On the authority of Muadh bin Jabal (RA) who said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of an act which will take me into Paradise and will keep me away from the Hellfire." He (SAW) said, "You have asked me about a great matter, yet it is easy for him for whom Allah makes it easy: worship Allah, without associating any partners with Him; establish the prayer; pay the zakat ; fast in Ramadhan; and make the pilgrimage to the House." Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not guide you towards the means of goodness? Fasting is a shield; charity wipes away sin as water extinguishes fire; and the praying of a man in the depths of the night." Then he (SAW) recited: "[Those] who forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (charity in Allah’s cause) out of what We have bestowed on them. No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do." [as-Sajdah, 16-17] Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not inform you of the head of the matter, its pillar and its peak?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He (SAW) said, "The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer and its peak is jihad." Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not tell you of the foundation of all of that?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." So he took hold of his tongue and said, "Restrain this." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, will we be taken to account for what we say with it?" He (SAW) said, "May your mother be bereaved of you, O Muadh! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces — or: on their noses — except the harvests of their tongues?" [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/11) No. 2616, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/116) No. 3973, Musnad Ahmad (5/231) No. 22069]

He was a native of Madina, so he was from the Ansar
-he was 20 years old when the rasul (saw) migrated
-he was known for his taqwa, his bravery and his recitation of the Quran
-he was one of the best reciters of the Quran among the best four

Narrated By Masruq: 'Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) was mentioned before 'Abdullah bin 'Amr. The latter said, "That is a man I continue to love because I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying, 'Learn the recitation of the Qur'an from (any of these) four persons: 'Abdullah bin Masud, Salim the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa, Ubai bin Kab, and Muadh bin Jabal." I do not remember whether he mentioned Ubai first or Muadh. [Sahih Bukhari (5/27) No. 3758]

-he was the most learned among the sahabah with regards to halal and haram
-he was known as the sahabah with the afro
-he had white teeth and bright eyes

When he was sent to Yemen
-the rasul (saw) told him to teach the people of the book tauheed first
-not halal and haram

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: When the Prophet sent Muadh to Yemen, he said to him, "You are going to a nation from the people of the Scripture, so let the first thing to which you will invite them, be the Tauhid of Allah. If they learn that, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them, five prayers to be offered in one day and one night. And if they pray, tell them that Allah has enjoined on them Zakat of their properties and it is to be taken from the rich among them and given to the poor. And if they agree to that, then take from them Zakat but avoid the best property of the people." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93, Hadith #469]

-the rasul (saw) told him that he will only find his masjid
-and his grave when he returns from Yemen
-he cried like a baby because he knew this was the last time he is seeing the rasul (saw)
-the rasul told him that he loved him
-for someone to say to you 'Wallahi I love you' is a wonderful thing
-but means a lot more when it comes from the rasul (saw)
-upon that he made a dua

Mu'adh reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took him by the hand and said, "O Mu'adh! By Allah, I love you.and I advise you not to fail to say after every prayer, 'O Allah, help me to remember You and thank You and worship You well." [Abu Dawud and an-Nasa'i]

-he was sent to Palestine to teach by Umar (r.a)
-a plague broke out there and he died with his two wives
-he died 18 years after the hijra at the age of 38

...I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of an act which will take me into Paradise and will keep me away from the Hellfire."...

If you are asked, ‘where is paradise?’ Say it is above
-Hellfire is underneath
-if you are asked what will happen to this world
-say it will be destroyed

When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). (At-Takwir 81:1)

And when the stars shall fall; (At-Takwir 81:2)

And when the mountains shall made to pass away; (At-Takwir 81:3)

And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; (At-Takwir 81:4)

And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; (At-Takwir 81:5)

And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; (At-Takwir 81:6)

And when the souls shall be joined with their bodies; (At-Takwir 81:7)

And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. (At-Takwir 81:8)

For what sin she was killed? (At-Takwir 81:9)

-So the world we see will be destroyed
-the stars will be flung into the sea
-these oceans will be on fire
-people are crazy about these mountains and climb them
-these mountains will pass away

Al-Qāri'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), (Al-Qari'ah 101:1)

What is the striking (Hour)? (Al-Qari'ah 101:2)

And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? (Al-Qari'ah 101:3)

It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, (Al-Qari'ah 101:4)

And the mountains will be like carded wool, (Al-Qari'ah 101:5)

Muadh asked about Paradise and hell fire
-these two had an argument about their inhabitants

On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Paradise and Hell-fire disputed together, and Hell-fire said: 'In me are the mighty and the haughty.' Paradise said: 'In me are the weak and the poor.' So Allah judged between them, [saying]: 'You are Paradise, My mercy; through you I show mercy to those I wish. And you are Hell-fire, My punishment; through you I punish those I wish, and it is incumbent upon Me that each of you shall have its fill.'" [Muslim (2846) also by al-Bukhari (4850) and at-Tirmidhi (2561)]

-whenever you enter paradise you will abide in there forever

Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allāh Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. (Al-Baiyinah 98:8)

-but when you enter heaven, you may be thrown out as in the case of Adam (a.s)
-the shaytan can't enter paradise but he entered heaven

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Allah said: 'I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heart.'" Thus recite if you wish (1): "And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Qur'an Chapter 32 Verse 17)." (1) The words "Thus recite if you wish" are those of Abu Hurayrah. [Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah]

The reason why he asked the question was because of his taqwa
-he asked about an act that will take him to Paradise and save him from hell
-this is an important matter

...He (SAW) said, "You have asked me about a great matter, yet it is easy for him for whom Allah makes it easy: worship Allah, without associating any partners with Him;...

This is the first thing he mentioned

Muadh Ibn Jabal (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "He whose last words (in life) were 'La ilaha-ill Allah' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah) shall enter Paradise” [Sunan Abu Dawud (2/207) No. 3116, Musnad al-Bazzar (7/77) No. 2626, Tabarani in ‘al-Mu’jam al-Kabir’ (20/112) No. 221, Mustadrak al-Hakim (1/503) No. 1299]

-tauheed is the most important thing

Say: "O 'Ibādī (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allāh, verily Allāh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Az-Zumar 39:53)

-anyone who dies committing shirk will never enter paradise
-but if repent before that you'll be forgiven

Verily, Allāh forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allāh in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin. (An-Nisa 4:48)

-the murji gives excuse to anyone who worships false deity
-this is not our creed and this creed is wrong
-this contradicts the Quran (7:172)

And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." (Al-A'raf 7:172)

-those who give the excuse of ignorance do it base it on the Aql (intellect)

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” [Sahih Muslim (Vol. 1, pg. 191) No. 203]

Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Without doubt Tawhid is the essence of Iman. This is the alamati fariqa which distinguish Ahl of Jannah from Ahl of Jahannam. Moreover this is the fee of Jannah. No ones Islam can be Sahih without it.” [Majmua al-Fatawa (24/235)]

-the rasul's father died before he was sent as a rasul
-yet he is in the hellfire
-there is no excuses of ignorance with regards major shirk
-these are people who make up their own religion (hislam)

It was narrated that Abu Huraira (RA) said: 'When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) offered the funeral prayer he would say:
Allahumma man ahyaitahu minna faahyihi 'alal-islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa tawaffahu 'alal-eemaan. Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la tudillana ba'dah" (“O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die (in a state of) faith. O Allah do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him)”. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Vol. 2, pg. 467) No. 1498 and Musnad Ahmad (Vol. 2, pg. 368) No. 8795]

Abu Yusuf narrated from Imam Abu Hanifah: “Abu Hanifah stated: No servant (abd) has an excuse regarding knowledge of his Rabb due to ignorance. All creatures must know their Rabb and make Tawhid. The reason for this is that they see the created sky, the creation of themselves and all things Allah created. When it comes to the Fardh; regarding those who do not know them and related news had not reached them, means that evidence had not been stable as Hukm (i.e., an Ayah had not been revealed yet, or a Hadith had not been stated yet etc.).” [Badai’u's-Sanai, (7/132)]

