin
-if you do not know then it is not a sin
-if you are under ikraah (duress) you are not committing a sin
-if you have a slip of the tongue, you are not sinning

Whoever disbelieved in Allāh after his belief, except him who is forced thereto and whose heart is at rest with Faith but such as open their breasts to disbelief, on them is wrath from Allāh, and theirs will be a great torment. (An-Nahl 16:106)

In another version of Muslim, he said: “Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink and it is lost. He, having lost all hopes (to get that back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your Rubb'. He commits this mistake out of extreme joy.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2104) No. 2747]

-the prophet used to seek forgiveness 100 times per day

Al-Agharr al-Muzani reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "A cloudiness comes over my heart and I ask for Allah's forgiveness a hundred times a day." [Sahih Muslim (4/2075) No. 2702, Musnad Ahmad (4/211) No. 17881, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/84) No. 1515]

Abu Huraira (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying, "I swear by Allah that I seek Allah's Pardon and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day." [Sahih Bukhari (8/67) No. 6307, Musnad Ahmad (2/341) No. 8474, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/719) No. 3815, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/383) No. 3259]

-if you announce your sin Allah will not forgive you

Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger having said: “By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2106) No. 2749]

Anas (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “Every son of Adam commits sin but the best of those who sin are those who repent.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/659) No. 2499, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/320) No. 4250, Sunan al-Darime (2/392) No. 2727, Musnad Ahmad (3/198) No. 13072]

Allah (swt) forgives all sins even shirk
-shirk means paganism, polytheist
-Allah will forgive you if you make your taubah before you die

Say: "O 'Ibādī (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allāh, verily Allāh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Az-Zumar 39:53)

-so if a Hindu makes taubah and becomes a Muslim
-Allah will forgive him

Verily, Allāh forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allāh in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

Allah said that we sin by night and by day
-an example of this is backbiting, gossiping and slandering

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger having said: “By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2106) No. 2749]

-this is why the rasul (saw) advised us to control our tongues
-there is no such Muslim that doesn't commit a sin
-the only sin that can make you a kaafir is a sin that is kufr Akbar (e.g. magic)

Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "Insulting a Muslim is going off the path (fusuq) and killing him is disbelief (kufr)." [al-Bukhari (48) and Muslim (64)]

-the kufr in this hadith is minor kufr
-when the kuffaar wrote to Ali (r.a) to help him fight Mu’awiya (r.a)
-he threatened to gang up with him and fight them

THE 5 PILLARS OF TAWBAH

-everything has pillars

1) STOP THE ACT

-Salman Rushdie wrote a book insulting Islam
-then he said he repented
-but he is still selling the book
-how can you forgive this?
-even the white kuffar of the UK were appalled by his writings
-he is a low life scum of the earth
-how can you be a shaikh and say to forgive

2) YOU SHOULD FEEL REMORSE FOR THE ACT

On the authority of Abdullah Ibn Masood the Prophet (SAW) said: “Regret is repentance.” [Musnad Ahmad (1/376) No. 3568 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/322) No. 4252]

3) YOU NEED TO SEEK FORGIVENESS FROM THE ONE YOU HAVE HARMED

-Allah will never forgive you for this unless the person forgives you

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his honour or something, let him ask him for forgiveness before the time when there will be neither dinar nor dirham, and if he has any good deeds it will be taken from him in proportion to the wrong he did, and if he does not have any good deeds (hasanaat), some of the other person's evil deeds (sayi’aat) will be taken and given to him to bear.” [Sahih Bukhari (3/129) No. 2449]

4) BEG ALLAH TO FORGIVE YOU

On the authority of Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: “There is no one who commits a sin then purifies himself well and stands and prays two rak’ahs, then asks Allah for forgiveness, but Allah will forgive him. Then he recited this verse: ‘And those who, when they have committed Fahishah (illegal sexual intercourse) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins; (and none can forgive sins but Allah) and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done, while they know’ [Aal ‘Imraan 3:135].” [Sunan Abu Dawud (2/86) No. 1521]

5) TO MAKE TAUBAH BEFORE THE SUN RISES FROM THE WEST
-and before you death rattles

Ibn Umar reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “Indeed, Allah accepts repentance of His slave as long as he does not gasp for last breaths.” [Musnad Ahmad (2/132) No. 6160, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/547) No. 3537, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/322) No. 4253, Musnad Abu Ya'la (10/81) No. 5717, Sahih Ibn Hibban (2/394) No. 628, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (9/281) No. 6661]

