18 The Story Of THe Prophet ISA (AS) Jesus By Shaikh Faisal {FEB 05 2014}

{The Miraculous of Birth of ISA (AS)}

THE STORY OF THE PROPHET
ISA (AS) JESUS

(CHAPTER 28)

04 RABI AL THANI 1435 HIJRI / 05 FEB 2014

BY SHAIKH ABDULLAH AL FAISAL

Edited By Abu Hafiza & Jansep2001

- This story is very important because the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said that he is closest to Jesus (AS).

- There is no prophet between Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and Jesus (AS).

Narrated Salman: The interval between Jesus and Muhammad was six hundred years

{Sahih al-Bukhari 3948 & Vol. 5, Book 58, Hadith 284}

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between Jesus and me.

{Sahih Muslim 2365 & Book 30, Hadith 5835}

- Jesus (AS) is considered one of the fives strong willed Prophets.

- The five strong willed prophets are Noah (AS), Abraham (AS), Moses (AS), Jesus (AS), and Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

- They were call as such because of their sacrifices for Tawheed.

- Jesus (AS) was the seal of the prophet to the Bani Israel because he was the final prophet sent to them.

- As for Muhammad ((Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)) was sent to the entire world.

And We have sent you (O Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

(Al-Anbiya 21:107)

Narrated Thawban: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Allah, the Exalted, There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah's) prophet, where as I am the seal of the Prophets after whom (me) there will be no prophet

{Sunan Abi Dawud 4252 & Book 36, Hadith 4239 and Book 37, Hadith 13}

- On top of that he ((Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)) was also sent for jinns.

- Muslims regard Jesus midway between two extremes because Jews consider Jesus to be a bastard child.

- They also reject him as a prophet and they call his mother (Mary) as a harlot

JEWS SINGING: “JESUS IS A BASTARD”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KliaqV1uYDs

- Claiming that she has affairs with carpenters; these are evil claims from the Jews.

- Jews even manipulate others to fight the Muslims; so the Jews reject Jesus.

- Now for the Christians, they are the opposite, they consider him divine, it first started in the Council of Nicaea.

http://www.thenazareneway.com/council_of_nicaea_nicea_325.htm Council of Nicaea (325)

- Hence Allah (SWT) considered them disbelievers.

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.

(Al-Ma'idah 5:72-73)

- As for the Muslims, we are in the middle of these two extremes.

- Muslims do not exaggerate in our admiration of any prophets including Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

- As for sects such as Barelvi, they exaggerate in their admiration of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) similar to what Christians do with Jesus (AS).

You can call on muhammed hamza yusuf: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFezsaQnzhk

Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (RA), who said that the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “They will follow the ways of those who came before them, handspan by handspan, cubit by cubit, until even if they entered a lizard’s hole they will follow them.” We said: “O Messenger of Allah, (do you mean) the Jews and Christians?” He said: “Who else?”

[Al-Bukhari (3456) and Muslim (2669)]

- So they both pray toward their respected prophets.

- There are only two religions in the entire world that believes in Jesus (AS).

- Which is two religions now?

Islam and Christianity because of that, there will be unity between these two religion in order to fight the anti-Christ.

- Example what is the uniting factor between Sunni and Shia? Palestine

- Example what will unite Christians and Muslims? Jesus (AS)

- During the battle of Armageddon, there will be unity between Muslims and Christians

- After this battle, the Muslims and Christians will be victorious.

- So a Christian will say this victory is due to the cross and a Muslim because of the ghaira he has for his deen, will kill the Christian.

- Hence another battle will break through between Christians and Muslims.

