Tafseer of Surah Ankaboot - The Miracles of The Prophet (saw)

Tafseer of Surah Ankaboot - The Miracles of The Prophet (saw)

(06th April 6, 2013 morning dars)
(Notes typed lived by Muminah_29 Edited and Formatted by Muminah_29)

Neither did you (O Muhammad) read any book before it (this Qur'an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted (Surah Ankaboot 29:48)

The Christians are compulsive liars so they always lie to defend their religion and their falsehood; they say the Quran is an offshoot from the bible. The Jews and Christians are envious of Islam, and they envy that they have been replaced as God's chose people.

We had given approximately 11 lies that the Jews and Christians tell previously

Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad SAW) whom they find written with them in the Taurat (Torah) (Deut, xviii, 15) and the Injeel (Gospel) (John xiv, 16), - he commands them for Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained); and forbids them from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); he allows them as lawful At-Taiyibat [(i.e. all good and lawful) as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.], and prohibits them as unlawful Al-Khaba'ith (i.e. all evil and unlawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.), he releases them from their heavy burdens (of Allah's Covenant), and from the fetters (bindings) that were upon them. So those who believe in him (Muhammad SAW), honor him, help him, and follow the light (the Qur'an) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful. (Al-A'raf 7:157)

The Rasool could not read nor write so how can the Jews and Christians say that the Prophet (saws) wrote the Quran how can they say that the Quran is an offshoot from the bible when the bible contradicts itself.

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) King James Version

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6) King James Version

This is just 1 example of contradictions in the bible

Allah tells us that the Prophet (saw) never read nor wrote any book before.

Neither did you (O Muhammad SAW) read any book before it (this Qur'an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted. (Al-'Ankabut 29:48)

The followers of falsehood are Jews and Christians and the reason why Allah chose an unlettered Prophet is because the infidels will not be able to say the Prophet wrote the book himself.

They say why Allah didn’t reveal the Quran to Waleed ibn Mugheera but Allah knows best who to give his Baraka to.

Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, idolaters, polytheists, pagans, etc.) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty. (Al-Baqarah 2:105)

...But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty. (Al-Baqarah 2:105)

We can’t tell Allah who to bless we must accept the Qadr of Allah, and when they question Allah they question the Hikmah of Allah and only a donkey will question the Hikmah of Allah.

When you question Allah you question Allah's justice it’s only the shaitan who questions Allah’s justice and Hikmah

(Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Iblis said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay." (Al-A'raf 7:12)

When Allah created Adam iblis refused to bow down, so when we question Allah's Hikmah we become no better than iblis.

The description of the Prophet (saws) was written in their books (the people of the scripture) but they still refuse to believe.

Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e. the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). (Al-'Ankabut 29:49).

When the Prophet (saws) was in the cave Hira and the angel told him to read. He went to his wife Khadija trembling and she took him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal.

He was a Christian and used to write the bible in Hebrew and he told the Prophet (saws) you have been chosen as a Prophet and it is the same angel who spoke to him that had spoken to the messengers before him.

Waraqa bin Naufal said he wished he could live long enough to see when the people will drive him (i.e. the Prophet saws) out. The Prophet asked him will they turn me out Waraqa relied yes anyone who came with something similar to what you have brought have always been treated harshly.

Waraqa affirmed the Prophet was indeed the Messenger of Allah.

Some scholars say the first Muslim was Khadija others say it was Waraqa because he affirmed the Prophet was the Messenger of Allah.

13 years after revelation the Prophet (saws) was driven out from Makah.

The people of the book they were given the description of the Prophet yet they rejected.

The Prophet had a pious wife who was a Jew. She was Saffiyyah

When asked how she became Muslim she said she had grown up in the house of her grandfather and overheard a conversation between him and her uncle affirming that the Prophet (saws) is  indeed the Messenger of Allah but because (he Muhammad) was not a Jew they would not believe.

