Tafsir Surah Qiyaamah {Audio & Note} By Shaikh Faisal {FEBRUARY 12 2014}

Check this out on Chirbit

FEBRARY 12 2014 / 12 RABI AL THANI 1435 HIJRI

BY Shaikh Faisal

Noted Taken By AT6

Edited By Abu Hafiza &

It focuses on tawheed and the hereafter.

I swear by the Day of Resurrection; (Al-Qiyamah 75:1)

Yaumal qiyamah has many names; It has 50 names.

The most important names are:

There is no day after that day.

On that day a lamb will be slaughtered.

An angel will cry out and say to the people of hellfire and paradise that there is no death.

Allah (SWT) gave it that name in Surah 22:1.

O mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour (of Judgement) is a terrible thing.

(Al-Hajj 22:1)

People will come out of their graves on that day.

The first to come out will be the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Verily, the Day of Decision is a fixed time, (An-Naba 78:17)

In the dunya you differ about fiqh, aqeedah and manhaj.

This is why the mujahideen turn on each other in Syria.

Some people believe in shariah and others believe in democracy.

Because you differ in the dunya, Allah (SWT) will Judge between you on the day of Judgment.

All the religions will be there on Judgment day.

You can't escape the punishment of Allah (SWT) on that day.

This is why it is called the enveloping day.

Many scholars, when they are refuting a group they call it hal ataka hadith.

When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. And there can be no denying of its befalling.

It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt;

(Al-Waqi'ah 56:1-3)

It will be a day of gain for the believers.

But it will be a day of loss for the kuffar.

They will regret not obeying the messengers.

People will regret many things on that day.

They will regret the friends they had and they will regret not believing in Islam.

Judgment Day will be on a Friday.

We don't know which Friday. Only Allah (SWT) knows that.

Allah (SWT) swears by Judgment day because it is a very important day.

And I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer). (Al-Qiyamah 75:2)

Allah (SWT) is hereby swearing by the rebuking soul.

Narrated By 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud the Prophet (SAW) saying: "A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which, he is afraid, may fall on him; whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this."

[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 8, Book 75, Hadith #320]

Allah (SWT) swears by the soul which is lawaama (the rebuking soul).

Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?

(Al-Qiyamah 75:3)

He doesn't want to believe in the resurrection.

Because when he was in the dunya his character was very evil.

Man himself said if we should be resurrected, on that day we are going to be losers because we were very evil.

They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? "Even after we are crumbled bones?" They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!"

(An-Nazi'at 79:10-12)

In the dunya they were human garbage.

They were low life scrums of the earth.

If Judgment day is a reality and not a fantasy, the return would be nothing but loss.

People like Ariel Sharon have joined their brothers Nimrod and the Pharaoh in the hellfire.

People like Ariel Sharon and Bush should be saying that if there is a day called Judgment day, it would be a return with loss.

They think there will be no life after they are crumbled bones.

They want to limit the power of Allah (SWT).

Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. (Al-Qiyamah 75:4)

It is the shaitaan that casts these doubts.

We all have a different fingerprint.

The atheist thinks there is no life after death.

The first argument you use against the atheist is the sun.

The atheist wants you to think the world came about by an accident.

He wants you to think no one created the world.

If the sun was closer to us we would die because of intense heat.

If it was further, we would freeze to death.

This is clear evidence that the world was created by Allah (SWT).

We believe in intelligent design.

No one can refute this argument.

The sun is meticulously positioned above our heads to sustain life on earth.

Nay! (Man denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So) he desires to continue committing sins.

(Al-Qiyamah 75:5)

BECAUSE MAN KNOWS HE IS EVIL, human filth, low life scum of the earth, resident of the hellfire

Its called "to give yourself a false sense of security"

To comfort yourself by denying the day of resurrection

He asks "when will be this day"

He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?" (Al-Qiyamah 75:6)

"If there is a day or resurrection, when is it?"