-the Christians were not given the excuse of ignorance
-there are evidences of Allah (swt) everywhere
-so no one can plead ignorant

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allāh is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allāh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allāh, then Allāh has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers) there are no helpers. (Al-Ma'idah 5:72)

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allāh is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilāh (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilāh (God -Allāh). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. (Al-Ma'idah 5:73)

Some Kuffaar were caught up in the sea and they called upon Allah and not their idols
-because they knew they could do nothing
-this is evidence that a kaafir believes in Allah

And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allāh, making their Faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others. (Al-'Ankabut 29:65)

-every atheist believes in Allah when in the plane

The kuffaar of Makkah when signing the treaty of Hudaibiyya
-said to the rasul (saw) that they only knew about ONE GOD which is ALLAH (swt)
-they insisted that they wanted to see ONE GOD
-Abraham (a.s) taught them about only One GOD

"...Suhail said to the Prophet "Please conclude a peace treaty with us." So, the Prophet called the clerk and said to him, "Write: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 'Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem' (In the Name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful)." Suhail said, "As for الرَّحْمَنِ 'ar-Rahman (Beneficent), by Allah, I do not know what it means. So write: بِاسْمِكَ اللهُمَّ 'Bismika Allahumma' (By Your Name O Allah)..." [al-Bukhari (2731) and Muslim (1784)]

So why did they worship idols?

So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islāmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allāh Alone) Allāh's Fitrah (i.e. Allāh's Islāmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq¬illāh (i.e. the Religion of Allāh Islāmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir At¬Tabarī, Vol 21, Page 41] (Ar-Rum 30:30)

-this coincides with what the rasul (saw) told Muadh
-don't be Goofy soofi, Berailvis (worshipping grave)
-or a Mad Madkhali (worshipping their scholars)

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allāh (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allāh), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurāt (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilāh (God - Allāh) Lā ilāha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)[]. Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)." (At-Tawbah 9:31)

...establish the prayer;...

On the authority of Anas the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Of the things of this world, women and perfume have been made dear to me, and my comfort is in prayer” [Sunan al-Nasa'i (7/61) No. 3939, Musnad Ahmad (3/285) No. 14069, Musnad Abu Ya'la (6/237) No. 3530, al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (5/241) No. 5203]

The first thing Allah (swt) will ask you on Judgement Day is the salah

“The first thing the people will be accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer, Allah will say to His angels (even though he already knows) : “Look at my servants prayers. Were they complete or not?” If they were complete It will be written as complete. If they were not fully complete Allah will say: “See if my servant has voluntary prayers, If he has them Allah will say: Complete his obligatory prayers shortage with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.” [Reported by Imams Ahmad, Abu Dawood, An-Nisa'i, and Al-Hakim]

Jabir (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Between a man (Muslim) and shirk and disbelief lies neglect of salah.” [Sahih Muslim (1/88) No. 82, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/13) No. 2620, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/219) No. 4678, Sunan Ibn Majah (2/181) No. 1078, Sunan An-Nasa'i (1/232) No. 463, Musnad Ahmad (3/370) No. 15021]

It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays twelve rakahs during the night and day, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zuhr and two after, two rak’ahs after Maghrib, two rakahs after isha and two rakahs before Fajr prayer.” (al-Tirmidhi, no. 380; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6362)

Narrated from Umm Habeebah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays four (rakahs) before Zuhr and four after it, the Fire will not touch him.” (Al-Nasaa’i (1817) and al-Tirmidhi (428); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i)

Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever attends the funeral until the prayer has been offered will have one qiraat (of reward) and whoever attends until the deceased has been buried will have two qiraats.” It was said, “What are the two qiraats?” He said: “Like two great mountains.” (al-Bukhaari, 1325; Muslim, 945)

Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever prays Fajr is under the protection of Allah, so do not fall short with regard to the rights of Allah, for anyone who does that, Allah will seize him and will throw him on his face into the Fire of Hell.” (Muslim (657))

Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: “Whoever prays isha in congregation, it is as if he spent half the night in prayer, and whoever prays fajr in congregation, it is as if he spent the whole night in prayer.” (Muslim, 656)

Narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The angels send blessings upon one of you so long as he is in his prayer-place where he offered his prayer, so long as he does not break his wudu; they say: ‘O Allah forgive him, O Allah have mercy on him.’” (Al-Bukhaari (445) and Muslim (649))

Abu Zar (RA) narrates that once the Prophet (SAW) came out of his house. It was autumn and the leaves were falling off the trees. He caught a branch of a tree and its leaves began to drop in large number. At this he remarked, 'O, Abu Zar! when a Muslim offers his salat to please Allah, his sins are shed away from him just as these leaves are falling off this tree. (Ahmad)

Abu Huraira RadiyAllahu `anhu narrates that once the Prophet Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam asked his companions, 'Do you think that dirt can remain on a person bathing 5 times a day in a brook running in front of his door?' 'No', replied the compan¬ions, 'No dirt can remain on his body.' The Prophet Sallallahu `alaihi wasallam remarked: 'So, exactly similar is the effect of salat offered 5 times a day. With the Grace of Allah, it washes away all the sins'.(Bukhari, Muslim)

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The person who joins the Jamaat for prayer at the start i.e. first Takbeer, for forty days at a stretch is secured from the torments of Jahannum as well as from the evil of discord.” [Tirmidhi]

"Whoever prays to Allah for forty-days in congregation, reaching the opening Takbeer will have immunity from two things: freedom from the Fire and freedom from hypocrisy." (Hasan by Tirmidhi, declared Hasan by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Jaami' (6365).)

If you are busy at work you are allowed to join your prayers
-you are allowed to delay dhuhr and pray it with asr
-you are allowed to shorten your salah even if it takes 30 minutes to travel to work
-you are allowed to postpone Maghrib and join with Isha
-if you are tired you can bring forward isha and pray with Maghrib
-Allah (swt) doesn't place a burden on us

We have not sent down the Qur'ān unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, (Ta-Ha 20:2)

Allāh intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you.(Al-Baqarah 2:185) the zakat;...

The Arabic word zakah means Yanmoo (to grow)
-it also means to purify
-so you purify your wealth and heart from greed, insincerity and hypocrisy

It is the third pillar of Islam
-so if you pay your zakah you uphold Islam
-it is the most effective way to take care of the orphans, the widows, and the mujahideen
-the poor, the destitute

After the death of the rasul (saw)
-zakah was the first pillar people refused to uphold

Abu Hurayra said, "When the Messenger of Allah (SAW), died and Abu Bakr was khalifa and those of the Arabs who were going to reject rejected, 'Umar said, 'How can we fight people when the Messenger of Allah said, "I am commanded to fight people until they say, 'There is no god but Allah.' Whoever says that, his property and life are protected from me, except when there is a legal right to them, and his reckoning is up to Allah."?' Abu Bakr said, 'By Allah, I will fight anyone who makes a distinction between prayer and zakat! Zakat is the right which is due on wealth. By Allah, if they refuse me a nose- rope which they used to pay to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I will fight them for refusing it!' 'Umar said, 'By Allah, then I realised that Allah had expanded Abu Bakr's breast in respect of the decision to fight and I recognised that it was the truth." [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

-Abu Bakr (r.a) fought them until they paid the zakah
-they were reciting the shahada but were kaafirs
-because they rejected the third pillar of Islam
-it was a war against the apostate
-because their women were taken as concubines

Abu Jahl refused to embrace Islam because of zakah
-because he felt Islam was dodgy
-and that he can't feed poor people with his money
-he used qadr to hang on to stinginess

And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allāh has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allāh willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error." (Ya-Sin 36:47)

-Zakah is to give away 2.5% of your yearly savings
-the nisab is $1,000

And those who hoard up gold and silver [Al-Kanz: the money, the Zakāt of which has not been paid], and spend it not in the Way of Allāh, -announce unto them a painful torment. (At-Tawbah 9:34)

-the tafseer of this ayah is that black snakes will be biting those
-who refuse to pay their zakah on judgment day

"Whoever is made wealthy by Allah and does not pay the Zakat of his wealth, then on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be made like a bald-headed poisonous male snake with two black spots over the eyes. The snake will encircle his neck and bite his cheeks and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.' Bukhari Volume 2, Book 24, Number 486.

