~ A Dialogue with a Murji ~ Part 1 ~

The fitnah of Irja' has afflicted the entire world.
- The person who is a Murji, postpones judgement on a person.
- He says; " I leave it to Allah, I will not make takfir on a person"
- he refuses to make takfir even when the text is clear
- this is dangerous ideology;
- you are going to allow kuffaar and munafiqeen to;
- marry your women,
- be prayed over,
- join the armies of the Muslims

It is a toxic ideology.
- The Islamic Creed hasn't been taught to the Muslims..

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas and Jabir bin Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'There are two types among my Ummah who have no share of Islam: the people of Irja' and the people of Qadar.'” (Daif) : Sunan Ibn Majah : Chapter no: 1, The Book of the Sunnah Hadees: Hadith no: 73

- Irja means to postpone judgement on a person,
- even when the text is clear.

It is important that you make takfir on the kaafir,
- if you incorporate him inside the fold of Islam,
- he will marry your women.
- The man who was involved in killing Anwar Al-Awlaqi
- bragged and boasted about this
- he lived in Yemen, and was married to a Muslim woman and had 3 children.

The Danish police asked him why he ordered pork at the restaurant.
- He said indeed he wasn't a Muslim.

- The people were murji, so no takfir was made on him.
- This man slipped through the net.

- Another example:
- How did the Muslims allow a fire-worshipper to enter into Madinah and kill Umar
- and 13 other Muslims at fajr time.

Shaikh asked another Shaikh, how this was possible;
- the answer was - he was pretending to be a Muslim.

The second Caliph was killed by a munafiq.

The other meaning of Irja = to give hope.
- the hope they give is false hope:
- They give false hope to four people:

- The fasiqeen, the kuffaar, the munafiqeen, and the murtadeen.
The sinners, the dis-believers, the hypocrites, and the apostates.

Irja, means to give false hope and to postpone judgement.
- Claiming " Who am I to judge"?

HOW DID THE MURJI GO ASTRAY?

- they went astray because they misunderstand what Eman is.
- They don't have a clue what Eman is.

- Their definition of Eman is = It is awareness in the heart.
- all you need to be a Muslim is awareness.

- If we say: "Eman is to believe in our heart"
- The second definition of Eman is = to believe in your heart.
This means that we include the Firawn of Egypt inside the fold of Islam

And they belied them (those Ayāt) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayāt) are from Allah, and Mûsa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allah in truth, but they disliked to obey Mûsa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidûn (disbelievers, disobedient to Allah, evil-doers, liars.). (An-Naml 27:14)


Eeman has to be more than just belief in the heart
- because the firawn believed in his heart.

The third definition of Eman according to the Murji is:
- Eman is the mere declaration with the tongue.
- If we follow this definition, this means we have to include the shaytan in the fold of Islam.

 Allah Said:

 [Iblīs (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." (Al-Hijr 15:36)

The shaytan declared that he believed in Allah,
- That Allah is the Rabb,
- In resurrection,
- in life after death,
- in spite of this shaytan is a kaafir.

The fourth definition of Eman according to the Murji is:
- Eman is conviction of the heart and declaration with the tongue.

What is the problem with this definition?
- The problem is that they didn't include implementation with the limbs (actions).

There is only one legitimate definition of Eman:
- It is the definition of Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaah

- EEMAN IS CONVICTION OF THE HEART, DECLARATION OF THE TONGUE, AND IMPLEMENTATION WITH THE LIMBS.

Eeman is Heart, Tongue and Limbs.

Those who marginalise eeman to declaration with the tongue;
- have included all the munafiqoon inside the fold of Islam.

Allah Said: 63:1

When the hypocrites come to you (O Muhammad SAW), they say: "We bear witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allah." Allah knows that you are indeed His Messenger and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are liars indeed. (Al-Munafiqun 63:1)

Allah throws back the shahadah to the munafiq,
- and refuses to accept it.

- this is the dominant ideology in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
- if you make takfir on a man for black magic,
- he says you can't make takfir on him, because he has recited his shahadah.
- because nobody taught him the crucial topic;
- Nawaaqid Al Islam  = Nullifiers of Islam.

If you do black magic you have nullified the shahadah.

He is dabbling in black magic and he believes in democracy and he thinks he is a Muslim.
- Shaikh was in South Africa;
- Kufr in perspective",
- some of the people were crying,
- because they realised that they had kuffaar in their families.

- There are Tablighis,
- They don't teach what Islam is nor what Kufr is.

- But the Tablighis accept the hujjah when you give it to them;
- unlike the Saudi Salafis.

- We have various types of murjia' in the Ummah.
- The Tablighi Jemaah.

- When Shaikh was a teenager he travelled with them a lot.
- when you are with them for the 40 days in the masjid;
- they say to you "don't call the kaffir a kaffir because you don't know what is in his heart"
 - they are the worst of murji'

- Umar Said: Revelation doesn't come down any more, therefore we judge you by your external actions:

Narrated By 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favor the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good. [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 48, Hadith #809]

- This ideology is toxic.
- The Tablighi Jemaah need to know this saying.
- Umar said, we leave the heart to Allah, but we judge you on your actions.
- If we see you bowing to idols we will make takfir on you.

