28 DECEMBER 2013 / 24 SAFAR 1435 HIJRI

By Shaikh Abdullah Faisal

Noted Taker @AT6
Edited By Abu Hafiza & Jansep2001

The name of Abraham's (AS) father was Azar.

The lineage of Abraham (AS) goes back to Noah from a son of Noah (AS) called Sam.

Sam is the Arab son, Ham is the black son and Japheth is the white son.

Sam is the father of the Semitic race, Ham is the father of the black race, Japheth is the father of the European race.

Japheth was in the middle and Ham was the youngest.

Abraham (AS) had a brother called Haran.

Haran (AS) was the father of Prophet Lut (AS).

Therefore, Lut (AS) was the nephew of Abraham (AS).

Abraham's (AS) ancestral home was Iraq.

To be more specific Babylonia.

At that, time people worshipped fire, idols made of wood and stone, the sun, the moon and the stars.

The first people to worship the sun, the moon and the stars were the people of Abraham (AS).

The people of Noah (AS) worshipped idols.

Abraham's (AS) father was no ordinary idolater.
Not only did he worship the idols, he used to manufacture them.

He used to sell them and make a fortune.

Abraham (AS) despised the idols and pagan practices.

The word Abraham (AS) means the father of many nations.

Abraham (AS) is considered one of the five strong willed prophets

Yunus (AS) made a dua and he was released from the whale.

Therefore, he cannot be considered a strong willed prophet

Noah (AS), Abraham (AS), Moses (AS), Jesus (AS) and Muhammad (SAWS) are the five strong willed prophets.

The greatest prophet was Muhammad (SAWS).

The second in greatness is Abraham (AS).

When the prophet (SAWS) went on Al Israa Wal Miraaj, he saw Abraham (AS) in the seventh heaven.

There were kids with him who are the children who die before puberty.

The third prophet in greatness was Moses (AS).

Some scholars said almost all of the Qur'an was about Musa (AS)

I do not know who the fourth prophet in greatness is.

I do not know if Jesus or Noah (AS) is greater and I do not want to speak without knowledge.

From a young child, Allah (SWT) blessed Abraham (AS) with wisdom, knowledge and spirituality so he despised the idols.

When he was seven, he asked his father, "you manufacture idols out of wood and stone with your own hands and then you worship them?"

He asked his father who is the idol with big ears.

The idols name was Mardukh.

His father said Madrukh is the god of gods.

Abraham (AS) grew up hating idols.

He grew up hating idols because he did not lose his fitrah.

He invokes instead of Allah that which neither harms him nor benefits him. That is what is the extreme error He invokes one whose harm is closer than his benefit - how wretched the protector and how wretched the associate.

(Al-Hajj 22:12-13)

He did not lose his innocence.

Allah (SWT) spoke about man in the Qur'an. Man has a tendency to call on things that cannot benefit him.

Abraham's (AS) people had a huge temple packed with idols.

What surprised Abraham (AS) was how they would go to the idols, beseech them, bow to them, supplicate to them and beg them and they would cry.

He continued to display his hatred for the idols throughout his youth.

He was famous for his al walaa wal baraa.

To the extent that the scholars say al walaa wal baraa is Millat Ibrahim.

Whenever you see Millat Ibrahim in a book, it is referring to al walaa wal baraa

Al walaa wal baraa is one of the seven conditions of Shahada and if you don't practise it, you are a hypocrite.

Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allah Alone" except the saying of Ibrahim (Abraham) to his father: "Verily, I will ask for forgiveness (from Allah) for you, but I have no power to do anything for you before Allah." Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return,

(Al-Mumtahinah 60:4)

Allah (SWT) spoke about the father of Abraham (AS), Azar in Surah 6:74.

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father Azar: "Do you take idols as aliha (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in manifest error."

(Al-An'am 6:74)

One of the Sunnah of Allah (SWT) is to mention the criminals by their names.

This is why Allah (SWT) mentioned the name of Abraham's (AS) father in the above-mentioned verse.

