Allah (swt) told us in the Quran that man is ungrateful to His Lord
-so we don't want to be counted among the ungrateful ones

And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allah's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad SAW). (Ibrahim 14:34)

-it is a characteristic of Iblīs to be ungrateful

And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (An-Nahl 16:18)

If you have Allah's barakah and don't utilize it in the right way
-He can take it back from you

Narrated By Abu Huraira: that he heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Allah willed to test three Israelis who were a Leper, a blind man and a bald-headed man. So, he sent them an angel who came to the leper and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He replied, "Good color and good skin, for the people have a strong aversion to me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given a good color and beautiful skin. The angel asked him, 'What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Camels (or cows).' (The narrator is in doubt, for either the leper or the bald-headed man demanded camels and the other demanded cows.) So he (i.e. the leper) was given a pregnant she-camel, and the angel said (to him), 'May Allah bless you in it.' The angel then went to the bald-headed man and said, 'What thing do you like most?' He said, 'I like good hair and wish to be cured of this disease, for the people feel repulsion for me.' The angel touched him and his illness was cured, and he was given good hair. The angel asked (him), 'What kind of property do you like bests' He replied, 'Cows,' The angel gave him a pregnant cow and said, 'May Allah bless you in it.' The angel went to the blind man and asked, 'What thing do you like best?' He said, '(I like) that Allah may restore my eye-sight to me so that I may see the people.' The angel touched his eyes and Allah gave him back his eye-sight. The angel asked him, "What kind of property do you like best?' He replied, 'Sheep.' The angel gave him a pregnant sheep. Afterwards, all the three pregnant animals gave birth to young ones, and multiplied and brought forth so much that one of the (three) men had a herd of camels filling a valley, and one had a herd of cows filling a valley, and one had a flock of sheep filling a valley. Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a leper, went to the leper and said, I am a poor man, who has lost all means of livelihood while on a journey. So none will satisfy my need except Allah and then you. In the Name of Him Who has given you such nice color and beautiful skin, and so much property, I ask you to give me a camel so that I may reach my destination. The man replied, 'I have many obligations (so I cannot give you).' The angel said, 'I think I know you; were you not a leper to whom the people had a strong aversion? Weren't you a poor man, and then Allah gave you (all this property).' He replied, '(This is all wrong), I got this property through inheritance from my fore-fathers' The angel said, 'If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.'
Then the angel, disguised in the shape and appearance of a bald man, went to the bald man and said to him the same as he told the first one, and he too answered the same as the first one did. The angel said, 'If you are telling a lie, then let Allah make you as you were before.'
The angel, disguised in the shape of a blind man, went to the blind man and said, 'I am a poor man and a traveler, whose means of livelihood have been exhausted while on a journey. I have nobody to help me except Allah, and after Him, you yourself. I ask you in the Name of Him Who has given you back your eye-sight to give me a sheep, so that with its help, I may complete my journey' The man said, 'No doubt, I was blind and Allah gave me back my eye-sight; I was poor and Allah made me rich; so take anything you wish from my property. By Allah, I will not stop you for taking anything (you need) of my property which you may take for Allah's sake.' The angel replied, 'Keep your property with you. You (i.e 3 men) have been tested and Allah is pleased with you and is angry with your two companions." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol.4, Book 56, Hadith #670]

-the story of the leper, the bald head and the blind man testifies to this
-there was an outcry in the UK when refugees were coming in
-they claimed they were coming to take their jobs and eat their food
-they treated them badly
-Allah struck them with a calamity and they had to slaughter 1 million sheep over night

Prince Charles had to appeal to the government to bail out the farmers
-this shows that Allah can take away His barakah if you are ungrateful
-or refuse to share with others
-you can only enjoy your wealth if you share it
-you can't take this money to the grave

-Islam doesn't mean peace

The proper definition of Islam is to surrender to Allah with tauheed,
-and to submit with obedience,
-and to renounce shirk and the people of shirk
-this is the only legitimate definition of Islam

Truly, the religion with Allah is Islām. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account. (Aali Imran 3:19)

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islām, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. (Aali Imran 3:85)

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, any Christian or Jew who heard about me and died whilst rejecting me, such a person is in the hell fire to abide there forever." [Sahih Muslim (1/134) No. 153 and Musnad Ahmad (2/350) No. 8594]

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. (Al-Baiyinah 98:6)

-even the Pharaoh and Nimrod had wealth
-Allah gives to whom He loves the barakah of Islam

Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)

-only Allah can give Islam
-for you to be a Muslim is a barakah
-there are many born Muslims but not everyone is here listening to Quran and Sunnah
-they are in the music rooms
-they are in the flirting rooms

It is easy to tell when Allah loves you: you are content in your deen
-He gives you a breakthrough to come out of your difficulties
-He provides you with a spouse who loves Allah; this is how you can tell Allah loves you
-the most painful experience for a Muslim parent is not
-to have his/her child die in an accident
-because if the child dies before puberty he/she will intercede for them
-but the worst thing is for their child to apostate before their eyes