-paying zakah means you are a progressive Muslim
-because you are the hand that gives

Narrated By Ibn 'Umar: I heard Allah's Apostle (SAW) while he was on the pulpit speaking about charity, to abstain from asking others for some financial help and about begging others, saying, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is that of the giver and the lower (hand) is that of the beggar." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 24, Hadith #509]

-because it eradicates the hatred and envy in the heart of the receiver

-poverty is the number one reason why women go into prostitution
-when there is no zakah in a country, there will be prostitution

-because when you are merciful to others
-Allah shows mercy to you and gives you the paradise

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “There was a person who used to loan money to the people and he used to say to his servant: 'When an insolvent person comes to you, show him leniency so that Allah may forbear our faults.' So when he met Allah (i.e., when he died), Allah forgave him.” [al-Bukhari (3480) and Muslim (1562)]

…fast in Ramadan…

Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The five daily prayers, Friday prayer to the following Friday prayer, and Ramadan to the following Ramadan are expiations for sins as long as one abstains from major sins." [Sahih Muslim (1/209) No. 233 and Musnad Ahmad (2/400) No. 9186]

Abu Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven." [al-Bukhari (37) and Muslim (759)]

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2). (Al-Baqarah 2:183)

-the difference between a Muslim and a kaafir is that
-a Muslim is able to control his desires
-fasting helps you do that
-you have an angelic and animal part in you
-you train yourself to bring out the angelic part of you
-fasting makes this attainable

When you are fasting all your body parts are fasting
-therefore you will not be among those only having hunger and thirst

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “There may be a fasting person who gets nothing more from his fast than hunger and thirst, and there may be a person who prays qiyaam and all he gets from his qiyaam is a sleepless night.” [Musnad Ahmad (2/373) No. 8843, Sunan Ibn Majah (2/591) No. 1690, Sunan al-Darime (2/390) No. 2720, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah (3/242) No. 1997]

-because all Muslims fast in the same month

Fasting is a shield; [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/11) No. 2616, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/116) No. 3973, Musnad Ahmad (5/231) No. 22069]

-Buddhist, Hindus, Siks don't fast in Ramadan

-when you fast your stomach shrinks
-so you fight obesity

On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Take part in battles, and you will receive booty. Fast, and you will be healthy. Travel and you will find your sustenance.” [al-Mu’jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (8/174) No. 8312]

On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Fast and you will be healthy". [Related by Abu Naeem in 'al-Tibbun al-Nabawee' (1/236) No. 113]

Ibn Umar (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “The believer eats in one intestine, while the disbeliever eats in seven intestines.’ [al-Bukhari (5393) and Muslim (2061)]

-the kuffaar eat like the cattle and doesn't know when to stop
-they have no regards with regards to halal and haram
-a man weights one ton just like a cow

..while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their abode. (Muhammad 47:12)

-You didn't hide and eat and drink during Ramadan
-but waited till Maghrib
-Because you know Allah is All-seeing and All-knowing
-He is everywhere with His knowledge

-When you fast the whole day and then break it
-you feel you accomplished something

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright. (Al-Baqarah 2:186)

Fasting is like a shield, and he who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. The change in the breath of the mouth of him who fasts is better in Allah's estimation than the smell of musk." [Bukhari (also by Muslim, Malik, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah).]

The one who fasts, experiences two joys: he feels pleasure when he breaks the fast. He is joyful by virtue of his fast when he meets his Rubb." [al-Bukhari (1904) and Muslim (1151)]

-there is a gate in paradise that only those who fast will enter through it

Sahl ibn Sa'd reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "There is a gate in the Garden called ar-Rayyan which those who fast will enter on the Day of Rising, and none but they will enter it." It will be said, 'Where are the fasters?' They will stand up and none but they will enter it. When they have entered it, it will be closed and no one else will enter it." [al-Bukhari (1896) and Muslim (1152)]

-Allah rewards the fasting person as He pleases

…and make the pilgrimage to the House…

Hajj is a duty we owe to Allah

And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allāh, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allāh], then Allāh stands not in need of any of the 'Alamīn (mankind and jinns). (Aali Imran 3:97)

-When you call out to Allah (saying La Baik)
-you save up your money to make hajj
-and you answer the call of Allah

This is the same thing the Mujahideen say when they go the battlefield

-Aisha (r.a) attended the battle of Uhud

I saw `Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr and Um Sulaim both lifting their dresses up so that I was able to see the ornaments of their legs, and they were carrying the water skins of their arms to pour the water into the mouths of the thirsty people and then go back and fill them and come to pour the water into the mouths of the people again. (On that day) Abu Talha's sword fell from his hand twice or thrice. [Sahih Bukhari (5/37) No. 3811]

-she was pouring water in the mouth of the Mujahideen
-when can we have Muslim women like this?!
-Aisha used to be in the battlefield helping the mujahideen
-but she wanted to participate in the actual fighting
-a woman can be allowed to fight if she can benefit the mujahideen

Narrated `Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) I said, "O Messenger of Allah! We consider Jihad as the best deed." The Prophet said, "The best Jihad (for women) is Hajj Mabrur." [Sahih Bukhari (2/133) No. 1520]

-jihad is so sophisticated she can easily be responsible for triggering the IED
-what the rasul (saw) meant is that you can't impose it on her

-this is because Allah sent the rasul (saw) as a mercy for mankind
-he was sent to the whole world

And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Anbiya 21:107)

-this is why you see all races at the hajj
-Malcolm X got the right aqeeda when he went for hajj
-Elijah Pole deceived him before that
-in Islam we don't condemn skins but we condemn sins

You can't single out one race and label them as the devil
-what about the Hindu, the black kaafir and the Chinese?
-for you to go to hajj as a racist and return as one
-this means that you didn't benefit from your hajj
-there are no isms and schism in Islam

-we do the rituals in unity
-no one does his own thing the way he wants

It was narrated that Abdur-Rahman bin Yamur said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah when people came to him and asked him about Hajj. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Hajj is Arafat. Whoever catches up with the night of Arafat before dawn comes on the night of Jam (Al-Muzdalifah), his Hajj is complete.' [Sunan al-Nasa'i (5/256) No. 3016, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/228) No. 889, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/218) No. 3015]

-Kuffaar can't enter Makkah or Madina
-you are allowed to kill them if you catch them in Makkah or Madina

Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islāmic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikûn (see V.2:105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salāt (Iqāmat-as-Salāt), and give Zakāt, then leave their way free. Verily, Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (At-Tawbah 9:5)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: “From one ‘umrah to another is an expiation for whatever (sins) come between them, and an accepted Hajj brings no less a reward than Paradise.” [Narrated by al-Bukhari (1773) and Muslim (1349)]

Ali (RA) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: “He who possess enough food for the trip, a means of transportation to reach to Makkah, and yet does not perform Hajj, then he dies, he would then die as a Jew or a Christian...” [Sunan Tirmidhi (3/176) No. 812, Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (5/443) No. 3692, Musnad al-Bazzaar (3/87-88) No. 861]

