{Noted} PARADISE DESCRIBED Part 1 {THE 7 LEVELS OF PARADISE} {MARCH 22 & 23 2014}

PARADISE DESCRIBED
{THE 7 LEVELS OF PARADISE}

MARCH 22 2013 / 20 JUMADA AL AWWAL 1435 HIJRI

BY SHAIKH ABDULLAH AL FAISAL

NOTED TAKEN BY @AT6

THE SOIL OF PARADISE

The soil of Paradise is musk.

The pebbles of Paradise are made from pearls and rubies.

The buildings of Paradise are made from silver and gold.

Reported that the Prophet (saw) said, "I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (saw), from what are people made?" He said, "From water." We asked, "From what is Paradise built?" He said, "Bricks of gold and silver and mortar of fragrant musk; its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it is blessed with joy and will never be miserable; he will remain there forever and never die; his clothes will never wear out, and his youth will never fade away."

[Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/89, no. 5630] {Ahmad at-Tirmidhi and ad-Daarimi}

THE DHIKR OF PARADISE

The dhikr of Paradise is subhanallah walhamdulillah wala ilaha illallah wallahu Akbar.

When you make that dhikr, the trees of Jannah will grow.

Reported by Ibn Mas’ud (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “I met Ibrahim (AS) on the Night of Ascension, and he said to me: O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Ummah, and tell them that Jannah has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. It is a plain-levelled land. The plants grow there by uttering ‘Subhan-Allah, Al-hamdu lillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar (Allah is free from imperfection; praise be to Allah; there is no true god except Allah; and Allah is the Greatest).” [Tirmidhi]

It is with the dhikh of Allah that you hearts will find contentment

Dhikr is not just in the dunya.

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. (Ra'd 13:28)

There is dhikr in Jannah.

And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise more than they used to know their houses in the world).

(Muhammad 47:6)

When you enter Paradise, you will be able to recognise it.

You will be able to recognise your abode in Paradise better than you could recognise your homes in the dunya

Narrated By Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle said, "...by Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, everyone of them will know his dwelling in Paradise better than he knew his dwelling in this world."

[Sahih Bukhari, Volume: 8, Book 76, Hadith 542]

There are seven paradises but every paradise has 100 levels

Narrated By Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle, no matter whether he fights in Allah's Cause or remains in the land where he is born." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle ! Shall we acquaint the people with the good news?" He said, "Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the Mujahideen who fight in His Cause, and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the Earth. So, when you ask Allah (for something), ask for Al-firdaus which is the best and highest part of Paradise." (i.e. The sub-narrator added, "I think the Prophet also said, 'Above it (i.e. Al-Firdaus) is the Throne of Beneficent (i.e. Allah), and from it originate the rivers of Paradise.")

[Sahih Bukhari: Volume: 4 Book 56 Chapter 4 Hadith 2790]

THE SEVEN LEVELS OF PARADISE

The first level is called Firdaws.

It is the seventh paradise and it is the highest.

At the roof of Firdaws is the arsh of Allah (SWT).

Firdaws is not just for the prophets. It is for the sincere believers as well, muminoon.

Allah (SWT) spoke about Firdaws in Surah Al Mu'minun Verse: 1 to 11.

Successful indeed are the believers.

(Al-Mu'minun 23:1)

Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). And those who pay the Zakat . And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame; But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors; Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.)[] and to their covenants; And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). These are indeed the inheritors. Who shall inherit the Firdaus (Paradise). They shall dwell therein forever.

(Al-Mu'minun 23:2-11)

The second paradise is darul maqamah.

This paradise is under firdaws.

Allah (SWT) spoke about it in Surah 35:35.

Who, out of His Grace, has lodged us in a home that will last forever; there, toil will touch us not, nor weariness will touch us."

(Fatir 35:35)

There is no toil or noise in Paradise.

There is no struggle, fatigue, stress.

Ismail reported: I said to ‘Abdullah b. Abi Aufa: Did Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) give glad tidings of Paradise to Khadijah? He said: Yes. He did give glad tidings to her of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there would be no noise and no toil.

[MUSLIM: Book 31, Chapter 12 No 5968]

The fifth paradise is called darus salaam.

Allah (SWT) spoke about daarus salaam in Surah 10:25.

Allah calls to the home of peace (i.e. Paradise, by accepting Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds and abstaining from polytheism and evil deeds) and guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.

(Yunus 10:25)

The fourth paradise is daarul akhira.

And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter, that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew.