- They like to say: "Don't talk politics in the Masjid".
- But "Laa ilaha ila Allah" is the highest of politics.
- When the king killed the people of the ditch,
- it was because of their belief in Allah Alone.

They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! (Al-Buruj 85:8)

When you open your mouth and say "Laa ilaha ila Allah" ;
- This means you reject the taghout and believe in Allah alone.
- This is the highest of politics.

- "Laa ilaha ila Allah" is split into two parts.
- Negation and affirmation.

- "Laa ilaha = negation.
- ila Allah" = affirmation.

- The problem today is that everyone is teaching people to believe in Allah,
- But nobody is teaching people to reject the taghoot.
- You have to reject the taghoot and isms and schisms.
- And then believe in Allah.

- THE SAUDI SALAFIS.

- they pride themselves on hadith, and they call themselves "Ahlul Hadith".
- They have made up their own religion.
- It has nothing to do with what Muhammad has brought.

- the foundation of the Saudi Salafi religion is "kufr duna kufr"
- To dismantle the shariah of Muhammad is minor kufr.

This hadith "kufr duna kufr" is weak.
- If Ibn Abaas made this statement,
- the scholars can't make up their minds on who said it;
- Some say Ibn Abbas, some say Taawoos said it.

Some say Ibn Abbas said it during the caliphate of Ali.
- Ali was one of the four rightly guided caliphs.
- During his caliphate the shariah was never dismantled;
The shariah was not the subject.

The subject was the fitnah of Ali and Muawiyah,
- at the Battle of Siffin
- a Saudi Salafi is so evil that he puts a spin on the saying of Ibn Abbas.
- Their ideology is toxic.
- They prey upon new reverts who don't know anything about Islam;
- They are called "unsuspecting Muslims"

Ibn Taymiyyah said: If you dismantle the Shariah of Muhammad you become a kaafir.

Ibn Taymiyyah (rh) said: “And it is known from the religion (of Islam) by necessity and by the consensus of all Muslims that whoever legalizes to follow other than the religion of Islam or a Shariah other than the Shariah of Muhammad (saws), he is a Kaafir. And his kufr is similar to that of the one who believes in some part of the book (Quran) and reject some of it.” [Majmua al-Fataawa (28/524)]

Ibn Kathir: Al Bidayya wan-Nihayya:

Ibn Kathir (rh) said: “So Whosoever abandons the wise Shariah which was revealed upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the seal of the prophets, and goes to other abrogated Shariah for judgment, he becomes a Kaafir. So how about the one who goes to al-Yaasiq (man-made law) for judgment and gives it precedence (over the Shariah of Muhammad (saws). Whosoever does this has become a Kaafir by the Ijma of the Muslims.” [Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah, (Vol. 13, p119)]

They quote from Ibn Kathir and Ibn Taymiyyah,
-  Yet they have this dodgy ideology.

The Saudi Salafis say that you cannot make takfir on a ruler:
- unless he legitimizes his kufr

Check mate:
- If a ruler goes to a brother he is not a kaafir;
- But if a ruler signs paper for brothels, then he is a kaafir.

Bin Baaz said about the one who dismantles the Shariah:

Shaikh 'Abdul-'Azeez Ibn 'Abdullah Ibn Baaz said: "There is no Eeman for the one who believes the laws of the people and their opinions are superior to the Hukm of Allah and His Messenger or that they are equal to it or that they resemble it or who leaves it or replaces it with fabricated laws and institutions invented by people, even if he believes that the laws of Allah are more encompassing and more just." [Wujoob Tah'keem Shari'ah Allah' (pg. 16-17)]

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728H):
“Whenever a person makes halal what is haraam by consensus or makes haraam what is halal by consensus or replaces the Sharee’ah that is agreed upon by consensus, then he is a Kaffir by the agreement of the scholars of Fiqh.” – “Al-Fataawa”, Vol. 3/267

Shinqeiti said:
While 'Allama al-Shinqiti-May Allah be merciful with him-has said: To commit shirk with Allah in judging is of the same meaning as to commit shirk in His worship, there is no difference between the two in any manner. There is no difference in any sense between he who follows a system (nizam) other than Allah's system or law other than Allah's law (sharia) and he who worships an idol or prostrates to a false god. They are the same and both are polytheists [associating others] with Allah. [Adwa' al-Bayan, (7/162)]
 Muhammad Ibrahim [the shaikh of bin Baaz] said in page 6 of his book Tahkeem al Qawaneen:
"Tawheed haakimiyya is the twin half of tawheed Ibaada."

- Bin Baaz and Shinqiti belong to our generation.
- The Saudi Salafis say that to wear your trousers above the ankle is a major issue;
- but "forget about the shariah, think about yourself".

Allah said: 

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Tāghût (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell­fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Al-Ma'idah 5:60)

... Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kāfirûn (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah’s Laws). (Al-Ma'idah 5:44)

To the Saudi Salafis:

 "You are insinuating that when Allah turned the Jews into apes and swine, He was over-reacting".

