HADITH HUJJH @AT3 & @SAAD IBN UBADAH

QURAN HUJJAH @SAUD IBN UBBADI & AT3

EDITED & FORMATTED BY @ABU HAFIZA & AT6

- There is no doubt that the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was blessed with many miracles.

- Allah (SWT) blessed Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and the previous prophets with many miracles in order to convince the infidels that they were the prophets of Allah (SWT).

- Abraham (AS) was dumped in the fire and he came out alive. This was Abraham’s (AS) miracle.

- Yunus (AS) was in the belly of the whale and he survived it. This was Yunus's (AS) miracle.

- The miracles of Moses (AS) were various and numerant. He had the rod and the radiant hand.

- His rod became a snake and ate up the other snakes.

- He had the locusts, the frogs, the river nile became blood and he had the lice.

- He had the large flood and the famine.

- He had the splitting of the red sea; the children of Israel survived and the Pharaoh drowned.

- The cloud was an umbrella for them.

- When they became thirsty, Musa (AS) struck a rock and 12 springs gushed forth.

- The 12 springs were for the 12 tribes of Israel.

- When they were hungry, Allah (SWT) blessed them with manna and quail.

- Musa (AS) had many miracles.

- It was for this reason, when he came back to the mount Sinai he was shocked to see his people worshipping the golden calf.

- This is why Musa (AS) said those who didn't worship the golden calf have to kill those who did.

- How can you see all these miracles and then worship the golden calf?

- There is no two ways about it; you have to die.

- As for Prophet Saleh (AS), his miracle is that a pregnant she-camel came out of the rock in front of his peoples' very eyes.

- The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had many miracles as well.

- An example is the splitting of the moon which Allah (SWT) spoke about in Surah 54:1-2.

The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic."

(Al-Qamar 54:1-2)

- This miracle was so important Allah (SWT) spoke about it in the Qur'an.

- Another miracle of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was when he went to Al isra wal miraaj.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Isra verse 1:

Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allah) [above all that (evil) they associate with Him] [Tafsir Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 204] Who took His slave (Muhammad SAW) for a journey by night from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad SAW) of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, etc.). Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

(Al-Isra 17:1)

- The other miracle of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is when he replaced the eye of Qatada (RA).

- Qatada (RA) was fighting in the battlefield and his eye got dug out.

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replaced his eye.

“Abu Sad al-Malini informed us quoting Abu Ahmed b. Adi, quoting Abu Yala, quoting Yahya al-Himmant, quoting Abd al-Aziz b. Sulayman b. al-Ghasil, from Asim b. Umar b. Qatada, from his father, from his grandfather Qatada b. al-Numan, that his eye was wounded at Badr and that its pupil came down on his cheekbone. They were about to slice it off, but asked the Messenger of God (SAAS) who said they should not do this. He then said a prayer for him, covering his cheek with his palm. And later you could not tell which of his eyes had been struck!” {Al-Bayhaqi s}

“I was at the Noble Prophet’s side during the Battle of Uhud. He shot arrows at the unbelievers until his bow broke. Then he gave arrows to me, telling me to shoot them. The arrows he gave me were without flights, that is, without the feathers which help them fly. He was ordering me to shoot them, which I did, and they flew like flighted arrows, hitting the unbelievers’ bodies and piercing them.” “At that point, Qatada b. Nu‘man was hit in the eye by an arrow; it was struck out of his head, so that it was sitting on the side of his face. God’s Messenger (pbuh) took the eye in his blessed, healing hand and placed it in its socket; it was healed as though nothing had happened to it and became the better of his two eyes.”

[Qadi Iyad, ash-Shifa’ 1, 322; ‘Ali al-Qari, Sharh ash-Shifa’ 1, 651; al-Haythami, Majma’ az-Zawa’id 4, 113; Muslim, Fada’il as-Sahaba 42 no: 2412; Ibn Hibban, Sahih 9, 65]

“At that point, Qatada b. Nu‘man was hit in the eye by an arrow; it was struck out of his head, so that it was sitting on the side of his face. God’s Messenger (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) took the eye in his blessed, healing hand and placed it in its socket; it was healed as though nothing had happened to it and became the better of his two eyes.”

(Bukhari & Muslim)

- Another miracle is when the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was in Hudaibiyyah, he poured a cup of water into a dry well and 1400 companions drank from that well.

