On the authority of Abu al-’Abbas Sahl bin Sa’ad as-Sa’idee (RA) who said: A man came to the Prophet (SAW) and said, "O Messenger of Allah, direct me to an act which, if I do it, [will cause] Allah to love me and the people to love me." So he (SAW) said, "Renounce the world and Allah will love you, and renounce what the people possess and the people will love you." A hasan hadith related by Ibn Majah and others with good chains of authorities.

The hadith is talking about the dunya
-and how to get the Love of Allah (swt) and the people

We need to balance dunya and aakhira
-there are many Quranic verses and hadith on dunya
-Surah 3:14 sets out the things in the dunya that are loved by man

Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world's life; but Allah has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers, etc.) with Him. (Aali Imran 3:14)

-the blacks of Zimbabwe went after the land of the whites because it was already well tilt
-and this is one of the pleasures of the dunya

And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew. (Al-'Ankabut 29:64)

-Allah (swt) dismissed the life of this world as nothing but deceiving (57:20)

Know that the life of this world is only play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children, as the likeness of vegetation after rain, thereof the growth is pleasing to the tiller; afterwards it dries up and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes straw. But in the Hereafter (there is) a severe torment (for the disbelievers, evil-doers), and (there is) Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the believers, good-doers), whereas the life of this world is only a deceiving enjoyment. (Al-Hadid 57:20)

Nay, you prefer the life of this world; (Al-A'la 87:16)

Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (Al-A'la 87:17)

al-Mustaurad bin Shaddad (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “This world (i.e., its pleasures and duration) in comparison with the Hereafter is (similar to the amount of water) one gets when he puts his finger in the sea. Let him then see what it returns with.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2193) No. 2858]

-people run after the dunya when it is like a dead lamb that no one wants

Jabir bin Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of 'Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: “Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham?” They said: ‘We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us.’ He said: “Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)?” They said: ‘By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also.’ Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah as it (this dead lamb) is in your eye.” [Sahih Muslim (4/2272) No. 2957]

Narrated Abu Huraira, the Prophet (saw) said, “The dunya is a prison for the believers and Paradise for the kaafir (disbeliever),” [Sahih Muslim, vol.4, #7058]

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: Allah’s Messenger (SAW) held me by a part of my body and said, “Be in this world as though you are a stranger or one cutting through the road and count yourself among the occupiers of the grave.” After this, Ibn Umar said to Mujahid ‘When it is morning, you should not trust yourself to make it to evening, and when it is evening, you should not expect to make it to the morning. Seize opportunity of your good health before you fall ill and of your life before your death. For, you could not say what will be with you tomorrow. [Tirmidhi 2340, Ahmed 4764, Bukhari 6416]

Health is wealth
-without health you can't earn a living
-so you are not allowed to abuse your health

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) that which pleases Allah; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.'' [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/561) 2322 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/231) 4112, (Abu Eesa al-Tirmidhi said: this hadeeth is hasan ghareeb)]

'Abdullah ibn ash-Shikhir said, “I came to the Prophet (SAW), when he was reciting ‘Fierce competition for this world distracted you.’” (102:1) He said, ‘The son of Adam says, “My property! My property!” Son of Adam, have you any other property than what you eat and thus gets used up, wear and thus becomes worn out, and give in sadaqa and thus make effective?’” [Sahih Muslim (4/2273) No. 2958]

Sahi Ibn Sa’d (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “If in Allah’s sight the world had so much worth as the wing of a mosquito, then a infidel would never have drunk even a drop of water.” [Tirmidhi (4/560) No. 2320, Ibn e Majah (5/230) No. 4110, al-Haakim (4/341) No. 7847]

'Abdullah ibn Mughaffal said, “A man said to the Prophet (SAW) ‘Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I love you.’ He said, ‘Be careful of what you say.’ He said, ‘By Allah, I love you,’ three times. He said, ‘If you love me, then prepare yourself for poverty. Poverty comes swifter to the one who loves me than a flood to its destination.’” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/576-577) No. 2350