Abu Musa narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “Allah spreads out His hand at night to accept the repentance of those who committed sins during the day, and He spreads out His hand during the day to accept the repentance of those who committed sins during the night. (He will continue to do this) until the sun rises from the West.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2113) No. 2759]

…O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as pious as the most pious heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not increase My Kingdom an iota. O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, and the humans of you and the jinn of you, were all as wicked as the most wicked heart of any individual amongst you, then this would not decrease My Kingdom an iota…

Taqwa means to place between yourself and the wrath of Allah a barrier
-Allah mentioned both human and jinn in the hadith

On the authority of Abu Dharr Jundub ibn Junadah, and Abu Abdur-Rahman Muadh bin Jabal (RA), that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Have taqwa (fear) of Allah wherever you may be, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed which will wipe it out, and behave well towards the people. It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a hasan (good) hadith, and in some copies it is stated to be a hasan saheeh hadith.

-this is because only man and jinn will be judged on judgement day
-they are called ath-thaqalain

And I (Allāh) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). (Adh-Dhariyat 51:56)

-there were some kuffaar who felt that they were doing
-the rasul (saw) a favor by taking shahada
-Allah revealed 49:17 to address this

They regard as favour upon you (O Muhammad SAW) that they have embraced Islām. Say: "Count not your Islām as a favour upon me. Nay, but Allāh has conferred a favour upon you, that He has guided you to the Faith, if you indeed are true. (Al-Hujurat 49:17)

-so do not have an attitude and think that you are doing Allah a favor
-Allah did you a favor by guiding you to Islam

It was narrated that Abu Huraira (RA) said: 'When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) offered the funeral prayer he would say: "Allahummaghfir lihayyina wa mayyitina, wa shahidina wa gha'ibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarina wa unthana. Allahumma man ahyaitahu minna faahyihi 'alal-islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa tawaffahu 'alal-eemaan. Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la tudillana ba'dah" (“O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die (in a state of) faith. O Allah do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him)”. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Vol. 2, pg. 467) No. 1498 and Musnad Ahmad (Vol. 2, pg. 368) No. 8795]

-it is a favour from Allah to die a Muslim
-some people die as kaafir

…O My servants, it is but your deeds that I account for you, and then recompense you for. So he who finds good, let him praise Allah, and he who finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself. [Sahih Muslim (4/1994) No. 2577]

Allah only reckons you for your deeds
-your deeds alone can't take you to Jannat
-but you enter Jannat only with HIS mercy

Jabir reported: I heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: None of you would get into Paradise because of his good deeds alone, and he would not be rescued from Fire, not even I, but because of the Mercy of Allah. [Sahih Muslim, Book 39, Hadith #6769]

-we sin by night and by day so we are not pious enough
-we fall short in our taqwa
-so our deeds can't guarantee us Jannat

QUESTION 1:-

If there is a man who was with a woman when they were both kafir, but the society saw it as normal to have relationships without marriage and they had kids, but then the husband embraced Islam, is that kid from the long-term relationship still classed as his even though they never saw it as anything wrong and were not warned about the hukum after 17 years? jzk

Answer 1:-

These kids are your kids and you are not allowed to disown them
-when we say the bastard child has no father that is in the Islamic state
-take care of them and teach them Islam
-you are giving them da’wah by taking care of them

QUESTION 2:-

Assalamu alaikum, can you explain the reason why you say Adam (a.s) was in heaven and not paradise?

Answer 2:-

It is a huge mistake to say that Adam was in paradise
-there is a huge difference between paradise and heaven
-the keeper of paradise said that he was commanded
-not to open the gate of paradise for anyone before Muhammad (saw)

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA) the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “I will come to the gate of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection and ask for it to be opened. The gatekeeper will ask, ‘Who are you?’ I will say: ‘Muhammad.’ He will say, ‘I was commanded not to open it for anyone before you.’” [Sahih Muslim (1/188) No. 197]

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA) the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Amongst the prophets I would have the largest following on the Day of Resurrection, and I would be the first to knock at the door of Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim (1/188) No. 196]

-Allah (swt) also said in a hadith Qudsi that no one have seen the things He has prepared in paradise

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Allah said: 'I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heart.'" Thus recite if you wish (1): "And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Qur'an Chapter 32 Verse 17)." (1) The words "Thus recite if you wish" are those of Abu Hurayrah. [Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah]

-so Adam (a.s) was in heaven not paradise
-the virgins of paradise are currently living in paradise
-Allah said that when you enter paradise, you'll abide there forever
-but Adam was thrown out

QUESTION 3:-

Assalamu alaikum Sheikh, I need for you to explain how Allah descends every night. Since he is not everywhere as the sufis claim. Some people try to trick you into their aqeeda by using the hadith that Allah descends every third of the night, and since on earth the times are different (meaning that it would always be the 3rd of the night somewhere on earth) - they claim that Allah is everywhere due to this hadith. How do I refute this claim, this is for benefit of my aqeeda as well as others' Insha'Allah. Jazakallahu 3ilm wa taqwah.