They asked Jesus (AS) the same question

And they say: "When is this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection will be fulfilled) if you are truthful?" Say (O Muhammad SAW) : "The appointment to you is for a Day, which you cannot put back for an hour (or a moment) nor put forward."

(Saba' 34:29-30)

Jesus said to them that he does not know, neither the angels, only Allah (SWT) knows when is judgement day

But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

(Matthew 24:36) King James Version

There will be a huge earthquake on the day of resurrection.

Man will be like a moth that flies around a light bulb.

Man will walk around as if to say he is drunk but he will not be drunk.

Allah (SWT) said Judgment Day will make kids white in their hair.

Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day that will make the children grey-headed (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?

(Al-Muzzammil 73:17)

This is how horrifying Judgment Day is.

How can you escape that day?

Many people think the angel will blow into the trumpet twice.

That is a mistake.

Ibn Taymiyyah said the angel will blow into the trumpet three times.

The first time is to cause horror and terror.

The second blowing is to cause death.

When the angel blows into the trumpet the second time, everybody will die.

Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever.

(Ar-Rahman 55:26-27)

Only Allah (SWT) will remain alive.

Even the angel of death will die when the trumpet is blown into the second time.

The third blowing into the trumpet is to cause resurrection.

The first to be resurrected will be Muhammad (SAW).

When he regains consciousness he will see Prophet Musa (AS) hanging on to one of the pillars of Allah's Throne.

We use the hadith to checkmate the goofy Sufis who claim the throne of Allah (SWT) is not concrete.

Narrated Abu Said: The Prophet said, 'People will be struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to regain consciousness, and behold! There I will see Moses holding one of the pillars of Allah's Throne. I will wonder whether he has become conscious before me of he has been exempted, because of his unconsciousness at the Tur (mountain) which he received (on the earth)." [Sahih Bukhari (4/153) No. 3398]

Musa (AS) was exempted from being resurrected unconscious.

The Sufis are very weak in tawheed.

We will all return to our Lord on that Day.

Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. (Al-Qiyamah 75:12)

You will be returned to be judged and to be shown your deeds.

If you should do an atoms weight of good you shall see it and if you should do an atoms weight of evil you shall see it.

On that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil or good deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions). (Al-Qiyamah 75:13)

Allah (SWT) said man will be informed of everything he did.

The angels are recording your deeds.

They don't need a camera to record your deeds.

So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.

(Az-Zalzalah 99:7-8)

The angels record your deeds to play it back to you on the day of Judgment.

Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds].

(Al-Qiyamah 75:14)

Man's body parts are going to testify against him.

The first limb to testify against you on Judgment day will be your left leg.

Why will Allah (SWT) inspire your body parts to testify against you?

It is because man will deny his evil deeds.

This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] (Ya-Sin 36:65)

So Allah (SWT) will make his body parts testify against him on the day of Judgment.

You are the best person to watch over yourself.

Many celebrities need handlers.

They can't do anything without them.

They need handlers for their clothes and their food.

The handlers are there to watch over them.

But the best person to watch over you is you.

Nay! Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands, legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds]. (Al-Qiyamah 75:14)

Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). (Al-Qiyamah 75:15)

Ayah 16 is talking about a different topic.

Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith.

(Al-Qiyamah 75:16)

It was revealed to correct the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Qur'an),

(Al-Qiyamah 75:17)

And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Qur'an's) recital.

 (Al-Qiyamah 75:18)

Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, (Al-Qiyamah 75:19)

When the angel Jibreal used to come down with the Quran, the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was afraid that he would forget it.

So sometimes he would recite before the angel could come out with the Qur'an properly.

Allah (SWT) corrected the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) with Ayah 16 of Surah Qiyaamah.

By reading Surah 75:16-19, no one can deny that the Qur'an was used to give the Prophet (
Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) good manners.

Were some parts of the Qur'an forgotten?

The answer is yes.

Surah Tawbah was long.