- They say this ayah was only for the Jews:
- They are saying that to dismantle the Shariah of Moses is kufr,
- But to dismantle the Shariah of Muhammad is not kufr.
- They are insulting the Prophet (saws)

IRJAA' IS THE RELIGION OF KINGS AND TAWAGHEET.

- because the callers to irjaa use their ideology to cement the thrones of the apostate leaders.
- The kings and tawagheet fund these movements.
- (Saudi Salafis, and goofi soofis.)

Quboor is condemned but not Qusoor (because it’s all about money)

They condemn the shirk of "Quboor" ( the graves), 
but they don't condemn the shirk of "Qusoor" ( the palaces).

- They pick and choose which shirk to condemn, because they are major hypocrites.
- The pay cheque comes from the Qusoor.
-  It's all about the “Benjamin” (US dollar bill)

 In their endeavor, they slander the prophets of Allah.

- They slander prophet Yusuf,
- They say when Yusuf was in Egypt he worked for a kaafir king,
- so when we support our kaafir king, we aren't doing anything wrong.
- When Yusuf (as) was in Egypt;
- The golden bowl of the king was found in the bag of Binyamin, Yusuf's brother.
- The king allowed Yusuf to judge Binyamin with the shariah of Ibrahim


They slander the prophet Muhammad (pbuh)


- When we debated Saudi Salafis;
- we said its haraam to join the U.N

- not even he is saved from the tongue of the Saudi Salafi.
- They said when Muhammad signed the treaty of Hudaybiya,
- he did the same thing.
- So when our kings do the same thing, they are not doing anything haraam.
- They are leading the jaahil Muslims with them, like lambs to the slaughter.

To prove to you that Albani was a leader of Irja,
- he passed a fatwa saying:

- those who insult Muhammad are not kuffaar, they are only ill-mannered, due to bad upbringing....
- his ideology was toxic,
- he led astray many jahil Muslims.


Al-Albani: (We don’t think this accurate is in absolute sense, because it is possible that this insult (sabb) or reviling (satam) is the result of ignorance, bad upbringing, negligence, And lastly it could be with intent and knowledge, and in that case, it is a clear apostasy, of which there's no doubt. But if it carries either of the former situations which I pointed at. Then it's best Islamic to refrain from takfir than to rush towards it.)Source: Silsilat al-Huda wa al-Nur, tape nr. 820, min. 46:03).


Albani said if you insult Allah you are not a kaafir.
 - The Ulema said if you don't make takfir on those who insult Muhammad
 - you become a kaafir yourself.

 When Shaikh was studying in Saudi Arabia,
 - Albani wasn't considered as anything special.
 - Only when Shaikh came to the west,
 - he saw a lot of reverts worshipping Albani.

Albani said:  if you dismantle the Shariah of Muhammad, you're not a kaafir.
- He went against all the above fatwas.
- if you are jahil and you don't know about Islam, you will think Albani is a saint.
- Albani gave the excuse of ignorance for insulting Muhammad (saws)
- you cannot give the excuse of ignorance to those who insult Allah (SWT) or Muhammad (SAWS)

THE EXCUSE OF IGNORANCE: UDHR BI-JAHL

You cannot give the excuse of ignorance to those who insult Allah or Muhammad.

On Shaikh's Nigerian tour he met many people who believe;
- that Albani was never a Muslim. 


-HADITH: If Allah wants good for you, He gives you proper
- this is clear that Allah Does not love them (the murjia nor Want good for them, 
- if He did He (swt) would give them proper understanding of the deen. 


Narrated Muawiya: I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." [al-Bukhari (71) and Muslim (1037)]

IRJA IS THE PREDOMINANT IDEOLOGY IN THE MUSLIM WORLD TODAY
- we call it ideology because it is false
- had it been authentic we would call it aqeedah

Irja is the religion of the kings and the tawagheet
- anyone who preaches irja is funded by the kings and tawagheet.
- these people who preach Irja as a religion;
- do so because they love the dunya

Allah said:

Nay, you prefer the life of this world; (Al-A'la 87:16)

Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (Al-A'la 87:17)

- They adopted that ideology because they hope to get a salary from the apostate regimes.
- They are very quick to label people khawaarij, terrorists and fundamentalists.
- whenever you call for;
- jihad, al walaa wal baraa, shariah
- kufr bit-taghoot, khilafah
- They write books about you.
- Shaikh's, Anwar Al Awlaki and Osama bin Laden are all mentioned in their books.
- You are preaching to topple their kaafir pay-masters.

Fawzan passed a fatwa:
- saying the greatest jihad is to kill the Mujahideen

The most important characteristic of the khawarij is that they kill the Muslims and leave the kuffaar alone.
- How can you call the mujahideen khawarij?
- They are fighting to liberate the lands of the Muslims, and defend the Muslim blood.