Answer 3:-

The hadith is famous and states that Allah (swt) Descends every night

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Our Lord (glorified and exalted be He) descends each night to the earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He says: 'Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it him? Who is asking forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?'" [al-Bukhari (7494) (also by Muslim (758), Malik (619), at-Tirmidhi (3498) and Abu Dawud (1315)]

-we are not allowed to compare Allah with man
-we should not ask how He descends
-but should just believe it
-we take the hadith at face value

Ja'far Ibn Abdullah narrated: We were with Malik Ibn Anas when a man came to him and said: “O Abu Abdullah (Allah said) 'Ar-Rahman upon the Throne Istawa' (20:5), how was His Istiwa? Imam Malik inclined his head and was silent until the sweat of fever covered his brow, then he looked up and said: "Istiwa is not unknown, the Kayf (how) is uncomprehendable, believing in it is wajib (obligatory), and asking about it is bid'ah (innovation), and I do not think that you are anything but an innovator." Then he ordered that the man be expelled. [Abu-Naeem Al-Asbahani in 'Hilyatul-Awliya wa Tabaqat Al-Asfiya' (Vol. 6, pg. 325-326)]

-it is bid'ah to ask about this
-this can cause you to apostate
-Allah is everywhere with His knowledge and not in Person
-some places are beneath HIM

Abu Haneefah (rh) said, when asked of his opinion of the one who says, ‘I do not know whether Allah is above the heavens or on the earth.’ - “He has disbelieved, because Allah says, “The Most Merciful rose above the Throne,” and His Throne is above His seven heavens.’ He was then asked , ‘what if he said that Allah is above His Throne but he does not know whether the Throne is in the heavens or on the earth?’ He said, ‘He has disbelieved, because He has denied that He is above the heavens, And whosoever denied that He is above the heavens has disbelieved.” (‘Sharh Usul I'tiqaad Ahlus Sunnah’ of al-Laalikaaee (d.414AH), ‘al-Uluww’ of adh- Dhahabee, also ‘Sharh Aqueedah at-Tahaawiyyah’ of ibn Abee al-Izz al-Hanafee)

QUESTION 4:-

Someone told me that there is an hour on Friday when you can ask for forgiveness and Allah accepts it. Is this a true hadith?

Answer 4:-

Yes the hadith is true and some scholars believe it is the time
-between the khutbas when the imam sits

QUESTION 5:-

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, I am a revert and I know that one of the things that makes a muslim what he is, is the salah but I feel like when I make salah, it is more of just a ritual and there is no feeling behind it. I really want to understand this and I want to have a sincere relationship with my Lord, I try to be humble and I stay away from other harams, why do I feel like this and what can I do to change it because I don’t want to be one of the losers or a kaffir?

Answer 5:-

You need to understand what you are reciting from the surahs
-you need to know what you are reciting in all the actions of the salah

QUESTION 6:-

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, is there any religious significance when Bedouin women make that cackling noise wagging their tongues (I think it is called ululation)?

ANSWER 6:-
-this is a custom amongst the Arabs
-it’s more to do with culture but Islam accepts it

QUESTION 7:-

Assalamu alaikum, when someone knows eating pork is haram but does it, he is a faasiq but what if someone says i don't care if its haram?

ANSWER 7:-
-if he says that he becomes a kaffir
-it shows you have total disrespect for the sharia of Allah
-if he has remorse he is not a kaffir

QUESTION 8:-

If a mother causes fitna and drama and her husband says a lot of bad things about the mujahideen and my mother has hatred towards the mujahideen. My mother is a kafir? What advice do you have on this matter?

ANSWER 8:-
-the people who say bad things about the mujahideen are brainwashed by the Zionist media
-their brains are in the hands of the Zionist media
-they have a disease of the heart
-the mujahideen are fighting to liberate man and land
-the people who speak badly against them don't know al walaa wal baraa
-you should never cheer the kaffirs against the Muslims

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyā' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliyā' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliyā', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allāh guides not those people who are the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers and unjust). (Al-Ma'idah 5:51)

-this is major hypocrisy
-they need to be taught their deen'
-many walk around with Muslim names but are yet to be Muslims
-they need to know how to reject the taghoot
-the taghoot is the kaffir army/court house, all kaffir institutions like the UN etc.
-black magic is also taghoot
-the magician is a taghoot because he wants people to believe in his doings

QUESTION 9:-

Assalamu alaikum, can you explain the behavior of the women of the sahabah during their time, since some of our women seem to be unsympathetic to the defiance of some Muslim men to the west right now?