(Al-'Ankabut 29:64)

Daarul akhira was made mention of by Allah in Surah 29:64.

The third paradise is Jannati adn.

The Christians call it the garden of Eden.

Jannati adn was made mention of in Surah 9:72.

Allah has promised to the believers -men and women, - Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of 'Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme success.

(At-Tawbah 9:72)

Jannati adn is translated as gardens of eternity.

Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.

(Al-Baiyinah 98:8)

We use the words paradise and heaven interchangeably.

But there is a difference between them.

Adam was in heaven, not paradise.

Allah (SWT) said when you enter paradise you will be there forever.

The keeper of Paradise was commanded by Allah (SWT) not to open the gates of Paradise to anyone before Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

This is one evidence to prove that Adam (AS) was in heaven and not Paradise.

When you enter Paradise, you can't be thrown out.

Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah () said: I will come to the gate of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection. and would seek its opening. and the keeper would say: Who art thou? I would say: Muhammad. He would then say: It is for thee that I have been ordered, and not to open it for anyone before thee.

[Sahih Muslim: Book 1 Chapter 84 Hadith: 384 & Muslim: Book 1, Hadith 394]

No eye has seen what Allah (SWT) has prepared in Paradise.

Sahl b. Sa'd as-Sa'idi reported: I was in the company of Allah's Messenger () that he gave a description of Paradise and then Allah's Apostle () concluded with these words: There would be bounties which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard and no human heart has ever perceived them. He then recited this verse:" They forsake (their) beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what We have given them. So no soul knows what refreshment of the eyes is hidden for them: a reward for what they did" (xxxii. 16-17)

[Sahih Muslim Book 40 Chapter 1 Hadith: 6780 & Muslim Book 54, Hadith 7313]

[40 Hadith Qudsi #37]

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah () said: Allah said: I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, not has it occurred to human heart. Thus recite if you wish (1): And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Quran Chapter 32 Verse 17). (1) The words "Thus recite if you wish" are those of Abu Harayrah.

{It was related by al-Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

This proves that Adam (AS) was in heaven not Paradise.

Another evidence is that Adam (AS) was in heaven is that Iblees has no influence over people in Paradise.

The second paradise is called jannatul ma'wa.

Allah (SWT) made mention of this paradise in Surah 53:15.

Near it is the Paradise of Abode. (An-Najm 53:15)

The lowest paradise is called jannatun naeem.

And if only the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) had believed (in Muhammad SAW) and warded off evil (sin, ascribing partners to Allah) and had become AlMuttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2) We would indeed have blotted out their sins and admitted them to Gardens of pleasure (in Paradise).

(Al-Ma'idah 5:65)

This paradise is for people who were in the hellfire and they were transferred from the hellfire to Paradise.

Some people were in the hellfire because of their vices.

The Prophet begged them to be taken out of hell.

When they are taken out of hell, they will be put in jannatun naeem.

THE RIVERS AND SPRINGS OF PARADISE

Allah (SWT) told you in Surah 2:25 that there are rivers in Paradise.

And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e. in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), (having no menses, stools, urine, etc.) and they will abide therein forever.

(Al-Baqarah 2:25)

RIVER # 1: AL KAUTHAR

The kaafirs were laughing when the Prophet's son died.

This is a Makkan surah so it couldn't have been the prophet’s son Ibrahim who died. It has to be Kasim and Abdullah

Ibrahim was born 6 years after the hijra in Madina.

Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise); Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only). For he who makes you angry (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), - he will be cut off (from every good thing in this world and in the Hereafter).

(Al-Kawthar 108:1-3)

The kuffar were saying Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)  has no son so they were laughing at him.

Kauthar is exclusive to the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and some say to ahlul bayt.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet () said: "While I was walking in Paradise (on the night of Mi'raj), I saw a river, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls. I asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?' He said, 'That is the Kauthar which Your Lord has given to you.' Behold! Its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk!" (The sub-narrator, Hudba is in doubt as to the correct expression.)

[Sahih al-Bukhari 6581 Book 81, Hadith 169]

2. SALSABEEL

The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups); (An-Naba 78:16)

Salsabeel is more like a spring not a river.

A spring there, called Salsabil. (Al-Insan 76:18)

3. TASNEEM

Tasneem is a spring not a river.

It (that wine) will be mixed with Tasnim. A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allah.

(Al-Mutaffifin 83:27-28)

4. KAFUR

Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur.

(Al-Insan 76:5)

Kafur is a spring not a river.

Allah (SWT) said it is a spring.

5. ZANJABIL

Zanjabil means ginger.