You, the Saudi Salafi, should look in the mirror you will see a real khawarij

A fatwa passed said: The mujahideen are on the manhaj of the shaytan

Allah Said:

Nay, you prefer the life of this world; (Al-A'la 87:16)
Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (Al-A'la 87:17)

They say Tawheed Hakimiyyah is not a principle of the deen.
- It is not the classification they have the problem with,
- they have a problem with the tawheed itself
- they say it is a biddah
- they lead astray un suspecting Muslims,
- those who know nothing about their religion.
- They say to forget about knowing the current affairs of the Ummah.

One of Allah's 99 Names is: Al Hakam = The Only Judge.
- This means only Allah can Legislate,
- because humans can be judges.

SLIDING AND HIDING:
- they slide tawheed Hakimiyyah,
- under tawheed Rubbubiyyah.
- claiming that both tawheed mean the same thing.

Allah Said:

[Iblīs (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." (Al-Hijr 15:36)

We say to them:
- when you do this, you have included the shaytan inside the fold of Islam

Shaytan believes in these four things;
- That Allah is His Only Lord,
- Man and Jinn will die,
- There is a Judgement day,
- In life after death.

- The shaytan declared in Al-Hijr 15:36;
- shaytan declared that Allah is His Only Lord.
- So when you slide and hide, you are making the shaytan a Muslim.

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Fatihah 1:2)

The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (Al-Fatihah 1:3)

The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). (Al-Fatihah 1:4)

You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything). (Al-Fatihah 1:5)

Allah mentioned the four Tawheeds in many Surahs of the Quran.

Tawheed in ayat al Kursi 2:255

Allah! Lā ilāha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursī.] (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

Allah! Lā ilāha illa Huwa = Tawheed Ibaadah
Al Hayy Al Qayyum = Tawheed Asmaa was-siffat.
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth = Tawheed Rubbubiyah
Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? = Tawheed Hakimiyyah

When Prophet Yusuf was in prison;
- he taught the inmates four tawheeds

"O two companions of the prison! Are many different lords (gods) better or Allah, the One, the Irresistible? (Yusuf 12:39)

"You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged), you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism), that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not. (Yusuf 12:40)

- Yusuf 12:39 = Rubbubiyyah
- Yusuf 12:40 You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged), you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authorityTawheed Asmaa was-siffat.

- He was rebuking them about the names they were using to describe Allah.

- Yusuf 12:40 The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allah = Tawheed Haakimiyyah
- Yusuf 12:40 He has commanded that you worship none but Him = Tawheed Ibaadah

Before Ibn Taymiyyah nobody talked about Tawheed Asma' was-Siffat
- Why don't you scream "biddah, biddah"?

He introduced it to fight the fitnah of the Mu'tazila.
- Every era has its fitnah
- The Mutazila deny Allah's Names and Attributes.

EVERY ERA HAS ITS OWN FITNAA:

1)       In the time of the Prophet (saws) the fitnah was Lat, Uzza, Hubal, Manat

2)       In the time of Abu Bakr the fitnah was: those who wouldn't pay Zakat.

3)       Another fitnah was Mu’saylima, the false prophet.

4)       The fitnaah of Uthman was Abdullah ibn Saba (founder of Shiites)
- he emerged in the caliphate of Uthman, and incited the people against Uthman.

5)       In the time of Ali,  the fitnah was the Khawaarij
-he fought them and killed them at the Battle of Nahruwaan

6)       In the time of Ahmad ibn Hanbal the fitnah was the Mu’tazila, Ma'moon

- they said the Quran was created.
- The caliph was Ma'moon.
- Ahmad Ibn Hanbal single-handedly fought them
- because of this he was titled, “The Imam of ASWJ”

7)       In the time of Ibn Taymiyyah there was the fitnah of the Jahmiyyah.
- They denied Allah's Names and Attributes
- In the time of Ibn Taymiyyah there was the fitnah of the Jahmiyyah and the Mu’tazila
- They denied Allah's Names and Attributes
- The Jahmiyyah said Allah could not speak.

'Abdur-Rahmaan Ibn Muhammad Ibn Habeeb Ibn Abee Habeeb on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather [who] said: I witnessed Khaalid Ibn 'Abdullah Al-Qasree - and he addressed them at Waasit - "Oh People, make sacrifice, may Allah accept it from you. Verily I am sacrificing Al-Ja'd Ibn Dirham, for indeed he claims that Allah did not take Ibrahim as a khaleel (close friend), and [that] He did not speak to Moosa. Most Perfect is He and exalted is He from what Al-Ja'd says." Then he descended and slaughtered him. I say: And the Jahmiyyah and Mu'tazilah speak with this, and they distort the text of the revelation regarding that, and they claim that the Lord is purified of that (i.e. having spoken to Moses and taken Ibrahim as a khalil). [Mukhtasar al-Uluww of adh-Dhahabi, (p.134)]

Ibn Taymiyyah brought about the classification of Tawheed Asma was-Siffat.
- To fight their ideology.

- Muhammad Ibraheem the teacher of Bin Baaz brought the classification of Tawheed Al Haakimiyyah.

Muhammad Ibrahim [the shaikh of bin Baaz] said in page 6 of his book Tahkeem al Qawaneen:  

"Tawheed haakimiyya is the twin half of tawheed Ibaada."