- Another miracle of the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is when he was travelling to the battlefield with Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA).

- The camel of Jabir (RA) was very old and he thought it wouldn't make it to the frontline.

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) hit the camel and it became faster than the other camels.

- This camel lived 2 years in the caliphate of Abu Bakr (RA) and fought many battles.

- It lived up to the caliphate of Uthman (RA) and participated in many battles.

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) bought the camel but the clause in the contract was that Jabir (RA) will use the camel until he goes back to Medina.

- When Jabir (RA) got back to Medina, the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) told Jabir (RA) to keep his camel and to keep the money the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) gave him for the camel.

Narrated By Jabir bin 'Abdullah: I was accompanying the Prophet on a journey and was riding a slow camel that was lagging behind the others. The Prophet passed by me and asked, "Who is this?" I replied, "Jabir bin 'Abdullah." He asked, "What is the matter, (why are you late)?" I replied, "I am riding a slow camel." He asked, "Do you have a stick?" I replied in the affirmative. He said, "Give it to me." When I gave it to him, he beat the camel and rebuked it. Then that camel surpassed the others thenceforth. The Prophet said, "Sell it to me." I replied, "It is (a gift) for you, O Allah's Apostle." He said, "Sell it to me. I have bought it for four Dinars (gold pieces) and you can keep on riding it till Medina." When we approached Medina, I started going (towards my house). The Prophet said, "Where are you going?" I Sad, "I have married a widow." He said, "Why have you not married a virgin to fondle with each other?" I said, "My father died and left daughters, so I decided to marry a widow (an experienced woman) (to look after them)." He said, "Well done." When we reached Medina, Allah's Apostle said, "O Bilal, pay him (the price of the camel) and give him extra money." Bilal gave me four Dinars and one Qirat extra. (A sub-narrator said): Jabir added, "The extra Qirat of Allah's Apostle never parted from me." The Qirat was always in Jabir bin 'Abdullah's purse.

[Sahih Bukhari, Vol 3, Book 38, Hadith #504]

- When they were marching to the frontline, the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was talking to Jabir.

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) asked Jabir if he was married and Jabir (RA) said yes.

- He asked if Jabir (RA) married a virgin or a non-virgin. Jabir (RA) said he married a non-virgin.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: I was with the Prophet in a Ghazwa (Military Expedition) and my camel was slow and exhausted. The Prophet came up to me and said, "O Jabir." I replied, "Yes?" He said, "What is the matter with you?" I replied, "My camel is slow and tired, so I am left behind." So, he got down and poked the camel with his stick and then ordered me to ride. I rode the camel and it became so fast that I had to hold it from going ahead of Allah's Apostle. He then asked me, have you got married?" I replied in the affirmative. He asked, "A virgin or a matron?" I replied, "I married a matron." The Prophet said, "Why have you not married a virgin, so that you may play with her and she may play with you?" Jabir replied, "I have sisters (young in age) so I liked to marry a matron who could collect them all and comb their hair and look after them." The Prophet said, "You will reach, so when you have arrived (at home), I advise you to associate with your wife (that you may have an intelligent son)." Then he asked me, "Would you like to sell your camel?" I replied in the affirmative and the Prophet purchased it for one Uqiya of gold. Allah's Apostle reached before me and I reached in the morning, and when I went to the mosque, I found him at the door of the mosque. He asked me, "Have you arrived just now?" I replied in the affirmative. He said, "Leave your camel and come into (the mosque) and pray two Rakat." I entered and offered the prayer. He told Bilal to weigh and give me one Uqiya of gold. So Bilal weighed for me fairly and I went away. The Prophet sent for me and I thought that he would return to me my camel which I hated more than anything else. But the Prophet said to me, "Take your camel as well as its price.

{Sahih Al Bukhari: Vol: 3 Book 34 hadith 310}

- The reason why was because Jabir (RA) had big sisters and they needed a mother figure.

- When the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) heard the reason, he didn't say anything.

- We are yet to discuss the greatest miracle of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

- The greatest miracle of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is the Qur'an.

- If the Qur'an is not explained for you, you will take it for granted.

- The Qur'an is the greatest miracle for many reasons.