-the hadith above is weak
-but it can be used to inspire people to do good

-You dress and live like a pauper even though you are a millionaire
-the sky is your canopy and the two pieces of cloth is your cloth

-when you die you are buried in the same two clothes you wear for hajj

-the way you gather at Arafat is the way you gather on DOJ

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (At-Tur 52:21)

-this is when you return from hajj and re –unite with your family

…Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not guide you towards the means of goodness? Fasting is a shield; charity wipes away sin as water extinguishes fire; and the praying of a man in the depths of the night." Then he (SAW) recited: "[Those] who forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (charity in Allah’s cause) out of what We have bestowed on them. No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do." [as-Sajdah, 16-17]…

-Fasting which is a shield
-Charity extinguishes the sins the way the water does to fire

Their sides forsake their beds, to invoke their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend (charity in Allāh's Cause) out of what We have bestowed on them. (As-Sajdah 32:16)

No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do. (As-Sajdah 32:17)

"The closest Allah Ta'ala gets to his servant is in the last portion of the night. If you possess the ability to be from among those who remember Allah, then become one of them." [Tirmidhi]

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Our Lord (glorified and exalted be He) descends each night to the earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He says: 'Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it him? Who is asking forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?'" [al-Bukhari (7494) (also by Muslim (758), Malik (619), at-Tirmidhi (3498) and Abu Dawud (1315)]

-the last part of the night is approximately an hour before fajr
-do not think of Allah as you do with man
-don't ask how He descends at night
-when it is night is China then it is day in USA
-accept the hadith at face value

Sleeping is not a condition for the tahajjud to be accepted
-you need not go to bed and then wake up for tahajjud
-this is not a condition for your tahajjud to be accepted
-however, it has more barakah

“Perform Tahajjud Salāh; for indeed it was the practice of those before you, and it is a means of gaining nearness to your Lord, and it is atonement for bad deeds and it prevents sins.” (Tirmidhi)

“The most noble of my Ummah are the Huffādh and those who perform Tahajjud.” (Bayĥaqi)

-tahajjud is performed in twos (two by two)

Ibn Umar narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said, “The prayer during day and night are to be offered two by two.” [Musnad Ahmad (2/26) No. 4791, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/29) No. 1295, Sunan al-Nasa'i (3/227) No. 1666, Sunan Tirmidhi (2/491) No. 597, Sunan Ibn Majah (2/349) No. 1322, Sunan al-Darime (1/404) No. 1458]

‘Uqbah ibn Hurayth said: I said to Ibn ‘Umar: “What does two by two mean?” He said: “Saying the tasleem after each two rak’ahs.” [Sahih Muslim (1/519) No. 749]

-there is no such a thing called four-rak’ah Sunnah

Abdullah ibn Salaam (RA) narrated: When the Prophet came to Madina with his migration; people rushed to him and exclaimed, “Allah’s Messenger (SAW) has come!’ I also went to see him with the people. When my eyes fell on him, I could not help say. “This cannot be the face of a liar.” At this juncture, he said for the first time, “O People! Spread salaam. Feed people. When people are asleep in the night, offer salah and enter Paradise in peace.” [Tirmidhi 2493, Ibn e Majah 1334, 3251]

…Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not inform you of the head of the matter, its pillar and its peak?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He (SAW) said, "The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer and its peak is jihad…

The rasul (saw) meant that in life as you live your life,
-Islam should be the most important thing in your life
-and not for dunya alone or just to indulge in the pleasures of the flesh
-It also means that the only deen Allah will accept is Islam

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, my Salāt (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allāh, the Lord of the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-An'am 6:162)

Truly, the religion with Allāh is Islām. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allāh, then surely, Allāh is Swift in calling to account. (Aali Imran 3:19)

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Aali Imran 3:85)

Islam means total submission to the will of Allah with tauheed
-and to submit to Allah with obedience
-and to renounce shirk and the people of shirk
-those who say Islam means 'peace' are the modernist

He (saw) also stated that only Islam is the religion in the sight of Allah
-every kaafir worships a false deity
-this is why Islam is the peak of the matter
-and the pillar is the salah meaning this makes a difference between the Muslims and kaafir
-there are five pillars holding the salah (fajr, dhuhr, asr, Maghrib and isha)
-so if you uphold salah you uphold Islam

…and its peak is jihad…

Definition: To wage war against the kuffaar for the spread of La Ilaha Illallah
-so the war between Ali (r.a) and Mu’awiya was not jihad but fitna
-those fighting for democracy are committing suicide
-but fighting against Berailvis is considered jihad because they are kuffaar

Narrated By Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah's Cause?" The Prophet said, "He who fights that Allah's Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause." [al-Bukhari (123) and Muslim (1904)]

You can't force a kaafir to go and fight
-he pays jizya and hence can't be force to go to the battlefield

The rasul (saw) sent back Ibn Umar (r.a) at the battle of Badr and Uhud
-these sahabah used to tip toe to look tall when the rasul called for jihad
-because they wanted to be allowed to join the rasul and kill the kuffaar

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: I was presented before Allah’s Messenger (SAW) for the army when I was fourteen years old. But, he did not enlist me. Then, the next year I was presented to him for the army being fifteen years and he took me. Nafi’ said: I narrated this hadith to Umar ibn Abdul Aziz and he said, “The limit between a minor and a major (is this).” Then he wrote (to his officers) that those who attain the age of fifteen may be given share in spoils of war. [al-Bukhari (2664) and Muslim (1868)]

You are not allowed to take a mad man to the front line

You are a headless chicken without an ameer
-you are allowed to wage jihad without a caliph but not without an ameer

And obey Allāh and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allāh is with those who are As-Sābirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Al-Anfal 8:46)

Abu Hurayra said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, 'The first of people to be judged on the Day of Rising will be a man who was martyred. He will be brought and will be informed of the blessings he had and will acknowledge them. Allah will say, "What did you do with them?" He will say, "I fought for You until I was martyred." Allah will say, "You lie. Rather you fought so it would be said, 'A bold man!' And so it was said." Then the command will be given and he will be dragged on his face until he is thrown into the Fire. There will also be a man who studied knowledge and taught it and recited the Qur'an. He will be brought and informed of his blessings which he will acknowledge. Allah will say, "What did you do with them?" He will say, "I studied knowledge and taught it and I recited the Qur'an for You." He will say, "You lie. Rather you studied so that it would be said, 'A scholar!' and you recited so that it would be said, 'He is a reciter!' And so it was said." Then the command will be given and he will be dragged on his face until he is thrown into the Fire. There will also be a man to whom Allah gave a lot of wealth and all sorts of property. He will be brought and informed of his blessings which he will acknowledge. Allah will say, "What did you do with them?" He will say, "There was no path in which You like spending to be done but that I spent in it for You." He will say, "You lie. Rather you did it so that it would be said, 'He is generous.' and so it was said." Then the command will be given and he will be dragged on his face until he is thrown into the Fire.'" [Sahih Muslim (3/1513) No. 1905]

And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allāh and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allāh does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allāh shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly. (Al-Anfal 8:60)

Uqbah bin Amir (RA) narrated: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he was on the minbar when he read the verse: "(And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war...) [8:60], Verily strength is in throwing (i.e. shooting), verily strength is in throwing, verily strength is in throwing.” [Sahih Muslim (3/1522) No. 1917, Musnad Ahmad (4/156) No. 17468, Sunan Abu Dawud (3/13) No. 2514, Sunan Tirmidhi (5/270) No. 3083, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/91) No. 2813, Sunan al-Darime (2/269) No. 2404]