At that moment Iman entered her heart.

They Jews prefer hell than to believe, in the name of asabiyyah (racialism nationalism).

Jews are the most racist under the heavens

A Jew is anti Semites

The Arabs are Semites

The Jews hates Arabs so jaws are anti Semites.

The Jews wanted to miracles

And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner." (Al-'Ankabut 29:50)

Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur'an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe. (Al-'Ankabut 29:51)

The greatest miracle is the Quran what other sign can they want.

The Quran is recited by an unlettered Prophet that in itself is a sign.

The Quran also has many predictions.

AlifLamMim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. (Ar-Rum 30:1)

The Romans have been defeated. (Ar-Rum 30:2)

In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. (Ar-Rum 30:3)

Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians), (Ar-Rum 30:4)

The Prophet (saws) and Sahabas lived to see this predication come to pass.

The Muslims had wanted the Christians to win the war but the Persians won and the Quraish was teasing the Muslims and Allah revealed the ayah 30:4.

At that time the Romans were Christians and the Persians were pagans.

Say (to them O Muhammad SAW) : "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in Batil (all false deities other than Allah), and disbelieve in Allah and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:52)

The mushriks hearts were so sealed that they kept asking the Prophet (saw) for miracles.

When a person is a kaffir he will never appreciate the Quran.

The Bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allah's Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise. (At-Tawbah 9:97)

The worst kaffir is an Arab who is a kaffir, because he has the Quran in his own language yet doesn’t believe in it and the Quran is the greatest of all miracles.

Allah curses the one who does not reflect on the meaning of the Quran, he is surely hard hearted.

Do they not then think deeply in the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)? (Muhammad 47:24)

1)    The Holy Quran it is suitable for past present and future, it has no errors grammatical or otherwise. The Quran predicts future events accurately and has no scientific errors nor does it contradict modern day science.

Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (Al-Anbiya 21:30)

In this ayah Allah is addressing the kuffar.

2) The splitting of the moon

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar 54:1)

And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (Al-Qamar 54:2)

Narrated Abdullah: The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, Witness, witness (this miracle)." [Bukhari Vol 6, Book 60, No 388]

 3) The multiplication of food

Narrated Jabir: My father had died in debt. So I came to the Prophet and said, "My father (died) leaving unpaid debts, and I have nothing except the yield of his date palms; and their yield for many years will not cover his debts. So please come with me, so that the creditors may not misbehave with me." The Prophet went round one of the heaps of dates and invoked (Allah), and then did the same with another heap and sat on it and said, "Measure (for them)." He paid them their rights and what remained was as much as had been paid to them. Bukhari Vo 4, Book 56, No 780

4) Multiplication of water

Narrated 'Abdullah: We used to consider miracles as Allah's Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allah's Apostle on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, "Bring the water remaining with you." The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, "Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allah's Apostle , and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). Bukhari Vol 4, Book 56, No 779

We were one-thousand-and-four-hundred persons on the day of Al-Hudabiyyah (Treaty), and (at) Al-Hudabiyyah (there) was a well. We drew out its water not leaving even a single drop. The Prophet sat at the edge of the well and asked for some water with which he rinsed his mouth and then he threw it out into the well. We stayed for a short while and then drew water from the well and quenched our thirst, and even our riding animals drank water to their satisfaction. Bukhari Vol 1, Book 7, No 340

5) Supplication for rain

Narrated Anas: A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with the rain." The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday. Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said,

"We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice, "O Allah! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. Allah showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation. Bukhari Vol 8, Book 73, No 115

6) The light of the two Sahabas.