And Nuh (Noah) called upon his Lord and said, "O my Lord! Verily, my son is of my family! And certainly, Your Promise is true, and You are the Most Just of the judges." (Hud 11:45)

He said: "O Nuh (Noah)! Surely, he is not of your family; verily, his work is unrighteous, so ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge! I admonish you, lest you be one of the ignorants." (Hud 11:46)

Nuh (Noah) said: "O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers." (Hud 11:47)

-even prophet Nuh (a.s) couldn't cope with this
-can you imagine your son being a gay?
-so when Musa (a.s) was with Al Khidr, Al Khidr killed a boy who was yet to reach puberty
-because he would grow up to be a kaafir and make his parents kuffaar too
-so he had to kill him to save them all
-but Musa couldn't be patient with him because Allah gave Al Khidr knowledge of the future
-whilst Musa (a.s) had only knowledge of the present
-so they couldn't get along

Narrated By Ubai bin Ka'b: The Prophet said, "Once the Prophet Moses stood up and addressed Bani Israel. He was asked, "Who is the most learned man amongst the people. He said, "I am the most learned." Allah admonished Moses as he did not attribute absolute knowledge to Him (Allah). So Allah inspired to him "At the junction of the two seas there is a slave amongst my slaves who is more learned than you." Moses said, "O my Lord! How can I meet him?" Allah said: Take a fish in a large basket (and proceed) and you will find him at the place where you will lose the fish. So Moses set out along with his (servant) boy, Yusha' bin Nuin and carried a fish in a large basket till they reached a rock, where they laid their heads (i.e. lay down) and slept. The fish came out of the basket and it took its way into the sea as in a tunnel. So it was an amazing thing for both Moses and his (servant) boy. They proceeded for the rest of that night and the following day. When the day broke, Moses said to his (servant) boy: "Bring us our early meal. No doubt, we have suffered much fatigue in this journey." Moses did not get tired till he passed the place about which he was told. There the (servant) boy told Moses, "Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock, I indeed forgot the fish." Moses remarked, "That is what we have been seeking. So they went back retracing their foot-steps, till they reached the rock. There they saw a man covered with a garment (or covering himself with his own garment). Moses greeted him. Al-Khadir replied saying, "How do people greet each other in your land?" Moses said, "I am Moses." He asked, "The Moses of Bani Israel?" Moses replied in the affirmative and added, "May I follow you so that you teach me of that knowledge which you have been taught." Al-Khadir replied, "Verily! You will not be able to remain patient with me, O Moses! I have some of the knowledge of Allah which He has taught me and which you do not know, while you have some knowledge which Allah has taught you which I do not know." Moses said, "Allah willing, you will find me patient and I will not disobey you in aught. So both of them set out walking along the sea-shore, as they did not have a boat.
In the meantime a boat passed by them and they requested the crew of the boat to take them on board. The crew recognized Al-Khadir and took them on board without fare. Then a sparrow came and stood on the edge of the boat and dipped its beak once or twice in the sea. Al-Khadir said: "O Moses! My knowledge and your knowledge have not decreased Allah's knowledge except as much as this sparrow has decreased the water of the sea with its beak." Al-Khadir went to one of the planks of the boat and plucked it out. Moses said, "These people gave us a free lift but you have broken their boat and scuttled it so as to drown its people." Al-Khadir replied, "Didn't I tell you that you will not be able to remain patient with me." Moses said, "Call me not to account for what I forgot." The first (excuse) of Moses was that he had forgotten. Then they proceeded further and found a boy playing with other boys. Al-Khadir took hold of the boy's head from the top and plucked it out with his hands (i.e. killed him). Moses said, "Have you killed an innocent soul who has killed none." Al-Kha,dir replied, "Did I not tell you that you cannot remain patient with me?" Then they both proceeded till when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found there a wall on the point of collapsing. Al-Khadir repaired it with his own hands. Moses said, "If you had wished, surely you could have taken wages for it." Al-Khadir replied, "This is the parting between you and me." The Prophet added, "May Allah be Merciful to Moses! Would that he could have been more patient to learn more about his story with Al-Khadir." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Book 3, Hadith #124]

-both prophet Nuh and Lot (a.s) had kaafir wives
-so their mission wasn't successful
-and they both witnessed the destruction of their people

It is a great barakah from Allah to have a Muslim wife/husband
-but some people take this for granted
-to have who is practicing Islam is a blessing from Allah

And (remember) when you said, "O Musa (Moses)! We cannot endure one kind of food. So invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows, its herbs, its cucumbers, its Fum (wheat or garlic), its lentils and its onions." He said, "Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower? Go you down to any town and you shall find what you want!" And they were covered with humiliation and misery, and they drew on themselves the Wrath of Allah. That was because they used to disbelieve the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets wrongfully. That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds (in their disobedience to Allah, i.e. commit crimes and sins). (Al-Baqarah 2:61)