30,000 people gathered in Madina to go to the battle of Tabuk
-when the rasul (saw) announced it
-they hoped to go with the rasul
-but the problem was he had not enough funds to take them all
-they went back home crying and Allah (swt) revealed an ayah to this effect

Nor (is there blame) on those who came to you to be provided with mounts, and when you said: "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, while their eyes overflowing with tears of grief that they could not find anything to spend (for Jihād). (At-Tawbah 9:92)

-Unlike today when hypocrites put dodgy conditions to jihad
-claiming there is no jihad without a caliph
-and that the greatest jihad is to kill the mujahideen

Masculinity is not a requirement for Jihad
-women did jihad at the time of the rasul (saw)

Damrah bin Saeed from his father narrated that some woollen shawls were once brought to Umar Ibn al-Khattab. Amongst them was a very large one of excellent quality. Some people indicated that it was of great value and should be sent to Safiyya bint Ubayd who was recently married to Umar's son Abdullah. However, Umar said, "I shall send it to someone who is more deserving to it, namely Ummu Ammaara Nusayba bint Ka'b about whom I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, 'Whether it was to the right or to the left, in whichever direction I turned I saw her fighting in my defence."' [Maghazi al-Waqidi (1/271), al-Tabaqaat al-Kubra Ibn Sa’d (8/415), Kanz al-Ummal (13/625-626) No. 37592]

-the first Muslim was a woman
-the first shaheed is a woman (Sumaiya)
-the greatest scholar was a woman (Aisha r.a)

Jihad is so sophisticated that a woman can take part in jihad
-she can just use her cellphone to blow up an IED

And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islāmic Monotheism) if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." (Al-Baqarah 2:217)

Narrated By Muawiya: I heard the Prophet saying, "A group of people amongst my followers will remain obedient to Allah's orders and they will not be harmed by anyone who will not help them or who will oppose them, till Allah's Order (the Last Day) comes upon them while they are still on the right path." [Sahih Bukhari (4/207) No. 3641]

Imraan ibn Hussain (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, ‘A group of people from my Ummah will continue to fight for the sake of the truth until the last of them fights the Dajjal (anti-Christ) [Sunan Abu Dawud (3/4) No. 2484, Musnad Ahmad (4/437) No. 19934, Mustadrak al-Haakim (2/81) No. 2392]

So what do you mean there is no jihad taking place?
-you open your filthy mouth and say this?
-what is happening in Gaza, Kashmir is not jihad?
-why do you spew kufr among unsuspecting Muslims

Louis Farrakhan of Chicago is a Zindeeq
-his religion is called hislam not Islam

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allāh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allāh Alone [in the whole of the world[]]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allāh), then certainly, Allāh is All-Seer of what they do. (Al-Anfal 8:39)

-All the scholars say that the fitna means shirk
-the casino, the brothel, the nightclub are all fitna
-but the biggest fitna is shirk

So, when you meet (in fight Jihād in Allāh's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islām), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allāh to continue in carrying out Jihād against the disbelievers till they embrace Islām (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allāh's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allāh, He will never let their deeds be lost, (Muhammad 47:4)

There are so many kuffaar in the world
-this is why the world is in a mess
-they don't have the right to breathe the oxygen of Allah (swt)
-especially the Hindus who worship cows instead of Allah
-this is why Jesus (a.s) will abolish the jizya

The 4 great imams agree that jihad can be waged to obtain the booty
-because of the hadith of the rasul (saw)

Ibn Umar narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "I was sent by the sword from now until Judgment Day, until Allah Alone is worshipped with no partners, and my livelihood is in the shadow of my spear, and humiliation and submission are on those who disobey me and whoever imitates a people is one of them" [Musnad Ahmad (2/50) No. 5115, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (2/417) No. 1154, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (4/212) No. 19401]

Al-Qurtubi said: “Allah sent provision to His Prophet (SAW) by means of his striving and He made it by means of the best kind of striving which is earning it by means of force and strength.” [Tafseer al-Qurtubi (8/108)]

Al-Shawkani (rh) said: “Ibn Abi Jamrah said: The scholars of hadeeth are of the view that if the primary motive is to make the word of Allah supreme, it does not matter what else is also achieved.” [Nayl al-Awthaar (7/254)]

-the rasul had 9 wives
-and the booty was his means of income to feed his wives

Narrated By Ibn Umar: We did not eat our fill except after we had conquered Khaibar. [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #548]

Narrated By 'Aisha: When Khaibar was conquered, we said, "Now we will eat our fill of dates!" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #547]

-many Muslim girls are not married because of poverty
-this is because Muslims have abandoned jihad

During the 1970s many Muslims became communists
-because communism was in its hay days
-so if there is no jihad Muslims will start believing in other things other than Islam

Fight against them so that Allāh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people, (At-Tawbah 9:14)

-there are two qiblahs in the world (the ka'ba and the white house)
-some take the ka'ba and others the white house
-so if you don't disgrace kufr weak Muslims will become kuffaar

Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilāh (god), and Allāh knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allāh? Will you not then remember? (Al-Jathiyah 45:23)

Kashmir, Palestine etc. all need liberation

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikûn (see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud. (Al-Ma'idah 5:82)

Is it that whenever there came to you a Messenger with what you yourselves desired not, you grew arrogant? Some, you disbelieved and some, you killed. (Al-Baqarah 2:87)

-Iraq, Lebanon, Syria need liberation from the Shi’ites
-Pakistan needs liberation from the Berailvis
-Saudi Arabia needs liberation from the house of Saud
-they give their walaa to USA
-the people of Gaza are crying out this dua (4:75)

And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allāh, and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help." (An-Nisa 4:75)

Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Verily the most painful punishment on the Day of Judgment are those who kill the prophets or people murdered by the prophet or kill one of his parents, and making statues and knowledgeable people who do not benefit from his knowledge." [related by Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (10/288) No. 7504]

-the apartheid in South Africa is a walk in the park compared to Gaza

Have you heard about Ka'ab Ibn Ashraf?
-he was a leader of kufr and a Jew
-he was a poet, rich and handsome
-the Kuffaar of Makkah asked him whether to embrace Islam or stay in shirk
-he told them that they should stay on paganism
-he was devastated by the victory of the Muslims at Badr
-so he went to insight the kuffaar of Makkah to take revenge

The straw that broke the camel's back
-was when he wrote poetry that said that all the Muslim women of Madina
-had a crush on him
-he was killed by Muhammad Ibn Maslama from the tribe of Al -Aws

But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and attack your religion with disapproval and criticism then fight (you) the leaders of disbelief (chiefs of Quraish - pagans of Makkah) - for surely their oaths are nothing to them - so that they may stop (evil actions). (At-Tawbah 9:12)

-when you take out the think tanks of kuffaar
-they become headless chickens

Two young men from the ansar heard of Abu Jahl
-they asked Abdur Rahman Ibn Auf
-to show them who Abu Jahl was to kill him
-they were told about how he used to hurt the rasul
-so they hated him and killed him

`Abdur-Rahman bin `Auf narrated: 'While I was standing in the row on the day (of the battle) of Badr, I looked to my right and my left and saw two young Ansari boys, and I wished I had been stronger than they. One of them called my attention saying, "O Uncle! Do you know Abu Jahl?" I said, "Yes, What do you want from him, O my nephew?" He said, "I have been informed that he abuses Allah's Apostle. By Him in Whose Hands my life is, if I should see him, then my body will not leave his body till either of us meet his fate." I was astonished at that talk. Then the other boy called my attention saying the same as the other had said. After a while I saw Abu Jahl walking amongst the people. I said (to the boys), "Look! This is the man you asked me about." So, both of them attacked him with their swords and struck him to death and returned to Allah's Apostle to inform him of that. Allah's Apostle asked, "Which of you has killed him?" Each of them said, "I Have killed him." Allah's Apostle asked, "Have you cleaned your swords?" They said, "No. " He then looked at their swords and said, "No doubt, you both have killed him and the spoils of the deceased will be given to Mu`adh bin `Amr bin Al-Jamuh." The two boys were Mu`adh bin 'Afra and Mu`adh bin `Amr bin Al-Jamuh. [al-Bukhari (3141) and Muslim (1752)]