Another example is when Allah (SWT) mentioned Abu Lahab.

Both men used to make a fortune selling idols.

Both men were antagonistic to Tawheed because it went against their financial interest.

Both men were related to a prophet by blood.

Abu Lahab was the Prophet's uncle and Azar was Abraham's (AS) father.

Both men came from the Semitic race.

It is only important to mention the criminal by his name if he is an icon or if he is important.

If he is not an icon, there is no need to mention him by his name.

Azar was the manufacture and seller of idols; Abu Lahab was also a seller of idols.

Both men where vehement against la ilaha illallah

Abraham (AS) continued to give dawah to his people.

Thus did we show Ibrahim (Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he be one of those who have Faith with certainty. When the night covered him over with darkness he saw a star. He said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "I like not those that set." When he saw the moon rising up, he said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among the erring people." When he saw the sun rising up, he said: "This is my lord. This is greater." But when it set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners in worship with Allah. Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allah Alone) and I am not of Al-Mushrikun".

(Al-An'am 6:75-79)

His people disputed with him. He said: "Do you dispute with me concerning Allah while He has guided me, and I fear not those whom you associate with Allah in worship. (Nothing can happen to me) except when my Lord (Allah) wills something. My Lord comprehends in His Knowledge all things. Will you not then remember?
And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allah things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know." It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong i.e. by worshipping others besides Allah), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided. And that was Our Proof, which We gave Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is All Wise, All Knowing.

(Al-An'am 6: 80-83)

People like to claim Abraham (AS) for themselves but Allah (SWT) said Abraham (AS) was neither a Jew nor a Christian but he was a Muslim and was not one of the Mushrikeen.

Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikun

(Ali Imran 3:67)

Christians claim Abraham (AS) for themselves but they are not circumcised.

Jews killed prophets and claim Abraham (AS) for themselves.

Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Verily the most painful punishment on the Day of Judgment are those who kill the prophets or people murdered by the prophet or kill one of his parents, and making statues and knowledgeable people who do not benefit from his knowledge."

[Related by Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (10/288 No. 7504]

A Jew is a pagan because the Prophet called a Jew a pagan at a battle.

Narrated Usama bin Zaid: So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) excused him. (It was the custom of) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and his companions to excuse the pagans and the people of the scripture (Christians and Jews) as Allah ordered them, and they used to be patient when annoyed (by them). Allah said: 'You shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you and from the pagans (3.186)

{Sahih Al Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 73, Hadith 226 (6207)}

He said he doesn't take the help of the mushrikeen.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to him: Do you believe in Allah and His Messenger? He said: No. The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: Go back, I will not seek help from a Mushrik (polytheist)

[Sahih Muslim (3/1449) No. 1817]

People like to claim historical figures for themselves even though they do not follow that historical figure.

The hanafis claim Abu Hanifa (RA) for themselves but they believe Allah (SWT) is everywhere.

Abu Hanifa (RA) used to make takfeer on people who say Allah (SWT) is everywhere.

When they worship the sun, the moon and the stars, they were in manifest error because Allah (SWT) refuted such people in Surah 41:37.

And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.

(Fussilat 41:37)

Iblees caused people to worship the sun instead of Allah (SWT).

Allah (SWT) told us what the bird said about Balqees and her people who were worshipping the sun.

"I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given all things that could be possessed by any ruler of the earth, and she has a great throne. "I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah, and Shaitan (Satan) has made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and has barred them from (Allah's) Way, so they have no guidance,"

(An-Naml 27:23-24)

Even the bird understood Tawheed.

The bird understood the web of the Satan.

Allah (SWT) told us how Abraham (AS) continued to give the dawah with his people and his dad.

"O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path. "O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah). "O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." He (the father) said: "Do you reject my gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)? If you stop not (this), I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely before I punish you." Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "Peace be on you! I will ask Forgiveness of my Lord for you. Verily! He is unto me, Ever Most Gracious. "And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allah. And I shall call on my Lord; and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord."