POPE FRANCIS CALL FOR UNITY http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2013/march-web-only/why-pope-francis-excites-most-evangelical-leaders-bergoglio.html

Narrated BY Abu Hurayrah Allah's Apostle Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: The Last Hour will not come until the Romans land at al-A'maq or in Dabiq. An army consisting of the best (soldiers) of the people on Earth at that time will come from Medina (to oppose them). When they arrange themselves in ranks, the Romans will say: Do not stand between us and those (Muslims) who took prisoners from among us. Let us fight them. The Muslims will say: Nay, by Allah, we shall never turn aside from you and from our brethren so that you may fight them. They will then fight and a third (part) of the army, whom Allah will never forgive, will run away. A third (part of the army), which will be constituted of excellent martyrs in Allah's eyes, would be killed. The third who will never be put on trial will win and they will be the conquerors of Constantinople. As they are busy in distributing the spoils of war (amongst themselves) after hanging their swords by the olive trees, Satan will cry: The Dajjal has taken your place among your families. They will then come out, but it will be of no avail. When they reach Syria, he will come out while they are still preparing themselves for battle, drawing up the ranks. Certainly, the time of prayer will come and then Jesus (peace be upon him), son of Mary, descend and will lead them in prayer. When the enemy of Allah see him, it will (disappear) just as salt dissolves in water and if he (Jesus) were not to confront them at all, even then it would dissolve completely. Allah would kill them by his hand and he would show them their blood on his lance (the lance of Jesus Christ).

(Hadith - Muslim #6924,)

- 1/3 of the Muslims will become martyrs, another third will run away, and the last third will be victorious.

Pope Francis Now Urges All Religions To Unite http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=13423

- The mother of Jesus is known as Maryam bint Imran: which was from the lineage of David (AS).

- The mother of Maryam made a dua for the foetus for it to be a boy because she wanted to dedicated that boy to the temple; because In those days, only boys were allowed to be in the temple.

- But still Allah (SWT) blessed Maryam and made her special

- Muslims also believe in the immaculate conception.

(Remember) when the wife of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I have vowed to You what (the child that) is in my womb to be dedicated for Your services (free from all worldly work; to serve Your Place of worship), so accept this, from me. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knowing." Then when she delivered her [child Maryam (Mary)], she said: "O my Lord! I have delivered a female child," - and Allah knew better what she delivered, - "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Maryam (Mary), and I seek refuge with You (Allah) for her and for her offspring from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast."

(Aali Imran 3:35-36)

So her Lord (Allah) accepted her with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya (Zachariya). Every time he entered Al-Mihrab to (visit) her , he found her supplied with sustenance. He said: "O Maryam (Mary)! From where have you got this?" She said, "This is from Allah." Verily, Allah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit."

(Aali Imran 3:37)

- Christians burn the Quran; which contains a chapter called Maryam and Jesus was mentioned 93 times in the Quran.

And mention in the Book (the Qur'an, O Muhammad SAW , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects. She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah." (The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son." She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"

(Maryam 19:16-20)

He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah) : And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).' " So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem). And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!" Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you; "And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you."

(Maryam 19:21-25)

"So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.'" Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing). "O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman." Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

(Maryam 19:26-29)

"He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;" "And He has made me blessed wheresoever's I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live." "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest. ("And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!" Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).

(Maryam 19:30-34)

- Scholars of islam say if you are suffering excruciating pain and if you wish death, you did nothing wrong due to ayah 23.

- Maryam wished she were unknown because she was pregnant and she was ashamed.

- During the shariah of Moses, their fasting was to abstain from food/drink and even from talking.

- she gave birth to the baby in Bethlehem (Bayt Lahm).

- People blamed her saying "you brought something terrible" due to the fact she was still single.

Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing). "O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."

(Maryam 19:27-28)

- So the argument of the people was that if you mother was noble so should you; so they were blaming her to give birth to such baby being single.

- So Maryam pointed toward the baby and the people wondered how they can speak to a baby how can a baby be her advocate.

- So they jumped to the conclusion that Maryam was making a mockery.

- However the baby spoke from his cradle.

- Maryam pointed to the baby because it already spoke to her beforehand and she was confident that the baby itself can explain the entire situation.

Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"  "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;" "And He has made me blessed wheresoever's I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live."

(Maryam 19:29-30)

"And He has made me blessed wheresoever's I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live." "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.

(Maryam 19:31-32)

And (remember) when Allah said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Iesa (Jesus) is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'an] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."

