AYAH 168

And We have broken them (i.e. the Jews) up into various separate groups on the earth, some of them are righteous and some are away from that. And We tried them with good (blessings) and evil (calamities) in order that they might turn (to Allah's Obedience). (Al-A'raf 7:168)

This ayah is telling us that the Jews are not united
The prophet (saw) said they will be divided into 71 sects
All will be in the hellfire except one
Christians will divide into 72 sects
All will be in the hellfire except one
And Muslims into 73 sects
All will be in the hellfire except one

It was reported from ‘Awf ibn Malik who said: the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The Jews were divided into seventy-one sects, one of which is in Paradise and seventy are in the Fire. The Christians were divided into seventy-two sects, seventy-one of which are in the Fire and one is in Paradise. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, my Ummah will be divided into seventy-three sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy-two will be in the Fire.” It was said, O Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said, “Al-Jamaa’ah.” [Sunan Ibn Majah (5/128) No. 3992, al-Tabarani in ‘al-Mu’jam al-Kabir’ (18/70) No. 129]

Allah (swt) told us in the Quran that people will split into splinter groups
The saved sect is called the Firqa Najia
But the mujahideen are called taifa munsurah

But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. (Al-Mu'minun 23:53)

The taifa mansurah are the elite of the Muslims
So for you to be accepted into the dawla army is an honor
The people who train you consider you front line material

And We have broken them (i.e. the Jews) up into various separate groups on the earth, some of them are righteous and some are away from that. And We tried them with good (blessings) and evil (calamities) in order that they might turn (to Allah's Obedience). (Al-A'raf 7:168)

The generation that is mentioned in the above ayah is the generation of Dawud (as)
Allah (swt) says some are righteous and others are not
The other generation who came after Dawud’s generation will be totally evil

AYAH 169

Then after them succeeded an (evil) generation, which inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the goods of this low life (evil pleasures of this world) saying (as an excuse) : "(Everything) will be forgiven to us." And if (again) the offer of the like (evil pleasures of this world) came their way, they would (again) seize them (would commit those sins). Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them that they would not say about Allah anything but the truth? And they have studied what is in it (the Book). And the home of the Hereafter is better for those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.2:2). Do not you then understand? (Al-A'raf 7:169)

The generation Allah (swt) is speaking about came after Dawud (as)
And were evil to the core
They were the generation of Sulaiman (as)
Allah (swt) told you about their attitude towards sins
They would say "Allah will forgive us, even though we did not make taubah for our sins".
They were extreme murji
They believed they are God’s chosen people
This is the same generation that wrote books with magical formulae
They hid the books under Prophet Sulaiman's throne
And accused him of practicing magic to slander his name
And then they said he was a fake prophet
Allah (swt) gave them a challenge in 2:94-96

Say to (them) : "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is indeed for you specially and not for others, of mankind, then long for death if you are truthful." (Al-Baqarah 2:94)
But they will never long for it because of what their hands have sent before them (i.e. what they have done). And Allah is All-Aware of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). (Al-Baqarah 2:95)

And verily, you will find them (the Jews) the greediest of mankind for life and (even greedier) than those who - ascribe partners to Allah (and do not believe in Resurrection - Magians, pagans, and idolaters, etc.). Everyone of them wishes that he could be given a life of a thousand years. But the grant of such life will not save him even a little from (due) punishment. And Allah is All-Seer of what they do. (Al-Baqarah 2:96)

Allah (swt) said they will never wish for death.
They are greedy for the dunya
They want to live for 1000 years
People are doing stem cell research to live for 1000 years

When they say ‘we are going to be forgiven even if we don’t make taubah’
This is called liberalism
The Christian say to just believe that Jesus (as) died for our sins,
Is your guarantee that you will go to paradise
You can do whatever you want
Because of this Christian countries are the evilest of countries in the world
They are murji
They drink alcohol, sleep with many women, go to casinos....
They say Jesus (as) has died for your sins and you'll be saved

The Muslims have their murji as well
Some Muslims say ‘just recite the shahada and you will be saved‘

Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Two groups of my Ummah have no share in Islam the Murji'a and the Qadariyah." [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/454) No. 2149 and Sunan Ibn Majah (1/42) No. 62]

Some Muslims don't make salah or fast and they do what they want
And believe as long as they take shahada, they will be saved