WHY THE QURAN IS THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF MUHAMMAD (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)

REASON # 1: THE LITERARY STYLE OF THE QUR'AN

- Even though the Qur'an was revealed to an unlettered prophet, the literary style of the Qur'an surpasses poetry and Arabic literature.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Al-Baqarah verses 23 to 24:

And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'an) to Our slave (Muhammad Peace be upon him ), then produce a Surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful. But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

(Al-Baqarah 2:23-24)

- Allah (SWT) predicted that you will never produce something similar to the Qur'an.

- The Quran has similes, rhetoric and metaphors.

- An example of the metaphor of the Qur'an is when Allah (SWT) told you to lower the wing of mercy to your parents.

- Human beings don't have wings.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Isra verses 23-24

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small."

(Al-Isra 17:23-24)

- Allah (SWT) uses metaphors in the Qur'an to beautify it.

- Another metaphor can be found in Surah 2:187.

- If you are going to take the Qur'an literally, when you are fasting in Ramadan you are going to get a white string and a black string and wait till you can tell them both apart.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al Baqarah verse 187:

and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night),

(Baqarah 2:187)

- The white thread is the light of dawn.

- The black thread is the darkness of night.

- You can't take the whole Qur'an literally because the Qur'an has metaphors.

- Another metaphor of the Qur'an can be found in Surah 12:82.

- When Allah (SWT) said go and ask the town, this means go and ask the people who are in the town.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Yusuf verse 82:

"And ask (the people of) the town where we have been, and the caravan in which we returned, and indeed we are telling the truth."

(Yusuf 12:82)

REASON # 2: THE QUR'AN IS COMPREHENSIVE

- Allah (SWT) uses a small sentence to explain a big idea.

- A whole book can be written about this idea.

- For example, Surah 2:179 is talking about capital punishment.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al- Baqarah verse 179:

And there is (a saving of) life for you in Al-Qisas (the Law of Equality in punishment), O men of understanding, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2).

(Al-Baqarah 2:179)

- Allah (SWT) didn't go in to elucidation.

- The ayah is straight to the point.

- When you take life, you save life.

- The beauty about the Quran is that Allah (SWT) is able to use a small sentence to explain a big idea.

- When you carry out capital punishment, you save lives.

- Another example of Allah (SWT) using a small sentence to express a big idea is when Allah (SWT) refuted the idea of Jesus and his mother being god.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al Ma'iadah verse 75:

The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books].They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

(Al-Ma'idah 5:75)

- Allah (SWT) used three words to refute Christianity.

- Allah (SWT) said kaanaa ya'kulaan at-ta'aam (they ate food).

- If you eat food it means you suffer the pangs of hunger.

- If you suffer the pangs of hunger you are not God.

- If you eat food, it means you need to go to the toilet.

- If you go to the toilet, you are not God.

REASON # 3: IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO GRAMMATICAL ERRORS

- The greatest Arab poems can't match the Qur'an.

- How is it possible for a person who is unlettered to produce a book which is free from grammatical errors?

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Fussilat verse 42:

Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah).

(Fussilat 41:42)

- Why did Allah (SWT) choose an unlettered prophet to bring the Qur'an?

- It was to silence the critics and the skeptics.

- Had Allah (SWT) chosen a literate Arab who was skilful in writing, everyone would have said he wrote it himself.

- No one can say Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) wrote the Qur'an himself.

- That accusation doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

- Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) could neither read nor write.

- Allah (SWT) deliberately did that to silence the critics and skeptics.

REASON # 4: IT DOESN'T CONTRADICT ITSELF

- Anything which is man-made has contradictions in it.

- Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah An-Nisa verse 82:

Do they not then consider the Qur'an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions.

(An-Nisa 4:82)

- The Qur'an is not man-made so it doesn't have any contradictions.

REASON # 5: THE QUR'AN AGREES WITH SCIENCE

- In 1929, Edwin Hubble discovered that the universe is expanding.

- He was an astronomer of the California Institute of Technology.

- The ulama say that Allah (SWT) made mention of this scientific fact more than 1400 years ago in Surah 51:47.

- Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Adh-Dhariyat verse 47:

With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

(Adh-Dhariyat 51:47)

- If Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was illiterate and he knew nothing about science, how is this fact mentioned in the Qur'an?

- Many of you underestimate the Qur'an.

- Johannes Kepler (1571-1630) discovered that the planets move in a circular motion.

- The Qur'an mentions the word orbit to describe the movement of the planets.