(Maryam 19:43-48)

Abraham (AS) was a prophet but his father was not so Abraham (AS) had knowledge which his father did not have.

The moment you worship idols, you are worshipping Satan.

Hindus and Buddhists are worshipping the Satan.

Abraham's (AS) father said he's going to stone his own son, Abraham (AS) if he doesn't stop giving him the dawah and establishing the hujjah against him.

Abraham (AS) told his father he is going to make dua for him and beg Allah (SWT) to forgive him.

Allah (SWT) spoke about this in the Qur'an.

And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah , he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient.

(At-Tawbah 9:114) Sahih International

Abraham (AS) wanted to fulfil his promise so he asked Allah (SWT) to forgive his father.

When Abraham (AS) discovered his father was an enemy of Allah (SWT), he made baraa (disassociation) from him.

You are not allowed to make baraa from a Muslim.

You make baraa from hypocrites and kaafirs.

When you make baraa you don't give salaam or answer it.

If you boycott a Muslim for one year, it is like killing him.

Narrated By Abu Khirash as-Sulami: Abu Khirash heard the Apostle of Allah (SAW) say: "If one keeps apart from his brother for a year, it is like shedding his blood."

[Sunan Abu Dawud (4/279) No. 4915, Musnad Ahmad (4/220) No. 17964, al-Adab al-Mufrad al-Bukhari No. 404, Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/180) No. 7292, Shu'ab al-Iman al-Bayhaqi (9/26) No. 6207, al-Mu’jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani (22/308 No. 780]

Abraham (AS) made baraa from his father because he discovered his father was unrelenting.

When Abraham's (AS) people left the city to go to a pagan festival, he grabbed the opportunity to go to the temple, which was packed with idols.

He took his axe with him and he smashed the idols.

Abraham's (AS) people invited him to the festival with him but he said innee saqeem (I am sick).

This was one of the three lies of Abraham (AS).

Ibn Shihab said he did not hear that exemption was granted in anything what the people speak as lie but in three cases: in battle, for bringing reconciliation amongst persons and the narration of the words of the husband to his wife, and the narration of the words of a wife to her husband (in a twisted form in order to bring reconciliation between them)

[Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Hadith 6303]

Allah (SWT) spoke about Abraham breaking the idols in Surah 37:91-93.

Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand.

(As-Saffat 37:91-93)

He asked the idols why they don't eat the food that the people offered to them.

He asked them why they don't speak.

He started to strike them with his right hand.

He smashed all the idols except the big one and he hung the axe around its neck.

He was satisfied that he broke the idols because he made a pledge that he is going to expose the foolishness of their religion for them to realise their religion is a concoction of human folly.

When his people returned, they were shocked to see the destruction of their gods and they were devastated.

This is exactly what the Taliban did in Afghanistan.

They destroyed the Buddha because the Afghans used to be Buddhists.

The Taliban should be commended for what they did.

They stopped the evil with their hands.

Afghanistan Taliban Muslims destroying Bamiyan Buddha Statues ::::

Abraham (AS) did the same thing by breaking the idols.

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith”

[Sahih Muslim (1/69) No. 49, Musnad Ahmad (3/10) No. 11088, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/145) No. 4013, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/469) No. 2172, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/296) No. 1140, Sunan al-Nasa'i (8/112) No. 5009]

The scholar, Yusuf Qardawi, who said the Taliban shouldn't have broken the idol is wrong.

When the people came back, they were wondering who could have destroyed their idols.

They said: "Who has done this to our aliha (gods)? He must indeed be one of the wrong-doers." They said: "We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham)." They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." They said: "Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)?" [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!"

(Al-Anbiya 21:59-63)

So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)." Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said) : "Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!" [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you? "Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah! Have you then no sense?"

(Al-Anbiya 21:64-67)

When they called Abraham for a public inquiring, he grabbed the opportunity with both hands to give the dawah publicly, to refute them publicly and to confound them publicly.

