On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Every joint of a person must perform a charity each day that the sun rises: to judge justly between two people is a charity. To help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity. And the good word is a charity. And every step that you take towards the prayer is a charity, and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity." It was related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

The rasul (saw) in this hadith explains that it is important to use our limbs to do good deeds
-this is because our limbs will testify on judgement day

This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabarī, Vol. 22, Page 24] (Ya-Sin 36:65)

-but no one has the right to ask how can our limbs speak
-you are seeking to limit the Power of Allah

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: "The fast and the Qur'an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their intercession will be accepted." [Musnad Ahmad (2/174) No. 6626, Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/740) No. 2036, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/378) No. 1839]

-the holy Quran will intercede for you on judgement day
-the same as Ramadan
-a sincere Muslim will not ask how this is possible
-when you read the hujjah you should just believe in it and leave it

On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their legs or feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do. (An-Nur 24:24)

-so ensure your limbs are used for halal and not haram things

And (remember) the Day that the enemies of Allāh will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last). (Fussilat 41:19)

Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do. (Fussilat 41:20)

And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allāh has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return." (Fussilat 41:21)

And you have not been hiding against yourselves, lest your ears, and your eyes, and your skins testify against you, but you thought that Allāh knew not much of what you were doing. (Fussilat 41:22)

And that thought of yours which you thought about your Lord, has brought you to destruction, and you have become (this Day) of those utterly lost! (Fussilat 41:23)

…"Every joint of a person must perform a charity each day that the sun rises:…

The rasul (saw) also spoke about the sun in the hadith
-the sun has a course that it runs
-it goes to the west to prostrate to Allah and will one day rise from the west
-after this day taubah will not be accepted

And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. (Ya-Sin 36:38)'

On the authority of Abu Dharr (RA): The Prophet (SAW) asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?” I replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: “It goes and prostrates beneath the Throne, and it asks for permission, and permission is given to it. But soon it will prostrate and it will not be accepted from it, and it will ask for permission and permission will not be given to it, and it will be said to it: ‘Go back from where you came.’ So it will rise from its place of setting, and that is what Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All‑Mighty, the All‑Knowing. (Ya-Sin 36:38)’ [Sahih Bukhari (4/108) No. 3199]

On the authority of Abu Huraira the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “The Hour will not begin until the sun rises from the West. When it rises from its place of setting, all people will believe, but on that day ‘no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before,’ [al-An’aam 6:158].” [al-Bukhari (4635) and Muslim (157)]

Abu Musa narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “Allah spreads out His hand at night to accept the repentance of those who committed sins during the day, and He spreads out His hand during the day to accept the repentance of those who committed sins during the night. (He will continue to do this) until the sun rises from the West.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2113) No. 2759]

And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayāt (Verses of the Qur'ān and Prophet Muhammad SAW). (An-Naml 27:82)

-some people take judgement day for a joke
-that is why they do all sort of sins

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, The dabbah (the beast) will come out and with it the ring of Sulayman and the staff of Musa with which it will scratch a line on the Believer’s face. And it will shine. The animal will place a seal on the disbeliever's face with the ring. The people will assemble at the dining mat and call out (to each other), “O you Believer”! “O you disbeliever”! [Tirmidhi 3198, Ahmed 7942, Ibn e Majah 4066]

The next thing he spoke about is justice

...to judge justly between two people is a charity...

-without this there will be no peace

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allāh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Well¬ Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma'idah 5:8)

-whenever a person is a racist it is impossible for him to be just

Allāh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allāh loves those who deal with equity. (Al-Mumtahinah 60:8)

Allah revealed this ayah because Asma (r.a) had a kaafir mother who came to visit her
-she refused to let her enter the house
-Allah (swt) didn’t like the way she treated her mother

Many Muslims refuse to pay back money borrowed from kuffaar
-claiming they are kuffaar
-these people are thieves
-if the kaafir is not antagonistic towards Islam you need to pay back the money
-the only one you can afford not to pay is the one who fights you
-however some ulama say that all kuffaar should be repaid
-because the rasul (saw) left Ali (r.a) behind when he was migrating
-to return all that was given to him for safe keeping

The worst injustice is shirk

Abu Huraira narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler; a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting for that and parting upon that a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position [for illegal intercourse], but be says: 'I fear Allah', a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.' [al-Bukhari (660) and Muslim (1031)]

-justice is the first thing mentioned in the hadith above
-if you hate a just ruler you are a munafiq
-no one is above the law in Islam

Al-Ash'ari said, "Part of respect for Allah is to show respect to an old Muslim and to someone who knows the Qur'an, as long as he does not go to excess in it nor turn away from it, and to respect a just ruler." [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, Hadith #357]