-you need to ask yourself whether you are grateful or not
-sometimes you become emotional and say that
-the kuffaar are better in the blessing they have
-Allah asked you in surah 68:35-36 whether you can compare the two

Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)? (Al-Qalam 68:35)

What is the matter with you? How judge you? (Al-Qalam 68:36)

Narrated By Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said, "Riches does not mean, having a great amount of property, but riches is self-contentment." [al-Bukhari (6038) and Muslim (2287)]

-Some people can't sleep without sleeping tablets

There is a difference between Muslim and Mu’min
-every Mu’min is a Muslim but not every Muslim is a Mu’min
-Allah called Himself a Mu'min in the Qur'an
-but not a Muslim

He is Allah than Whom there is La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him. (Al-Hashr 59:23)

-Gibril (a.s) made a difference between Emaan and Islam
-the Mu’min abstains from major haram like zina, alcohol
-but the Muslim commits these
-but he is still a Muslim when he is committing these sins
-so to be a Mu’min is a better barakah than being a Muslim

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "An adulterer, at the time he is committing illegal sexual intercourse is not a believer; and a person, at the time of drinking an alcoholic drink is not a believer; and a thief, at the time of stealing, is not a believer." Ibn Shihab said: 'Abdul Malik bin Abi Bakr bin 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham told me that Abu Bakr used to narrate that narration to him on the authority of Abu Huraira. He used to add that Abu Bakr used to mention, besides the above cases, "And he who robs (takes illegally something by force) while the people are looking at him, is not a believer at the time he is robbing (taking). [al-Bukhari (5578) and Muslim (57)]

-when you are a Mu’min the Muslims are safe from your hands and tongue
-you are ultra-orthodox
-Allah made a difference between these in surah 49:14

The bedouins say: "We believe." Say: "You believe not but you only say, 'We have surrendered (in Islam),' for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger (SAW), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Al-Hujurat 49:14)

Narrated By Sa'd: Allah's Apostle distributed (Zakat) amongst (a group of) people while I was sitting there but Allah's Apostle left a man whom I thought the best of the lot. I asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you left that person? By Allah I regard him as a faithful believer." The Prophet commented: "Or merely a Muslim." I remained quiet for a while, but could not help repeating my question because of what I knew about him. And then asked Allah's Apostle, "Why have you left so and so? By Allah! He is a faithful believer." The Prophet again said, "Or merely a Muslim." And I could not help repeating my question because of what I knew about him. Then the Prophet said, "O Sa'd! I give to a person while another is dearer to me, for fear that he might be thrown on his face in the Fire by Allah." [al-Bukhari (27) and Muslim (150)]

And know that, among you there is the Messenger of Allah (SAW). If he were to obey you (i.e. follow your opinions and desires) in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble, but Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger SAW) hateful to you. These! They are the rightly guided ones, (Al-Hujurat 49:7)

(This is) a Grace from Allah and His Favour. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Al-Hujurat 49:8)

-whenever Allah makes you love Emaan and hate kufr or shirk
-then know that He loves you
-when you have emaan beautified in your heart it shows in your face
-because when your heart is beautiful it reflects on you
-so you need to hate kufr and the people of kufr

Why did Allah called Himself a Mu’min
-because He is the only one that gives emaan
-it is a barakah to die in emaan

Muadh Ibn Jabal (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "He whose last words (in life) were 'La ilaha-ill Allah' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah) shall enter Paradise” [Sunan Abu Dawud (2/207) No. 3116, Musnad al-Bazzar (7/77) No. 2626, Tabarani in ‘al-Mu’jam al-Kabir’ (20/112) No. 221, Mustadrak al-Hakim (1/503) No. 1299]

-not every dying person is given the tawfiq to recite the shahada before dying

It was narrated that Abu Huraira (RA) said: 'When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) offered the funeral prayer he would say: "Allahummaghfir lihayyina wa mayyitina, wa shahidina wa gha'ibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarina wa unthana. Allahumma man ahyaitahu minna faahyihi 'alal-islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa tawaffahu 'alal-eemaan. Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la tudillana ba'dah" (“O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die (in a state of) faith. O Allah do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him)”. [Sunan Ibn Majah (Vol. 2, pg. 467) No. 1498 and Musnad Ahmad (Vol. 2, pg. 368) No. 8795]

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA) reported the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said; "Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. A man would be a believer in the morning and turn to disbelief in the evening, or he would be a believer in the evening and turn disbeliever in the morning, and would sell his Faith for worldly goods."' [Sahih Muslim (1/110) No. 118, Musnad Ahmad (2/303) No. 8017, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/487) No. 2195]

-we make this dua because it is only Allah who can help us die with emaan
-and that is the ultimate gift from Allah
-there are people who used to be sahabah but yet
-they apostated from Islam when Musaylima came
-the word Qalb (the heart) means something that is volatile
-it keeps turning over and over