The ayah is telling you that man likes to give himself false hope
Ibn Kathir (rh) said the ayah means that the Jewish judges use to take bribes
To pass wrong verdicts in the courthouse
And overtime a judge would die and another judge would take over,
And he would do the same thing

Ibn Mas`ud was asked (by the people of Iraq), What is rashwa (taking bribes)? He replied, "This is suht (unlawful earning)." They said, "No, we meant in ruling." He then said, "This is the very kufr." Then he recited: "...And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun." (Al-Ma'idah 5:44) [Tafsir al-Tabari (10/321) No. 11960, Tafsir Ibn Kathir (3/119)]

The kafirun which is mentioned in surah 5:44 is major kufr not minor kufr

Verily, We did send down the Taurāt (Torah) [to Mûsa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allāh's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurāt (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allāh's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allāh has revealed, such are the Kāfirûn. (Al-Ma'idah 5:44)

Abdullah ibn Amri said that the Prophet (SAW) cursed both the receiver and the giver of bribe. [Tirmidhi 1342, Abu Dawud 3580, Ibn e Majah 2313, Ahmed 7003]

"A scholar who abandons what he has learnt from the Quran and the Sunnah and follows a ruler who does not rule in accordance with the teaching of Allah and His Messenger is an apostate and a disbeliever who deserves punishment in this world and in the hereafter "  Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Volume 35/373

The book Allah (swt) is speaking about here is the Torah
Allah (swt) said they are like donkeys carrying books
They knew the Torah but did not practice it

The likeness of those who were entrusted with the (obligation of the) Taurat (Torah) (i.e. to obey its commandments and to practise its legal laws), but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is as the likeness of a donkey who carries huge burdens of books (but understands nothing from them).
(Al-Jumu'ah 62:5)

The donkey is unaware of the value of what it's carrying

They sold their deen for the dunya
Which is not worth a wing of a mosquito

Nay, you prefer the life of this world; (Al-A'la 87:16)
Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. (Al-A'la 87:17)

Sahi Ibn Sa’d (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, “If in Allah’s sight the world had so much worth as the wing of a mosquito, then a infidel would never have drunk even a drop of water.” [Tirmidhi (4/560) No. 2320, Ibn e Majah (5/230) No. 4110, al-Haakim (4/341) No. 7847]

“Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) happened to walk through the bazaar coming from the side of 'Aliya and people were on both sides of him. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of its ear and said: ‘Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham?’ They said: ‘We would not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us.’ He said: ‘Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)?’ They said: ‘By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess it), for there is defect in it, as its ear is very short; on top of that it is dead now.’ Thereupon, Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: ‘By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eyes of Allah than (this dead lamb) is in your eyes.’” [Muslim]

Allah (swt) took a covenant from the Jews
That they won’t lie on Allah (swt)
But they broke their covenant and lie on Allah
They said:

1. Allah (swt) rested on the 7th day after created the dunya

……His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursī.] (Al-Baqarah 2:255)

2. They said Allah (swt) is poor but they are rich

Indeed, Allāh has heard the statement of those (Jews) who say: "Truly, Allāh is poor and we are rich!" We shall record what they have said and their killing of the Prophets unjustly, and We shall say: "Taste you the torment of the burning (Fire)." (Aali Imran 3:181)

3. They said Allah beget a son (Ezra)

And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allāh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allāh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allāh's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth![] (At-Tawbah 9:30)

4. They said Allah's hands are tied

The Jews say: "Allāh's Hand is tied up (i.e. He does not give and spend of His Bounty)." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for what they uttered. Nay, both His Hands are widely outstretched. He spends (of His Bounty) as He wills…. (Al-Ma'idah 5:64)

5. They said Allah (swt) has designated paradise for them exclusively

6. They said Allah has made them chosen people

7. They said that Jacob (as) beat Allah (swt) in a wrestling match

8. They said Allah repented that He made man

There are many other ways that the Jews lied on Allah, but I will stop here

Allah (swt) said Jews break every covenant under the heavens

Is it not (the case) that every time they make a covenant, some party among them throw it aside? Nay! the truth is most of them believe not. (Al-Baqarah 2:100)

So when you hear the Jews say ‘let us start the peace process’, it is rubbish
You believe peace with the Jews is a possibility because you don't read the Quran
The worst liar on the face of the earth is the one who fabricates a lie against Allah

And who does more wrong than the one who invents a lie against Allah, while he is being invited to Islam? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers) folk. (As-Saff 61:7)