Two of the companions of the Prophet departed from him on a dark night and were led by two lights like lamps (going in front of them from Allah as a miracle) lighting the way in front of them, and when they parted, each of them was accompanied by one of these lights till he reached their (respective) houses. Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 8, No 454

7) The crying of the stem of the date palm tree

The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a date palm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying). Bukhari Vol 4, Book 56, No 783

 8) The meals of the Prophet (saws) glorify Allah

There is no doubt; we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him). [Bukhari Volume 4, Book 56, Number 783]

9) The expulsion of the liar’s corpse from the earth

There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: "Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him." Then Allah caused him to die, and the people buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is the act of Muhammad and his companions.

They dug the grave of our companion and took his body out of it because he had run away from them." They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is an act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, for he had run away from them." They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him was not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground). Vol 4, Book 56, No 814: Bukhari

10)  A Wolf spoke to a man and told him about how great the Prophet (saws) was.

Narrated Unais bin 'Amr: Ahban bin Aus said, "I was amongst my sheep. Suddenly a wolf caught a sheep and I shouted at it. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed me, saying, 'Who will look after it (i.e. the sheep) when you will be busy and not able to look after it? Do you forbid me the provision which Allah has provided me?' "Ahban added, "I clapped my hands and said, 'By Allah, I have never seen anything more curious and wonderful than this!

On that the wolf said, 'There is something (more curious) and wonderful than this; that is, Allah's Apostle in those palm trees, inviting people to Allah (i.e. Islam).' "Unais bin 'Amr further said, "Then Ahban went to Allah's Apostle and informed him what happened and embraced Islam.)" palm trees or other trees and share the fruits with me." Bukhari: Vol 3, Book 39, No 517

11) Al Israa wal Mir'aaj

Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allâh) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him] [Tafsir Qurtubî, Vol. 10, Page 204] Who took His slave (Muhammad SAW) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid-al-Harâm (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighborhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad SAW) of Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. (Al-Isra 17:1)

12) The splitting of his bosom (chest)

Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? (Ash-Sharh 94:1)

And removed from you your burden, (Ash- Sharh 94:2)

Which weighed down your back? ((Ash- Sharh 94:3)

And raised high your fame? ((Ash- Sharh 94:4)

So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, ( Ash Sharh 94:5)

13) The camel of Jabir (which was given a very long life).

Narrated Jabir: While I was riding a (slow) and tired camel, the Prophet passed by and beat it and prayed for Allah's Blessings for it. The camel became so fast as it had never been before. The Prophet then said, "Sell it to me for one Uqiyya (of gold)." I said, "No." He again said, "Sell it to me for one Uqiyya (of gold)." I sold it and stipulated that I should ride it to my house. When we reached (Medina) I took that camel to the Prophet and he gave me its price

I returned home but he sent for me (and when I went to him) he said, "I will not take your camel. Take your camel as a gift for you." (Various narrations are mentioned here with slight variations in expressions relating the condition that Jabir had the right to ride the sold camel up to Medina). Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 50, No 879

The camel lived during the time of Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman and participated in many Battles.

Another story about the camel is that when the camel became young, the Prophet (saws) decided to purchase it from Jabir, Jabir agreed and the Prophet (saws) paid him for the camel with the condition that the Prophet (saws) will take the camel on the return from Madinah but when they returned the Prophet Saws) told Jabir keep your money and keep the camel.

The scholars say it’s allowed to sell a commodity and put a clause on the contract.

This story teaches us a concept of Islamic Commercial Contracts.

14) The vomiting of the two women the Ramadan

The hadith about the two women who’s fasting was broken due to gheebah (slander). Because backbiting in Islam is compared to eating at the flesh of people, it is mentioned that these two women forfeited their fasting as a result of their actions Al-Silsilah al-Da ‘ifah (The Series of weak hadith) for Sheikh Albaani

They vomited pus, blood and flesh because whilst fasting because they were backbiting during Ramadan.

15) The Prophet (saws) cured the eye of ALI in the battle of Khaibar

The Prophet put his saliva in the eye of Ali and it was cured.