'A'isha reported that Quraysh were concerned with the case of a Makhzumi woman who had stolen something and they said, "Who will speak to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, about her?" They said, "Who is bold enough to do it except Usama ibn Zayd, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah?" Usama spoke to him and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "How can you intercede when it is a case of one of the legal punishments of Allah Almighty?" Then he stood up and spoke and said, "Those before you were destroyed because when a noble among them stole, they let him be, but when the weak among them stole, they carried out the legal punishment on them. By Allah, if Fatima the daughter of Muhammad were to steal, I would cut off her hand." [Agreed upon]

-you can't punish the weak and turn a blind eye to the rich and famous
-this is what happens in darul harb

Winona Ryder guilty of shoplifting: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/2406069.stm

-this is what destroyed the people before

Verily! Allāh commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allāh) gives you! Truly, Allāh is Ever All¬Hearer, All¬Seer. (An-Nisa 4:58)

-when you borrow the property of a Muslim you should return it
-some people borrow things to steal
-sometimes guests come to the house to steal
-you should know who you allow into your house

People find it difficult to speak the truth against their family or their own race
-the Arabs before Islam used to help support their brother
-whether or not he is an oppressor
-the rasul (saw) rephrased the statement and gave it an Islamic interpretation

Narrated By Anas: Allah's Apostle said, "Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or an oppressed," A man said, "O Allah's Apostle! I will help him if he is oppressed, but if he is an oppressor, how shall I help him?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing (others), for that is how to help him." [Sahih Bukhari (9/22) No. 6952]

-you need taqwa to be just
-people demonstrate against the sharia
-because in many Muslim countries judges take bribes
-hence the wrong people will be punished

Abdullah ibn Amri that the Prophet (SAW) cursed both the receiver and the giver of bribe. [Tirmidhi 1342, Abu Dawud 3580, Ibn e Majah 2313, Ahmed 7003]

Ibn Mas`ud was asked (by the people of Iraq), What is rashwa (taking bribes)? He replied, "This is suht (unlawful earning)." They said, "No, we meant in ruling." He then said, "This is the very kufr." Then he recited: "...And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun." (Al-Ma'idah 5:44) [Tafsir al-Tabari (10/321) No. 11960, Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/119)]

-some countries implement sharia only against women, the poor, foreigners and ethnic minority
-you need the right aqeeda to implement the sharia
-the caliph Ma'moon was a Mu’tazilite
-he implemented the sharia but used to beat up people
-who didn't accept that the Quran was created
-he even lashed Ahmad Ibn Hanbal

A Muslim Shaikh passed a fatwa in Chechnya
-allowing the Russians to come in and invade the land
-they made takfir on him and blew him up

Bin Baaz passed the same fatwa but they found a million excuses for him

SATANIC FATWA OF BIN BAAZ: http://millatibraheem.wordpress.com/2008/10/09/satanic-fatwa-of-bin-baz-and-some-remarks/

-these kuffaar soldiers do the worst crimes under the heavens against the Muslims

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyā' (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliyā' to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliyā', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allāh guides not those people who are the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers and unjust). (Al-Ma'idah 5:51)

-and Bin Baaz passed a fatwa to allow these to come into the holy land
-even Castro was disgust by their actions

Castro uses Abu Ghraib pictures to hit back at US : http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/world/archives/2004/12/19/2003215792

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin al-'As (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The just will be seated upon pulpits of light." Those who are fair with regards to their judgement and their family and those who are under them." [Sahih Muslim (3/1458) No. 1827]

Allah (swt) is jealous

And (remember) when Luqmān said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allāh. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allāh is a great Zûlm (wrong) indeed. (Luqman 31:13)

Al-Mughira b. Shu'ba (RA) reported that Sa'd b. 'Ubada (RA) said: If I were to see a man with my wife, I would have struck him with the sword, and not with the flat part (side) of it. When Allah's Messenger (PBUH) heard of that, he said: Are you surprised at Sa'd's jealousy of his honour? By Allah, I am more jealous of my honour than he, and Allah is more jealous than I. Because of His jealousy Allah has prohibited abomination, both open and secret And no person is more jealous of his honour than Allah, and no persons, is more fond of accepting an excuse than Allah, on account of which He has sent messengers, announcers of glad tidings and warners; and no one is more fond of praise than Allah on account of which Allah has promised Paradise. [Sahih Muslim, Book 9, Hadith #3572]

-you should single out Allah (swt) in your ibaadah

Allah requested of you something in the Holy Quran (6:152)

And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence, etc.), say the truth even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfill the Covenant of Allāh, This He commands you that you may remember. (Al-An'am 6:152)