(Aali Imran 3:55)

- About this immaculate conception, Allah (SWT) says it is similar to Adam (AS).

Verily, the likeness of 'Iesa (Jesus) before Allah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: "Be!" - and he was.

(Aali Imran 3:59)

- However Adam's (AS) creation was a bigger miracle than that of Jesus (AS).

- So Christians don't have a proper excuse to worship Jesus (AS).

(Remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection). "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Remember My Favour to you and to your mother when I supported you with RuhulQudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)] so that you spoke to the people in the cradle[] and in maturity; and when I taught you writing, AlHikmah (the power of understanding), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you made out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My Permission, and you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My Permission, and you healed those born blind, and the lepers by My Permission, and when you brought forth the dead by My Permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from you (when they resolved to kill you) since you came unto them with clear proofs, and the disbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.' "

(Al-Ma'idah 5:110)

- During the life of Jesus (AS), he performed a lot of miracles.

-  His first miracle was to speak right after his birth and from the cradle

- There is no other holy spirit except angel Jibreel

- The miracle of Jesus (AS) speaking from the cradle is not found in the Bible

- The miracle of Jesus (AS) speaking right after his birth is also not found in the Bible.

- So a Christian must use the Quran to learn about these miracles.

- Some of the miracles of Jesus included bringing people back from the dead.

- The Jews argued that you brought back people who died recently claiming that they might be in a coma.

- So Jesus (AS) brought back a son of  (AS) from the dead.

And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection) : "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my innerself though I do not know what is in Yours, truly, You, only You, are the All Knower of all that is hidden and unseen.

(Al-Ma'idah 5:116)

- Because of these miracles, the Christians exaggerated their admiration for Jesus (AS).

"Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: 'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world).

(Al-Ma'idah 5:117)

CHAPTER 1: IS JESUS GOD?

- According to the bible, Jesus is not our God.

- The claims from the Bible is totally different from the claims of Christians

And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.

(Mark 12:28-29) King James Version

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

(Matthew 19:17) King James Version

- These bible verses show that Jesus (AS) is not God; because Jesus said OUR God is one Lord.

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

(John 14:28) King James Version

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

(John 5:30) King James Version

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. (John 20:17) King James Version

And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

(Mark 11:12) King James Version

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

(Mark 11:13-14) King James Version

But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

(Matthew 24:36) King James Version

- The Bible and Christians oppose each other.

- The Christians are claiming something completely different from the Bible.

- Jesus even said to his disciples that none of them had seen God face to face.

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

(John 5:37) King James Version

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

(Hebrews 2:9) King James Version

DESCRIPTION OF JESUS (AS)

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. In the Mi‘raj the Messiah seen with Moses, Abraham and other prophets by the Holy Prophet, was described by him thus: "I saw Jesus. He was a man of a reddish complexion."

(Bukhari, Kitab al-anbiya, ch. 24)

- He was reddish brown in complexion and medium height has curly hair.

- Jesus came in direct conflict with the Pharisees; Pharisees are the Khawarij of the Jews
- They made up their own religion and hated Jesus with a passion.

- "I saw Jesus, Moses and Abraham. Jesus had a reddish complexion, curly hair and a wide chest."

(ibid., ch. 48)

- Jesus (AS) had the objective to bring them back upon the religion.

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilah (God - Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)[]. Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)."

(At-Tawbah 9:31)

- Jesus (AS) said these Pharisees were the children of the devil.

And because of their (Jews) disbelief and uttering against Maryam (Mary) a grave false charge (that she has committed illegal sexual intercourse);

(An-Nisa 4:156)

- They Pharisees were the one who claimed Maryam committed adultery.

- Zakariyya (AS) and Yahya (AS) both came into contact with the Pharisees; they were both killed by them.

Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "Verily the most painful punishment on the Day of Judgment are those who kill the prophets or people murdered by the prophet or kill one of his parents, and making statues and knowledgeable people who do not benefit from his knowledge."