The Muslims were grumbling when the treaty of Hudaibiyya was signed
-but the rasul (saw) knew that they will break the covenant

Will you not fight a people who have violated their oaths (pagans of Makkah) and intended to expel the Messenger, while they did attack you first? Do you fear them? Allāh has more right that you should fear Him, if you are believers. (At-Tawbah 9:13)

-Makkah was conquered when they broke the covenant
-this is why Allah (swt) called this treaty a victory

Verily, We have given you (O Muhammad SAW) a manifest victory. (Al-Fath 48:1)

The Hindus broke down the Barbary masjid in 1992
-the Jews are bent on tearing down masjid-ul Aqsa
-to receive the dajjaal

Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: "Our Lord is Allāh." - For had it not been that Allāh checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allāh is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allāh will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allāh is All-Strong, All-Mighty. (Al-Hajj 22:40)

900 Palestinians were released in exchange for 1 Israeli soldier
-the Jews were shocked

Sheikh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: “Freeing the prisoners is one of the greatest compulsory deeds and spending ransom money and other means towards that, is one of the greatest ways to come close to Allah.” [Al-Fatawa (28/635)]

Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani said: “The saying of Imam Al-Bukhari, 'The Chapter on Freeing Prisoners' refers to freeing them from the hands of the enemy by money or by other means. The word 'Al-Fakak', where the fa (Arabic letter) from the word has a fatha (it is also permissible for it to take a kasrah), means to free. This word is mentioned in two hadiths. The first one is the hadith of Abu Musa: "Free the prisoner." Ibn Battal said that freeing the prisoners is compulsory on a collective duty (Fard Kifayah). This opinion is also held by the majority of the scholars.” [Fath Al-Bari (6/167)]

Ibn Nuhaas transmits from An-Nawawi in Ar-Raudah: “If the enemy capture a Muslim or two, then is it equivalent to invading a Muslim land? There are two opinions on this. The first opinion is no, because the troubling of one Muslim soldier is insignificant. The more correct and other opinion of the two is yes, because the sanctity of a single Muslim is greater than the sanctity of an entire state.” [Mashari Al-Ashwaq ila Masari' Al-Ushaq (2/838)]

-the Muslims suffer torture when in captivity
-some of these prisoners are on death row to be hanged

Ibn Qudaamah (rh) said: ‘It is obligatory to pay the ransom money for the Muslim prisoners, if it is possible. This was also said by Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, Imam Malik and Ishaq. It has been narrated from Ibn Zubair that he asked al-Hassan bin Ali about freeing the prisoners. al-Hassan replied: “It is obligatory upon the entire Earth on which he was fighting.” It has been established from the Messenger of Allah (SAW) that he said: “Feed the hungry, visit the sick and free the prisoner.” It has been narrated by Saeed through his chain from Hibban bin Jabalah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Indeed it is obligatory upon the Muslims to free their captives or to pay their ransoms.” The Messenger of Allah (SAW) wrote a letter advising the Muhajireen and Ansar: “To restrain the enemy soldiers in their fortresses and to free the Muslim captives with goodness.” The Messenger of Allah (SAW) paid the ransom for two Muslim men with a man who he (SAWS) had taken from Bani Uqail, and he paid the ransom for two people with a woman who was given as a gift by Salamah bin Al-Akwa.’ [al-Mughni (9/284) No. 7567]

All the countries in OPEC are Muslim countries except Venezuela
-this oil is needed by kuffaar for their economy
-this is why they invade countries
-to steal the oil

And if Allāh did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allāh is full of Bounty to the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Baqarah 2:251)

-the Russians blew up a hotel and blamed it on the Muslims
-to invade the Muslims and steal their oil

When you see what is happening in Burma and in Gaza your breast bleeds
-Hindus are raping 16 year old Muslim girls in Occupied Kashmir

Fight against them so that Allāh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people, (At-Tawbah 9:14)

-the only thing to heal your breast is jihad
-and nothing else under the heaven
-so dispatching the kuffaar to the hellfire is the only thing to do

-some Muslims are so sinful the only way to attain paradise is to die a shaheed

If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allāh may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allāh likes not the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers). (Aali Imran 3:140)

Miqdam ibn Ma’dikarib (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “There are with Allah six blessings for the martyr.
[1] He is forgiven with the first drop of blood.
[2] He is shown his abode in paradise.
[3] He is preserved from the torment of the grave and is safe from the great fear on the Day of Resurrection.
[4] A crown of honour ingrained with pearl is placed on his head, which is better than the world and what it contains.
[5] He is married to seventy-two maidens (huris) of paradise.
[6] His intercession for his seventy relatives is accepted.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/187-188) No. 1663, Musnad Ahmad (4/131) No. 17221, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/82) No. 2799]

On the authority of Masruq who said: We asked 'Abdullah about the Qur'anic verse: “Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.” (Aali Imran 3:169). He said: We asked the meaning of the verse (from the Holy Prophet) who said: "The souls of the martyrs live in the bodies of green birds who have their nests in chandeliers hung from the throne of the Almighty. They eat the fruits of Paradise wherever they like and then nestle in these chandeliers. Once, their Lord cast a glance at them and said: "Do you want anything?" They said: "What more can we desire? We eat the fruit of Paradise wherever we like." Their Lord asked them the same question thrice. When they saw that they would be continued to be asked and not left (without answering the question), they said: "O Lord, we wish that You may return our souls to our bodies so that we may be slain in Your cause once again. When He (Allah) saw that they had no need, they were left (to their joy in Heaven)." [Sahih Muslim (3/1502) No. 1887]

When the sahabah were thirsty to the verge of death
-they still preferred their brothers over them

Habeeb bin Abi Thaabit narrates that Haarith bin Hishaam, Ikrama bin Abi Jahal and Ayaash bin Rabee'ah (RA) were all fatally wounded during the Battle of Yarmook. When Haarith bin Hishaam asked for some water and was about to drink it, Ikrama looked at him. Haarith said, "Give the water to Ikrama." When Ikrama took the water, Ayaash looked at him. Ikrama therefore asked that the water be given to Ayaash. However, before the water could reach Ayaash he had already passed away. By the time the water reached the others, they had also passed away. [Mustadrak al-Haakim (3/270) No. 5058]

The hypocrites were exposed when jihad was prescribed
-it would have been better for them to hear and obey

Those who believe say: "Why is not a Sûrah (chapter of the Qur'ān) sent down (for us)? But when a decisive Sûrah (explaining and ordering things) is sent down, and fighting (Jihād ¬ holy fighting in Allāh's Cause) is mentioned (i.e. ordained) therein, you will see those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) looking at you with a look of one fainting to death. But it was better for them (hypocrites, to listen to Allāh and to obey Him). (Muhammad 47:20)

-sometimes in life what you love is not good for you
-and what you hate is good for you
-2:216 is a general ayah not just for jihad

…and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allāh knows but you do not know. (Al-Baqarah 2:216

...Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not tell you of the foundation of all of that?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." So he took hold of his tongue and said, "Restrain this." ...