And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.),

(Al-Insan 76:17)

Ginger is one of the drinks of Paradise.

The only beer a Muslim can drink is ginger beer.

6. RIVERS OF WATER

7. RIVERS OF MILK

8. RIVERS OF HONEY

9. RIVERS OF WINE

The description of Paradise which the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2) have been promised is that in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine delicious to those who drink; and rivers of clarified honey (clear and pure) therein for them is every kind of fruit; and forgiveness from their Lord. (Are these) like those who shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels?

(Muhammad 47:15)

Sometimes the water in the dunya has a foul smell.

The rivers of water in Paradise don't develop a smell.

The milk in the dunya goes off if not put in the refrigerator.

Sometimes people mix sugar in honey to stretch it. They cheat you.

Hakim bin Mu'awiyah narrated from his father, that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "Indeed in Paradise there is a sea of water, and a sea of honey, and a sea of milk, and a sea of wine, then the rivers shall split off afterwards."

[Jami at-Tirmidhi Vol. 4, Book 12, Hadith 2571]

10. SIHRAN

11. JIHRAN

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger () as saying: Saihan, Jaihan, Euphrates and Nile are all among the rivers of Paradise.

[Sahih Muslim 2839 Book 53, Hadith 30]

12. THE EUPHRATES

13. THE NILE

14. BAARIQ

Ibn 'Abbaas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "The shuhadaa [martyrs] are in a green dome beside the river of Baariq, near the gate of Paradise, from which provision comes to them morning and evening."

[Saheeh al-Jaami' as-Sagheer, 3/235, no. 3636]

After the believers enter Paradise Allah (SWT) will ask them if they want anything extra. They will ask how they can want anything extra.

Allah (SWT) has something extra.

There they will have all that they desire, and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic).

(Qaf 50:35)

The mazeed (extra) is to look at the Face of Allah (SWT).

The khawarij and the mutazilites claim people won't see Allah (SWT).

Their Aqeeda contradicts the Quran, their situation is pitiful, appalling and pathetic.

Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant).Looking at their Lord (Allah);

(Al-Qiyamah 75:22-23)

The rafidites have the same belief.

The above ayah refutes them.

They have the audacity to use a verse to try to checkmate the sunnis.

And when Musa (Moses) came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord spoke to him, he said: "O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." Allah said: "You cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me." So when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Musa (Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers."

(Al-A'raf 7:143)

The ayah they use is Surah 7:143.

We are not going to refute they ayah; we are going to refute your understanding of the ayah.

This ayah applies to the dunya.

You know someone is a deviant when he applies an ayah for the dunya to the akhira or vice versa.

THE FOOD OF JANNAH

1. GRAPES

Gardens and grapeyards; (An-Naba 78:32)

2. DATES

The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) used to break his fast with dates.

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "If one of you is fasting, he should break his fast with dates. If dates are not available, then with water, for water is purifying."

[Ahmad]

It is He Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date palm and its spathe come forth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.

(Al-An'am 6:99)

To break your fast with dates is fard unless you cannot find anything else.

Don't be like some worthless Muslims who search for dates after Ramadan has come.

3. POMEGRANATE

This is mentioned in the above mentioned ayah.

It is also mentioned in Surah 55:68.

In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates.

(Ar-Rahman 55:68)

4. LOTUS

(They will be) among thornless lote-trees,

(Al-Waqi'ah 56:28)

5. OLIVES

And it is He Who produces gardens trellised and untrellised, and date palms, and crops of different shape and taste (its fruits and its seeds) and olives, and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in taste). Eat of their fruit when they ripen, but pay the due thereof (its Zakat, according to Allah's Orders 1/10th or 1/20th) on the day of its harvest, and waste not by extravagance. Verily, He likes not Al-Musrifun (those who waste by extravagance),

(Al-An'am 6:141)

6. THE FIG

By the fig, and the olive, (At-Tin 95:1)

If I had to mention a fruit that descended from the Garden, I would say it is the fig.

(Mukhtasar Tadhkirah al-Qurtubi, p. 313)

7. THE BANANA

The banana is loved and it is one of the fruits of Paradise.

Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another,

(Al-Waqi'ah 56:29)

8. THE GINGER

And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.)

(Al-Insan 76:17)

9. THE WATERMELON

Benefit from the watermelon and respect it, because its juice is from the Garden and its taste is from the Garden … the watermelon is [one of the fruits] of the Garden.