Because the shariah was not being implemented.
- You are not allowed to scream "bidah"..
- Your (the Saudi Salafis) argument of kufr duna kufr is weak.
- You said Ibn Abbas said it, at the time of Ali,
- Yet Ali didn't dismantle the shariah,
- therefore the shariah was not the subject,
- the subject was the Battle of Siffin

THE EXCUSE OF IGNORANCE

The Murji claim that we are allowed to give the excuse of ignorance to people who are JAHILL

On the authority of Qataada who said: “A woman slept with her male servant and cited an ayah of the Holy Qur'an as her evidence for her action. ‘…or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess…’ (An-Nur 24:31). This woman was brought to Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) by a group of Sahabas who complained to Umar that she misinterpreted a verse from the Holy Qur’an and slept with her male servant. Umar commanded that the male servant should be sent away for a year and he was beheaded. He then said to the woman you are now haram for all Muslims.” [Tafseer al-Tabari (9/586) No. 11277]

We ask you to bring us the evidence;
- that a person who worships a false deity is still a Muslim.
- The above is the evidence they bring.
- You can use this evidence to trick a new Muslim.
- But not a Muslim who has been in the deen for years.
- This is evidence about zina
- the woman committed zina, she didn't worship a false deity.

When you debate with a Saudi Salafi,
- expect them to bring this evidence.
- They think you are stupid, and they can pull the wool over your eyes.
- or they bring another evidence that when Umar was caliph;
- some people drank alcohol because they didn't know better,
- again these people didn't worship false deities.

BEWARE OF THE WICKED SCHOLARS:

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." [Musnad Ahmad (5/145) No. 21334 and 21335]

- these people are khawarij with the Muslims
- and they are Murji with the leaders.

When 'Ali was in Yemen, he sent some gold in its ore to the Prophet. The Prophet distributed it among Al-Aqra' bin Habis Al-Hanzali who belonged to Bani Mujashi, 'Uyaina bin Badr Al-Fazari, 'Alqama bin 'Ulatha Al-'Amiri, who belonged to the Bani Kilab tribe and Zaid AI-Khail At-Ta'i who belonged to Bani Nabhan. So the Quraish and the Ansar became angry and said, "He gives to the chiefs of Najd and leaves us!" The Prophet said, "I just wanted to attract and unite their hearts (make them firm in Islam)." Then there came a man with sunken eyes, bulging forehead, thick beard, fat raised cheeks, and clean-shaven head, and said, "O Muhammad! Be afraid of Allah! " The Prophet said, "Who would obey Allah if I disobeyed Him? (Allah). He trusts me over the people of the earth, but you do not trust me?" A man from the people (present then), who, I think, was Khalid bin Al-Walid, asked for permission to kill him, but the Prophet prevented him. When the man went away, the Prophet said, "Out of the offspring of this man, there will be people who will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out through the game, and they will kill the Muslims and leave the idolators. Should I live till they appear, I would kill them as the Killing of the nation of 'Ad."  (Bukhari Book #93, Hadith #527)


- they are also Jabriyya with the tyrants;
- they say "leave the tyrants in power, because it is Allah's Will for them to be in power.
- When they come face to face with a scholar; they become Mutazila, they use their aql
- because they cannot use the text.

Hadith to use to CHECK-MATE a Murji:

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” [Sahih Muslim (Vol. 1, pg. 191) No. 203]

- The prophet's father died without hearing about the Quran and Islam.
- Yet the prophet said:  “My father and your father are in Hell.”

Another evidence used by the scholars to prove that a man is a Mushrik before the evidence is shown to them:

Allah Said:

Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Al-Mushrikûn, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. (Al-Baiyinah 98:1)

The Murji believe that a man who worships false deities is a Muslim because he didn't know better.

Allah is pronouncing them dis-believers before the evidence came to them..

Those who disbelieve ....... were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence .. (98:1)

We bring you Quran and Sunnah, the text (naql).
- But the Murji bring the intellect (the aql).

A Mushrik cannot be a Muslim, it is clear in the hadith:

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” [Sahih Muslim (Vol. 1, pg. 191) No. 203]

Your argument about the excuse of ignorance doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

- At the treaty of Hudaybiyah, they sent Suhail ibn Amr to negotiate with the Muslims.
- When the prophet put on the paper;
- "Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem"
- he said, “We do not know about these gods, Rahman, Raheem
- We only know about one God”
-they had been taught about One God by Ibrahim (as).