You need to restrain your tongue
-else you will give away all your ajir on judgement day
-you gossip, backbite, slander etc.
-these are all crimes committed by the tongue

It is reported from Hudhaifa that news reached him (the Holy Prophet) that a certain man carried tales. Upon this Hudhaifa remarked: I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) saying: "The tale-bearer shall not enter Paradise." [al-Bukhari (6056) and Muslim (189)]

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Do you know who is the bankrupt?" They said: "The bankrupt among us is one who has neither money with him nor any property." He said, "The real bankrupt of my Ummah would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with Salat, Saum and Sadaqah (charity), (but he will find himself bankrupt on that day as he will have exhausted the good deeds) because he reviled others, brought calumny against others, unlawfully devoured the wealth of others, shed the blood of others and beat others; so his good deeds would be credited to the account of those (who suffered at his hand). If his good deeds fall short to clear the account, their sins would be entered in his account and he would be thrown in the (Hell) Fire." [Sahih Muslim (4/1997) No. 2581]

...I said, "O Prophet of Allah, will we be taken to account for what we say with it?" He (SAW) said, "May your mother be bereaved of you, O Muadh! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces — or: on their noses — except the harvests of their tongues?"

Assalamu Alaikum Sheikh, it is difficult to be accepted in Madina University, Makkah & Riyadh if one is over the age of 25. Sheikh do you recommend studying the deen online if one wants to study for a degree similar to Madina, etc. For example, what is your opinion of the Islamic online university set up by Dr. Bilal Philips? Also, what is sheikh's view regarding Dr. Bilal Philips and Dr. Abdul hakim Quick?

-Allah used these 2 to send me to study in Riyadh
-Dr Bilal Phillips lives in Qatar and he can’t speak like I do here in Jamaica
-but when I spoke to Bilal Philips he had our aqeeda
-he does not discuss with me sensitive aqeeda issues in public
-and he believes if you dismantle the Shari’ah you are a kaafir
-unless he changes his aqeeda but this is what he told me the last time

I spent 2008 Ramadan with him and we discussed aqeeda issues
-but one of my admins pmed me to say he believes in democracy
-I don’t know if that is the case

Someone said Bilal Philips said no jihad without a caliph
-bring me hujjah to support you are right
-I don’t want to go by hearsay
-and this fatwa is dodgy because it does not make sense

There is no harm in you doing the degree with Bilal Philips online
-especially if it is free and you have other avenue to learn your proper aqeeda
-if you can’t get to Saudi because of age
-choose an alternative Muslim country to learn your deen
-there are many Arab countries that teach the deen

I know you want to be in Saudi but you can try other countries
-the Saudis are very rigid with intakes

Assalamu alaikum sheikh, if you slept and missed your salah do you make it up even if another salah comes in? I heard the ulama say it’s disliked to speak in another language other than Arabic and that the sahabah used to tell the ajnab (non-Arabs) to learn Arabic. I also heard Arabic is the language of Jannat but never seen a hadith like this, is this true? barakallahufeek

-If you miss salah you have to make it up
-e.g. you woke up 9am, you have to pray fajr that time
-so you pray the salah the time you wake up
-if you miss dhuhr, you join it with asr and pray 8 rak’ah
-four for dhuhr and four for asr
-because you are not a traveller

The reason why they say Arabic is the language in Jannah is because of an ayah in surah 36
-because Allah will say to you Assalamu Alaikum

(It will be said to them): Salāmun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allāh), Most Merciful. (Ya-Sin 36:58)

Imam Shafi'i (rh) said: "Every Muslim is obligated to learn the Arabic tongue to the utmost of his power in order [to be able] to profess through it that "There is no Ilah but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger" and to utter what is mandated upon him, the takbir, and what is commanded, the tasbih, and the tashahhud and others." [al-Risala al-Shafi'i (pg. 47)]

Ibn Taymiyyah said: "Moreover, the Arabic language itself is part of Islam, and knowing Arabic is an obligatory duty. If it is a duty to understand the Qur’an and Sunnah, and they cannot be understood without knowing Arabic, then the means that is needed to fulfil the duty is also obligatory.” [Iqtida' as-Sirat al-Mustaqeem (1/527)]

-these 2 imams above believe to learn Arabic is fard
-but people are lazy to learn Arabic

Ibn Taymiyya said it is makrooh to speak the other languages
-because they are inferior to Arabic
-and they breed hypocrisy in your heart
-hence when the early Muslims went to live in Syria, Iraq and Maghreb,
-they taught the people to speak Arabic
-so that it became the equivalent language in those countries

Ibn Taymiyyah said: “As for becoming accustomed to talking to one another in a language other than Arabic, which is the symbol of Islam and the language of the Qur’aan, so that this becomes a habit in the land, with one’s family and household members, with one’s friends, in the marketplace, when addressing government representatives or authority figures or when speaking to people of knowledge, undoubtedly this is makrooh (disliked), because it involves being like the non-Arabs, which is makrooh, as stated previously. Hence when the early Muslims went to live in Syria and Egypt, where the people spoke Byzantine Greek, and in Iraq and Khurasaan, where the people spoke Farsi, and the Maghrib (North Africa) where the people spoke Berber, they taught the people of those countries to speak Arabic, so that Arabic became the prevalent language in those lands, and all the people, Muslim and kaafir alike, spoke Arabic. Such was also the case in Khurasaan in the past, then they became lax with regard to the language and got used to speaking Farsi until it became prevalent and Arabic was forgotten by most of them. Undoubtedly this is makrooh. The best way is to become accustomed to speaking Arabic so that the young people will learn it in their homes and schools, so that the symbol of Islam and its people will prevail. This will make it easier for the people of Islam to understand the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and the words of the Salaf, unlike a person who gets used to speaking one language, then wants to learn another, and finds it difficult. Know that being used to using a language has a clear and strong effect on one’s thinking, behaviour and religious commitment. It also has an effect on making one resemble the early generations of this Ummah, the Sahaabah and Taabi’een. Being like them improves one’s thinking, religious commitment and behaviour. Moreover, the Arabic language itself is part of Islam, and knowing Arabic is an obligatory duty. If it is a duty to understand the Qur’aan and Sunnah, and they cannot be understood without knowing Arabic, then the means that is needed to fulfil the duty is also obligatory. There are things which are obligatory on all individuals (fard ‘ayn), and others which are obligatory on the community or ummah (fard kifaayah, i.e., if some people fulfil them the rest are relieved of the obligation). This is the meaning of the report narrated by Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah who said: ‘Eesa ibn Yoonus told us from Thawr from ‘Umar ibn Yazeed that ‘Umar wrote to Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari (may Allaah be pleased with him) and said: ‘learn the Sunnah and learn Arabic; learn the Qur’aan in Arabic for it is Arabic.’ According to another hadeeth narrated from ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him), he said: ‘Learn Arabic for it is part of your religion, and learn how the estate of the deceased should be divided (faraa’id) for these are part of your religion.’ This command of ‘Umar, to learn Arabic and Sharee’ah, combines the things that are needed, for religion involves understanding words and actions. Understanding Arabic is the way to understand the words of Islam, and understanding the Sunnah is the way to understand the actions of Islam…” [Iqtida' as-Sirat al-Mustaqeem (1/526-528)]

Some Ulama say in darul kufr the people are considered as kuffar until you have evidence that the individual is a Muslim by his/her right aqeeda. Is this right? jzk shaikh

Answer 3:-
-No it is not

Assalamu alaikum shaikh, I'm trying to get married soon, I was hoping you could advise me on who I should marry? What characteristics should the sister have? Please elaborate. And could you tell us the qualifications and characteristics of a good ameer?