(Mukhtasar Tadhkirah al- Qurtubi, p. 313)

DESCRIPTION OF PARADISE
(PART 2)

{CLOTHING OF PARADISE}

MARCH 23 2014 / 22 JUM AL AWWAL 1435 HIJRI

EDITED BY ABU HAFIZA

The clothing of paradise will be silk and green in color.

“These! For them will be ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them, therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent resting place!”

[Surah Al-Kahf 18:31]

“Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.“

[Surah Al-Haj 22:32]

The clothing of paradise will never wear out.

Clothing of dunya gets old and need patches.

Muslim reports from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever enters Paradise is blessed, and will never be miserable, his clothes will never wear out and his youth will never fade away.”

[Saheeh Muslim Book 40 Chapter 8 Hadith 6802, & Kitaab al-Jannah, Baab fi Dawam Na’eem al-Jannah, 4/2181, no. 2836]

“Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; within gardens and springs, Dressed in [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other.”

[Surah Al-Dukhaan 44:51-53]

THE COMB OF PARADISE

People of paradise will have comb made out of gold and silver.

The Prophet (saw) also told us that the people of Paradise will have combs of gold and silver, and that they will perfume themselves with 'Ud at-Teeb, even though the scent of musk will be emanating from their pure bodies.

Narrates from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (saw) said of those who will enter Paradise: "Their vessels will be of gold and silver, their combs will be of gold and the coals of their incense-burners will be of aloe-wood [Abul-Yaman said, "of 'Ud at-Teeb] and their sweat will be musk."

[Bukhaari Vol: 4 Book 55 Hadith: 469, & Kitaab Bid' al-Khalq, Baab Maa Jaa'a fi Sifat al-Jannah wan-Naar, Fath al-Baari, 6/319]

Sweat of paradise will smell like musk.

There shall be no foul smell in paradise.

The jewellery of paradise will include crowns.

The shaheed will be given crowns to wear.

Their jewellery will include crowns. Tirmidhi and Ibn Maajah report from al-Miqdaam ibn Ma'd Yakrib that among the honors bestowed upon the martyr will be: "there will be placed upon his head a crown of dignity, one ruby of which is better than this world and all that is in it."

[Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/358, no. 3834, Saheeh Muslim, saheeh]

For Muslim men silk and gold is not allowed in dunya.

THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE

The people of paradise will have no body hair and not ill feelings or grudges or envy, any other decease of the heart.

They will have a pure heart.

The people of Paradise will enter in the most perfect and beautiful form, in the image of their father, Aadam (as), for there is no human form more perfect and beautiful than that of Aadam, whom Allah (swt) created very tall. He was as tall as a great palm tree, sixty cubits tall.

Reports from Abu Hurayrah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Allah,

Mu'adh bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said: "The people of Paradise shall enter Paradise without body hair, Murd, with Kuhl on their eyes, thirty years of age or thirty-three years."
[Sunan Tirmidhi (4/682) No. 2545]

Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi report from Mu'aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, looking as if their eyes are ringed with kohl, aged thirty three."

[Saheeh al-Jaami' 6/337, no. 7928]

As reported in the hadith narrated by Bukhaari and Muslim, from Abu Hurayrah (RA), the people of Paradise "will not spit, blow their noses or excrete". The people of Paradise will not sleep. Jaabir ibn 'Abdullaah and 'Abdullaah ibn Abi Awfaa reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "Sleep is the brother of death; the people of Paradise will not sleep"

[Silsilat al-Hadith as-Saheehah, 3/74, no. 1087, al-Kaamil of Ibn 'Adiyy, al-Hilyah of Abu Na'eem, Taareekh Isbahaan, by Abul-Sheikh]

Sleep is the twin sister of death so the people of paradise shall not sleep.

You shall become a new creation in paradise.

The people of paradise will have the strength of 100 men.

Anas reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "The believer in Paradise will be given such and such strength." He was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, will he really be able to do that?" He said, "He will be given the strength of one hundred men."

[It was reported by at-Tirmidhi, Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/90, no. 5636, at-Tirmidhi said: "ghareeb saheeh."]

When you drink from the spring, the heart will become pure, it will get rid of all the heart diseases.

It was reported from Ibn 'Abbaas and 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib that when the people of paradise enter Paradise they will drink from one spring, and Allah (SWT) will remove all sense of injury or hatred from their hearts, then they will drink from another spring, and their faces will become pure and bright

[Al-Qurtubee, at-Tadhkirah, p. 499]

THE SPEECH OF JANNAH

The speech of jannah is pure, there is no evil talk or idle talk or cursing.

