Tafseer of Surah Ankaboot - Those who follow bautil are sure losers

Tafseer of Surah Ankaboot - Those who follow bautil are sure losers
                                                            By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord? Say: "The signs are only with Allāh, and I am only a plain warner." (Al-'Ankabut 29:50)

-         This question (Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?) is ridiculous

because the Quran is the sign

-         Even the poets admitted what Muhammad was reciting is not poetry

-         If a person’s heart is sealed, they won't appreciate the signs of Allah

-         For example the alternation of night and day

-         Only men of understanding will take heed of such signs

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding. (Aali Imran 3:190)

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding. (Aali Imran 3:190)

Those who remember Allāh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): "Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. (Aali Imran 3:191)

-         The atheists say the world came about by accident

-         Then why does the alternation of day and night come about in such an organised way

-         Use the alternation of day and night as an argument against the atheists

-         If the world came about by accident we would have 7 years of darkness

-         The Quran is the sign and is the biggest miracle

-         How can Muhammad, who was illiterate, bring a book that doesn't contradict science if he wasn’t a prophet?

Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur'ān) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe. (Al-'Ankabut 29:51)

-         Allah asks if the Quran is not a sufficent sign

-         The worst kaafir is the arab kaafir

-         The mother of all miracles is in his own language and it didn't penetrate his heart

The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to be in ignorance of the limits (Allāh's Commandments and His Legal Laws, etc.) which Allāh has revealed to His Messenger. And Allāh is All-Knower, All-Wise. (At-Tawbah 9:97)

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar 54:1)

-         Another sign that Allah has sent is the splitting of the moon

And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (Al-Qamar 54:2)

-         Whenever they see a sign they say it is magic

-         Every time a person wants to hang on to kufr they find a million excuses

-         These kuffaar will be asked whether a warner came to them

-         They will say a warner came but they rejected him

-         Information is widespread so, how can you give the excuse of ignorance on the day of judgement?

It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" (Al-Mulk 67:8)

They will say: "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allāh never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" (Al-Mulk 67:9)

And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (Al-Mulk 67:10)

-         The kuffar will say that if only we had used their intelligence, they wouldn't have been in the fire

-         The worst of creatures are those who don't use their aql

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allāh are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers). (Al-Anfal 8:22)

-         Allah changed the Jews and Christians into apes and swines

-         A monkey likes to copy others so Allah changed them into apes

-         Allah changed people into swines because a pig has no shame

-         Since the Jews had no shame in breaking the rules of Allah they were transformed into pigs

-         Allah transformed them into the animals they behaved like

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allāh: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allāh and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Tāghût (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hellfire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)." (Al-Ma'idah 5:60)

-         Allah said Jews hate Muslims the most

Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikûn (see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud. (Al-Ma'idah 5:82)

Say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "Sufficient is Allāh for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in Bātil (all false deities other than Allāh), and disbelieve in Allāh and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:52)

-         Allah says that He is sufficient as a witness between Muhammad and the kuffaar

-         Because he is going to make the mission of Muhammad the most successful in history

And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. (Ad-Duha 93:5)

-         Before the angel of death paid Muhammad a visit, he saw the success of his mission

He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islāmic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allāh and in His Messenger Muhammed SAW) hate (it). (As-Saff 61:9)

-         The messengership of Muhammad is legitame

-         That was what Allah meant when He said He is sufficient as a witness

-         Anything other than Quran and Sunnah is bautil

-         Communism, darwanism, socialism, and asabiyyah is bautil

-         Asabiyyah covers racism, tribalism and nationalism

-         The Prophet (SAW) said he who calls to asabiyyah is not one of us

-         If someone wants to marry within their own race, that is not asabiyyah

-         Asabiyyah is when a tribe is looked at as superior to others

O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allāh is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2). Verily, Allāh is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Al-Hujurat 49:13)

Narrated Jubair ibn Mut’im: The Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: "He is not one us who calls for 'Asabiyah, (nationalism/tribalism) or who fights for 'Asabiyah or who dies for 'Asabiyah." [Sunan Abu Dawud (Vol. 2, pg. 753) No. 5121]

-         This ayah (49:13) uproots asabiyyah

And say: "Truth (i.e. Islāmic Monotheism or this Qur'ān or Jihād against polytheists) has come and Bātil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism, etc.) has vanished. Surely! Bātil is ever bound to vanish." (Al-Isra 17:81)