Narrated Sahl bin Sad: That he heard the Prophet on the day (of the battle) of Khaibar saying, "I will give the flag to a person at whose hands Allah will grant victory." So, the companions of the Prophet got up, wishing eagerly to see to whom the flag will be given, and everyone of them wished to be given the flag. But the Prophet asked for 'Ali. Someone informed him that he was suffering from eye-trouble. So, he ordered them to bring 'Ali in front of him.

The Prophet's saliva was like antibiotics.

Then the Prophet spat in his eyes and his eyes were cured immediately as if he had never any eye-trouble. 'Ali said, "We will fight with them (i.e. infidels) till they become like us (i.e. Muslims)." The Prophet said, "Be patient, till you face them and invite them to Islam and inform them of what Allah has enjoined upon them. By Allah! If a single person embraces Islam at your hands (i.e. through you), that will be better for you than the red camels." Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 192

16) The Prophet (saws) cured the snake bite of Abu Bakr with his saliva

One example is when our Prophet (S.A.S) and Abu Bakr (R.A) took shelter inside a cave from the Quraish of Mecca who were pursuing them during their journey from Makka to Medina. A snake was waiting inside the same cave as it could not find a way since as Abu Bakr (R.A) had shielded all the holes with his clothes. However, one hole remained open where he put his foot because he had no more clothes left. The snake tried all the holes but was unable to come out. Then it tried the hole which was shielded by the foot of Abu Bakr (R.A).

The snake bit at his foot poisoning him. Tears flowed from the eyes of Abu Bakr (R.A) due to the pain but he said nothing. Muhammad (S.A.S) awoke, and asked what had happened, Abu Bakr (R) told the story. On hearing this, Muhammad (S.A.S) put his saliva on the wound and he was cured. Muhammad (S.A.S) said that the snake had been waiting and praying for Allah (SWT) to see Muhammad (S.A.S). [No tareej]

17) The curing of the blind Sahabah (the hadith of Uthman bin Haneef)

A blind man came to Rasulallah saws asking him to make dua for him to gain his eyesight back, Rasul saws gave him 2 options : 1) Sabr with his blindness and get Jannah 2) regain his eyesight, the man chose to regain his eyesight and so he could see thereafter "By Allah, I didn't speak to him, but I have seen a blind man come to the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) and complain to him of the loss of his eyesight. The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, "Can you not bear it?' and the man replied,

'O Messenger of Allah, I do not have anyone to lead me around, and it is a great hardship for me.' The Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) told him, 'Go to the place of ablution and perform ablution (wudu), then pray two Rak’aat of prayer and make the supplications.'" Ibn Hunayf went on, "By Allah, we didn't part company or speak long before the man returned to us as if nothing had ever been wrong with him." Tabarani, in his "al-Mu'jam al Sayhir"

18) Returning the dugged out eye of Qatadah.

quoting Abd al-Aziz b. Sulaiman b. al-Ghasil, from Asim b. Umar b. Qatada, from his father, from his grandfather Qatada b. al-Numan, that his eye was wounded at Badr and that its pupil came down on his cheekbone. They were about to slice it off, but asked the Messenger of God (SAAS) who said they should not do this. He then said a prayer for him, covering his cheek with his palm. And later you could not tell which of his eyes had been struck!" Ibn Kathirs The Life of the Prophet Muhammad, Al-sira Al-Nabawiyya, Vol 2, reported by Al-Bayhaqi stated, in the Dalail (The Signs), "Abu Sad al-Malini informed us quoting Abu Ahmed b. Adi, quoting Abu Yala, quoting Yahya al-Himmant

Ata' bin Abu Rabah reported: Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) asked him whether he would like that he should show him a woman who is from the people Jannah. When he replied that he certainly would, he said, "This black woman, who came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said, Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, "Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said: `When I afflict my slave in his two dear things (i.e., his eyes), and he endures patiently, I shall compensate him for them with Jannah.". [Al-Bukhari].

19)  Stones used to say salams to the Prophet(saws).