Allah (SWT) spoke about the speech of the people of Jannah in surah 52:23

There they shall pass from hand to hand a (wine) cup, free from any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vague talk between them), and free from sin (because it will be legal for them to drink).

(At-Tur 52:23)

This is because the people of jannah have pure hearts.

Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Messenger () saying Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.

{Trans Sahih Al Bukhari Vol: 1 Book 2 Chapter 40 Hadith 52} & {Muslim (1599)}

If your heart is pure than your speech will be pure.

No Laghw (dirty, false, evil talk) shall they hear therein, nor lying;

(An-Naba 78:35)

In dunya when you drink wine/alcohol you talk dirty, however in paradise there shall be no evil speech.

"And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.

(Al-Hijr 15:47)

Because your heart is pure, your speech becomes pure.

THE GREETING OF PARADISE

The greeting of paradise is "as salam 'alaykum".

They shall not hear therein (in Paradise) any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), but only Salam (salutations of peace). And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon. [See (V.40:55)].

(Maryam 19:62)

This is the greeting of dunya and paradise.

(It will be said to them) : Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful.

(Ya-Sin 36:58)

THE WOMEN OF PARADISE

The women of paradise are extremely beautiful.

A woman of paradise if she looks at the dunya, it will illuminate the entire dunya.

Narrated Anas: Um (the mother of) Haritha came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) after Haritha had been martyred on the Day (of the battle) of Badr by an arrow thrown by an unknown person. She said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! You know the position of Haritha in my heart (i.e. how dear to me he was), so if he is in Paradise, I will not weep for him, or otherwise, you will see what I will do." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise?

There are many Paradises, and he is in the highest Paradise of Firdaus." The Prophet added, "A forenoon journey or an after noon journey in Allah's Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you, or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth, she would fill the

whole space between them (the earth and the heaven) with light, and would fill whatever is in between them, with perfume, and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it."

{Sahih Al Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 76, Hadith 572 & Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/85, no. 5614]}

Because your heart is pure, your speech becomes pure.

The women of paradise are pure therefore, they have no body hair.

The women of paradise have no urination, defecation, menstruation, and nifaas.

They shall not even spit or blow their noses.

Just in case they need to get rid of body waste, they shall only burp which has the smell sweeter then musk.

The women of paradise shall only look at their husband.

And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes.

(As-Saffat 37:48)

The women of dunya look at other men than their husband.

Because they fancy other men who are not their husbands.

Hoor al ayn means wide and beautiful eyes.

Hoor al ayn means the whiteness of their eyes is very white and the blackness of their eyes is very black.

Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them.

(Ar-Rahman 55:56)

The Ulama say the reason why the women of paradise will only look at their husband because they have no disease of the heart and secondly their husband shall be extremely handsome.

The women of paradise shall sing to their husbands.

With the most beautiful voice, you can ever imagine.

The wives of the people of Paradise will sing to their husband in the most beautiful voices that anyone has ever heard. What they will sing is: "We are good and beautiful, the wives of a noble people, who look at their husbands content and happy." And they will sing, "We are eternal, and will never die, we are safe and will never fear, we are remaining here and will never go away."

[Saheeh al-Jaami as-Sagheer, 2/48, no. 1557; also Abu Na'eem, ad-Diyaa in Sifaat al-Jannah]

"The wives of the people of Paradise will sing to their husband in the most beautiful voices that anyone has ever heard. What they will sing is: "We are good and beautiful, the wives of a noble people, who look at their husbands content and happy." And they will sing, "We are eternal, and will never die, we are safe and will

Samawayh reported in al-Fawaa'id from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "al-Hoor al-'Eeyn are singing in Paradise saying, "We are the beautiful houris, we are being kept for noble husbands."

[Saheeh al-Jaami', 2/58, no. 1598]

The women of paradise are eternal and will never die.

The women of paradise are protective of their husband.

Ahmad and Tirmidhi report with a saheeh isnaad from Mu'aadh that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "No woman in this world upsets her husband but his wife from among al-Hoor al-'Eeyn will say, "Do not upset him, may Allah kill you! For he is with you only temporarily, and soon he will leave you and come to us."

[Saheeh al-Jaami' as-Sagheer, 6/125, no. 7069]

The women of paradise know their husband in dunya, so if women of dunya upset their husband, the women of paradise will curse that woman.

The women of paradise will have no jealousy. Because there are no diseases of the heart in paradise.

Also, there are no single people in paradise.

Everyone shall be married.