"...Suhail said to the Prophet "Please conclude a peace treaty with us." So, the Prophet called the clerk and said to him, "Write: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 'Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem' (In the Name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful)." Suhail said, "As for الرَّحْمَنِ 'ar-Rahman (Beneficent), by Allah, I do not know what it means. So write: بِاسْمِكَ اللهُمَّ 'Bismika Allahumma' (By Your Name O Allah)..." [al-Bukhari (2731) and Muslim (1784)]

Allah said: 29:65

And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only, but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others. (Al-'Ankabut 29:65)

- When they were about to die because the ship was about to sink,
- they called on Allah Alone.
- they knew a piece of stone or wood would not save them from calamity, which was imminent
- so they went back to their ‘natural instincts’

**If you call someone “Khawarijj,” its compulsory on you to debate and disgrace them**

- Shaikh studied tawheed under Abdul Rahman Al Barak,
- the leading scholar on tawheed.
- We would like to see a man come and debate Shaikh on tawheed.
- When the khawaarij emerged in the time of Ali;
- he sent Ibn Abbas to debate and disgrace them.
- So you who call Shaikh Khawarij, come forward and debate!...
- You cannot come forward, so you are a slanderer, backbiter
- They make it halal to join the kaafir army, saying it is just a job,

We say to them, Allah said: 4:76

Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Tāghût (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitān (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitān (Satan). (An-Nisa 4:76)

Ibn ‘Abbas narrated: When the Hurooreeyah (Khawarij) rebelled, they isolated themselves in a place. There were 6000 of them and they were united in rebelling against ‘Alee. Continuously people would come to ‘Alee and say: O Ameer ul-Mu’mineen! Verily these people are rebelling against you. He said: ‘Leave them, verily I will not fight them until they fight me and [they will fight me] that’s what they will do.’ So when it came to that day, I came to ‘Alee before the Zuhr prayer and I said to him: ‘O Ameer ul-Mu’mineen! Delay the prayer until it is cooler perhaps I will speak to these people. He said: ‘Verily, I fear for you.’ I said: 'Never! I used to be known as a man of good manners, I never harmed anyone.' He gave me permission to go.

Full hadith:

So, I gave salaams to them and they said, ‘Welcome O Son of Abbas! And what is this cloak you are wearing?’ I said, ‘what deficiency do you see from me? Indeed, I saw the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) dressed in the best of what you can find in Yemeni clothing, then I recited this verse [Soorah Al-A’raf :32] Then they said, ‘What has brought you here?’ I said to them, ‘I have come to you from amongst the Companions of the Prophet (SAW) the Muhaajiroon and the Ansaar and from the son of the uncle of the Prophet (SAW) (‘Alee), who is his son-in-law – and upon them descended the Qur’aan; and they are more knowledgeable about it than you and there is not one of them amongst you. I have come to convey to you what they say, and to convey to them, what you say. A group amongst them said, ‘Do not debate with the Quraysh because verily Allaah, Azza wa Jaal, says [Soorah az-Zukhruf :58],’ Then a group of them turned towards me and two or three of them said: ‘Verily, we will speak to him.’ So I said, ‘come forward, what is the grudge you have against the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah – and the son of his uncle (‘Alee).’ They said ‘three points’. I said, ‘And what are they?’ They said: ‘Then one of the points is that he (‘Alee) had men judge in a matter of Allaah whilst Allaah said [Soorah an-Anaam : 57 and Soorah Yusuf : 40 & 67] What have men got to do with the Hukm?' I said, ‘This is one point.’ They said, ‘As for the second point; then he fought and he did not take captives nor did he take the war booty, if they were Kuffaar, then their captives are permissible for us and if they were believers then their captives are not permissible to take nor was it allowed to fight them.’ I said, ‘This is the second point, and what is the third point?’ Or he said something similar. They said: ‘He should remove the title of Ameer ul-Mu’mineen and if he is not the Ameer ul-Mu’mineen then he is the Ameer ul-Kaafireen.’ I said, ‘Do you have any points other than this?’ They said: ‘This is sufficient for us.’ I said to them: ‘Do you understand, that if I read to you from the Book of Allaah, Jalla wa thanaa’ahu, and from the Sunnah of His Prophet (SAW) that which refutes what you say; will you return (back)?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ I said: “As for your statement That ‘Alee had men judge in a matter that was for Allaah; then I will read to you from the Book of Allaah, where Allaah has delegated His Hukm to men regarding the eighth of a quarter of a dirham. Allaah, Tabaraka wa Ta'aala, commanded the people to judge in this matter. Do you not understand the saying of Allaah, Tabaraka wa Ta'aala: O you who believe, do not kill the game while you are in a state of ihram, and whosoever of you kills it intentionally, then the penalty is an offering equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you. [Soorah al-Ma’idah : 95] And it is from the Hukm of Allaah that He delegated men to judge in this matter, if Allaah willed, He could have judged in this matter, but He allowed men to judge. I ask you, for the sake of Allaah! Are men judging in reconciling in disputes and in preventing bloodshed or judging regarding hunting a rabbit better?” They said: ‘Of course, this is better.’ ‘And regarding a woman and her husband: < If you fear a breach between the husband and wife, appoint two arbitrators, one from his family and the other from hers > [Soorah an-Nisa : 35] Is not men judging in reconciling disputes and in the prevention of bloodshed better than men judging regarding the private parts of a woman? Have we finished with this point?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘As for your statement, He fought but did not take captives and did not take war booty, then would you take your mother, Aa’ishah, as a captive, making her permissible for yourselves for that which you make permissible from other than her whilst she is your mother? If you say: “We make Halaal from her that which we make Halaal from other than her,” then you have made/committed Kufr. And if you say that, “she is not our mother,” then you have also made Kufr: [Soorah al-Ahzab : 6] and so you are between the two ill judgments. So, which of them do you want to take? Have we finished with this point?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ ‘As for ‘Alee removing the title of Ameer ul-Mu’mineen, then I will give you something that will please you: Verily, the Prophet of Allaah – made an agreement/contract with the Mushrikeen on the Day of Hudaybeeyah, and the Prophet (SAW) said to ‘Alee: “Write, O ‘Alee! This is what Muhammad, the Messenger of Allaah, (SAW) agrees with.” They, the Mushrikeen, said, “If we knew you to be the Messenger of Allaah, we would not have fought you.” So, the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) said: ‘Erase it, O ‘Alee! O Allaah, Indeed You know that I am the Messenger of Allaah, erase it O ‘Alee! And write this, “This is what Muhammad ibn Abdullaah (SAW) makes an agreement/contract upon.”’I swear by Allaah, that the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) is better than ‘Alee and even he erased his own name and erasing his name does not erase his Prophet hood. Have we finished with this point?’ They said: ‘Yes.’ ‘2000 of them came back while the rest of them rebelled and fought, based upon their misguidance, and the Muhaajiroon and Ansaar fought them.[Narrated by Abdur-Razzaq in his book ‘al-Musannaf’(18678), Ahmad (1/243), al-Haakim (2/150-152), Ibn Abdul Barr in his Jama' Bayaan Uloom (2/962-964/ 1834), ad-Darmi in his 'Sunnan' (1/68-69) & by Bahshal in 'Tareekh Wasit' this narration is reported on the authority of 'Amr bin Salma, It has been narrated by Abdullaah bin Ahmad in 'Zawaid az-Zuhud' (p.428) & by Abu Na'eem in 'Hileeyat al-Awwleeyah' (4/380-381). Also by Tabraani in 'Kabeer' (9/125-126), Al-Haythamee narrated it in 'Mua'jam az-Zawaid' (1/181)]