-when the rasul (saw) said that you need to be prepared for poverty
-he meant that the kuffaar will place on you sanctions
-because the sahabah went through this
-and they had to boil their shoes to eat
-this was because they loved the rasul (saw) and that they were Muslims

But seek, with that (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of legal enjoyment in this world, and do good as Allah has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts). (Al-Qasas 28:77)

-Shaikh is not preaching poverty but you should pursue both the dunya and aakhira
-don't let your pursue of the dunya take you away from aakhira
-you should balance the two because you are a balanced nation

On the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "A man who persists in begging people to give him charity, will come on the Day of Judgment and there will not be a piece of flesh on his face." [al-Bukhari (1474) and Muslim (1040)]

-if you are healthy and strong it is haram to beg
-some people go to jumm’ah to beg
-and also to hajj to beg
-some make it their profession to beg

On the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever asks the people for money in order to amass more wealth is asking for a burning coal, so let him ask for less or more.” [Sahih Muslim (2/720) No. 1041, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/47) No. 1838, Musnad Ahmad (2/231) No. 7163]

Ibn 'Umar is that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) stated while he was on the minbar, “The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is the one which spends and the lower is the beggar's.” [al-Bukhari (1429) and Muslim (1033)]

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “For one of you to chop wood and carry it on his back is better for him than asking (begging) from anyone who will either give him something or refuse to give him anything.” [al-Bukhari (1968) and Muslim (1042)]

-if the poor people always beg at the masjid
-it may chase the rich away from the masjid
-they also need to come to the masjid to learn their deen

Abu Hurayra said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer although there is good in each. Desire that which will bring you benefit, and seek help from Allah and do not give way to incapacity. If something happens to you, do not say, 'If only I had done such-and-such.' Rather say, 'The decree of Allah. He does what He will.' Otherwise you will open yourself up to the action of Shaytan." [Sahih Muslim, Book 33, Hadith #6441]

-Allah doesn't like it if you kill yourself by smoking cigarette

The people who are kind hearted

...verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good¬doers). (Aali Imran 3:134)

'A'isha reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Allah is kind and loves kindness in every matter.” [al-Bukhari (6927) and Muslim (2593)]

-Allah loves generosity in sales and purchases
-don't rip off people with prices

Make taubah if you commit haram
-and don't justify your sin

...Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). (Al-Baqarah 2:222)

Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “All of my ummah will be forgiven except those who sin openly. It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990)

The people who make istinja, get circumcised etc.

Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said concerning one who had intercourse with his wife when she was menstruating: “Let him give a dinar or half a dinar in charity.” [Musnad Ahmad (1/229) No. 2032, Sunan Abu Dawud (2/251) No. 2168, Sunan Tirmidhi (1/244) No. 136, Sunan An-Nasa’i (1/153) No. 289 and Sunan Ibn Majah (1/405) No. 640]

-you should brush your teeth as often as possible

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "If it was not for the fact that I might have been overburdening my community - or the people - I would have ordered them to use the siwak for every prayer." [al-Bukhari (887) and Muslim (252)]

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “If it were not too much of a burden on my nation, I would have ordered them to use the Siwak with every ablution (they perform).” [Musnad Ahmad (2/460) No. 9930, al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (3/291) No. 3031, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah (1/73) No. 140]

...verily, then Allah loves those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2). (Aali Imran 3:76)

You should be just even when you are kissing your kids
-you can't kiss one and not the other

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Allah loves that you be just toward your children even when kissing them." Ibn Al-Najjar

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allāh and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Well¬Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Ma'idah 5:8)

...Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Al-Anfal 8:46)

... And Allah loves As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Aali Imran 3:146)

-some people used to eat ham, smoke and drink alcohol before they were Muslims
-but they are patient after they became Muslims by staying away from these
-doing the fard even though it is difficult is also patience

Narrated by Abu Qatadah and Abu Ad-Dahma' who said: We came to a man from the people of the desert and asked him: Did you hear a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (SAW)? He said: I heard him saying: "Whosoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, then Allah the Mighty and Magnificent, will replace it with something better than it." [Musnad Ahmad, Vol. 5, pg.363, No. 23124]

...Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). (Aali Imran 3:159)

...They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Verily, the hypocrites are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). (At-Tawbah 9:67)

O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All¬Knower. (Al-Ma'idah 5:54)

-not those who fight for the sake of democracy or nationalism

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan). (An-Nisa 4:76)

Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind) : "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Aali Imran 3:31)

Verily, Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a solid structure. (As-Saff 61:4)

-they do it with an ameer and obey the ameer
-they fight in a solid structure because they are organised

Had they marched out with you, they would have added to you nothing except disorder, and they would have hurried about in your midst (spreading corruption) and sowing sedition among you, and there are some among you who would have listened to them. And Allah is the All-Knower of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). (At-Tawbah 9:47)

Abu Huraira narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler; a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's sake, meeting for that and parting upon that a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position [for illegal intercourse], but be says: 'I fear Allah', a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.' [al-Bukhari (660) and Muslim (1031)]

-in Tanzania the masjid is packed to capacity at Maghrib

Narrated By 'Ubdaidullah Al-Khaulani: I heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan saying, when people argued too much about his intention to reconstruct the mosque of Allah's Apostle, "You have talked too much. I heard the Prophet saying, 'Whoever built a mosque, (Bukair thought that 'Asim, another subnarrator, added, "Intending Allah's Pleasure"), Allah would build for him a similar place in Paradise.'" [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, Hadith #441]

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger (SAW) say, ‘(There are) two eyes that the Fire will never touch, the eye that wept from fear of Allah and the eye that stood guard in the night in Allah’s path.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/175) No. 1639 and Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/227) No. 1639]

Sahl bin Sa'd (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Observing Ribat (e.g., guarding the Islamic frontier for the sake of Allah) for a single day is far better than the world and all that it contains. A place in Jannah as small as the whip of your horse is far better than the world and all that it contains. An endeavour (fighting) in the Cause of Allah in the evening or in the morning is far better than the world and all that it contains." [al-Bukhari (2892) and Muslim (1881)]

Al-Tabarani, Ibn Ya'la, Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim narrated: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "If two men love each other for the sake of Allah, the stronger in love to his brother will be more loved by Allah."

Al-Ash'ari said, "Part of respect for Allah is to show respect to an old Muslim and to someone who knows the Qur'an, as long as he does not go to excess in it nor turn away from it, and to respect a just ruler." [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, Hadith #357]

...Verily the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets. Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune." [Musnad Ahmad (5/196) No. 21763; Also related by Abu Dawud (2/341) No. 3641; at-Tirmidhi (5/48) No. 2682; Ibn Majah (1/150) No. 223, ad-Daarimee (1/110) No. 342 and ibn Hibbaan (1/289) No. 88]

On the authority of Aisha (RA) the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Verily Allah the Exalted the Majestic loves when anyone of you should do an act you do it properly and complete it." [Musnad Abu Ya'la (7/349) No. 4386, al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (1/275) No. 897, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (7/233) No. 4931]

Narrated By Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "A prostitute was forgiven by Allah, because, passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, and tying it with her head-cover she drew out some water for it. So, Allah forgave her because of that." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Book 54, Hadith #538]

Jarir ibn 'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah said, "If someone does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him." [al-Bukhari (7376) and Muslim (2319)]

Abdullah ibn Amr (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Those who are merciful will be given mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One above the heavens will have mercy on you.” [Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 40, Hadith #4941]

Thus We have made you [true Muslims - real believers of Islamic Monotheism, true followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways)], a Wasat (just) (and the best) nation, that you be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger (Muhammad) be a witness over you.... (Al-Baqarah 2:143)

So Allah neither Loves the Khawarij nor the murji
-but HE Loves those who are balanced

-you have to be something, else you are a burden on the Islamic state

Al-Tabarani narrated: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Allah loves the slave who believes and acquires a career (or work)."