(They say): "Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower." (Aali Imran 3:8)

-this is why Allah taught you a dua to recite (3:8)
-many women fall out with their husbands and vice versa
-because the hearts don't remain the same

The same happens to people with Islam too
-some people their hearts turn for the better and others for the worse
-the story of Umar (r.a) is a wonderful example
-he left his house to kill the rasul (saw) but took shahada before the day finished

Narrated that Aslam said: ‘Umar said to us, ‘I was the most severe of people against the Messenger of Allah (SAW). Then one hot day at midday I was in one of the pathways of Makkah, and a man met me and said, “I am amazed at you, Ibn al-Khattab. You claim that you are like this and like this, and this matter has entered your own house.” I said, “What is that?” He said, “Your sister has become a Muslim.” So I went back in a fury and struck the door. Someone said, “Who is it?” I said, “‘Umar.” They hurried and hid from me. They had been reciting a page which they had and they abandoned it and forgot it. My sister got up to open the door, and I said to her, “Enemy of her own self, have you converted?” I struck her upon the head with something that I had in my hand so that the blood flowed and she cried. She said, “Ibn al-Khattab, whatever you are going to do, then do it, for I have converted.” I entered and sat down on the couch. Then I glanced at the page and said, “What is this? Give it to me.” She said, “You are not one of its people, you don’t clean yourself after intercourse, and this is a writing which none touches except for those who have purified themselves.” But I wouldn’t give up until she gave it to me. I opened it and there in it was, “In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.” When I passed by one of the names of Allah, exalted is He, I became afraid of it and I put down the page. Then I came back to myself and picked up the page and there in it was, “There glorifies Allah that which is in the heavens and the earth,” and I became afraid. I read up until, “believe in Allah and His messenger!” (Qur’an 57: 1-7) and so I said, “I witness that there is no god but Allah,” and so they all came out to me hastily, saying, “Allahu Akbar!” and said, “Rejoice! Because the Messenger of Allah (SAW), supplicated on Monday and said, ‘O Allah strengthen Your deen with whoever is the more beloved of the two men to You, either Abu Jahl ibn Hisham or ‘Umar.’” They directed me to the Prophet (SAW), in a house at the foot of as-Safa, and I went to it and knocked on the door. They said, “Who is it?” I said, “Ibn al-Khattab.” They knew my severity against the Messenger of Allah (SAW), so nobody moved to open the door until he (SAW) said, “Open it for him.” They opened it for me, two men grabbed hold of me by the upper arms and brought me to the Prophet (SAW), who said, “Leave him alone.” Then he grabbed me by my shirt and dragged me forcibly towards him and said, “Accept Islam, Ibn al-Khattab. O Allah guide him,” and I bore witness and the Muslims said, “Allahu Akbar!” so loudly that it was heard in the valleys of Makkah.

-now his grave is beside the grave of the rasul (saw)
-so the heart keeps changing on a daily basis
-so make dua that your heart changes for the better
-because Allah is AL-Mu'min and is the only one that can give emaan

Narrated By Al-Abbas bin 'Abdul Muttalib: That he said to the Prophet "You have not been of any avail to your uncle (Abu Talib) (though) by Allah, he used to protect you and used to become angry on your behalf." The Prophet said, "He is in a shallow fire, and had It not been for me, he would have been in the bottom of the (Hell) Fire." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 5, Book 58, Hadith #222]

Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Prophet (may peace be upon him) said: Among the inhabitants of the Fire Abu Talib would have the least suffering, and he would be wearing two shoes (of Fire) which would boil his brain. [Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith #0413]

-He revealed to the rasul (saw) that he can't guide whom he wants
-when Abu Talib died a kaafir

Verily! You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)

The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islāmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy. (Al-Hujurat 49:10)

-this is based upon 'La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadun rasulullah'
-this is why Allah said in 49:10 that only the believers are brothers
-the freemasons call themselves the brotherhood
-but every other brotherhood is false
-so a Muslim brother who is on deen is closer to you
-than your biological brother who is not on deen
-there is nothing like non-practicing Muslim
-this is a web of the shaytan

Nubay bin Wahab (RA) from the Banu Abdud Daar tribe reports that when Rasulullaah (SAW) arrived with the captives from the Battle of Badr, they distributed them amongst the Sahabah saying, "I emphatically command you to treat them wel1." Amongst the prisoners was Abu Azeez bin Umayr bin Hishaam, the real brother of Mus'ab bin Umayr. Abu Azeez says, "When I was captured by one of the Ansaar, my brother Mus'ab bin Umayr passed by. He said to the Ansaari, 'Tie both his hands well because his mother is very wealthy and she will pay a large ransom for him.' I was with a group of Ansaar when we returned from the battle. Whenever the morning and afternoon meals were served, they gave me the bread and ate dates only because of the instruction of Rasulullaah (SAW) to treat us (prisoners) well. Whenever any of them happened to receive any bread, he would ensure that he gave it to me. When I returned it to him out of embarrassment, he would give it back without even touching it." Abu Yasar (RA) was the Ansaari who captured Abu Azeez. After Mus'ab bin Umayr had told Abu Yasar what he did (about tying both hands well), Abu Azeez said, "Dear brother! Is this the advice you give him about me (your own brother)?" Mus'ab replied, "He (Abu Yasar) is my brother and not you." When Abu Azeez's mother enquired what the highest ransom was that anyone from the Quraysh had paid, she was informed that it was four thousand Dirhams. She then sent four thousand Dirhams and ransomed her son. [Ibn Is'haaq, as quoted in Al Bidaayah wan Nihaayah (Vol. 3 Pg.307)]