Not only the Jews lie on Allah, Christians lie on Allah as well
The Christians say ‘Holy Mary mother of God’
That’s a lie
Anyone who believes God came from the belly of a woman
Should be sectioned off as mentally ill

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) King James Version

The hypocrites of the Umma lie on Allah (swt) as well
They say Allah is everywhere
If you say Allah is everywhere you are a kafir
Because you are saying Allah is in the brothel
They say to dismantle the Shariah is minor kufr
That’s lying on Allah as well
They say Allah appeared on earth in the form of a man
They believe you can become righteous until you become Allah (Wah da tul wajud)
Anyone who doesn't have the right aqeeda is lying on Allah

AYAH 170

And as to those who hold fast to the Book (i.e. act on its teachings) and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), certainly, We shall never waste the reward of those who do righteous deeds. (Al-A'raf 7:170)

Because Allah (swt) is thankful, He will never let your deeds go to waste
He will give you 10 good deeds for every good deed
Or even 700 good deeds for one good deed
Because Allah is thankful, when you go to Makkah for every salah you get 100,000 salawaat
And when you pray in Madinah you get 1000 salawaat for each salah
Jerusalem 500 salawaat for each salah
Because Allah is thankful, when you perform Umrah during Ramadan,
You get the reward for performing Hajj with the Prophet (saw)

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "One prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand prayers elsewhere, except the Sacred Mosque, and one prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere." [Musnad Ahmad (3/397) No. 15306 and Sunan Ibn Majah (2/412) No. 1406]

When the month of Ramadan arrives, go for ‘umrah, because `umrah in Ramadan is like accompanying me on Hajj.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (1764)]

Because Allah is thankful, when you die on the battlefield
You will inherit Janatul Firdus (the highest paradise)
There are 6 special favours for the shahid stated in the hadith below

Miqdam ibn Ma’dikarib (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “There are with Allah six blessings for the martyr. [1] He is forgiven with the first drop of blood. [2] He is shown his abode in paradise. [3] He is preserved from the torment of the grave and is safe from the great fear on the Day of Resurrection. [4] A crown of honour ingrained with pearl is placed on his head, which is better than the world and what it contains. [5] He is married to seventy-two maidens (huris) of paradise. [6] His intercession for his seventy relatives is accepted.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/187-188) No. 1663, Musnad Ahmad (4/131) No. 17221, Sunan Ibn Majah (4/82) No. 2799]

AYAH 171

And (remember) when We raised the mountain over them as if it had been a canopy, and they thought that it was going to fall on them. (We said) : "Hold firmly to what We have given you [i.e. the Taurat (Torah)], and remember that which is therein (act on its commandments), so that you may fear Allah and obey Him." (Al-A'raf 7:171)

When the anger of Musa (as) subsided he picked up the tablets
And he was traveling with Bani Israel
They found it difficult to practice the commandments of the Torah
So Allah (swt) raised up the mountain
And caused the mountain to hang over them like a canopy
To scare them and to force them to practice the Torah
Because they were addicted to their evil desires

Allah spoke about this again:

And for their covenant, We raised over them the Mount and (on the other occasion) We said: "Enter the gate prostrating (or bowing) with humility;" and We commanded them: Transgress not (by doing worldly works on) the Sabbath (Saturday)." And We took from them a firm covenant. (An-Nisa 4:154)

This is the same scenario as threatening a child with a belt
When they see the belt, they behave

AYAH 172

And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying) : "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." (Al-A'raf 7:172)

This ayah is used by the classical scholars to prove that
We do not give the excuse of ignorance to people who worship a false deity
We give the excuse of ignorance for fiqh
Example, a Muslim in China may eat snake or dog because it is their culture
We will give excuse of ignorance for figh issues,
But never for shirk of ibada (the shirk of worship)

....So 'Umar bin Al-Khattab said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) being asked about it. So the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Indeed Allah created Adam, then He wiped his back with His Right Hand, and his offspring came out of him. So he said: "I created these for Paradise, and they will do the deeds of the people of Paradise." Then He wiped his back, and his offspring came out of him. So He said: "I created these for the Fire, and they will do the deeds of the people of the Fire." A man said: 'Then of what good is doing deeds O Messenger of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Verily, when Allah created a man for Paradise, He makes him perform the deeds of the people of Paradise, until he dies doing one of the deeds of the people of Paradise. So Allah will admit him into Paradise. And when He created a man for the Fire, He makes him perform the deeds of the people of the Fire until he dies doing the deeds of the people of the Fire. So Allah will enter him into the Fire. [Tirmidhi: Vol:1, Book: 44, Hadith 3075]

Did you know Allah (swt) has two hands?
Allah (swt) wiped the back of Adam (as) with His Right Hand
When Allah rubbed the back of Adam,
He saw Dawud and asked how long will he live for?