ANSWER 9:-
-the women of that time made hijra for the sake of Allah
-they left their kaffir husbands for the sake of Allah

O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them, Allāh knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give the disbelievers that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr) and let them (the disbelievers, etc.) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allāh. He judges between you. And Allāh is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Al-Mumtahinah 60:10)

-the women of that time obeyed their husbands
-the woman in the time of the prophet went to the battlefield to help the Muslims

I saw `Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr and Um Sulaim both lifting their dresses up so that I was able to see the ornaments of their legs, and they were carrying the water skins of their arms to pour the water into the mouths of the thirsty people and then go back and fill them and come to pour the water into the mouths of the people again. Abu Talha's sword fell from his hand twice or thrice. [Sahih Bukhari (5/37) No. 3811]

QUESTION 10:-

What is the ruling concerning a pregnant woman who missed the whole month of Ramadan due to pregnancy?

ANSWER 10:-
-she does not have to make it up
-she has to pay about $150 for the month
-if she misses 3 Ramadans, how can you tell her to make up 90 days of fasting
-if she cannot find the $150 nothing is required of her
-it is $5 a day for missing Ramadan

SHARH OF THE 40 HADEETH OF IMAM AN NAWAWI: HADEETH NUMBER 23

By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

Bismillah…

HADEETH NUMBER 23:

On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin al-Harith al-Asharee (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Purity is half of iman (faith). ‘al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth. And the salah (prayer) is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you. Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin." [Sahih Muslim (1/203) No. 223]

This hadeeth is proof that the Muslims are the most hygienic
-in the hadith it means spiritual purification
-and shirk is impure
-kaffirs cannot enter Makkah or Madina because they are impure

Muslims cannot be impure
-the kaffirs are impure spiritually because of their aqeeda
-they do not make istinja-washing of private parts after urinating and defecation
-when Allah dismisses people of being impure
-it is because of their beliefs and not making istinja
-Muslims are circumcised (men) and it is compulsory

Narrated By Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying. "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, cutting the moustaches short, clipping the nails, and depilating the hair of the armpits." [al-Bukhari (6297) and Muslim (496)]

A Muslim has to shave his pubic hair
-and hair under the armpit every 40 days

A Muslim woman should not marry an uncircumcised man
-because when a man is not circumcised he is not clean
-and he is prone to cancer

Had they followed Jesus and get circumcised they won’t be in this state
-but they abandoned what Jesus brought and followed Paul who was a Jew
-his aim and objective was to destroy the teachings of Jesus
-because a Jew always tries to destroy the message of Allah
-this was what Abdullah ibn Saba wanted

…"Purity is half of iman (faith)…

The Rasool (saw) said cleanliness is half of your emaan
-and in order to be clean you have to be circumcised, clip your nails, brush your teeth
-you are not allowed to have bad breath

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "If it was not for the fact that I might have been overburdening my community - or the people - I would have ordered them to use the siwak for every prayer." [al-Bukhari (887) and Muslim (252)]

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: The Prophet once passed by two graves, and those two persons (in the graves) were being tortured. He said, "They are being tortured not for a great thing (to avoid). One of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other was going about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends). He then took a green leaf of a date-palm tree split it into two pieces and fixed one on each grave. The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you done so?" He replied, "I hope that their punishment may be lessened till they (the leaf) become dry." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23, Hadith #443]

The prophet (saw) passed by 2 graves who were being punished
-one was a talebearer and the other used to drop urine on his trousers
-your clothing cannot be soiled with najasa (urine and feces)
-if they are it means you didn’t perform tahara

It is reported from Hudhaifa that news reached him (the Holy Prophet) that a certain man carried tales. Upon this Hudhaifa remarked: I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) saying: "The tale-bearer shall not enter Paradise." [al-Bukhari (6056) and Muslim (189)]

Because Muslims are the most hygienic on earth
-we are not allowed to keep pet dogs
-the angels don’t enter homes with 5 things:

1. PICTURES HANGING
2. A PERSON WITH JANABA
3. A BELL
4. A PET DOG
5. URINE

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported having heard Abu Talhah say that he heard Allah’s Messenger (SAW) say, “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture of an animate.” [Tirmidhi 2813, Bukhari 3225, Muslim 2106 & 3649, Ahmed 16347, Nisai 4288]