-Mus’ab Ibn Umair (r.a) understood this brotherhood
-so blood relation doesn't mean anything if the person is not a Muslim

Allah made this clear to prophet Nuh (a.s)

So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst the waves like mountains, and Nuh (Noah) called out to his son, who had separated himself (apart), "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers." (Hud 11:42)

The son replied: "I will betake myself to a mountain, it will save me from the water." Nuh (Noah) said: "This day there is no saviour[] from the Decree of Allah except him on whom He has mercy." And a wave came in between them, so he (the son) was among the drowned. (Hud 11:43)

Habeeb bin Abi Thaabit narrates that Haarith bin Hishaam, Ikrama bin Abi Jahal and Ayaash bin Rabee'ah (RA) were all fatally wounded during the Battle of Yarmook. When Haarith bin Hishaam asked for some water and was about to drink it, Ikrama looked at him. Haarith said, "Give the water to Ikrama." When Ikrama took the water, Ayaash looked at him. Ikrama therefore asked that the water be given to Ayaash. However, before the water could reach Ayaash he had already passed away. By the time the water reached the others, they had also passed away. [Mustadrak al-Haakim (3/270) No. 5058]

-the Muslims in the battle of Yarmook fulfilled this brotherhood
-even when death was looking them in the face
-the sahabah knew what the Islamic brotherhood meant

And those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them, and have no jealousy in their breasts for that which they have been given (from the booty of Bani An-Nadir), and give them (emigrants) preference over themselves, even though they were in need of that. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, such are they who will be the successful. (Al-Hashr 59:9)

It is reported from Hudhaifa that news reached him (the Holy Prophet) that a certain man carried tales. Upon this Hudhaifa remarked: I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) saying: "The tale-bearer shall not enter Paradise." [al-Bukhari (6056) and Muslim (189)]

Narrated By Ibn Abbas: The Prophet once passed by two graves, and those two persons (in the graves) were being tortured. He said, "They are being tortured not for a great thing (to avoid). One of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other was going about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends). He then took a green leaf of a date-palm tree split it into two pieces and fixed one on each grave. The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you done so?" He replied, "I hope that their punishment may be lessened till they (the leaf) become dry." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23, Hadith #443]

-man was punished in the grave because he carried tales to destroy the Islamic brotherhood
-the grave is the first stopover
-the tale bearer will never enter paradise

It was narrated that Hani' the freed slave of 'Uthman bin 'Affan, said: "When 'Uthman bin 'Affan stood beside a grave, he would weep until his beard became wet. It was said to him: 'You remember Paradise and Hell, and you do not weep, but you weep for this?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The grave is the first stage of the Hereafter. Whoever is delivered from it, what comes after it is easier. If he is not delivered from it, then what comes after it is harder."' He said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "I have never seen any horrible scene but the grave is more horrible." [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/553) No. 2308 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/333) No. 4267]

Abu Hurayrah (RA) traced this hadith to the Prophet (SAW) that Allah, the Majestic and Glorious, said, “When I take away the eye-sight of a slave and he shows patience and looks forward to reward then I shall not be pleased for him with anything less than Paradise.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/603) 2401, Musnad Ahmad (2/265) No. 7587]

If you become blind and have sabr with it, Allah will give you the paradise
-blind people in Europe have dogs as their guides
-in the Muslim societies your relatives take you around

Sometimes you say Allah gave you a raw deal
-but if you look at the one beneath you then you will be grateful to Allah
-but if you look otherwise then you may be ungrateful
-you have your eyes and others don't have eyesight

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger (SAW) say, ‘(There are) two eyes that the Fire will never touch, the eye that wept from fear of Allah and the eye that stood guard in the night in Allah’s path.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/175) No. 1639 and Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/227) No. 1639]

If you can't hear you are dumb
-because you use your hearing to learn the language
-and to hear the Qur'an, khutba

عن أبى الدرداء - رضي الله عنه - قال: أنصف أذنيك من فيك وإنما جعل لك أذنان وفم واحدٌ لتسمع أكثر مما تتكلم
Abu Darda (RA) said; “Be just to your ears and mouth, as you were given two ears and only one mouth, so that you can listen more than you speak.” [al-Zamakhshari (d. 583 H) in 'Rabi al-Abrar' (2/121) and Abu Sa'd al-Abi (d. 421 H) in 'Nathr al-Durr fi al-Muhadarat' (4/143)]