When Allah created Adam, He wiped Adam's back and every person that He will create from him until the Day of Resurrection fell out from his back. Allah placed a glimmering light between the eyes of each one of them. Allah showed them to Adam and Adam asked, `O Lord! Who are they' Allah said, `These are your offspring.' Adam saw a man from among them whose light he liked. He asked, `O Lord! Who is this man' Allah said, `This is a man from the latter generations of your offspring. His name is Dawud.' Adam said, `O Lord! How many years would he live' Allah said, `Sixty years.' Adam said, `O Lord! I have forfeited forty years from my life for him.' When Adam's life came to an end, the angel of death came to him (to take his soul). Adam said, `I still have forty years from my life term, don't I? He said, `Have you not given it to your son Dawud' So Adam denied that and his offspring followed suit (denying Allah's covenant), Adam forgot and his offspring forgot, Adam made a mistake and his offspring made mistakes. (At-Tirmidhi said, "This Hadith is Hasan Sahih)

Ayah 172 means we were born on fitra
The evidence is:

So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allah's Fitrah (i.e. Allah's Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. .(Ar-Rum 30:30)

Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger said, “Every child is born on the religion (of Islam). Then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a polytheist.” Someone said, “O Messenger of Allah, (what about) those who die before (their parents convert them)?” He said, “Allah knows best what they would have done (if they had survived).” [al-Bukhari (6599) and Muslim (2658)]

This shows that there is no real atheist in the world
Not even the Pharaoh was a real atheist like Allah (swt) told you in the following ayah

And they belied them (those Ayat) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their ownselves were convinced thereof [i.e. those (Ayat) are from Allah, and Musa (Moses) is the Messenger of Allah in truth, but they disliked to obey Musa (Moses), and hated to believe in his Message of Monotheism]. So see what was the end of the Mufsidun (disbelievers, disobedient to Allah, evil-doers, liars.). (An-Naml 27:14)

They all believe in Allah (swt)
They lie when they say they do not believe in God
Because we do not give the excuse of ignorance for worshipping a false deity,
Allah did not let the Prophet's (saw) father off the hook
Based upon the following hadith

Narrated from Anas (RA) that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, where is my father?” He said: “In Hell.” When he turned away he called him back and said: “My father and your father are in Hell.” [Sahih Muslim (Vol. 1, pg. 191) No. 203]

Don't listen to the wicked scholars
And start to preach that the man who worships idols can be a Muslim
When they speak, they speak with no hujjah
And even if they bring hujjah, they take it out of context
A Musrik cannot be a Muslim

We cannot blame our parents either
If we worship false deities

Abu Dhar said, "I was with the Prophet (SAW) one day and I heard him saying: "There is something I fear for my Ummah than the Dajjal." It was then that I became afraid, so I said: "Oh Rasool Allah! Which thing is that?" He (SAW) said; "Misguided and astray scholars." [Musnad Ahmad (5/145) No. 21334 and 21335]

AYAH 173

Or lest you should say: "It was only our fathers afortime who took others as partners in worship along with Allah, and we were (merely their) descendants after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practised Al-Batil (i.e. polytheism and committing crimes and sins, invoking and worshipping others besides Allah)?" (Tafsir At-Tabari). (Al-A'raf 7:173)

I was only 16 when I took shahada,
Why didn't others my age become Muslim as well?
You can think for yourself. Use your brain

Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allah are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers). (Al-Anfal 8:22)

The people who are dumped into the hellfire will regret not using their brain

It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" (Al-Mulk 67:8)
They will say: "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" (Al-Mulk 67:9)
And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (Al-Mulk 67:10)

Surah Mulk is so important; it saves you from the punishment of the grave

Ayah 173 says do not blame your parents if you worship a false deity
Because on the day of judgement Allah (swt) is going to dump you
And your parents together in the hellfire

When Allah (swt) took us from the loins of Adam (as) and made us testify that
He is Our Only Lord
It is called the divine covenant
The Divine Covenant is called Al Meethaaq
And this is why today's dars is called the Divine Covenant