The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said, “I know a stone in Makkah that used to salute (give salaams) me before I received the revelation, I still know it now.” (Muslim)

20) The dua for ibn Abbas

Narrated Ibn Abbas Rady Allahu Anhu: Once the Holy Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam embraced me and said, "O Allah! Bestow on him the knowledge of the Book (Qur'an)" (Bukhari)

21) The incident of Suraaqa ibn Malik

Suraqah ibn Malik ibn Ju’sham was eager to get the reward offered for the Messenger (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) of Allah. He was tracking his footsteps when his horse stumbled and he was thrown off. He refused to give up so he mounted again and rode on. His horse stumbled a second time and he fell again. Determined to capture his quarry, he rode on once more. Just as he caught sight of the Messenger (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) of Allah, his horse stumbled a third time. Its feet sank into the sand and Suraqah fell. Then he watched as dust rose from the ground like a sandstorm in front of him.

22) The dua for the Islam of Umar

Abdullah Ibn Abbas Rady Allahu Anhu reported the Prophet Sallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam as saying, "O Allah, strengthen Islam with Abu Jahl bin Hisham, or with Umar bin al-Khattab". In the morning, Sayyidina 'Umar Rady Allahu Anhu went to the Prophet Sallallahu 'alaihi WA Sallam and accepted Islam; then prayed openly in the mosque. (Ahmad and Tirmidhi)

23. Prediction of Ali Scratching Out His Title

At the Treaty of Hudaibiyyah the kaffirs said to scratch the title Muhammad ur Rasulallah. The Prophet (saws) told Ali to scratch it off but Ali refused. The Messenger of Allah then told Ali that the day will come when he will also be asked to scratch of his title as the caliph

 24) The Prophet (saws) predicted that Zainab bint Jash will be the first wife to die after him

She was the wife who gave the most charity which is why she was called the wife with the longest arm.

A’ishah, the Mother of the Faithful, reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: One who has the longest hands amongst you would meet me most immediately. She farther said: They (the wives of Allah's Apostle) used to measure the hands as to whose hand was the longest and it was the hand of Zainab that was the longest amongst them, as she used to work with her hand and Spend (that income) on charity. Muslim Book 031, Number 6007

25) The Prophet (saws) prayed for Allah to bless Anas bin Malik with a long life and the dua was answered

Anas b. Malik said: Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) passed (by our house) that my mother Umm Sulaim listened to his voice and said: Allah's Messenger, let my father and mother be sacrificed for thee, here is Unais (and requested him to invoke blessings upon me). So Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) invoked three blessings upon me. I have seen (the results) of the two in this very world (in regard to wealth and progeny) and I hope to see (the result) of the third one in the Hereafter. Muslim: Book 031, Number 6063

Ana was the servant of the Prophet his mother was umm Sulaim.

She was in the battle of Uhud and she loved the battlefield.

Anas reported: My mother Umm Anas came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). And she prepared my lower garment out of the half of her headdress and (with the other half) she covered my upper body and said: Allah's Messenger, here is my son Unais; I have brought him to you for serving you. Invoke blessings of Allah upon him. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, make an increase in his wealth, and progeny. Anas said: By Allah, my fortune is huge and my children and grand-children are now more than one hundred. Muslim: Book 031, Number 6064

26) The prophet predicted that Ammar bin Yaasir will be killed by a rebellious group.

He was killed by Muawwiyyah

It is attributed to the Prophet (saw) that he said about Ammar ibn Yasir: 'The killer of Ammar and the one who will take his materials (sword, shield...) will be in hell' It is also narrated that Ammar was martyred at the battle of Siffin and his killer was Abu Ghadiyah (“Musnad Ahmad” and “Isabah” v 4 p 14, and others)

Narated By 'Ikrima : That Ibn 'Abbas told him and 'Ali bin 'Abdullah to go to Abu Said and listen to some of his narrations; So they both went (and saw) Abu Said and his brother irrigating a garden belonging to them. When he saw them, he came up to them and sat down with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment and said, "(During the construction of the mosque of the Prophet) we carried the adobe of the mosque, one brick at a time while 'Ammar used to carry two at a time. The Prophet passed by 'Ammar and removed the dust off his head and said, "May Allah be merciful to 'Ammar. He will be killed by a rebellious aggressive group. 'Ammar will invite them to (obey) Allah and they will invite him to the (Hell) fire." (Sahih Bukhari Volume 004, Book 052, Hadith Number 067.)