We shouldn't worry about verses that have been forgotten from Surah Tawbah.

Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things?

(Al-Baqarah 2:106)

It is Allah (SWT) who caused them to be forgotten.

We find comfort in Surah Baqarah verse 106.

Surah Tawbah is 129 verses.

Surah Baqarah is 286 verses.

We can't answer why Allah (SWT) caused the verses to be forgotten.

Allah (SWT) knows best.

Does Allah (SWT) have more than 99 names?

Allah (SWT) only revealed 99 names because we can't comprehend the others.

If you should try to understand all the names of Allah (SWT), you will become mentally ill.

So Allah (SWT) kept quiet about some of his names out of mercy.

So don't go seeking after them.

Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,

(Al-Qiyamah 75:20)

Men love the present life of this world.

If you tell him to work hard for the hereafter, he says he wants to have fun now.

They complain Islam is too restrictive.

They complain they can't even have a drink or a girlfriend.

His attitude is that heaven can wait.

He wants to drink and have ten girlfriends now.

The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said haste is from the shaitaan.

Nay, you prefer the life of this world; Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.

(Al-A'la 87:16-17)

Man was created to be hasty.

If you want something, you want it now.

People want fast computers.

People don't want to use the computers that came 10 years ago because they are too slow.

We don't have patience.

Everything has to be quick.

Sahl ibn Sa’d Sa’idi reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Deliberation is from Allah, but haste is from the devil”.

[Sunan Tirmidhi (4/367) No. 2012]

You prefer the life of this world over the hereafter.

And leave (neglect) the Hereafter. (Al-Qiyamah 75:21)

Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). (Al-Qiyamah 75:22)

Looking at their Lord (Allah); (Al-Qiyamah 75:23)

And some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad), (Al-Qiyamah 75:24)

The sincere scholars like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim and Ahmad ibn Hanbal use Surah 75:23 to refute those who say you can't see Allah (SWT) neither in the dunya or in the hereafter.

They refute the khawarij and the shia who say this.

They then quote a Qur'anic verse.

They are trying to use Qur'an to refute Qur'an.

And when Musa (Moses) came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord spoke to him, he said: "O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." Allah said: "You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me." So when his Lord appeared to the mountain[], He made it collapse to dust, and Musa (Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers."

(Al-A'raf 7:143)

The khawarij and the Shiites try to use this verse to say you can't see Allah (SWT) neither in the dunya nor in the akhira.

The tafseer of the ayah is that you can't see Allah (SWT) in the dunya but you will be able to see Him in the akhira.

Thinking that some calamity was about to fall on them; (Al-Qiyamah 75:25)

Peoples' faces will be dark because they think some calamity will befall them.

Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), (Al-Qiyamah 75:26)

The soul is now leaving the body.

And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?" (Al-Qiyamah 75:27)

It has reached the collar bone.

Death is yaqeen.

You can't escape death.

Death will reach you even if you are in fortified columns.

"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!" And if some good reaches them, they say, "This is from Allah," but if some evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you (O Muhammad SAW). " Say: "All things are from Allah," so what is wrong with these people that they fail to understand any word?

(An-Nisa 4:78)

When your soul is leaving your body and reaches your collar bone, who can save you from death?

When a person is possessed by a jinn, you use a raaqi to drive away the jinn.

You can't use a raaqi to cure him from death.

The person will conclude that it is time for him to go.

One leg will be joined with the other leg in the white shroud.

When you made hajj or umrah, you wore a white shroud.

That is the same shroud you will be buried in.

When King Fahd died, he died a pauper because he was buried in a white shroud.

You are buried in cheap cloth.

If you want to spend on a person, you spend on them when they are alive.

They can't enjoy it when they are dead.

Whenever a kaafir dies, his family sometimes spends ten thousand dollars on the coffin.

Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners."

(Ash-Shu'ara 26:29)

Why didn't you spend on them when they were alive?

The expensive coffin won't save them from the hellfire.

That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds.