-this means physical strength

It was narrated that Sa’eed ibn Jubayr said: Ibn ‘Abbas said to me: “Have you gotten married?” I said: “No.” He said: “Get married, for the best of this ummah are the ones with the most wives.” [Sahih Bukhari (7/3) No. 5069]

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The most perfect of believers in belief is the best of them in character. The best of you are those who are the best to their women." [Musnad Ahmad (2/472) No. 10110, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/466) No. 1162, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/220) No. 4682]

Anas Ibn Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "A believer is shrewd, sharp and careful." [Quda'ee (d. 454 H) in 'Musnad al-Shihab' (Vol. 1 pg. 107) No. 128]

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: "A believer is not bitten from the same hole twice.” [Related by al-Bukhari (6133) and Muslim (2998)]

Assalamu alaikum, kindly define the 'heart' (in the Deen of Islam). How does the physical piece of flesh pumping blood also act as a container of feelings and intentions? I often hear the heart referred to interchangeably with our soul. Jzk.

-the heart is an organ that contains feelings
-people send a heart when they want to tell you they love you
-the heart contains love/racism/tribalism/
-it contains all your emotions
-it has your aqeeda

...There is a lump of flesh in the body, the nature of which is that when it is sound, the entire body is sound, and when it is corrupt, the entire body is corrupt - it is the heart.'" [al-Bukhari (52) and Muslim (1599)]

-they ask how can one be punished when Allah is the one who sealed their heart?
-They turned away first then Allah sealed it

...So when they turned away (from the Path of Allah), Allah turned their hearts away (from the Right Path). And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). (As-Saff 61:5)

Sheikh, I had a discussion with a brother and we were talking about music. I was on stance that music is haraam and that music was started by the shaytan in the time of Prophet Idris (as). The brother had the stance that all the hadiths that said music was haraam were da'eef, is it true? He even said that Prophet Dawud (as) used to play an instrument, Allahualim. He also used the fact that the Angel will blow a trumpet in the last day. Can you give us a daleel on this, Jzk Shaikh.

-Allah spoke about music in surah Luqman
-Allah referred to it as senseless pass time
-and all the scholars agree it is music

And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). (Luqman 31:6)

-not all the hadiths are weak
-there is hadith in Bukhari about this
-he cannot say all the hadiths are weak

Ibn Mas'ud when he was asked about this verse: 'And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge...' (Luqman 31:6), he said: "By Allah, besides Whom there is no other god, this means singing (ghinaa)." And he repeated it three times. [Tafsir al-Tabari (20/127) and Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (4/368) No. 21130]

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما (ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث) (لقمان: 6) قال: الغناء وأشباهه

Ibn 'Abbas said about "And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks" (Luqman 31:6) that it means singing and things like it. [al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari (pg. 421) No. 786 and al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Bayhaqi (10/377) No. 21004]

وقال الحسن البصري: أنزلت هذه الآية: {ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله بغير علم} في الغناء والمزامير
al-Hasan al-Basri said: this ayah: 'And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge...' (Luqman 31:6) was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments (lit. woodwind instruments). [Tafsir Ibn Kathir (6/331)]

Ibn al-Qayyim (rh) said: With regard to the view of Imam Ahmad, his son ‘Abdullah said: 'I asked my father about singing. He said: "Singing makes hypocrisy grow in the heart; I do not like it." Then he mentioned the words of Malik: "the evildoers (fasiqs) among us do that." [Ighathat al-Lahfan min Masayid al-Shaytan (1/229)]
Ibn al-Qayyim (rh) said: "The madhhab of Abu Haneefah is the strictest in this regard, and his comments are among the harshest. His companions clearly stated that it is haraam to listen to all musical instruments such as the flute and the drum, even tapping a stick. They stated that it is a sin which implies that a person is a faasiq (rebellious evil doer) whose testimony should be rejected. They went further than that and said that listening to music is fisq (rebellion, evildoing) and enjoying it is kufr (disbelief). This is their words. They narrated in support of that a hadeeth which could not be attributed to the Prophet (SAW). They said: he should try not to hear it if he passes by it or it is in his vicinity. Abu Yusuf said, concerning a house from which could be heard the sound of musical instruments: Go in without their permission, because forbidding evil actions is obligatory, and if it were not allowed to enter without permission, people could not have fulfilled the obligatory duty (of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil)." [Ighathat al-Lahfan min Masayid al-Shaytan (1/227)]