Also in the decisive and widely known tradition which al-Bukhari, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, and all the narrators of Islamic traditions and historians transmitted through twenty-five Companions that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said about Ammar ibn Yasir (Radiyallahu Anhu): "Alas! A rebellious group which swerves from the truth will murder Ammar. Ammar will be calling them towards Paradise and they will be calling him towards Hell. His killer and those who strip him of arms and clothing will be in Hell."

The army of Muawwiyyah killed Ammar ibn Yassir because he (Muawwiyah) wanted the caliphate for himself.

Muawwiyyah was rebelling against a legitimate Khalifah (Ali)

Muawwiyyah was the son of Abu Sufyan so he decided to embrace Islam and take it over

The first dynasty of Islam is called the Omayyad dynasty.

This dynasty conquered Spain and the whole of North Africa

27) The Prophet (saws) predicted the emergence of the Khawarij

When 'Ali was in Yemen, he sent some gold in its ore to the Prophet. The Prophet distributed it among Al-Aqra' bin Habis Al-Hanzali who belonged to Bani Mujashi, 'Uyaina bin Badr Al-Fazari, 'Alqama bin 'Ulatha Al-'Amiri, who belonged to the Bani Kilab tribe and Zaid AI-Khail At-Ta'i who belonged to Bani Nabhan. So the Quraish and the Ansar became angry and said, "He gives to the chiefs of Najd and leaves us!" The Prophet said, "I just wanted to attract and unite their hearts (make them firm in Islam)." Then there came a man with sunken eyes, bulging forehead, thick beard, fat raised cheeks, and clean-shaven head, and said, "O Muhammad! Be afraid of Allah! “The Prophet said, "Who would obey Allah if I disobeyed Him? (Allah). He trusts me over the people of the earth, but you do not trust me?" A man from the people (present then), who, I think, was Khalid bin Al-Walid, asked for permission to kill him, but the Prophet prevented him. When the man went away, the Prophet said, "Out of the offspring of this man, there will be people who will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out through the game, and they will kill the Muslims and leave the idolators. Should I live till they appear, I would kill them as the Killing of the nation of 'Ad." BUKHARI 93 / 527

They will kill the Muslims and leave the kaffirs

 28) The dua for the mother of Abu Hurairah (she took her shahadah as a result of the dua of the Prophet {saws})

Abu Huraira reported: I invited my mother, who was a polytheist, to Islam. I invited her one day and she said to me something about Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) which I hated. I came to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) weeping and said: Allah's Messenger, I invited my mother to Islam but she did not accept (my invitation). I invited her today but she said to me something which I did not like. (Kindly) supplicate Allah that He may set the mother of Abu Huraira right. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: O Allah, set the mother of Abu Huraira on the right path. I came out quite pleased with the supplication of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and when I came near the door it was closed from within. My mother heard the noise of my footsteps and she said: Abu Huraira, just wait, and I heard the noise of falling of water. She took a bath and put on the shirt and quickly covered her head with a headdress and opened the door and then said: Abu Huraira, I bear witness to the fact that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His bondsman and His Messenger. He (Abu Huraira) said: I went back to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and (this time) I was shedding the tears of joy. I said: Allah's Messenger, be happy, for Allah has responded to your supplication and He has set on the right path the mother of Abu Huraira. Sahih Muslim Book #31, Hadith #6082