Abu Huraira reported that Abu'l Qasim (the Holy Prophet) (SAW) said: The (members) of the first group to get into Paradise would have their faces as bright as full moon during the night, and the next to this group would have their faces as bright as the shining stars in the sky, and every person would have two wives and the marrow of their shanks would glimmer beneath the flesh and there would be none without a wife in Paradise.

[Arabic Sahih Muslim (4/2178) No. 2834]

The women of paradise have huge breasts.

And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; (An-Naba 78:33)

Equal age in the above ayah means you shall be both 33 years old forever.

The fruits of paradise will be hanging low for you to pick.

You do not need to climb a tree. In the dunya, people climb trees to pick the fruits

And fruit; that they may choose. And the flesh of fowls that they desire.

(Al-Waqi'ah 56:20-21)

Another aspect of their beauty is that they will have no body hair, and will look as if their eyes are anointed with kohl. Each of them will enter Paradise aged thirty-three, the age of strength, vitality and youth. Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi report from Mu'aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, looking as if their eyes are ringed with kohl, aged thirty three."

[Saheeh al-Jaami' 6/337, no. 7928]

The people of paradise will be beautiful like the full moon.

And their sweat will smell like musk.

If you did not die as a shaheed, you shall receive two wives.

Every man shall have two wives except the shaheed.

As for the shaheed, he will get 72 virgins.

THE UTENSILS OF PARADISE

In dunya it is haram to drink from silver and gold utensils.

In paradise you shall drink from gold and silver utensils.

Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever.

(Az-Zukhruf 43:71)

You will get all your desires fulfilled.

And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal,

(Al-Insan 76:15)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The first group (of people) who will enter Paradise will be (glittering) like the moon when it is full. They will not spit or blow their noses or relieve nature. Their utensils will be of gold and their combs of gold and silver; in their centers the aloe wood will be used, and their sweat will smell like musk. Everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives' legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty. They ( i.e. the people of Paradise) will neither have differences nor hatred amongst themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart and they will be glorifying Allah in the morning and in the evening."

{Bukhari: Vol: 4 Book 59 Chapter 8 Hadith: 3245) Vol: 4 Book 54 Hadith 468}

Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosoever drinks in utensils of silver, in fact, kindles in his belly the fire of Hell."

Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) said:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosoever drinks in utensils of silver, in fact, kindles in his belly the fire of Hell."

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]  [Riyad as-Salihin Book 18, Hadith 285]

The narration of Muslim is: "Verily, the person who eats or drinks in utensils made of gold and silver."

So utensils of gold and silver are haram in dunya.

Even thou it is haram in the dunya, silver and gold will be the utensils in paradise

Narrated Hudhaifa: The Prophet said, "Do not drink in gold or silver utensils, and do not wear clothes of silk or Dibaj, for these things are for them (unbelievers) in this world and for you in the Hereafter."

{Sahih Al Bukhari: Vol: 7 Book 69 Hadith 537 & [Al-Bukhari (5426) and Muslim (2067)]

THE CUSHIONS OF PARADISE

Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand.

(Ar-Rahman 55:54)

Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses.

(Ar-Rahman 55:76)

The cushions of paradise will be made of silk in paradise

Therein will be thrones raised high, And cups set at hand. And cushions set in rows, And rich carpets (all) spread out.

(Al-Ghashiyah 88:13-16)

but in dunya it is haram to recline on silk cushions.

THE WINE OF PARADISE

The wine of dunya makes you intoxicanted.

It might give you a headache and makes you vomit.

The wine of dunya befogs the mind.

It will damage your liver as well.

Now, the wine of paradise will have no negative side effects.

The final sip smells like musk.

The wine of dunya invalidates your salah for 40 days and 40 nights.

Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; White, delicious to the drinkers, Neither they will have Ghoul (any kind of hurt, abdominal pain, headache, a sin, etc.) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom.

(As-Saffat 37:45-47)

Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “If anyone drinks wine then his salah over forty days are not approved. If he repents then Allah will relent to him. If he reverts (to it), then Allah will not approve his salah over forty days.

[Sunan Tirmidhi (4/290) No. 1862, Sunan Nasa'i (8/317) No. 5670, Musnad Ahmad (2/35) No. 4917, al-Mu’jam al-Kabir al-Tabarani (12/390) No. 13441]

The wine of dunya increases your testosterone, which makes you commit zina.

The wine of the dunya is the drink of the shaitan.

The wine of dunya is the mother of all evil.

rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine delicious to those who drink;

(Muhammad 47:15)

They will be given to drink pure sealed wine. The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah).