-on many occasions Allah said that He is the All-Hearing
-Luqman the wise said that if speaking is silver then silent is gold

On the authority of Abdullah from al-Hassain bin al-Junaid from Sufyan who said: 'Luqman said to his son: “O my son! I have never regretted because of keeping silent. If words are silver, silence is golden.”' [al-Zuhd Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (pg. 44) No. 272]

You need your aql to know that you have One God
-and Allah reveal surah 21:22 to appeal to your aql

Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, then verily both would have been ruined. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! (Al-Anbiya 21:22)

-this is why the angels will question the people in the hellfire about using their aql
-when you hear the priest saying 'holy Mary mother of god'
-why didn't you ask yourself a question; that how can God come from the womb of a woman
-also the Hindus believe that their god came back but couldn't see his way
-so they light up the city
-so the angels will ask these questions in surah 67:9-10

They will say: "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allāh never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" (Al-Mulk 67:9)

And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (Al-Mulk 67:10)

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers). (Al-Anfal 8:22)

-in surah 8:22 Allah said that the worst of the creation is the one deaf, dumb and blind
-and he is equal to the beast
-because he doesn't use his aql
-if you don't use your brain you are like the animals
-you can't be an ameer in the house if you don't use your aql

This barakah can save your life
-because you can smell the smoke in the event of a fire outbreak
-you smell the food before you eat it to know if it is good for human consumption
-this is why Allah placed it right on top of your nose
-we were intelligently designed

By the fig, and the olive, (At-Tin 95:1)

By Mount Sinai, (At-Tin 95:2)

And by this city of security (Makkah), (At-Tin 95:3)

Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), (At-Tin 95:4)

On the authority of Anas the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Of the things of this world, women and perfume have been made dear to me, and my comfort is in prayer” [Sunan al-Nasa'i (7/61) No. 3939, Musnad Ahmad (3/285) No. 14069, Musnad Abu Ya'la (6/237) No. 3530, al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (5/241) No. 5203]

Jabir (RA) said: The Prophet (SAW) said, "He who has eaten garlic or onion should keep away from us or our mosques." [al-Bukhari (855) and Muslim (564)]

The narration in Muslim is: "He who has eaten onion or garlic or leek should not approach our mosque, because the angels are also offended by the strong smells) that offend the children of Adam."

You should eat with one intestine
-we are not allowed to practice gluttony
-to overeat like the kuffaar

Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “The food of one person suffices for two, the food of two persons suffices for four persons, and the food of four persons suffices for eight persons.” [Sahih Muslim (3/1630) No. 2059]

-the kuffaar eat with 7 intestines, this is why obesity is a pandemic in Europe and America

Miqdam ibn Ma’dikarib (RA) reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger say, “A man does not fill a vessel worse than his belly. Enough for the son of Adam are a few morsels to keep his back straight. But, if it is unavoidable then let him apportion one third for his food, one-third for his drink and one-third for his breath.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/590) No. 2380, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/448) No. 3349, Musnad Ahmad (4/132) No. 17225]

Ibn Umar (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “The believer eats in one intestine, while the disbeliever eats in seven intestines.’ [al-Bukhari (5393) and Muslim (2061)]

Certainly! Allah will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their abode. (Muhammad 47:12)

-the disbelievers eat and drink like the cattle
-in the UK a man weighed the same amount like a cow, 1 ton

-we live to see Surah Muhammad: 12 in a documentary

[Musa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). (Ta-Ha 20:25)

"And ease my task for me; (Ta-Ha 20:26)

"And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159]. (Ta-Ha 20:27)

"That they understand my speech, (Ta-Ha 20:28)

-the Pharaoh of Egypt looked down at Prophet Musa (a.s) and said he
-Musa can’t even speak properly
-he asked the people of Egypt who they are going to follow
-this man who can’t speak properly or himself
-desperate people lead to desperate measures
-a kaffir is always desperate

"Am I not better than this one [Musa (Moses)], who is Mahin [has no honour nor any respect, and is weak and despicable] and can scarcely express himself clearly? (Az-Zukhruf 43:52)

Because of this Musa (a.s) made a dua for eloquence (20:25-28)
-when you are eloquent in speech you have confidence
-this is why Musa made a dua to be an erudite speaker
-people are attracted to eloquence
-this is why the rasul (saw) called it as effective as black magic

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 'Two men came from the East and addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches. On that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Some eloquent speech is as effective as magic."' [Sahih Bukhari (7/19) No. 5146]

Umm Salamah (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "I am only a human being, and you people have disputes. May be someone amongst you can present his case in a more eloquent and convincing manner than the other, and I give my judgment in his favor according to what I hear. Beware! If ever I give (by error) somebody something of his brother's right then he should not take it as I have only, given him a piece of Fire." [al-Bukhari (6967) and Muslim (1713)]