- Allah (SWT) uses the word orbit in the Qur'an to dispel all doubts in regards to the movement of the planets.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya verse 33:

And He it is Who has created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orbit floating.

(Al-Anbiya 21:33)

- The scientists are impressed with this Qur'anic verse.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Adh-Dhariyat verse 7:

By the heaven full of paths, (Adh-Dhariyat 51:7)

- Allah (SWT) told us the purpose of the mountains.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah An-Naba verse 7:

And the mountains as pegs? (An-Naba 78:7)

- Allah (SWT) told us the purpose of the mountains.

- He created the mountains as pegs so that the earth doesn't wobble.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Luqman verse 10:

He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.

(Luqman 31:10)

- The purpose of the mountains is to keep the earth still so it doesn't wobble when you walk on it.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al Hadid verse 25:

We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

(Al-Hadid 57:25)  Sahih International

- The iron that is on earth which people use to make weaponry and cars was sent by Allah (SWT).

- The iron came as a test to see who will use the iron to fight for Allah (SWT) and who will use it to fight against Allah (SWT).

- So there are two types of armies.

- The iron came down as meteorites.

- This is another scientific fact in the Qur'an.

- Iron came from the heavens.

- Another scientic fact of the Qur'an is at no time did Allah (SWT) refer to the moon as a lamp.

- Allah (SWT) refers to the sun as a lamp because the sun produces its own light and heat.

- The moon is a reflector that reflects light from the sun.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Furqan verse 61:

Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light.

(Al-Furqan 25:61)

- Allah (SWT) never referred to the moon as a lamp in the Qur'an because the moon is merely a reflector of the Sun.

- Another scientific fact in the Qur'an is the big bang.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Anbiya verse 30:

Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

(Al-Anbiya 21:30)

- The kaafirs are trying to say the big bang came about by itself.

- Allah (SWT) said 'We parted them'.

- Allah (SWT) didn't refute the big bang; Allah (SWT) refuted their dodgy understanding of it.

- Allah (SWT) also said that every living thing was made from water in the above ayah.

- Allah (SWT) gave you two scientific facts in one ayah.

- Another scientific fact in the Qur'an is that the female spider is responsible for making the web.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Al-Ankabut verse 41:

The likeness of those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house; if they but knew.

(Al-'Ankabut 29:41)

- Allah (SWT) used the female version of the verb in the ayah.

- 'Itself' is the wrong translation; it should have been 'herself'.

- The verb used was 'ittakhadat' (she builds for herself a house).

- For you to read the Qur'an and not embrace Islam, you have to be the devil himself.

- Another scientific fact is that the female bees are responsible for making the hive.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah An-Nahl verse 68:

And your Lord inspired the bee, saying: "Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect.

(An-Nahl 16:68)

- Whenever Allah (SWT) states a scientific fact in the Qur'an, it is impossible for any kaafir scientist to refute that fact.

- The best honey is in the mountains.

- The second best is in the trees.

- The third best is what man erects.

- Allah (SWT) said 'ittakhidhee' (she takes).

- Ittakhidhee is the female version of the verb.

- Surah 16:68 tells us the job to build the hive is the job of the female bee not the male bee.

- Another scientific fact in the Qur'an is that Jordan is the lowest land.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Ar-Rum verse 1 to 3:

Alif Lam Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. The Romans have been defeated. In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious.

(Ar-Rum 30:1-3)

- How could Muhammad know that was the lowest land?

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Ar Rahman verses 19 to 21:

He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?

(Ar-Rahman 55:19-21)

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Alaq verses 15-16:

Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, lying, sinning forelock.

(Al-'Alaq 96:15-16)

- The above mentioned ayah is the evidence that the section of the brain used to concoct a lie is the front lobe.

- This Qur'anic verse yet again impresses the scientists.

- Embryology in the Quran can be found in Surah 23:12-14.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Muminum verses 12-14:

And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.

(Al-Mu'minun 23:12-14)

- These verses caused Dr Keith Moore embrace Islam.

Converts to Islam after findings scientist Facts:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC2_IMz9qcY

- It is impossible for Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) who was illiterate and living in the desert to explain embryology to this extent.

- Dr Keith Moore said Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) got his knowledge directly from God.

- There was no microscope back then.

- Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was able to explain in detail the stages of embryology.

REASON # 6: THE QUR'AN HAS MANY ACCURATE PREDICTIONS

- What is the first prediction of the Qur'an?