They said: "Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)?"
[Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!" So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)." Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!" [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you "Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah Have you then no sense?" They said: "Burn him and help your aliha (gods), if you will be doing"

(Al-Anbiya 21:62-68)

The courtroom was told to us by Allah (SWT) in the above-mentioned ayahs.

They built a huge fire to throw Abraham (AS) in it.

The fire was so big, they had to use a catapult to throw Abraham (AS) in it.

Narrated By Um Sharik: the Messenger of Allah (SAW) ordered that the salamander should be killed and said, "It (i.e. the salamander) blew (the fire) on Abraham."

[Sahih Bukhari (4/141) No. 3359]

All the animals tried to put out the fire except the ghecko.

They even stripped Abraham (AS) naked before they dumped in the fire to disgrace him.

Kaafirs will always strip the believers naked to disgrace them.

This is what the American soldiers did in Iraq when they captured the Mujahideen.

Fidel Castro put up a poster publicising it, saying the Americans preach human rights to the communist but fail to practice it themselves.

Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]! Have you then no sense?

(Al-Baqarah 2:44)

So the first person to be clothed on Judgment Day is Abraham because they stripped him naked in Iraq before dumping him in the fire.

At first, the dead will be resurrected in the clothes that they died in (Ibn Hibban-sahih), but will later be removed so that everybody during the assembly will be naked, uncircumcised and barefoot. Aishah r.a was wondering how is it that men and women will not be ashamed of seeing each other being naked. Prophet replied that the they are too afraid of what is coming that they don't even bother to look at each other (Bukhari). The first to be clothed on that day will Ibrahim as

Allah (SWT) told you in Surah 5:82, those who hate Muslims the most will be Jews and idol worshippers.

You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

(Al-Ma'idah 5:82)

A barelvi is also a pagan, not just the Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh.

The barelvi worships the grave and Muhammad (SAWS) said the grave is an idol.

Hamza Yusuf tells the Muslims they can call on Muhammad (SAWS).

Barelvis hate Muslims and they call you a wahabi.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "O Allah! Do not make my grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible."

[Muwatta Malik (1/223) No. 570, Musannaf Abdur Razzaq (1/406) No. 1587, Musnad Ahmad (2/246) No. 7352]

Its not just statues that are idols; the grave is also an idol.

Allah (SWT) said pagans hate the Muslims the most.

A pagan is a brain dead human filth, a low life scum of the earth, spineless hypocrite

ungrateful serpent who is suffering from animal stupidity

pathetic insanity and chronic hypocrisy

who shall abide in hell forever.

Allah (SWT) has made it haram for you to seek forgiveness from the mushrikeen in Surah 9:113.

When they threw Abraham in the fire, they were expecting him to die.

It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allah's Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief).

(At-Tawbah 9:113)

We (Allah) said: "O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!"

(Al-Anbiya 21:69)

Allah (SWT) commanded the fire not to burn his servant, Abraham (AS).

So the only thing that got burnt were the ropes they used to tie him.

When he was in the fire, it was as if he was in a garden.

The people who watched, their faces were burnt.

But Abraham (AS) who was in the fire did not get burnt.

When Nimrod heard about this he became sad and apprehensive that the newfound fame of Abraham (AS) would pull the rug from underneath his kingdom.

So Nimrod invited Abraham for a debate.

Allah (SWT) spoke about it in the Qur'an.

Have you not looked at him who disputed with Ibrahim (Abraham) about his Lord (Allah), because Allah had given him the kingdom? When Ibrahim (Abraham) said (to him) : "My Lord (Allah) is He Who gives life and causes death." He said, "I give life and cause death." Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "Verily! Allah causes the sun to rise from the east; then cause it you to rise from the west." So the disbeliever was utterly defeated. And Allah guides not the people, who are Zalimun (wrongdoers, etc.).

(Al-Baqarah 2:258)

Nimrod set a criminal free and chopped off the head of an innocent man.

He said he gives life and causes death.

Abraham (AS) said his Lord causes the sun to rise from the east to the west.