-         Those who follow bautil are losers because falsehood will perish

-         Falsehood by nature is a vanishing thing

-         Previous empires have been destroyed

-         Muhammad Al-Fatih destroyed the roman empire in 1453

-         The leader of the army was only 19

-         Turkey is not accepted into the EEC (European Economic Community) because of what Muhammad Al-Fatih did

-         Taqwa opens up avenues you don't expect

And whosoever fears Allāh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). (At-Talaq 65:2)

And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allāh, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allāh will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allāh has set a measure for all things. (At-Talaq 65:3)

And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them), and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not! (Al-'Ankabut 29:53)

They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:54)

-         The kaafirs ask for the punishment to be brought forth if it is true

On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do." (Al-'Ankabut 29:55)

-         Judgement Day has many names

-         One of its names is Al-Ghashiya which means the enveloping day

-         Allah said the hellfire will be the mother of the kaafir

-         It will hug and kiss them like how a mother does to her child

He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). (Al-Qari'ah 101:9)

O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone)." (Al-'Ankabut 29:56)

-         Don't stay in darul harb and compromise with your hijaab and beard

Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allāh spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination! (An-Nisa 4:97)

Except the weak ones among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way. (An-Nisa 4:98)

-         Not everyone who stays in darul harb will be dumped in the hellfire

-         If there is a way to escape and you still don't, then you will be dumped into the hellfire

-         Ibn Taymiyyah said leaving darul harb to live in darul islam is an act of taubah in itself

-         Ibn Taymiyyah said when you live in darul harb sometimes you’re a muslim and sometimes you’re not

-         When you live in darul harb you become corrupted because the society is not conducive to your Islamic faith

-         Allah said His earth is spacious enough, therfore migrate and worship Him alone

-         The kuffaar put a clause in the treaty of Hudaybiyyah that anyone who leaves makkah to go to madinah has to be sent back

-         Two men were sent to bring Abu Baseer back from Madina to Makkah

-         Abu Baseer asked to look at one the men’s sword, the man let him, and Abu Baseer killed him with his own sword

-         Abu Baseer robbed the caravans of the Quraysh so Quraysh asked for the treaty to be changed so that Abu Baseer could live in Madinah and stop raiding their caravans

-         The Prophet allowed the treaty to be changed

And they (disbelievers) plotted [to kill 'Iesa (Jesus)], and Allāh planned too. And Allāh is the Best of the planners. (Aali Imran 3:54)

And those who believe in Bātil (all false deities other than Allāh), and disbelieve in Allāh and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers. (Al-'Ankabut 29:52)

Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned. (Al-'Ankabut 29:57)

-         This ayah (29:57) is a refutation for those who say Muhammad is alive in the grave and he has all his faculties

-         This is the ideology of the shiites and the goofy sufis

-         Dead people can hear some things

-         They hear the salaam that is given to them

-         The Rasul gave salaam to the people of the grave

-         They also hear the footsteps of all those who attended their janazah

...“When a individual is placed in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their footsteps, two angels come to him, make him sit and ask: “What did you use to say regarding this man (i.e. Muhammad, SAW)? The believer will say: “I bear testimony that he is the servant and Messenger of Allah” It will be said to him: “Look at your place in the fire of Hell, Allah has changed instead of it a place for you in Paradise” So he will see both of his places...(Sahih al-Bukhari, no.1308 & Sahih Muslim, no. 2870)

If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad SAW) like Him Who is the AllKnower (of each and everything)[]. (Fatir 35:14)

-         The reconciliation between the ayah (35:14) and the hadith about hearing the footsteps is that Allah blocks the people of the graves from hearing kufr and shirk when people make dua to them

-         It’s a mercy for the inhabitants of the graves to not hear people making dua to them

-         The shady shiites, the goofy sufis and the barelvis are the three groups of people who worship the graves

-         The grave is an idol

-         because the prophet asked for his grave not to be turned into an idol that people worship

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible." [Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allāh only. And those who take Auliyā' (protectors and helpers) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allāh." Verily, Allāh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allāh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever. (Az-Zumar 39:3)

-         Grave worshippers were Muslims by culture because they worshipped the graves despite reading this ayah