**The only army you can join is the Mujahideen**

If you join any other army, and you fight and die;

- They use the argument of Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah;

- The Prophet (saws) was told by super-natural means that the letter was being sent.
- He sent Ali to retrieve the letter.
- Umar asked for permission to chop off his head.

Narrated By 'Ubaidullah bin Abi Rafi: I heard 'Ali saying, "...Allah's Apostle, said, "Hatib has told you the truth." Umar said, O Allah's Apostle! Allow me to chop off the head of this hypocrite." Allah's Apostle said, "Hatib participated in the battle of Badr, and who knows, perhaps Allah has already looked at the Badr warriors and said, 'Do whatever you like, for I have forgiven you." [al-Bukhari (3007) and Muslim (2494)]

Imaam Ibn Taymiya stated in ‘Majmoo’ il Fataawa’ Vol 3, 283-284: “If a Muslim is incorrect in his understanding about killing (a Muslim) or making takfir, then he does not become a disbeliever because of that, this is like when Umar Ibn al Khattaab said about Haatib ibn Abi Balta’, “O Rasoolullaah! Allow me to behead this hypocrite!” Rasoolullaah replied, “Indeed, he is one who witnessed Badr. And you do not know if Allaah has looked towards the people of Badr and said to them ” Do as you like, for you have been forgiven. “ And this [hadeeth] in found in the two Saheeh collections. [al-Bukhari (3007) and Muslim (2494)]

We said, "Take out the letter, or else we will take off your clothes." So she took it out of her braid, and we brought the letter to Allah's Apostle. The letter was addressed from Hatib, bin Abi Balta'a to some pagans of Mecca, telling them about what Allah's Apostle intended to do. Allah's Apostle said, "O Hatib! What is this?" Hatib replied, "O Allah's Apostle! Do not make a hasty decision about me. I was a person not belonging to Quraish but I was an ally to them from outside and had no blood relation with them, and all the Emigrants who were with you, have got their kinsmen (in Mecca) who can protect their families and prop

Take not my enemies And your enemies as friends offering them (Your) love even though they have disbelieved in that Truth (i.e. Allah, Prophet Muhammad and this Quran) which has come to you... (to the end of Verse)... (And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray (away) from the Straight Path." "O you who believe! Take not my enemies And your enemies as friends offering them (Your) love even though they have disbelieved in that Truth (i.e. Allah, Prophet Muhammad and this Quran) which has come to you... (to the end of Verse)... (And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray (away) from the Straight Path." (60.1) [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 59, Hadith #572]

Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah thought that he would ingratiate himself with the Quraysh.
- because he was from a poor tribe, and he thought his family would be protected.


The Saudi Salafis use the mistakes of the companions as their hujjah.

