Question and Answer AT ROOM {DECEMBER 2013}

QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION

ALLAH'S (SWT) SUNNAH CANNOT BE CHANGED {December 15/16 2013}

QUESTION 1)
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE WORD HANIFA AS MENTIONED IN QURAN?

ANSWER 1

Hanifa means upright

So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah's Fitrah (i.e. Allah's Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalqillah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir AtTabari, Vol 21, Page 41]

(Ar-Rum 30:30)

QUESTION 2)
CAN MANKIND OPPRESS ANGELS AND JINN?

ANSWER 2

Yes you can oppress the jinn.

Why do you think the Prophet said not to make istinja with bones?

Bones are the food of the jinns.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he used to carry a vessel for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to do wudoo’ and clean himself after answering the call of nature. Whilst he was following him, he (the Prophet) asked, “Who is that?” He said: “I am Abu Hurayrah.” He said: “Get me some stones I can use to clean myself, but do not bring me any bones or dung.” So I brought him some stones, carrying them in the hem of my garment, and placed them by his side, then I went away. When he had finished, I came back and asked him, “What is wrong with bones and dung?” He said: “They are the food of the jinn.” (Reported by al-Bukhari, 3571).

By hating the angel, you did injustice to the angel.

Allah spoke about the Jews in the Qur'an.

The Jews don't like the angel Gabriel.

They said the angel Gabriel informed on them.

Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) : "Whoever is an enemy to Jibrael (Gabriel) (let him die in his fury), for indeed he has brought it (this Qur'an) down to your heart by Allah's Permission, confirming what came before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and guidance and glad tidings for the believers. Whoever is an enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Jibrael (Gabriel) and Mikael (Michael), then verily, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers." (Al-Baqarah 2:97-98)

The Jews had a problem with the angel Gabriel revealing the Qur'an to Muhammad which exposed them.

The Qur'an exposed the crimes of the Jews against humanity and Allah when they worshipped the golden calf.

Surah Baqarah exposes the sins of the Jews.

QUESTION 3)
HOW DO WE COPE WITH THE PEOPLE REJECTING THE HAQQ AND FIGHTING AGAINST IT, WETHER IT BE OUR FAMILIES, THE MUSLIMS COMMUNITY, OR FROM THE KUFAAR? CAN YOU GIVE US SOME PROPHETIC TRADITIONS?

ANSWER 3:

The Prophet Muhammad suffered the same thing that you are describing.

Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab were the enemies of the Prophet.

And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayatin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafseer Qurtubi, Vol.7, Page 67)

(Al-An'am 6:112)

O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All Knower.

(Al-Ma'idah 5:54)

My advice to you is to continue to do the dawah and not fear the blame of the blamers.

There will always be blamers.

And thus We have set up in every town great ones of its wicked people to plot therein. But they plot not except against their own selves, and they perceive (it) not.

(Al-An'am 6:123)

O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(At-Taghabun 64:14)

There are two hizbs in life: hizb Allah (the party of Allah) and hizb shaitaan (the party of Shaitaan).

Allah is telling you there will be opposition in your family in the above-mentioned verse.

You should ignore the blame of the blamers and continue to do the dawah.

QUESTION 4)
WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON REMINDING A BROTHER TO AT LEAST SAY “INSHALLAH” IF HE INSISTS THE BAD BUSINESS BEHAVIOR OF ANOTHER BROTHER WILL CONTINUE, EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT?

ANSWER 4:

when ever you are making a promise or assumption, we should always say "insha Allah"

And never say of anything, "Indeed, I will do that tomorrow," Except [when adding], "If Allah wills." And remember your Lord when you forget [it] and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to what is nearer than this to right conduct."

(Al-Kahf 18:23-24)

QUESTION 2)
SHAIKH SAID THAT IF A PERSON DOES A BAD THING AND PEOPLE HIM, THIER SINS WILL BE CARRIED BY HIM IN THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT. BUT IN ISLAM NO ONE WILL CARRY ANY OTHER PERSON SIN?

ANSWER 2:

Jareer ibn 'Abdullah al-Bajali (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Whoever starts a good thing and is followed by others, will have his own reward and a reward equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in any way. Whoever starts a bad thing and is followed by others, will bear the burden of his own sin and a burden equal to that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in any way.'"

THE STORY OF PROPHET ISMAIL {29 December 2013}

QUESTION 1)
I HEARD THAT THE SACRIFICE OF ABRAHAM AND ISMAIL SIGNIFIES THE BLOODSHED OF THE ARABS IN THE END TIMES. CAN YOU COMMENT ON THIS?

ANSWER 1:

This is the first time I am hearing this.

There is a hadith that said people will envy the Arabs for their prestige and that people will kill the Arabs.

Those who envy the Arabs for their prestige are the Jews.

The ones that are killing the Arabs are the Jews. The Jews also use white people to kill the Arabs.

By using the white folks to kill Arabs, they are ensuring the continuity of the Jewish race.

They think they are turning gentiles against gentiles.
The only way Islam can spread is by sacrifice.

So we commemorate Ismail as the sacrificial son when we celebrate Eid ul Adha.

Islam is a tree which grows with the blood of the shuhada.

WHY DID ALLAH TELL THE DESERT ARABS DON'T SAY YOU ARE BELIEVERS, SAY YOU ARE MUSLIMS?

The Bedouins say: "We believe." Say: "You believe not but you only say, 'We have surrendered (in Islam),' for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger (SAW), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Al-Hujurat 49:14)

The reason was because these people were new Muslims.

There was a drought and they asked the Prophet to feed them because they are believers.

They were not believers because iman had not entered into their hearts fully.
They were Muslims because they had submitted.

Allah was distinguishing between a believer and a Muslim.

Allah was not making takfeer.

Allah was differentiating between a believer and a Muslim.

One of the conditions of shahada is certainty.

They had not reached the level of being believers yet.

There are different levels of paradise because there are different levels of iman.

The Prophet made a difference between the Muslim and the believer when he was giving out the booty.

He said he can't see a Muslim or a believer.

The mu'min abstains from major haram.

The Muslim might drink alcohol or have a girlfriend.

The Prophet said the fornicating person is not a mu'min in the act.

The Prophet meant the man is not a mu'min in the act but he is still a Muslim.

QUESTION 2)
SOME ARABS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE SYRIANS, THEY ARE GOING THERE AND HAVING MUTTAH WITH THE WOMEN, AND DUMP THEM AFTER A WHILE. WHAT IS THE RULING ON THESE PEOPLE, AND THE ONE WHO IS FINDING THE WOMEN FOR THE MEN THERE?

ANSWER 2:

Whenever you are suffering, people always exploit you because you are vulnerable.

Muttah marriage has been made haram until judgment day.

The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. {At -Taubah 9:71}

The refugees are desperate and they have no money.

You are not supposed to be exploiters of each other.

Those who are taking advantage of the Syrian women are very selfish. They wouldn't like someone to take advantage of their aunt, sister or mother.

Everyone is cashing in on the disaster.

Its is disaster because there is a massacre taking place.

Syrian women are very beautiful women so it is not surprising that the Saudis are taking advantage.