- The first prediction of the Qur'an is the preservation of the Qur'an itself.

- No one can corrupt it the way the Torah and Injeel were corrupted.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Hijr verse 9:

Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption).

(Al-Hijr 15:9)

- The second prediction of the Quran is that we are going to have millions of people memorising the Qur'an.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Qamar verse 17:

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)?

(Al-Qamar 54:17)

- There is no hafiz of the torah or injeel.

- Another prediction of the Qur'an is that people will slander Islam.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah As-Saff verse 8:

They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Qur'an, and Prophet Muhammad SAW) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it).

(As-Saff 61:8)

- Fox News is racist white men who spew venom at the ummah of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

- The other prediction is that Islam will dominate the world.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah As-Saff verse 9:

He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islamic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammed SAW) hate (it).

(As-Saff 61:9)

- The other prediction of the Qur'an is that the Romans are going to make a comeback after being defeated by the Persians between 3 to 9 years.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Ar-Rum verses 1 to 4:

Alif Lam Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].The Romans have been defeated. The Romans have been defeated. In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after (these events) is only with Allah, (before the defeat of Romans by the Persians, and after, i.e. the defeat of the Persians by the Romans). And on that Day, the believers (i.e. Muslims) will rejoice (at the victory given by Allah to the Romans against the Persians)

(Ar-Rum 30:1-4)

- When the Romans and Persians were going to fight, the Muslims cheered for the Romans. When the Romans lost, the pagans were teasing the Muslims.

- The Qur'an predicted that the Romans will defeat the Persians and the Muslims will rejoice.

- When the Romans defeated the Persians, the Muslims won at the battle of Badr so it was a double rejoice.

- Another prediction is that Abu Lahab and his wife, Umm Jameel, are going to die as kuffar.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Masad

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him!He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames! And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) , or use to slander him). In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre

(Al-Masad 111:1-5)

- All it took for Abu Lahab to prove to the world that the Qur'an is a fake book and a fraud is to come forward and say he has become Muslim but he couldn’t do it.

- You heard this surah being recited many times in your local masajid but you underestimated the power of this surah.

- Another prediction is that Waleed ibn Mugheera is going to be condemned to the hellfire.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-Muddaththir verse 26:

I will cast him into Hell-fire

(Al-Muddaththir 74:26)

- Waleed ibn Mugheera thought Allah gave him a raw deal.

- He wanted to be a prophet instead of Muhammad (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

- Waleed ibn Mugheera thought he was a better candidate for prophethood.

- You can't tell Allah (SWT) who to bless.

- You have to shut up and accept Qadr Allah (SWT).

- Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Al Baqarah verse 105

Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, idolaters, polytheists, pagans, etc.) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

(Al-Baqarah 2:105)

- The other prediction of the Qur'an is environmental polution will become widespread on the earth as well as man-made disasters.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Ar-Rum verse 41:

Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon).

(Ar-Rum 30:41)

We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

(Ar-Rum 30:41) Sahih International:

- The Qur’an predicted genetically modified plants and animals.

- The shaitaan said he will make people change Allah's (SWT) creation.

- Prince Charles complained the scientists are trying to play God.

- Another prediction is that people will do sex changes.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah An-Nisa verse 119:

Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss.

(An-Nisa 4:119)

- The other prediction is that people will kill children like in India and china.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah At-Takwir verses 8-9

And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. For what sin she was killed?

(At-Takwir 81:8-9)

- Another prediction is that the body of the Pharaoh shall be preserved.

- This prediction has caused many people to become Muslims.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Yunus verse 90:

And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that La ilaha illa (Huwa) : (none has the right to be worshipped but) He," in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims (those who submit to Allah's Will)." Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were one of the Mufsidun (evil-doers, corrupts, etc.).So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs , revelations, etc.).

(Yunus 10:90-92)

- The body of the Pharaoh was in the ocean floor for 3000 years and it did not disintegrate with the salt water.

- Fish are greedy yet they didn't eat him.

- Fish even eat human waste.

- The Pharaoh's body is now in a museum.

- I am amazed that a kaafir can read this prediction of the Qur'an and not embrace Islam.

- For you to die as a kaafir after seeing this prediction, you have to be the devil himself.

- This prediction in the Qur'an is as clear as daylight.

REASON # 7: IT CORRECTS THE MISTAKES OF THE PROPHET

- Who is going to correct himself publicly?