-a good ameer has taqwa and is wise
-he is a scholar, patient and kind
-he is also brave

Whenever you want to marry a woman, she should be pious and beautiful
-obeys her husband and loves Islam
-if you have these she will make a good wife insha Allah
-do not marry without chemistry to avoid impotence
-Allah said:

And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan¬girls, then marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one or (the captives and the slaves) that your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice. (An-Nisa 4:3)

Narrated By Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers. [al-Bukhari (5090) and Muslim (1466)]

عن أبي سعيد الخدري، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إياكم وخضراء الدمن» ، فقيل: يا رسول الله، وما خضراء الدمن؟ قال: «المرأة الحسناء في المنبت السوء»
“Beware of the ‘khadra- addiman’ They asked what is that, Messenger of Allah. He said: the beautiful woman from a bad environment/upbringing” [Quda'ee (d. 454 H) in 'Musnad al-Shihab' (2/96) No. 957]

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, the Thanksgiving holiday is coming up in the US as well as Christmas and there are a lot of reverts that have kaffir family members. Is it haram for a Muslim to go to visit his kuffar family members on pagan holidays and eat their food or is it better to visit them on another regular day?

-there is nothing wrong to attend thanksgiving if you are mending family ties
-but don’t wish people merry Christmas
-the scholars also said it is not allowed to eat the food of the kuffaar on Christmas
-you can attend thanksgiving to mend family ties
-but not Christmas

On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr who said: “Anyone who lived in the land of the infidels and celebrated their religious festivals and imitated them till he died in that state, will be raised among them on the Day of Judgment.” [al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Bayhaqi (9/392) No. 18864]

Assalamu alaikum sheikh, can a woman do hajj with her uncle or another family member?

-her uncle is her mahram like her father
-so she can go for hajj with him
-as for other family members, your cousin and brother in law are not your mahrams
-they can’t take you to hajj

Assalamu alaikum, when making witr, do I give salaam after the two rak’ah or I proceed to the witr rak’ah?

-the proper way to do it is to pray 2 rak’ah and make salaam
-then pray one rak’ah and recite the qunoot of witr when you get up from ruku'u

Ibn 'Umar said, “The Prophet (SAW) used to pray the night prayers two by two and then do the witr with one rak'at. He would pray two rak'ats before the morning prayer with the adhan still echoing in his ears.” [al-Bukhari (995) and Muslim (749)]

al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali (RA) who said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) taught me some words to say in qunoot al-witr: اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، وَلا يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ “Allahummahdini fiman hadait, wa a'fini fiman afait, wa tawallani fiman tawallait, wa barik Li fima atait, wa qini sharra ma qadait, fa Innaka taqdi wa la yuqda Alaik, wa innahu la yadhillu man walait wa la ya'izzu man Adait, tabarakta Rabbana wa ta'alait." (O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, pardon me among those whom You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship among those on whom You have turned in friendship, and bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can influence You; and he is not humiliated whom You have befriended, nor is he honoured who is Your enemy. Blessed are You, O Lord, and Exalted). [Sunan Abu Dawud (2/63) No. 1425, Sunan Tirmidhi (2/328) No. 464, Sunan al-Nasa'i (3/248) No. 1745]

-the prophet (saw) said do not make your witr like Maghrib salah
-witr means an odd number
-and shaf'i means even number

Assalamu alaikum, there's an Asha’ira I know of (of Soofi persuasion) who slandered Ibn Taymiyya, calling him offensive swear words. Is he in the fold of Islam?

-they are still in the fold of Islam
-those who insult a prophet should be killed
-but those who insult a sahabi should be flogged

Hussain ibn Ali related from his father Ali Ibn Abi Talib that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever curses a Prophet, kill him. Whoever curses my Companions, beat him." [al-Mu’jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (5/35) No. 4602]

It was narrated that Abu Barzah Al-Aslami said: "A man spoke harshly to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, and I said: 'Shall I kill him?' He rebuked me and said: 'That is not for anyone after the Messenger of Allah (SAW)"'. [Sunan Nasa'i (7/108) No. 4071]

-if you insult a sincere scholar you can’t be flogged more than 10 lashes
-for insulting a sahabi you receive 80 lashes

It was narrated from Abu Bardah al-Ansari that he heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: "No one should be given more than ten lashes except in the case of one of the hadd punishments of Allah.” [al-Bukhari (6850) and Muslim (1708)]

-if he slanders a Muslim his punishment is 80 lashes
-if he committed a sin you can punish him but not more than 10 lashes

Assalamu alaikum Sheikh, I read about the beard being waajib and that all 4 imams agree that the one who shaves it is in perpetual sin until he lets it grow. Am I allowed to say that I don't want to pray behind an imam that shaves (and trims his beard down to the skin) because he is clearly broadcasting his sin?

-according to the sahabah, the beard is waajib
-this is their ijmaa
-and you have to go along it

If the person is in darul harb and does not have a beard you may pray behind him
-but in darul Islam, you are not allowed to pray behind someone who shaves his beard

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.” [al-Bukhari (5892) and Muslim (259)]

-the first people to slaughter their beard were the people of Sodom

The only time you can shave your beard is when you are doing taqiyyah
-e.g. if you are going for jihad and does not want to be seen as a Muslim
-you are deceiving them
-you are allowed to shave to infiltrate the ranks of the kuffaar
-a sahabi did this at the battle of the ditch
-and broke up their alliance

Assalamu alaikum, I performed the most recent Hajj Alhamdulillah. Throughout the entire trip, I only had ONE instance of conflict during the stay in the Tent City of Mina... where my head was occasionally being pushed (and even punched) aggressively by some obnoxious sister on the other side of the tent claiming that I was taking up her tent room. On the evening of Eid, I decided to push back with equal force to deter her from misbehaving, and then got into an argument with her (through the plastic tent partition). Is there any risk of my Hajj being nullified? If so, what can I do for Allah (swt) To Overturn the Decision and Accept my Hajj? In this particular case, being patient alone would have simply meant continuous harassment from that obnoxious sister; hence I retaliated on the basis of having to 'resist to exist'. Kindly advice. Jzk.

Not everyone who goes to hajj is a Muslim
-only sex on hajj can nullify it
-Allah tells you how to behave on hajj
-to quarrel and push another would take away some of the barakah but not nullify hajj

The Hajj (pilgrimage) is (in) the well-known (lunar year) months (i.e. the 10th month, the 11th month and the first ten days of the 12th month of the Islāmic calendar, i.e. two months and ten days). So whosoever intends to perform Hajj therein by assuming Ihrām), then he should not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commit sin, nor dispute unjustly during the Hajj. And whatever good you do, (be sure) Allāh knows it. And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is At-Taqwa (piety, righteousness, etc.). So fear Me, O men of understanding! (Al-Baqarah 2:197)

With regards to female slaves in modern times, how can this be addressed and understood? How does the Ahlu Sunnah wal jamm’ah understand this?

-right hand possess is something studied in university
-in war the women and kids are not killed
-the women are taken as right hand possess
-it will continue until judgement day
-it is part and parcel of jihad

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) (Al-Mu'minun 23:5)

Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; (Al-Mu'minun 23:6)

But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; (Al-Mu'minun 23:7)

-you don’t have to marry your right hand possess to go to bed with her
-the prophet (saw) didn’t marry his right hand possess from Egypt
-they are captives after a war

Unless if she is a soldier
-then she can be killed
-one of the most exciting thing in life is to kill a kaffir and have sex with his wife

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, Is operations halal against kuffar and when you do this, is it okay to have an ameer from amongst your people. Hadith say "It is not permitted for three men to be in a desert place without putting one of their number in leadership." (Ahmad on the authority of 'Abd Allah bin 'Umar) "When three persons go on a journey, let them put one of their number in command." (Abu Da'ud on the authority of Abu Sa'id)"

-you need at least an ameer to do jihad
-you don’t need a caliph to do jihad
-when Ibn Baaz passed his fatwa calling for jihad
-we were without a caliph and half a million Muslims went to Afghanistan
-you need an ameer but no a caliph

At the battle of Ain Jaloot there was no caliph
-they had an ameer