The angel of mercy is the one that abstains from these homes
-because the angel of death will still enter your home if it is your time to die

The Islamic religion is so hygienic
-we are not allowed to go to bed with our wives while they are menstruating
-if you do so, you give away 4 1/4 grams of goal in charity

Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said concerning one who had intercourse with his wife when she was menstruating: “Let him give a dinar or half a dinar in charity.” [Musnad Ahmad (1/229) No. 2032, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/251) No. 2168, Sunan Tirmidhi (1/244) No. 136, Sunan An-Nasa’i (1/153) No. 289 and Sunan Ibn Majah (1/405) No. 640]

If your wife was menstruating and then stops
-you can’t go to bed with her until she makes ghusl
-this is the madhab of the 3 imams except Abu Hanifa

The place you pray has to be clean for your salah to be accepted
-the clothing you are praying in have to be clean too
-the person praying has to be in a state of wudu
-praying without wudu makes your salah baatil

It is permissible to divorce your partner if they have bad breath
-or do not pay attention to personal hygiene

HOW TO PERFORM WUDU ACCORDING TO THE PROPHET'S SUNNAH

Humran (the freed slave of Uthman), who said that Uthman ibn Affan (RA) called for water to do wudo’. He washed his hands three times, then he rinsed his mouth and nose, then he washed his face three times, then he washed his right arm up to the elbow three times, then he washed his left arm likewise. Then he wiped his head, then he washed his right foot up to the ankle three times, then he washed his left foot likewise. Then he said, “I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) doing wudo’ as I have done it, then the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘Whoever does wudo’ as I have done it, then prays two rak’ahs in which he focuses completely on his prayer, his previous sins will be forgiven.’” [Sahih Muslim (1/204) No. 226, Musnad Ahmad (1/59) No. 418, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/26) No. 106, Sunan al-Nasa'i (1/64) No. 84, Sunan Darimi (1/544) No. 720]

1. MAKE YOUR INTENTION
-i intend to purify myself by way of wudu in your heart not aloud

2. SAY BISMILLAH

Abu Hurairah narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "...the ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah (in the beginning) is not valid. [Sunan Abu Dawud (1/73) No. 101, Sunan Ibn Majah (1/257) No. 399, Musnad Ahmad (3/41) No. 11388, Sunan Tirmidhi (1/37) No. 25]

Abu Hurayrah (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Every important word or matter that does not begin with remembrance of Allah is maimed.” [Musnad Ahmad (2/359) No. 8797, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/89) No. 1894, Sahih Ibn Hibban (1/173) No. 1, al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (9/185) No. 10258]

-Bismillah in wudu is Sunnah mu’akadah

3. WASH YOUR HANDS 3 TIMES UP TO YOUR WRIST

4. WASH YOUR MOUTH 3 TIMES

5. WASH YOUR NOSE 3 TIMES
-use right hand to put water in your nose and left hand to blow it out

6. WASH YOUR FACE 3 TIMES
-a man should wash the hair on his face
-the one at the side of the cheek
-he has to wash the surface of the beard
-your chin is a part of your face too

7. WASH FROM YOUR FINGERS TO YOUR ELBOWS 3 TIMES
-women who wear nail polish have to take it off
-for their wudu to be valid
-washing up to the elbow means including the elbow
-if you do not wash your elbow, your wudu is invalid

8. WIPE THE HEAD ONCE
-beginning from the front to the back and then bringing the hand back to the front
-when you wipe your head, you need to wipe your ears

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: 'The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The ears are part of the head."' [Sunan Ibn Majah (1/283) No. 445 and Sunan al-Daraqutni (1/175) No. 339]

-use your thumbs to wipe the back of the ears
-and stick the fingers to wipe the lobes and inside
-wiping the back of the neck is the hallmark of Hanafi wudu
-the hadeeth for this is weak therefore doing so is bid'ah

9. WASH YOUR FEET 3 TIMES BEGINNING WITH THE RIGHT
-the Sunnah is to scrub between your toes
-use left hand to wash both feet

10. TO RECITE ASHADU AN LAILAHA ILLALLAH WA ASHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN ABDUHU WARASULUHU

-Tirmidhi added a dua to be recited

'Umar ibn al-Khattab reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "No one among you does wudu' and does wudu' thoroughly -– or adequately - and then testifies, أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُ اللهِ وَرَسُولُهُ 'Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharika Lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu' (I testify that there is no true god except Allah Alone, Who has no partners and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger) without the eight doors of the Garden being opened to him so that he can enter by whichever of them he wishes." [Sahih Muslim (1/209) No. 234]