-a man can be speaking kufr but because he is fluent he can make it sound like haqq
-when Hitler spoke the whole of Germany listened
-even though he was speaking racism
-Louis Farrakhan has eloquence so people listen to his crap
-even when he says that the Whiteman was created by a mad scientist called Yaqub

You use your tongue to arbitrate in disputes, to give da’wah
-the tongue is used to do dhikr and to make dua

Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'an), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat¬as¬Salat). Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers, etc.]. And Allah knows what you do. (Al-'Ankabut 29:45)

-the tongue in used to announce your niyyah when you go to perform hajj or umrah

Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Two words which are light on the tongue but which are dear to the Most Merciful and will weigh heavily in the balance: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ العَظِيمِ Subhan Allah wa bi hamdih, subhan Allah il-‘Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah; Glory be to Allah the Almighty).” [al-Bukhari (6682) and Muslim (2694)]

-the tongue is also used to give khutba in the masjid

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) that which pleases Allah; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.'' [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/561) 2322 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/231) 4112, (Abu Eesa al-Tirmidhi said: this hadeeth is hasan ghareeb)]

-you use your tongue to recite the Quran
-and the Quran will come and intercede for u on the day of judgement
-the tongue is used to reconcile people
-this is how important the tongue is
-the tongue and the heart are the 2 best and worst organs

'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: "The fast and the Qur'an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their intercession will be accepted." [Musnad Ahmad (2/174) No. 6626, Mustadrak al-Haakim (1/740) No. 2036, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/378) No. 1839]

-it is best when utilized properly and worse when used for wrong doing

On the authority of Khalid Ar-Raba'i who said: "Luqman was an Ethiopian slave who was a carpenter. His master said to him, 'Slaughter this sheep for us,' so he slaughtered it. (His master) said: 'Bring the best two pieces from it,' so he brought out the tongue and the heart. Then time passed, as much as Allah willed, and (his master) said: 'Slaughter this sheep for us,' so he slaughtered it. (His master) said, 'Bring the worst two morsels from it,' so he brought out the tongue and the heart. His master said to him, 'I told you to bring out the best two pieces, and you brought these, then I told you to bring out the worst two pieces, and you brought these!' Luqman said, 'There is nothing better than these if they are good, and there is nothing worse than these if they are bad.''' [Tafseer al-Tabari (20/135) and Tafseer Ibn Katheer (6/334)]

-the tongue will topple people over on their faces when used for wrong doing
-the tongue can be used for both good and bad

"The head of the matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer and its peak is jihad." Then he (SAW) said, "Shall I not tell you of the foundation of all of that?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." So he took hold of his tongue and said, "Restrain this." I said, "O Prophet of Allah, will we be taken to account for what we say with it?" He (SAW) said, "May your mother be bereaved of you, O Muadh! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces — or: on their noses — except the harvests of their tongues?" [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/11) No. 2616, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/116) No. 3973, Musnad Ahmad (5/231) No. 22069]

The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets
-all the animals in the air, the fishes in the sea, the ants in the hole,
-seek forgiveness for those who teach others their deen
-the best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others

"All in the heavens and earth and the fish in the depth of the water seek forgiveness for the scholar, and the superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the full moon at night over the rest of the stars. Verily the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets. Verily, the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune." [Musnad Ahmad (5/196) No. 21763; Also related by Abu Dawud (2/341) No. 3641; at-Tirmidhi (5/48) No. 2682; Ibn Majah (1/150) No. 223, ad-Daarimee (1/110) No. 342 and ibn Hibbaan (1/289) No. 88]

Abu Umamah Bahili (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: “Surely, Allah, His angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earths, even the ants in their holes and even the fish invoke blessings on the teacher of the people about what is good.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (5/50) No. 2685]

Al-Ash'ari said, "Part of respect for Allah is to show respect to an old Muslim and to someone who knows the Qur'an, as long as he does not go to excess in it nor turn away from it, and to respect a just ruler." [Al-Adab al-Mufrad Al-Bukhari, Hadith #357]

Narrated By 'Uthman: The Prophet said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 61, Hadith #545]

-if you hate an old Muslim who is on the right aqeeda,
-someone who knows the Quran (scholar of Islam)
-and a just ruler then you are a munafiq

To have knowledge is not enough
-you need to have the wisdom to impart the knowledge
-the Prophet (saw) was very wise
-the hikma is the Sunnah
-when a young man asked the Prophet if he can kiss his wife whilst fasting
-the Prophet said no but when the old man asked the same question
-the Prophet said yes
-this shows the wisdom he had
-knowledge without hikma is a disaster

O you who believe (in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)! Verily, the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Muhammad SAW) are Najasun (impure)[]. So let them not come near Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year, and if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you if He will, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (At-Tawbah 9:28)

-Imam Shafi’i passed a fatwa in Baghdad and when he went to Egypt
-he changed many of them because it was 2 different places
-before answering a question you need to look at the situation you are in
-you cannot pass a fatwa unless you have knowledge
-of the book and knowledge of fiqh al waaqi

