Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? (Al-Ma'un 107:1)

That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), (Al-Ma'un 107:2)

And urges not the feeding of AlMiskīn (the poor), (Al-Ma'un 107:3)

So woe unto those performers of Salāt (prayers) (hypocrites), (Al-Ma'un 107:4)

Who delay their Salāt (prayer) from their stated fixed times, (Al-Ma'un 107:5)

Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), (Al-Ma'un 107:6)

And refuse Al-Mā'ûn (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). (Al-Ma'un 107:7)

It means small acts of charity
-like helping your neighbour with his load he is carrying
-or giving him salt when his own runs out

Deen in this ayah means Day of Judgement
-the one who doesn't believe in Day of Judgement will not look after the orphan
-and is harsh to them
-believing in Day of Judgement helps you to watch what you do
-and act in a righteous way
-you fear the day you will stand in front of Allah (swt) for reckoning

You don't see old age homes in places where people believe in Day Of Judgement e.g. KSA
-but this is rife in the USA and Europe
-only a believer sees the need to look after his parents
-because he thinks about paradise and hell fire
-you know that it is fard to take care of them
-there was no outcry in the UK when Dr Harold Shipman killed the old people
-because their kids were happy to see them gone
-they see their parents as a burden
-when there was a heat wave in Europe many old people died
-and were abandoned by their kids
-they didn't even bother to bury them
-they didn't care if the dogs eat them

The burial procession for the kuffaar is very expensive and time consuming
-they delay the burial and Islam advices otherwise

Ali ibn Abu Talib (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said to him, “O Ali, Three things you should not postpone: the prayer when the hour for it arrives, the funeral when it is ready, and (the marriage of) an unmarried woman when you find a suitable match for her.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (1/320) No. 171, al-Tarikh al-Kabir al-Bukhari (1/177) No. 538, Musnad Ahmad (1/105) No. 828, Mustadrak al-Haakim (2/176) No. 2686]

Allah (swt) opened the surah by asking have we seen
-the character of those who don't believe in Day Of Judgement?
-they have more than a dozen sex partners and brag about it on national television

He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!" (Al-Balad 90:6)

-they blow away $0.5m in one night in a casino and on prostitutes
-they brag about it to numb the pain
-you should not marry your daughter to such a person

[Iblīs (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." (Al-Hijr 15:36)

-he is worse than the shaytan because the shaytan believes in Day Of Judgement

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? (Al-Ma'un 107:1)

-this is a human shaytan and nothing will stop him from committing any sin
-a society in which the people don't believe in Day Of Judgement
-is a habitation of human devils

He drives away the orphans because he doesn't believe in Day Of Judgement
-there are two high ways: steep and flat
-the former takes you to the paradise and the latter takes you the hellfire
-but these people take the flat and not the steep

But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep. (Al-Balad 90:11)

And what will make you know the path that is steep? (Al-Balad 90:12)

(It is) Freeing a neck (slave, etc.). (Al-Balad 90:13)

Or giving food in a day of hunger (famine), (Al-Balad 90:14)

-there are a lot of billionaires in the world yet there are many people dying of hunger
-these can't take their $90bn to their graves

And you love wealth with much love! (Al-Fajr 89:20)

-they love wealth violently and behave as if they will never die

Ibn 'Abbas told Ibn az-Zubayr, "I heard the Prophet (SAW), say, 'A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry.'" [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, #112]

-he who eats his fill whilst his neighbour goes to bed hungry is not a believer
-people are dying of hunger all over the world
-because the wealthy don't believe in Day Of Judgement
-there is enough to satisfy everyone's need but not everyone's greed

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me. He would say: O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He said: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? (The Lord would again say) O son of Adam, I asked drink from you but you did not provide Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I provide Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Such and such of servant of Mine asked you for a drink but you did not provide him, and had you provided him drink you would have found him near Me. [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Hadith #6232]