(Al-Mutaffifin 83:25-26)

You should compete with each other to enter paradise to drink the wine of paradise.

THE SERVANTS OF PARADISE

They will be served by immortal boys, With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication.

(Al-Waqi'ah 56:17-19)

The young boys of jannah are your servants who are beautiful like scattered pearls.

They will be for ever young and handsome.

And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.

(Al-Insan 76:19)

Some scholars say these boys are children who died before puberty, but ibn Taimiyah rejected this because there is no hujjah to back up the claim.

Some scholars suggested that these boys are the children of the Muslims and Mushrikeen who die in childhood, but this was refuted by 'Allaamah Ibn Taymiyyah, who explained that these boys of eternal youth are part of the creation of Paradise: "..they are not the children of this world. When the children of this world enter Paradise, they will do so in a perfect form, like all the other people of Paradise, in the form of their father, Aadam."

[Majmu' al-Fatawa, 4/279, 4/311]

THE FIRST FOOD FOR THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE

The first food of the people of paradise will be the liver of the whale.

This earth will be turn to bread for the people of paradise to eat, therefore it will disappear forever.

A Jewish man came and said, "May the Most Merciful bless you, O Abul-Qaasim. Shall I not tell you what food [nuzul] will be offered to the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet (saw) said, "Of course." The Jew said that the earth would be a single loaf of bread, just as the Prophet (saw) has said. The Prophet (saw) looked at us and smiled so broadly that his back teeth were visible, then he said, "Shall I not tell you of their food? Balam and noon [a large fish]". They asked, "What is that?" He said, "A bull and noon seventy thousand people will eat from the caudate [extra] lobes of their livers"

[Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh, 3/56]

An-Nawawi's comments on this hadith may be summarized as follows: "Nuzul is the food prepared for a guest upon his arrival. Turning the bread around in one's hands means kneading it and tossing it from hand to hand, until it is flat and round like a disk. The meaning of the hadith is that Allah (swt) will make the earth like a huge loaf of bread to feed the people of Paradise. Noon is a whale or large fish; balam is a Hebrew word that means "bull"; the caudate [extra] lobe of a fish liver is the best part of it."

[Sharh an-Nawawi 'alaa Muslim, 17/136]

THE MARKET OF PARADISE

Muslim reported from Anas ibn Maalik that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said; "In Paradise there is a market to which the people will come every Friday, then a wind will come from the north and blow on their faces, and clothes, and they will increase in beauty. Then they will return to their wives, who will also have increased in beauty. Their wives will say to them, "By Allah, you increased in beauty after you left us." And they will say, "And you too, by Allah, you have increased in beauty since you left us."

[Saheeh Muslim, Kitaab al-Jannah]

An-Nawawi commented on this hadith, "What is meant by a market is a gathering place where the people will come together, just as they gather in marketplaces in this world. Gathering together every Friday means that they will meet once a week, or what approximates to once a week; there will be no real weeks there, as there will be no sun or moon or days

The wind of Paradise was described specifically as being the north winds, because for the Arabs this is the wind that brings rain, coming from the direction of Syria, so they always hoped for a wind coming from the north. In the hadith this wind is called al-Mutheerah, i.e. something that carries things, because it will blow the sand or dust of Paradise into their faces, which is musk."

[Sharh an-Nawawi ala Muslim, 17/170]

WIVES OF DUNYA IN PARADISE

If a woman in dunya has multiple husbands consecutively, the last husband will be her husband in paradise.

On the authority of Abu Darda’: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say: "Any woman whose husband dies and she marries someone else after him, she will be with the last of her husbands."

[al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (3/275) No. 3130, Tarikh al-Raqqah Muhammad Ibn Sa'id Qushayri (d. 334H) (pg. 159) No. 318, Majma al-Zawaid al-Haythami (4/496) No. 7424, al-Jaami al-Saghir al-Suyuti (3/244) No. 12558]

I
n Taareekh ar-Raqqah, Abu 'Ali al-Hurani reported from Maymun ibn Mahran that "Mu'aawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan {RA} proposed to Umm ad-Darda' but she refused to marry him, saying, "I heard Abud-Dardaa' say that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "A woman will be with the last of her husbands." The men in its isnaad are trustworthy apart from al-'Abbaas ibn Saalih, whose biography is unknown.

Abul-Shaykh reported it in at-Taareek with a saheeh isnaad only quoting the marfoo' version of it. Tabaraani reported it with a da'eef isnaad in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat but taking both isnaads into account strengthens it. The marfoo' version is saheeh, and it also has two corroborating reports that are mawqoof.