- Allah Said: 60:1

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists, etc.) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth (i.e. Islāmic Monotheism, this Qur’an, and Muhammad SAW), and have driven out the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) and yourselves (from your homeland) because you believe in Allah your Lord! If you have come forth to strive in My Cause and to seek My Good Pleasure, (then take not these disbelievers and polytheists, etc., as your friends). You show friendship to them in secret, while I am All-Aware of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whosoever of you (Muslims) does that, then indeed he has gone (far) astray, (away) from the Straight Path. (Al-Mumtahinah 60:1)

You ( the Saudi Salafis ) are not allowed to use the mistakes of the companions to practise your ideology.
- They say; Some of you Muslims have girlfriends and drink alcohol;
- you are not implementing the shariah,
- so you must also be a kaafir.
- In the time of the Prophet (pbuh), there was a companion who used to drink alcohol.
- Someone said: "May Allah's curse be upon you"
- we do not make takfir on these minor sins.

Narrated By 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: During the lifetime of the Prophet there was a man called 'Abdullah whose nickname was Donkey, and he used to make Allah's Apostle laugh. The Prophet lashed him because of drinking (alcohol). And one-day he was brought to the Prophet on the same charge and was lashed. On that, a man among the people said, "O Allah, curse him ! How frequently he has been brought (to the Prophet on such a charge)!" The Prophet said, "Do not curse him, for by Allah, I know for he loves Allah and His Apostle." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 81, Hadith #771]


Examples:
If a Muslim ruler drinks alcohol, he didn't dismantle the Shariah;
- but if he makes drinking alcohol halal, then he dismantled the Shariah
- same for committing zina or smoking ‘weed’

Some of Shaikh's students said they were addicted to weed,
- you cannot make baraa from these people.
- You cannot say he who smokes, drinks, or has girlfriends dismantles the Shariah
- but if they make those things halal, then they have dismantled the Shariah

The Saudi Salafis don't care about the affairs of the Muslims.
- and he said not to help Babar Ahmad.
- Abu Khadijah (UK) said he didn't know who is Aafia Siddiqi
- and he said not to help Babar Ahmad.

Abu Khadeejah: "As for Babar, then this man is an extremist deviant innovator who should not be aided. As for the other person, then I do not know her."

- there is nothing you can do that will nullify your shahadah.

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: The Prophet said, "...Whenever a man is alone with a woman the Devil makes a third..." The Goofi Sufis are Murji;
- they don't make takfir on Christians.
- Shaikh met Sufi women who were married to Christian men.
- Shaikh told them; "Your husbands are kuffaar and your children are bastard kids".

O you who believe! When believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them, Allah knows best as to their Faith, then if you ascertain that they are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them. But give the disbelievers that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their Mahr] to them. And there will be no sin on you to marry them if you have paid their Mahr to them. Likewise hold not the disbelieving women as wives, and ask for (the return of) that which you have spent (as Mahr) and let them (the disbelievers, etc.) ask back for that which they have spent. That is the Judgement of Allah. He judges between you. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Al-Mumtahinah 60:10)

Surah 60:10 is clear; a Muslim woman cannot marry a kaafir man.

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islām, the Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. (Al-Baiyinah 98:6)

- Allah made takfir on the Christians and Jews and Said they are the worst of creatures.

- In Belmarsh prison Shaikh gave the tafsir of this surah;
- the prison officer said he was preaching hatred.

MURJI SAY, ‘WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE?”

Allah Said:

Anas Ibn Malik narrated, "A funeral procession passed by and they were praising the dead man. The Prophet (SAW), said, 'It is mandatory.' Then another passed and they were speaking ill of the dead man. He said, 'It is mandatory.' 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said, 'What is mandatory?' He said, 'You praised this one, and so the Garden is mandatory for him and you spoke evil of this one, so the Fire is mandatory for him. You are the witnesses of Allah on the earth.'" [al-Bukhari (1367) and Muslim (949)]

Allah Said:

Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All Hearer, All Seer. (An-Nisa 4:58)

Allah Told you when you judge; and to judge with justice

If you fear a breach between them twain (the man and his wife), appoint (two) arbitrators, one from his family and the other from hers; if they both wish for peace, Allah will cause their reconciliation. Indeed Allah is Ever All Knower, Well-acquainted with all things. (An-Nisa 4:35)

MURJI SAY: “I’M A NON-PRACTICING MUSLIM; Islam IS IN MY HEART, SO I DON’T NEED TO PRACTICE”

But if they repent, perform As-Salad (Iqāmat-as-Salad) and give Zakāt, then they are your brethren in religion. (In this way) We explain the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail for a people who know. (At-Tawbah 9:11)

- Allah put three conditions: Taubah, Salah, and Zakah.

MURJI SAY: “LEAVE ME ALONE TO DRINK ALCOHOL AND HAVE SEX BECAUSE ALLAH S.W.T. WILL FORGIVE EVERYTHING EXCEPT SHIRK (THEY QUOTE NISA :48 AS HUJJAH)

USE THE SAME AYAH AGAINST THEM:
“…TO WHOM HE PLEASE” – NOT EVERYONE IS FORGIVEN

They quote Nisa 4:48 as his hujjah,
- we use the same ayah to refute him.

Allah Said: but He forgives except that * to whom He pleases *

- The Murji skip the words * to whom He pleases *