[related by Bayhaqi in 'Shu'ab al-Iman' (10/288) No. 7504]

(Remember) when Al-Hawariun (the disciples) said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Can your Lord send down to us a table spread (with food) from heaven?" 'Iesa (Jesus) said: "Fear Allah, if you are indeed believers." They said: "We wish to eat thereof and to be stronger in Faith, and to know that you have indeed told us the truth and that we ourselves be its witnesses." 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: "O Allah, our Lord! Send us from heaven a table spread (with food) that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a festival and a sign from You; and provide us sustenance, for You are the Best of sustainers." Allah said: "I am going to send it down unto you, but if any of you after that disbelieves, then I will punish him with a torment such as I have not inflicted on anyone among (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)."

(Al-Ma'idah 5:112-115)

- Another miracle from Jesus (AS) was that food appeared for him and his disciples from above when they were fasting but this miracle came with the condition.

- That who ever turns away from Allah (SWT) after witnessing the miracle they would be punished severely.

- The food was fish and 1000s came to eat at this gathering.

- This caused jealousy in the ranks of the Pharisees so they plotted against Jesus.

- So the Jews complained about Jesus to Pontius Pilate who ordered that Jesus should be arrested

- They claimed that Jesus was practicing black magic; this is the Christian version.

- So a person called Judas Ascariot sold out Jesus for some silver coin it was 30 pieces of silver to be more precise.

- As for the Muslim version of these events

- When Jesus (AS) realized the Romans were closing in on him.

- Jesus (AS) asked who can sacrifice themselves for me and a young man volunteered twice in a row.

And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]:

(An-Nisa 4:157)

But Allah raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All Powerful, All Wise. And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), but must believe in him ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allah and a human being],before his ['Iesa (Jesus) or a Jew's or a Christian's] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he ['Iesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them

(An-Nisa 4:158-159)

- As for Jesus (AS) to the sky by two angels.

And he ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)] shall be a known sign for (the coming of) the Hour (Day of Resurrection) [i.e. 'Iesa's (Jesus) descent on the earth] . Therefore have no doubt concerning it (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And follow Me (Allah) (i.e. be obedient to Allah and do what He orders you to do, O mankind)! This is the Straight Path (of Islamic Monotheism, leading to Allah and to His Paradise).

(Az-Zukhruf 43:61)

- Jesus (AS) shall return because Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said it and also the Quran claimed it.

Al-nawwas b. Sim’an al-Kilabi said: The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) mentioned the Dajjal (Antichrist) saying: If he comes forth while I am among you I shall be the one who will dispute with him on your behalf, but if he comes forth when I am not among you, a man must dispute on his own behalf, and Allah will take my place in looking after every Muslim. Those of you who live up to his time should recite over him the opening verses of Surat al – Kahf, for they are your protection from his trial. Hudhaifah b. Usaid al-Ansari said: We were sitting in the shade of the chamber of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) discussing (something) and when we mentioned the last hour, our voices rose high. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: The last hour will not come or happen until there appear ten signs before it : the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the coming forth of the beast, the coming forth of Gog and Magog, the Dajjal (Antichrist), (the descent of) Jesus son of Mary, the smoke, three subsidence’s, one in the will issue forth from the Yemen, from the lowest part of Aden, and drive mankind to their place of assembly.

{Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud 4311. In-book reference: Book 39, Hadith 21, English translation: Book 38, Hadith 4297}

- When Jesus (AS) returns, he will do five things

- He shall kill the swine.

- He will destroy the cross.

- He will kill the anti-Christ.

- He will kill Gog and Magog and

- he will kill Gog and Magog by making dua to Allah (SWT)

- He will abolish the jizya.

- Abolish the jizya means, either you take the shahada or die.

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He (Jesus) will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him

{Sunan Abi Dawud 4324. In-book reference: Book 39, Hadith 34. English translation: Book 38, Hadith 4310}

Abu Hurayrah (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The Hour will not begin until the son of Maryam descends among you as a just ruler. He will break the cross, kill the pigs and abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant until no one will accept it.”

[Al-Bukhari (2222) and Muslim (155)]