This is why it is haram for the wives of the prophet to marry someone else after him (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

The second reason, they are the mothers of the believers so you cannot marry your mother.

The first of these was reported by Ibn 'Asaakir from 'Ikrimah:

The second report was narrated by al-Bayhaqee in as-Sunan, where he says that Hudhayfah said to his wife, "If you want to be my wife in Paradise, do not remarry after I die, for the woman in Paradise will be with the last of her husbands on earth."

For this reason, Allah forbade the wives of the Prophet (saw) to remarry after his death, because they will be his wives in the Hereafter.

THE BELIEVERS WILL LAUGH AT THE DISBELIEVERS IN HELLFIRE

And the dwellers of Paradise will call out to the dwellers of the Fire (saying) : "We have indeed found true what our Lord had promised us; have you also found true, what your Lord promised (warnings, etc.)?" They shall say: "Yes." Then a crier will proclaim between them: "The Curse of Allah is on the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.),"

(Al-A'raf 7:44)

Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery);
And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!" But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers). But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers. On (high) thrones, looking (at all things). Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?

(Al-Mutaffifin 83:29-36)

So the kufar in dunya laugh at the believer in dunya.

They ridicule the believers in dunya.

So in Judgement Day the table shall turn and it will be the believer who shall laugh at the kufar.

The last laugh will belong to the believer.

Ariel Sharon's death was laughed at, he joined his brothers Nimrod, Pharaoh  Abu Lahab, Abu Jahl in the hell fire.

Worthy similar to the death of Nimrod and Pharaoh.

These men have no good in them so Allah (SWT) did not guide them.

Had Allah known of any good in them, He would indeed have made them listen, and even if He had made them listen, they would but have turned away, averse (to the truth).

(Al-Anfal 8:23)

Allah (SWT) did not see an atoms weight of good in Ariel Sharon, so he died a kaafir

THE DHIKR OF PARADISE

The dhikr of paradise is "Subhan Allah, Al hamdulillah, wa laa ilaha illalah , wa Allahu akbar".

Why will you make dhikr in paradise? This is because the heart finds tranquility with dhikr.

Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.

Ra'd 13:28)

WHAT IS THE DUA FOR THOSE WHO ENTER PARADISE?

Ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported: Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "I met Ibrahim (AS) on the Night of Ascension (Al-Asra), and he said to me: 'O Muhammad, convey my greetings to your Ummah, and tell them that Jannah has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. It is a plain levelled land. The plants grow there by uttering: Subhan-Allah, Al-hamdu lillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar (Allah is free from imperfection; praise be to Allah; there is no true god except Allah; and Allah is Greatest)."

[Sunan Tirmidhi (5/510) No. 3462]

WHAT IS THE DUA FOR THOSE WHO ENTER PARADISE?

And they will say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) grief. Verily, our Lord is indeed Of Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (good deeds and to recompense). Who, out of His Grace, has lodged us in a home that will last forever; there, toil will touch us not, nor weariness will touch us."

(Fatir 35:34-35)

THE GREATEST DELIGHT OF THE PEOPLE OF PARADISE

The greatest delight for the people of paradise is the mazeed.

What is mazeed?

Mazeed is to look at the Face of Allah (SWT).

There they will have all that they desire, and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic).

(Qaf 50:35)

Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). Looking at their Lord (Allah);

(Al-Qiyamah 75:22-23)

The extra in the above ayah is the mazeed.

Who denies the mazeed?

Suhayb narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: "When the people of Paradise enter the Paradise, Allah will say, 'Do you want me to give you anything extra.' They will say, 'Haven't you whitened our faces Haven't you entered us into Paradise and saved us from the Fire.' Then He will remove the veil and they will not be given anything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord, and that will be the extra (Ziyadah).

[Sahih Muslim (1/163) No. 181] & {Muslim Book 1 Chapter 80 Hadith 347}

The mutazilites, the shias, and the khawarij.

They are the one who denies the mazeed.

They are mishkeen in regards to aqeedah.

Who are the people of al A'raaf?

They are the people who live in mountain top and cut off from remote villages with no civilization.

So they neither accepted nor rejected Islam.

In another explanation, the people of A'raaf some of them are born insane or deaf.

So they cannot be responsible for accepting Islam.

Some of them died before Islam came.

The people of A'raaf, Allah (SWT) will decide their fate on the day of Judgement Day.