-Allah asked you to speak the truth and be just even if against your blood brother

If you fear a breach between them twain (the man and his wife), appoint (two) arbitrators, one from his family and the other from her's; if they both wish for peace, Allāh will cause their reconciliation. Indeed Allāh is Ever All¬Knower, Well¬Acquainted with all things. (An-Nisa 4:35)

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H): “Whenever a person makes halal what is haraam by consensus or makes haraam what is halal by consensus or replaces the Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the scholars of Fiqh.” – “Al-Fataawa”, Vol. 3/267

It is fard to find out the right jamm’ah wherever you are and pray behind them

Aisha narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Those who give respect to a bid'ati (innovator in Religion) surely will be counted as a helper of destroying Islam." [al-Tabarani in 'al-Mu’jam al-Awsat' (7/35) No. 6772 and al-Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Emaan' (12/57) No. 9018]

And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes). (Al-Furqan 25:67)

Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said: Hence it was said that Allah supports just nations even if they are kaafirs, and He does not support unjust nations even if they are Muslims. The Prophet (SAW) said: “No sin brings a swifter punishment than injustice and severing the ties of kinship.” The unjust person will be punished in this world even if he is forgiven and granted mercy in the Hereafter. That is because justice is the foundation of all things. If a thing is based on justice it will endure, even if its founder has no share in the Hereafter. If it is not based on justice then it will not endure, even if its founder has faith for which he will be rewarded in the Hereafter. [Majmua al-Fataawa (28/146)]

-the Coptic empire, the Persian Empire, the British empire
-are all in the dustbin of history
-because they were all unjust
-the people in charge of Guantanamo bay
-are unjust and will soon see their end too In Shaa Allah

And every nation has its appointed term; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment). (Al-A'raf 7:34)

-if you put a woman, money or power in front a man who has no taqwa
-he'll use, misuse and abuse these
-Allah will always answer the dua of the oppressed

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger said, "Three prayers are surely answered: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveller, and the supplication of the father for his son." [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/502) No. 3448, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/30) No. 3862, Musnad Ahmad (2/258) No. 7501, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/89) No. 1536]

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: The Prophet sent Mu'adh to Yemen and said, "Fear the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." [al-Bukhari (1496) and Muslim (19)]

...“Oh, my servants! I have made oppression haraam (forbidden) upon myself, and also between you. So do not oppress each other...." [Sahih Muslim, Hadith #6246]

...To help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity. And the good word is a charity...

The rasul (saw) went on to say that helping a man with his mount is charity
-this is call small kindness
-never look down on a small act
-it may make the difference to tilt the scale in your favour

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? (Al-Ma'un 107:1)

That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), (Al-Ma'un 107:2)

And urges not the feeding of AlMiskīn (the poor), (Al-Ma'un 107:3)

So woe unto those performers of Salāt (prayers) (hypocrites), (Al-Ma'un 107:4)

Who delay their Salāt (prayer) from their stated fixed times, (Al-Ma'un 107:5)

Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), (Al-Ma'un 107:6)

And refuse Al-Mā'ûn (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). (Al-Ma'un 107:7)

Abu Dharr narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “Do not regard any good deed insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2026) No. 2626, Musnad Ahmad (5/173) No. 21559]

Narrated By Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 54, Hadith #538]

A good word is a charity
-the tongue has no bone but it can break hearts
-one good word of advice given to Abu Hanifa changed his life
-and he became the father of Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamm’ah

-A lead singer of a group was called fat
-and this had so much effect on her that she starved herself to death

If every good word is charity then think about every evil you utter

Narrated By Sahl bin Sa'd: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him." [Sahih Bukhari (8/100) No. 6474]

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet (SAW), said, "Avoid the seven fatal sins." They said, "Messenger of Allah, what are they?" He said, "Associating with Allah, sorcery, killing a soul which Allah has forbidden, except by legal right, consuming usury, consuming the property of an orphan, fleeing on the day of battle and slandering unthinking chaste believing women." [al-Bukhari (2766) and Muslim (89)]

-call your kids good names because Allah will call them by their names
-their names also affect their character

Narrated By Abu Darda': The Prophet (SAW) said: "On the Day of Resurrection you will be called by your names and by your father's names, so give yourselves good names." [Sunan Abu Dawood (4/287) No. 4948, Sunan al-Darime (2/380) No. 2694, Musnad Ahmad (5/194) No. 21739]

-the bad consequence of the tongue is what causes many to enter hellfire
-women are dangerous because of their tongue