Ibn Qudamah (rh) said: "Musical instruments are of three types which are haraam. These are the strings and all kinds of flute, and the lute, drum and rabaab (stringed instrument) and so on. Whoever persists in listening to them, his testimony should be rejected. [al-Mughni (10/153)]

Ibn al-Qayyim (rh) said: "I am amazed that you quote as evidence for allowing listening to sophisticated songs the report which we mentioned about how two young girls who were below the age of puberty sang to a young woman on the day of Eid some verses of Arab poetry about bravery in war and other noble characteristics. How can you compare this to that? What is strange is that this hadeeth is one of the strongest proofs against them. The greatest speaker of the truth [Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq] called them musical instruments of the Shaytan, and the Messenger of Allah (SAW) approved of that appellation, but he made an exception in the case of these two young girls who had not yet reached the age of responsibility and the words of whose songs could not corrupt anyone who listened to them. Can this be used as evidence to allow what you do and what you know of listening (to music) which includes (bad) things which are not hidden?! Subhan Allah! How people can be led astray!" [Madarij al-Salikeen (1/491)]

Al-Hafiz ibn Hajar (rh) said: A group of the Sufis used this hadeeth – the hadeeth about the two young girls – as evidence that singing is allowed and it is allowed to listen to it, whether it is accompanied by instruments or not. This view is sufficiently refuted by the clear statement of ‘A’ishah in the following hadeeth, where she says, “They were not singers.” She made it clear that they were not singers as such, although this may be understood from the wording of the report. So we should limit it to what was narrated in the text as regards the occasion and the manner, so as to reduce the risk of going against the principle, i.e., the hadeeth. And Allah knows best. [Fath al-Bari (2/442-443)]

Narrated By Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari: That he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection." [Sahih Bukhari (7/106) No. 5590]

-this is why it is disliked for you to go into rooms without a shaikh
-a room in paltalk rejected surah 2:106
-said that no verse was abrogated in the Quran
-they make up their own religion

Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things? (Al-Baqarah 2:106)

But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. (Al-Mu'minun 23:53)

On the authority of Abu Abdur Rahman as-Sullami, who said: 'Ali (RA) entered upon a Qadi (judge) and asked him: "Do you know the abrogated evidences (i.e. an-Naasikh wal mansookh)?" The man said: "No." Ali said to him: "You are destroyed and you are seeking to destroy others."' Will a person who loves Allah enter Hell? There are many kuffaar such as Jews and Christians who love Allah, and similarly there are immoral Muslims who love Allah. They would never say that they hate their Lord. Can you clarify this matter?

-Jews and Christians do not love Allah
-Jews say that Allah is poor

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilah (God - Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)[]. Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)." (At-Tawbah 9:31)

-why do they take their rabbis and priests for lords?
-the Jews say Jesus was a bastard child

-the Christians love the Jews
-they do not love Jesus
-their love is fake and they are hypocrites
-they love their evil and corrupted desires
-that is why they have gay churches
-Muslims who love Allah will come out of hellfire with shafa’a

Sheikh, could you please explain when the female sahabah did ribaat. Was this during the time of the prophet (saw)?

-the ribaat was done in the conquest of As-sham
-a woman (Saffia- the aunt of the rasul (saw) killed a Jewish infiltrator)
-a Muslim brother (Hassan Ibn Thabit) was afraid to kill the Jew
-so she went and killed him herself
-women can do ribaat with the permission of the ameer

Assalamu alaikum sheikh, can you explain what sincerity is and how can we be sincere to Allah s.w.t

-this has been covered in a lecture
-it is when you are true to your claim
-you practice what you preach
-you claim to be a Muslim and you live like a Muslim