(Az-Zalzalah 99:6)

In Islam, we don't even bury people in a coffin.

Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), (Al-Qiyamah 75:26)

And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?" (Al-Qiyamah 75:27)

And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); (Al-Qiyamah 75:28)

And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) (Al-Qiyamah 75:29)

The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! (Al-Qiyamah 75:30)

The disbeliever neither believed in the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) nor Judgment day and he didn't pray.

So he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an, in the Message of Muhammad SAW) nor prayed! (Al-Qiyamah 75:31)

"What has caused you to enter Hell?" They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers). "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense.
"Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. (Al-Muddaththir 74:42-48)

But on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad SAW) and turned away!

(Al-Qiyamah 75:32)

Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself! (Al-Qiyamah 75:33)

Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! (Al-Qiyamah 75:34)

Again, woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! (Al-Qiyamah 75:35)

Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?

(Al-Qiyamah 75:36)

You have comitted all manners of evil on the earth.

Do you think that you won't be resurrected and held accountable for what you did?

There is life in the grave.

That life is called the barzakh.

So the barelvis are correct when they said there is life in the grave.

We know there is life in the grave because there is punishment in the grave.

The barelvis go astray by praying to the inhabitants of the graves.

What they don't realise is that Allah (SWT) blocks the hearing of the inhabitants of the graves when they pray to them.

Allah (SWT) blocks their hearing because you are doing shirk.

Allah (SWT) saves them from your fitnah of calling upon them.

If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad SAW) like Him Who is the All Knower (of each and everything).

(Fatir 35:14)

Surah 35:14 is the knockout punch for the grave worshipping barelvis.

Allah (SWT) blocks them from hearing your kufr, shirk and zandaqa.

The ayah is telling you that every grave worshipper is worshipping the grave.

This is because they pray to the graves.

Was he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge of semen) poured forth?

(Al-Qiyamah 75:37)

The sperm that fertilised the egg was so small that you can't look at it with the naked eye.

Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion.

(Al-Qiyamah 75:38)

An alaqa is a clot that clings to the womb of the mother.

The soul is not yet blown into you when you are an alaqa.

This is the second stage (the second 40 days).

You were a leech living of your mother.

The third stage is called the mudgha (the lump of flesh).

That is when the soul is blown in.

Therefore if abortion is done at this stage, it is murder.

If you cause a woman to lose her baby at this stage, you have to pay her 5 camels as compensation.

And made him in two sexes, male and female. (Al-Qiyamah 75:39)

We can't veto the Prophet (SAW) or Allah (SWT).

How can you have rapists roaming around?

Allah (SWT) said we created two sexes.

They were created to ensure the continuity of the human race.

Homosexuality does not ensure the continuity of the human race.

Someone who was considered a fundamentalist said if a kaafir becomes a homosexual we should be happy but if a Muslim becomes a homosexual we should be sad.

We should be happy if a kaafir is gay because their numbers will decrease.

We should be sad if a Muslim becomes gay because we need to outnumber the kuffar.

And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. (Ar-Rum 30:21)

One of the signs of Allah (SWT) is that he created for you wives.

Marriage is compulsory on you if you have sexual needs.

Whenever something is wajib, the prerequisite becomes wajib as well.

Allah (SWT) even swears by the two genders in the Qur'an.

By the night as it envelops; And by the day as it appears in brightness; And by Him Who created male and female;

(Al-Lail 92:1-3)

Without the two genders the human race will grind to a halt.

It's natural for you to be attracted to the opposite gender.

Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/57) No. 1456, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/158) No. 4462, Sunan Ibn Majah (3/594) No. 2561, Musnad Ahmad (1/300) No. 2732]

Is not He (Allah Who does that), Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is Able to do all things).

(Al-Qiyamah 75:40)

Allah (SWT) is asking a question in the above ayah.

The answer to the question is yes.

Allah (SWT) is able to do all things.

Nothing is impossible for Allah (SWT).