"The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer and its peak is jihad." Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not tell you of the foundation of all of that?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." So he took hold of his tongue and said, "Restrain this." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, will we be taken to account for what we say with it?" He (SAW) said, "May your mother be bereaved of you, O Muadh! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces — or: on their noses — except the harvests of their tongues?" [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/11) No. 2616, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/116) No. 3973, Musnad Ahmad (5/231) No. 22069]

Usama Ibn Zayd (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “I have not left behind me any fitnah (temptation) more harmful to men than women.” [Reported by al-Bukhaari (5096) and Muslim (2740)]

…And every step that you take towards the prayer is a charity, and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity." It was related by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Every step you take to salah is a charity because you set a good example for your family

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Beware! Avoid sitting on he roads (ways)." The people said, "There is no way out of it as these are our sitting places where we have talks." The Prophet said, "If you must sit there, then observe the rights of the way." They asked, "What are the rights of the way?" He said, "They are the lowering of your gazes (on seeing what is illegal to look at), refraining from harming people, returning greetings, advocating good and forbidding evil." [al-Bukhari (2465) and Muslim (2121)]

-to remove a harmful thing from the road is charity
-this proves that your actions are part of your emaan

The Messenger of Allah said: “Anybody who believes in Allah and the last day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the last day should entertain his guest generously and anybody who believes in Allah and the last day should say what is good or keep quite”. (Sahih Bukhari (Arabic/English) Vol.8 pg.29 No.47)

On the authority of 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said: "A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands the Muslims are safe; and a Muhajir (Emigrant) is the one who refrains from what Allah has forbidden." [al-Bukhari (10) and Muslim (40)]

Assalamu alaikum, there was once a situation where a sister cried upon the news of a sincere scholar being imprisoned; however another hard-hearted sister (from hizb-ut-tahrir) condescendingly criticized her for doing so. Upon hearing such news (of sincere scholars being imprisoned), is it permissible to shed a tear out of natural human sadness? If so, kindly provide hujjah if possible. Jzk.

-you are allowed to shed tears for a jailed sincere scholar
-they are hard hearted because they make a mockery of Quran and Sunnah
-they run away from jihad
-they say there is a covenant of security
-these people have been refuted before

...Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune." [Musnad Ahmad (5/196) No. 21763; Also related by Abu Dawud (2/341) No. 3641; at-Tirmidhi (5/48) No. 2682; Ibn Majah (1/150) No. 223, ad-Daarimee (1/110) No. 342 and ibn Hibbaan (1/289) No. 88]

...Verily the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets. Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. 88]

Narrated by An-Nu'man bin Bashir: The Prophet (SAW) said: “The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of one body; when one part of it suffers, the rest of the body joins it in staying awake and suffering fever.” [al-Bukhaari (6011) and Muslim (2586)]

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, how do we know who is antagonistic towards Islam?

-it is easy to know
-when they speak, they expose what is in their hearts

...but surely, you will know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all your deeds. (Muhammad 47:30)

Assalamu alaikum sheikh, if you took money from a kafir and make taubah, do you have to pay it back as soon as you have it?

-if the kaffir is not antagonistic towards Islam you have to pay it back
-if it is a bank, you do not have to pay it back
-an individual you have to pay back
-you will be ripping him off if you don’t pay

When trying to correct people like Berailvis and giving them clear cut evidence, their responses are you are Wahhabi, how can we overcome this type of retort?

-there is nothing you can do
-your job is to give the message and leave the rest to Allah

"And our duty is only to convey plainly (the Message)." (Ya-Sin 36:17)

-a Berailvis is a 5 star kaffir
-prayer behind them is bautil
-they worship the graves

Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allāh only. And those who take Auliyā' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allāh." Verily, Allāh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allāh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. (Az-Zumar 39:3)

-Allah says they are liars and kaffirs
-it is not your job to change them. Allah is the one who makes Muslims
-the prophet could not make his uncle a Muslim

Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allāh guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)

Shaikh, An Imam said that voting is not haram and gave the Hujjah from Prophet Yusuf, when he was in prison he became Chief Minister for the king and was part of his Taghoot system , so how should we answer this statement? Please elaborate

-democracy is the greatest shirk
-this imam has made up his own religion
-this *shaikh* has slandered prophet Yusuf (a.s)

When prophet Yusuf was in Egypt he did not go against the sharia of Abraham
-when the bowl was found in the bag of Benjamin
-Yusuf said that we follow the Shari’ah of Abraham
-he applied the sharia of Abraham
-prophet Yusuf did not join the sharia of Egypt
-he had a job working for the kuffar
-Ali used to work for a Jew
-by controlling the warehouse, this did not mean Yusuf was following the sharia of Egypt

-the ones who say this about prophet Yusuf are heretics and slanderers