-some of these are so-called Muslims
-and they are not spending on the ummah
-the sultan of Brunei paid $50m to Michael Jackson to sing for him on his birthday
-he is a goofy soofi and pays his soofi masters for them to make dua for him

And urges not the feeding of Al Miskin (the poor), (Al-Ma'un 107:3)

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill treated. I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Garden like that," indicating his two fingers. [al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari No. 137]

-the best orphan to look after is the one who is your relative
-the miskeen has nothing to eat and looks for food in the trash

The secret of wealth is that you can't enjoy it until you share it
-if you arrive in a community and see many children in skin and bones
-because of starvation and are about to die
-if you use your wealth to save these kids then you will enjoy it
-because you have saved them
-else your conscience will bother you and you will be depressed
-and suffer from insomnia
-one of the signs of the munafiq is that he can't give sadaqa

And nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted from them except that they disbelieved in Allāh and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW); and that they came not to As-Salāt (the prayer) except in a lazy state; and that they offer not contributions but unwillingly. (At-Tawbah 9:54)

-in this ayah Allah says that even though they don't believe in Day Of Judgement
-nor in Allah but they still came to salah
-they were so difficult to detect that Allah (swt) had to send Gibril to tell the rasul (saw)

Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, (Ad-Duha 93:9) And repulse not the beggar; (Ad-Duha 93:10) And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). (Ad-Duha 93:11)

-people who don't believe in Day Of Judgement will not only drive the orphan away
-but will also rob the orphan
-and this is one of the 7 major sins
-when Musa (a.s) was taking knowledge from Al Khidr he was impatient

Narrated Abu-Huraira (RA); ‘The Prophet (SAWS) said: “Avoid the seven great destructive sins.” The people enquired; ‘O Allah’s Messenger! What are they?’ The Prophet (SAWS) said: To join others in worship along with Allah, to practise sorcery, to kill the life that Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law), to eat up usury, to eat up the orphan’s wealth, to show one’s back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting, and to accuse the chaste women, who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.” (Bukhari).

-because his sharia was based on the future whist that of Musa (a.s)
-is based on the past and present
-Al Khidr raised a wall in a village that were hostile to them
-this wall had the treasure of some orphans underneath
-he knew that they will rob the orphans because
-they had no hospitality towards their guests

People like to oppress orphans and women who have no wali
-if you know that you have a weakness for something then stay away from it
-don't marry a woman without a wali to protect her if you know you can't be just to her
-same with money
-make hijrah if the environment is fitna for you

You should make baraa from people who don't believe in Day Of Judgement
-they are evil and have zero taqwa

Abu Jahl saw Abu Bakr (r.a) feeding the poor and he questioned him
-he used qadr to be stingy claiming that if Allah wanted He will feed them
-but Abu Bakr told him that Allah bless people with wealth
-for them to feed the poor to show their gratitude
-he promised to never embrace Islam

And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allāh has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allāh willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error." (Ya-Sin 36:47)

-they care less about the people dying every day as a result of poverty
-the kuffaar even wrote a book 'the god delusion'
-and it was a best seller

Allah is telling you that believing in Day Of Judgement
-gives you an incentive to strive to do good
-and stay away from evil because you know you will be reckoned by Allah
-so you will look after your parents and take care of the orphans
-his disbelief in Day Of Judgement brings out the devil in him
-the societies that don't believe in Day Of Judgement allow incest
-there are animal brothels and sodomy
-so their character is repugnant and repulsive

So when you see kuffaar going to poor countries to feed them
-they have ulterior motives and that is to turn them into kuffaar
-the Sudanese Government told them to give them the food
-and they will distribute but they refused
-so the government told them to take it back

These hypocrites don't offer their salah on time
-they delay ASR until it is almost magrib time

“What is the most beloved act of worship to Allah? And he said: “The prayer at its prescribed fixed times.” Then I asked: “What is next?” He replied: “Then being kind and dutiful to the parents.” I again asked: “What is next?” He replied: “Jihad in the way of Allah.” He [‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood ] said: He [the Prophet ] told me this and if I were to ask him more questions, he would have told me more.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