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) didn't hide the verse even when it was against him.

- This shows the sincerity of the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Abasa verses 1 to 2

(The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs).

('Abasa 80:1-2)

- Another mistake of the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was taking captives at the Battle of Badr.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Al-Anfal verse 67

It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

(Al-Anfal 8:67)

- When the kuffar read these verses, they are terrified, horrified and petrified.

- Another mistake of the prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) can be found in Surah 66:1.

- The Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) made honey haram on himself.

- Honey is very important.

You can't go to a supermarket and not find honey.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah At-Tahrim:

O Prophet! Why do you ban (for yourself) that which Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

(At-Tahrim 66:1)

- Another mistake of the Prophet (Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was praying over a hypocrite, Abdullah ibn Ubayy.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah At-Tawbah verse 84:

And never (O Muhammad SAW) pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and died while they were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger SAW).

(At-Tawbah 9:84)

- Abdullah ibn Ubayy was the one who started the rumour about Aisha (RAA) having an affair.

- Hypocrites start rumours and then pretend they don't know who started it.

REASON # 8: THE QUR'AN IS COMPREHENSIVE; IT COVERS ALL SUBJECTS

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Al-An'am verse 38:

We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.

(Al-An'am 6:38)

- The first subject the Qur'an covers is science.

- For example, Allah (SWT) told you your skin and eye can testify against you.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran, Surah Fussilat verse 20:

Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.

(Fussilat 41:20)

- Your skin can testify against you because of you fingerprint.

- Your eye can testify against you because of your iris.

- Your skin and eye can testify against you even in the dunya.

- Allah (SWT) said the mountains are pegs.

Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah An-Naba verse 7:

And the mountains as pegs?

(An-Naba 78:7)

- Allah (SWT) said there are two seas: the salt and the fresh. This is oceanography in the Qur’an.

- The Qur'an has psychology in it.

- The brothers of Yusuf (AS) who dumped him in the well did so in the name of sibling rivalry.

- That is psychology in the Qur'an.

- How can you be so cruel to your own sibling?

- When Zulaika called Yusuf (AS) to zina, grabbed his shirt and ripped it this was sexual harassment at work.

Allah (SWT) said in the Qur'an, surah Yusuf verses 25-26:

So they raced with one another to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back. They both found her lord (i.e. her husband) at the door. She said: "What is the recompense (punishment) for him who intended an evil design against your wife, except that he be put in prison or a painful torment?" He [Yusuf (Joseph)] said: "It was she that sought to seduce me," - and a witness of her household bore witness (saying) : "If it be that his shirt is torn from the front, then her tale is true and he is a liar!

(Yusuf 12:25-26)

- This is called sociology in the holy Qur'an.

- When Allah (SWT) spoke about the story of Noah (AS) and all the previous prophets, this is history in the holy Qur'an.

- Noah (AS) had the flood.

- Abraham (AS) was dumped in the fire.

- Prophet (AS) Saleh had a pregnant she-camel come out of the rock.

- The grammar of the Qur'an is perfect.

- It has no mistakes.

- It is the textbook of the Arabic language.

Allah (SWT) said in the Qur'an, Surah Fussilat verse 42:

Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah).

(Fussilat 41:42)

- This is grammar in the Qur'an.

- When Allah (SWT) spoke about the development of the child in the womb, that is called biology in the Qur'an.

- The Qur'an has every subject under the heavens.

- When Allah (SWT) spoke about the Islamic law of inheritance, that is called shariah in the Qur'an.

- When Allah (SWT) spoke about His Oneness (Tawheed), that is called theology in the Qur'an.

Allah said in the Quran Surah Yusuf verse 28

So when he (her husband) saw his [(Yusuf's (Joseph)] shirt torn at the back; (her husband) said: "Surely, it is a plot of you women! Certainly mighty is your plot!

(Yusuf 12:28)

- When Allah (SWT) said if Yusuf’s (AS) shirt is torn from in front Zulaika is speaking the truth but if it is torn from behind Yusuf is speaking the truth that is called criminology in the Qur'an.

- The shirt was torn from the back so Yusuf (AS) was innocent.

- When Allah (SWT) spoke about the people of Aad and Thamud, that is called anthropology in the Qur'an.

- These are the many reasons why the Qur'an is the mother of all miracles.