He asked Nimrod to cause the sun to rise from the west.

Nimrod lost the debate.

When Abraham (AS) found out the hearts of his people are sealed, he decided to make hijrah with his wife, Sarah.

Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them) : "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination!

(An-Nisa 4:97)

Allah (SWT) spoke about hijrah in the above-mentioned ayah.

Hijrah is compulsory from darul harb (Land of War).

Abraham (AS) went to a land called Ur.

Then he went to Palestine.

From Palestine, he went to Egypt.

When the King of Egypt saw Sarah who was very beautiful. The king asked who she is. Abraham (AS) said she is his sister.

Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said: Ibrahim never lied in anything except on three occasions : When he said, “I am sick” though he was not sick, and when he said about Sarah, “She is my sister,” and when he said, “Rather, the biggest of them has done it.”

[Tirmidhi 3177, Ahmed 9252, Bukhari 2217, Muslim 2371, Abu Dawud 2212]

This was the third lie of Abraham (AS).

Abraham (AS) will say on Judgment Day that he can't intercede because he told three lies.

Lut who was Abraham's (AS) nephew believed in Abraham's (AS) message.

So Lout (Lot) believed in him [Ibrahim's (Abraham) Message of Islamic Monotheism]. He [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "I will emigrate for the sake of my Lord. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

(Al-'Ankabut 29:26)

The testosterone of the king got the better of him when he saw Sarah and he tried to grab her.

His hand became deformed.

He said to Sarah to pray to her Lord to cure her and he said he wouldn't try to do it again.

He tried to grab Hajar again. He went back on his promise.

He said to Sarah to pray to her Lord to cure her and he said he won't try to do it again the second time.

His hand became deformed again.

He gave Hajar as a gift to Sarah.

Hajar is the mother of Ismail.

Hajar is the mother of the Arabs.

The Arabs are from the lineage of Ismail.

The Jews are from the lineage of Ishaq.

Abraham got himself circumcised with a sharp axe when he was 80 years old.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said "The Prophet) Abraham circumcised himself after he had passed the age of eighty years and he circumcised himself with an adze."

{Sahih Al Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 74, Hadith 313}

Circumcision is compulsory for boys according to Ahmad ibn Hanbali.

Narrated By Abu Huraira: I heard the Prophet saying. "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, cutting the moustaches short, clipping the nails, and depilating the hair of the armpits."

[Al-Bukhari (6297) and Muslim (496)]

The Hanbali Madhab says Circumcision is FARD (Compulsory) based on the above-mentioned hadith.

Abraham (AS) went to Makkah from Egypt and he built the kabah.

When he went to Makkah, he made a Dua'a to Allah (SWT) to bless it with safety, security and prosperity.

This dua can be found in Surah 2:126.

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He (Allah) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!"

(Al-Baqarah 2:126)

Secondly, Abraham (AS) begged Allah (SWT) to bless the bloodline of Ismail, to make it a Muslim bloodline

"Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

(Al-Baqarah 2:128)

So expect to find more Muslims that are Arabs than Jews.

It is because of this dua that Makkah is safe and rich.

The Jews said to Musa, "you and your Lord go and fight".

The sahabas said to the Prophet (SAWS) to go and fight with his lord and they said they would fight with him.

Narrated By Abdullah (bin Masud): On the day of Badr, Al-Miqdad said, "O Allah's Apostle! We do not say to you as the children of Israel said to Moses, 'Go you and your Lord and fight you two; we are sitting here, (5.24) but (we say). "Proceed, and we are with you." That seemed to delight Allah's Apostle greatly.

[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 6, Book 60, Hadith #133]

"Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allah answered their invocation by sending Muhammad Peace be upon him), who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Qur'an) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islamic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophet Hood.) and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

(Al-Baqarah 2:129)

Allah (SWT) answered Abraham's (AS) dua by sending Muhammad (SAWS).

The coming of Muhammad (SAWS) is all because of the dua of Abraham (AS).