A report narrated by al-Tirmidhi adds: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ “Allahumma ij’alni min al-tawwaabeena wa’j’alni min al-mutatahhireen (O Allah, make me one of those who repent and make me one of those who purify themselves).” [Sunan Tirmidhi (1/77) No. 55]

TYPES OF GHUSL

1. WAAJIB

2. MUSTAHAB

HOW TO MAKE GHUSL

1. WAAJIB GHUSL
-it has the following components:

a. THE NIYYAH
-i intend to purify myself with ghusl in your heart

b. WASH YOUR MOUTH

c. WASH YOUR NOSE

d. WASH YOUR ENTIRE BODY

It was narrated that ‘Aishah (RA) said: When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) did ghusl for janaabah, he would wash his hands and do wudoo’ as for prayer, then he would wash himself, then he would run his fingers through his hair, then when he thought that it [the water] had reached his skin, he would pour water over it [the head] three times, then he would wash the rest of his body. [al-Bukhari (248) and Muslim (316)]

-all the 4 great imams said this waajib ghusl is accepted
-and sea water can be used for it

2. MUSTAHAB GHUSL

-this has 7 components:

a. NIYYAH
-i intend to purify myself with ghusl

b. TO SAY BISMILLAH

c. WASH THE HANDS 3 TIMES

d. WASH YOUR PRIVATE PARTS
-Aisha and umm salamah taught us how to make ghusl

e. MAKE WUDU LIKE THAT OF SALAH

f. WASH YOUR HAIR INCLUDING THE ROOT
-women don’t need to remove their braids

g. WASH YOUR ENTIRE BODY BEGINNING WITH THE RIGHT SIDE THEN THE LEFT
-this includes your mouth and nose
-ghusl without washing mouth and nose is not accepted

... ‘al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth....

Alhamdulillah is a part of surah Fatiha
-and 2 words are light on the tongue but heavy on the scale

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Two words which are light on the tongue but which are dear to the Most Merciful and will weigh heavily in the balance: Subhan Allah wa bi hamdih, subhan Allah il-‘Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah; Glory be to Allah the Almighty).” [al-Bukhari (6682) and Muslim (2694)]

When you say subhanAllah Allah loves you
-because you are declaring Allah is above all imperfections
-Allah said:

Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! (As-Saffat 37:180)

And peace be on the Messengers! (As-Saffat 37:181)

And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (As-Saffat 37:182)

-He is free of all the weaknesses the kuffaar attribute to Him
-e.g. Allah repents or He beget a son

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version

These ayahs have the expression that Allah Loves

The Rasool (saw) then said salah is nur

...And the salah (prayer) is a light,...

-this nur is the one you have on your face
-the munafiq don’t have this
-the prophet (saw) meant from this statement,
-that the light you need to guide you in the darkness
-salah has the same function
-it prevents you from haram activities

...Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do. (Al-'Ankabut 29:45)

The first thing Allah will ask you on judgement day will be salah
-it is the difference between Islam and kufr

The Messenger (S.A.W.) told us in an authentic hadith , “The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows) : “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were complete It will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah will say: “See if my servant has voluntary prayers, If he has them Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.” [Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa'i, and Al-Hakim]

Abdullah ibn Shaqiq Uqayli (RA) reported, saying “The companions of Muhummad (SAW) did not regard neglect of any of the deeds as disbelief as they did (neglect) of Salah." [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/14) No. 2622 and Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/48) No. 12 who said it met the conditions of al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Between a man (Muslim) and shirk and disbelief lies neglect of salah.” [Sahih Muslim (1/88) No. 82, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/13) No. 2620, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/219) No. 4678, Sunan Ibn Majah (2/181) No. 1078, Sunan An-Nasa'i (1/232) No. 463, Musnad Ahmad (3/370) No. 15021]

CHARITY IS YOUR BURHAN

...and charity is a proof,...

-the munafiqoon don’t give sadaqa
-the prophet meant that giving charity is a sign that you are real Muslim
-because the munafiqoon don’t give it out

And nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW); and that they came not to As-Salat (the prayer) except in a lazy state; and that they offer not contributions but unwillingly. (At-Tawbah 9:54)

-sadaqa is a proof of your emaan
-and one of the signs of the last days is that people will stop paying zakah

-and they don’t do so because they fear poverty
-they think it will eat up their wealth
-but they don’t understand zakah means yanmoo (to grow and increase)

Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return. (Al-Baqarah 2:245)

-the munafiqoon in medina said Allah and his rasul give fake promises
-when the prophet died the first thing they stopped doing was paying zakat
-they said Abu Bakr is not a prophet
-that they only pay zakat to a prophet