He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding. (Al-Baqarah 2:269)

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “There are two blessings that of which many people are careless: health and leisure.” [Sahih Bukhari (8/88) No. 6412, Sunan al-Tirmidhi (4/550) No. 2304, Sunan Ibn Majah No. 4170, Sunan al-Darime (2/385) No. 2707, Musnad Ahmad (1/344) No. 3207]

Your health is a trust from Allah so you are not allowed
-to abuse your health by drinking, smoking or womanizing
-smoking gives lung cancer
-drinking damages the liver and promiscuity gives STDs
-jaahiliyyah gives people a raw deal
-we are not allowed to destroy our health by doing haram
-if you have many girlfriends you have to spend a lot
-jaahiliyyah destroys you mentally, emotionally and physically

Abu Barzah Aslami (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “(On the Day of Resurrection) the feet of a slave will not move till he is asked about his life how he spent it; and about his knowledge, what he did with it, and about his wealth, how he earned it and on what he used it, and about his body, in what way he wore it off.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/614) No. 2417 and Sunan al-Darime (1/144) No. 537]

'Amr bin Maimun narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) advised a man: “Make the most of five things before five others: youth before old age, health before sickness, wealth before poverty, free time before becoming busy and life before death." [al-Sunan al-Kubra al-Nasa'i (10/400) No. 11832, Shu'ab al-Iman al-Bayhaqi (12/477) No. 9768, Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/341) No. 7846, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah (7/77) No. 34319]

Syrian soldiers force man to say "No god but Bashar Al Assad":

Syrian Alawis: "We worship Bashar al-Assad before Allah..":

You are not allowed to feel guilty because you are rich

Ibn 'Umar is that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) stated while he was on the minbar, “The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is the one which spends and the lower is the beggar's.” [al-Bukhari (1429) and Muslim (1033)]

-it’s better to be rich than poor

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “For one of you to chop wood and carry it on his back is better for him than asking (begging) from anyone who will either give him something or refuse to give him anything.” [al-Bukhari (1968) and Muslim (1042)]

But seek, with that (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion of legal enjoyment in this world, and do good as Allah has been good to you, and seek not mischief in the land. Verily, Allah likes not the Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts). (Al-Qasas 28:77)

-Muslims must not be boring but have fun in a halal way

We are not allowed to waste time or curse time
-mankind abuses time by getting angry because they are old

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Allah said: 'Sons of Adam inveigh against [the vicissitudes of] Time, and I am Time, in My hand is the night and the day.'" As the Almighty is the Ordainer of all things, to inveigh against misfortunes that are part of Time is tantamount to inveighing against Him. [Bukhari (also by Muslim).]

Abu Huraira reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: "The son of Adam abuses Dahr (the time), whereas I am Dahr since in My hand are the day and the night." [al-Bukhari (6181) and Muslim (2246)]

By Al-'Asr (the time). (Al-'Asr 103:1)

Verily! Man is in loss, (Al-'Asr 103:2)

Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'ruf)which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar)which Allah has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad, etc.). (Al-'Asr 103:3)

-when a person looks in the mirror and sees he’s old and gray
-he says look at what time has done to me

-the ability to look in someone’s face and
-be able to tell what they are; then you are blessed with firaasa and furqan

Anas ibn Malik (RA) said: I entered the company of Uthman ibn Affaan (RA) while I was thinking about the beauty of a woman I saw in the street. Uthman (RA) then said: One of you enter my presence and the remnants of zinaa can be seen in his eyes. I then said: Did revelation come down after the departure of the Rasool (SAW)? Uthman said: But this is the deep insight, foresight and intuition of the believer. [Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, Madaarij as-Saalikeen (Vol. 2, pg. 455)]

Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islam) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah[] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. (At-Tawbah 9:29)

Anas Ibn Malik narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "A believer is shrewd, sharp and careful." [Quda'ee (d. 454 H) in 'Musnad al-Shihab' (Vol. 1 pg. 107) No. 128]

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: "A believer is not bitten from the same hole twice.” [Related by al-Bukhari (6133) and Muslim (2998)]

Some people are born having both genitals
-and are so embarrassed they commit suicide

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for dhikr (the remembrance of Allah) that which pleases Allah; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.'' [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/561) 2322 and Sunan Ibn Majah (5/231) 4112, (Abu Eesa al-Tirmidhi said: this hadeeth is hasan ghareeb)]

Assalamu alaikum shaikh, why are the Asha’ira and Goofi Soofi so upset that Mohammad Said Ramadan Al Buti, Syrian Pro-Assad Cleric was killed, even though he supported the Taghoot? Don't they know the ideology of the Alawi’s?

-they have a problem with al walaa wal baraa
-this is the reason for this
-do not take your aqeeda from anyone but the mujahideen (ASWJ)
-it is haraam to take your deen from or pray behind someone who badmouths the mujahideen