The time for 'Asr' or late afternoon prayer starts when the shadow of something is equal to itself and ends just before sunset. It is better to offer 'Asr' prayer before the sun becomes yellow because even though it is allowed to offer the prayer at this time the Prophet (saw) disliked Muslims to delay 'Asr' prayer. He remarked that the (hypocrites) offered their prayer at this time. [Ahmad and Nisai, agreed upon]

-so he comes to salah lackadaisically and lazily
-and Allah told us to look after the middle salah
-which is asr because it is easy to miss
-you are allowed to join your salah on a daily basis
-if you are busy on a daily basis

Ibn Taimiyyah says: "Among the opinions the most accommodating on this question is that of the Hanbali school which allows one to combine the prayers if he is busy (since an-Nasa'i has related something to that effect from the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam) and they also say that the cook and baker, and so forth., may also combine their prayers if they fear their wealth (i.e., their investment or what they are working on) will otherwise be ruined." [Fiqh-us-Sunnah, Vol 2, Book 37, 2.118]

-it is better to join than to miss the salah

The hypocrites pray only when people are seeing them
-so they pray at the masjid and not at home
-they fear the creation and not the Creator
-and Allah will expose Himself on Day Of Judgement
-and all will make sajdah except the munafiq
-because Allah will make their back stiff

(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allāh), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so, (Al-Qalam 68:42)

Narrated By Abu Said: I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah will bring forth the severest Hour, and then all the Believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the world for showing off and for gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (on the Day of Judgment) but their back swill be as stiff as if it is one bone (a single vertebra)." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #441]

They refuse to offer small kindness claiming they will continue to bother them
-so they prefer to dump it rather than give it away
-they live their lives aloof from others
-and a Muslim who lives in the community and is patient with them
-is better than the one who stayed away from them and is impatient

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said, “The believer that mixes with people and endures the hardship they cause, he is better than the believer who does not mix with people and so does not endure the hardship they cause." [Musnad Ahmad (5/365) No. 23147, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/160) No. 4032, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/243) No. 2507]

-people will borrow money from you and won't pay you back
-they may backbite and slander you too
-so you need to be patient with them
-because this is good for you since they will pay you back on Day Of Judgement

Verily! Those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet SAW) are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. Unto every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin, and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be a great torment. (An-Nur 24:11)

-so the person who doesn't believe in Day Of Judgement,
-doesn't take care of the orphan or will even rob them
-he doesn't pray on time and prays to show off
-he doesn't take care of his neighbour in small kindness

'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA) said: One day the Messenger of Allah (SAW) mentioned Al-Masih Dajjal (the Antichrist) in the presence of the people and said, "Verily, Allah is not one-eyed but Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal is blind in the right eye which looks like a swollen grape." [al-Bukhari (7127) and Muslim (169)]

-he doesn't care that Allah's eyes are watching him
-but only cares about the eyes of the people
-so therefore, the one who doesn't believe in DAY OF JUDGEMENT his character is evil

Question 1:-

Assalamu alaikum Shaikh, since the Sultan of Brunei is a Goofy Soofi, Is Brunei still one of the places you suggest to make hijrah?

-you are better off living there than the West
-the entire population is Muslim
-it is also a wealthy country

Shaikh, I know you said that it is allowed to have cameras outside the masjid but is it a bid’ah to have cameras inside the masjid?

-The reason they put cameras inside the masjid is for the safety
-of the people and their possessions
-this is the reason the people use it
-your salah is valid in these masajid
-what is wrong is putting cameras in the wudu section of females
-that is uncovering the aura

Question 3:-

Assalamu Alaikum Sheikh, I gave some sadaqa by a cheque and then realized that was my budget of zakah. Can I change my niyyah now that the money is not drawn yet?

-yes you can stop it and rewrite it
-if the cheque has gone through you have to replace the money