Abu Hurayra said, "When the Messenger of Allah (SAW), died and Abu Bakr was khalifa and those of the Arabs who were going to reject rejected, 'Umar said, 'How can we fight people when the Messenger of Allah said, "I am commanded to fight people until they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Whoever says that, his property and life are protected from me, except when there is a legal right to them, and his reckoning is up to Allah."?' Abu Bakr said, 'By Allah, I will fight anyone who makes a distinction between prayer and zakat! Zakat is the right which is due on wealth. By Allah, if they refuse me a nose- rope which they used to pay to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I will fight them for refusing it!' 'Umar said, 'By Allah, then I realised that Allah had expanded Abu Bakr's breast in respect of the decision to fight and I recognised that it was the truth." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

-when a person is a munafiq, sadaqa is a burden to him
-they fear poverty
-the promise of surah baqarah was called a fake promise by them

If you build a masjid for Allah He will build you one in paradise

Huraira (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: (1) A continuous charity, (2) knowledge by which people derive benefit, (3) pious son who prays for him." [Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari No. 38, Muslim (3/1255) No. 1631, Abu Dawud (3/117) No. 2880, al-Nasa'i (6/251) No. 3651, Tirmidhi (3/660) No. 1376, al-Darime (1/148) No. 559, Ahmad (2/372) No. 8831]

Narrated By 'Ubdaidullah Al-Khaulani: I heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan saying, when people argued too much about his intention to reconstruct the mosque of Allah's Apostle, "You have talked too much. I heard the Prophet saying, 'Whoever built a mosque, (Bukair thought that 'Asim, another subnarrator, added, "Intending Allah's Pleasure"), Allah would build for him a similar place in Paradise.'" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, Hadith #441]

-if you become wealthy the first thing you should do is build a masjid

...and patience is illumination,..

-when you have no sabr you will apostate

And among mankind is he who worships Allah as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss. (Al-Hajj 22:11)

And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Al-Anfal 8:46)

-many ayats state Allah is with the patient

And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]. (Al-Baqarah 2:45)

-only the patient can enter paradise

Anas ibn Malik reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “A time will come on the people when the patient among them on his religion will be like one who holds live coal (in his hand). [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/526) No. 2260]

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said; "Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. A man would be a believer in the morning and turn to disbelief in the evening, or he would be a believer in the evening and turn disbeliever in the morning, and would sell his Faith for worldly goods."' [Sahih Muslim (1/110) No. 118, Musnad Ahmad (2/303) No. 8017, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/487) No. 2195]

-do any of you eat your shoes to survive?
-some live off food stamps

Abu Talhah (RA) narrated: We complained to Allah’s Messenger (SAW) about our hunger and raising from our stomach (the garment) bared the stone each of us had tied to it. He showed that he had two stones (tied to his stomach.) [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/585) No. 2371, Bayhaqi in ‘Shu'ab al Emaan’ (13/54) No. 9943]

-so have sabr the way the sahabah had sabr

...and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you...

-the Quran is an argument for you or against you
-some hafidh (memorizers) of the Qur'an do bad things
-you are not allowed to drink alcohol, take drugs and gamble
-you have to become the walking Quran

Yazid ibn Yabnus said, "We went to 'A'isha and said, 'Umm al-Mu'minin, what was the character of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), like?' She replied, 'His character was the Qur'an. Can you recite the sura entitled "The Believers"?' She said, 'Recite: "It is the believers who are successful: those who are humble in their prayer; those who turn away from worthless talk; those who actively pay zakat; those who guard their private parts." (23:1-5)' She said, 'That was the character of the Messenger of Allah (SAW).'" [al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari, No. 308]

-no backbiting
-that is the explanation of the hadith
-some people have memorized the Quran but say Allah is everywhere

The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). (Ta-Ha 20:5)

-what is the point of memorizing the Quran and you don’t believe what it says?
-your aqeeda is against the Quran that you have memorized
-what is the reason for you memorizing the Quran?
-is it for showing off?
-Quran says Allah is above the Arsh (the throne)
-but you say He is everywhere

Some claim that the throne is an abstract noun
-what do you mean that the Arsh is an abstract noun?
-are you saying that you cannot touch the Arsh?
-Eight angels will carry the throne

And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. (Al-Haqqah 69:17)

-the prophet said Mûsa will hold a pillar of the throne
-you are a hafidh

Narrated Abu Said: The Prophet said, 'People will be struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to regain consciousness, and behold! There I will see Moses holding one of the pillars of Allah's Throne. I will wonder whether he has become conscious before me of he has been exempted, because of his unconsciousness at the Tur (mountain) which he received (on the earth)." [Sahih Bukhari (4/153) No. 3398]

Say (O Muhammad SAW) : "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." (Al-Kahf 18:110)

-you memorise the Quran but say contrary to it
-surah 18:110 says Muhammad is not Noor
-but you say Muhammad is alive in the grave
-if you are a hafidh you should know the verse in the Quran that says Muhammad is dead

Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). (Aali Imran 3:185)

-the other evidence in the Quran for this:

Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die. (Az-Zumar 39:30)

-if you are a hafidh how come you contradict the Quran?

Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection a group of companions will come to me, but will be driven away from the Lake-Fount, and I will say, 'O Lord (those are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You have no knowledge as to what they innovated after you left; they turned apostate as renegades (reverted from Islam)." [Sahih Bukhari (8/120) No. 6585]

Ibn 'Abbas said, "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) stood up among us to admonish us and said, 'O people! You will be gathered to Allah Almighty barefoot, naked and uncircumcised. "As We originated the first creation, so We will regenerate it. It a promise binding on Us. That is what We will do." (21:103) The first of creatures to be clothed on the Day of Rising will be Ibrahim. Men of my community will come and will be taken to the left. I will say, "O Lord, my Companions!" and it will be said, "You do not know what innovations they introduced after you." I will say the same as the righteous slave ('Isa) said, "I was a witness against them as long as I remained among them" to "The Almighty, the All-Wise." (5:117-118)) I will be told, "They never stopped turning back on their heels from the time you left them.'" [al-Bukhari (3349) and Muslim (2860)]

-Muhammad (saw) is alive in the grave is the aqeeda of the Shiites and Berailvis
-if Muhammad knew what was going on
-how come the angels told him that he did not know
-what they did after he left them
-this is the hadith used to checkmate them

Aqeeda makes you a lion
-you are a hafidh and a Berailvis; yet you worship the graves
-Allah made takfir on the grave worshipper

Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allah only. And those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say) : "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allah." Verily, Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allah guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. (Az-Zumar 39:3)

You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). (Al-Fatihah 1:5)

Nu’man ibn Bashir (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said, “The supplication is itself worship.” Then he recited. And your Lord says, “Call upon Me, and I shall answer you. Surely those who are too arrogant to worship Me, they shall enter Hell, disgraced.” (40: 60) [Tirmidhi (5/456) No. 3372, Abu Dawud (2/76) No. 1479, Ibn Majah (5/5) No. 3828, Ahmad (4/271) No. 18410]

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

-there is no difference between the Buddhists and the Berailvis
-they are idol worshippers and they are kuffar
-salah behind them is baatil

...Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin…

-this statement of the prophet coincides with an ayah

And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; (Ash-Shams 91:7)

Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him; (Ash-Shams 91:8)
Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds). (Ash-Shams 91:9)

And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds). (Ash-Shams 91:10)

THE THREE TYPES OF SOUL:

1. The rebuking soul

2. The soul that is prone to evil

A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 75, Hadith #320]

3. The peaceful soul/The tranquil soul

(It will be said to the pious) : "O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! (Al-Fajr 89:27)

"Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him! (Al-Fajr 89:28)

"Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves, (Al-Fajr 89:29)

"And enter you My Paradise!" (Al-Fajr 89:30)

-the prophet said: all of us controlling and are responsible for our souls

-when you combine salah for this operation it is best to combine before
-after operation you can combine Maghrib and esha at esha time
-the prophet (saw) used to combine his prayers

'Abdullah b. Shaqiq reported: 'Ibn 'Abbas one day addressed us in the afternoon (after the afternoon prayer) till the sun disappeared and the stars appeared, and the people began to say: "Prayer, prayer." A person from Banu Tamim came there. He neither slackened nor turned away, but (continued crying): "Prayer, prayer." Ibn 'Abbas said: "May you be deprived of your mother, do you teach me Sunnah?" And then he said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (SAW) combining the noon and afternoon prayers and the sunset and 'Isha prayers."' 'Abdullah b. Shaqiq said: 'Some doubt was created in my mind about it. So I came to Abu Huraira and asked him (about it) and he testified his assertion.' [Sahih Muslim (1/491) No. 705]

-Allah wants ease and comfort not difficulty for the Muslims
-to say you cannot combine is placing difficulty on the believers
-when someone is extreme use surah taha

Ta¬Ha. (Ta-Ha 20:1)

We have not sent down the Qur'an unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, (Ta-Ha 20:2)
