People Allah SWT Loves

WHAT IS
THE DEFINITION OF LOVE?
Love is
an emotional feeling that causes you to be kind, appreciative, supportive and
sometimes subservient to your love
THE SIX
TYPES OF LOVE
1. EMOTIONAL
LOVE
This is
the love you have for your parents and siblings
Ex. when
the Prophet's (saw) uncle died a kaafir, he was very upset
Verily!
You (O Muhammad SAW) guide not whom you like, but Allāh guides whom He wills.
And He knows best those who are the guided. (Al-Qasas 28:56)
As a
result Allah (swt) revealed the above verse in the Quran
The love
for your kaafir parents and siblings is ok
Allah
(swt) is speaking about emotional love, not spiritual in the above ayah
2. PHYSICAL
LOVE
Many
Muslims say they don't believe in love before marriage
The
following hadith contradicts that opinion
The love
before marriage is called chemistry
Chemistry
is to be physically attracted to a person
Mughirah
ibn Shu’bah (RA) said that he proposed to a woman. So, the Prophet (SAW) said
to him, “Look at her. That would strengthen your love for one another”.
[Tirmidhi 1089, Ahmed 18160, Nisai 3237, Ibn e Majah 1865]
This
love that the Prophet (saw) is talking about in the above hadith is physical
love
3. SPIRITUAL
LOVE
This is
the love that we have for our Muslim brothers and sisters
It is compulsory
on Muslims to love each other spiritually (not physically)
You
cannot force a person to love you physically
Perhaps
you are not his or her type
The
believers, men and women, are Auliyā' (helpers, supporters, friends,
protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islāmic
Monotheism and all that Islām orders one to do), and forbid (people) from
Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islām has
forbidden); they perform As-Salāt (Iqāmat-as-Salāt) and give the Zakāt, and
obey Allāh and His Messenger. Allāh will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allāh
is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (At-Tawbah 9:71)
The love
Allah (swt) is talking about in the above ayah is spiritual love
Allah (swt)
spoke about it a second time in 8:63 below
And He
has united their (i.e. believers') hearts. If you had spent all that is in the
earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allāh has united them.
Certainly He is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (Al-Anfal 8:63)
This love
is the love that the sahabah had for each other
The sahabah
of Madinah used to kill each other before they took shahadah
After
they became muslims, they began to love each other
Narrated
By Ibn 'Abbas: The wife of Thabit bin Qais came to the Prophet and said, "O
Allah's Apostle! I do not blame Thabit for defects in his character or his
religion, but I, being a Muslim, dislike to behave in un-Islamic manner (if I
remain with him)." On that Allah's Apostle said (to her), "Will you
give back the garden which your husband has given you (as Mahr)?" She
said, "Yes." Then the Prophet said to Thabit, "O Thabit! Accept
your garden, and divorce her once." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 7, Book 63, Hadith
#197]
The
woman is saying she cannot find a fault in her husband’s deed or character,
There was
just no chemistry
She
loved him spiritually, but not physically
It is compulsory
on you to love a woman and/or man spiritually, but not physically
4. DIVINE
LOVE
Whenever
Allah (swt) loves someone or something, it is called divine love
The
Prophet (saw) said: “When Allah loves a servant, He calls Gabriel and says,
‘Verily I love so and so; you should also love him’, and Gabriel begins to love
him. Then he(Gabriel) makes an announcement in the heaven saying, ‘Allah loves
so and so, you should also love him’, and then the inhabitants of the heavens
(the angels) also begin to love him and then there conferred honour upon him in
the earth; and whenever Allah dislikes a servant of His, HE calls Gabriel and
says, ‘I dislike so and so you should also dislike him’, and then Gabriel also
dislikes him and then makes an announcement amongst the inhabitants of heaven,
‘Verily ALLAH dislike so and so, so you should dislike him’, and thus they also
dislike him. Then he becomes the object of wrath of the earth also”. (Sahih Muslim (English translation) Vol. 4
pg1385 No.6373)
Narrated
Abu Huraira: Allah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and
whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise;
and Allah is witr (one) and loves 'the witr' (i.e., odd numbers).Sahih
al-Bukhari: Vol. 8, Book 75, Hadith 419
5. UNCONDITIONAL
LOVE
This is when
a person says to another person, you are my son
And I
don't care about whatever wrong you do
YOU ARE
MY CHILD and I will always love you
This
type of love is HARAM
You are
only allowed to love Allah, the Rasool (saw), the Sahabah (ra) unconditionally
You (O
Muhammad SAW) will not find any people who believe in Allāh and the Last Day,
making friendship with those who oppose Allāh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW
), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or
their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and
strengthened them with Rûh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And
We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell
therein (forever). Allāh is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the
Party of Allāh. Verily, it is the Party of Allāh that will be the successful.
(Al-Mujadilah 58:22)
This Ayah
proves that there is no such thing as unconditional love
Mariam
Al Mansouri's family denounced her
She participated
in bombing the muslims of Syria and Iraq
Tribe
denounces female Arab pilot:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2771731/Family-UAE-s-female-fighter-pilot-spearheaded-attacks-against-ISIS-publicly-disown-taking-brutal-international-aggression-against-Syria.html
9:23 was
used by her family to denounce her
O you
who believe! Take not for Auliyā' (supporters and helpers) your fathers and
your brothers if they prefer disbelief to Belief. And whoever of you does so,
then he is one of the Zālimûn (wrong-doers, etc.). (At-Tawbah 9:23)
She bombed
the dawla alone with the kuffaar
6. TAINTED
LOVE
This is
when you love Allah (swt) but also love the way of the shaitan at the same time
Or you
love Islam and jahiliyyah at the same time
Allah
said don't forget your portion of the dunya
But
seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and
[yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done
good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like
corrupters." (Al-Qasas 28:77) [SAHIH INTERNATIONAL]
The
above verse proves that it is ok to go after your portion of the dunya
But
jahiliyyah is haram (alcohol, nightclubs etc.)
Tainted
love is when a woman loves her husband but has a boyfriend on the side
It is
also when a man has a wife but also has a girlfriend on the side
If he
has two wives it is not tainted because polygamy is halal
Allāh
has not put for any man two hearts inside his body. (Al-Ahzab 33:4)
You can't
love Islam and jahiliyyah at the same time is what the above ayah means
You need
to make up your mind
Do you
want Islam or jahiliyyah
THE 35
PEOPLE ALLAH SWT LOVES
1. A
JUST RULER
2. A
YOUTH WHO GREW UP IN THE WORSHIP OF ALLAH AND DID NOT GO ASTRAY
3. A
PERSON WHO LOVES THE MASJID
4. TWO
PEOPLE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH (NOT BECAUSE OF RACE OR TRIBE)
5. A
PERSON WHO WAS TEMPTED BY A PRETTY WOMAN WITH STATUS, BUT RESISTED BECAUSE OF
TAQWA
6. A
PERSON WHEN HE GIVES CHARITY WITH THE RIGHT HAND, THE LEFT HAND DOESN'T KNOW
ANYTHING ABOUT IT
7. A
PERSON WHO REMEMBERS ALLAH UNTIL HE OR SHE SHEDS TEARS
Abu
Huraira narrated the Prophet (SAW) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade
in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler;
a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; a man
whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men who love each other for Allah's
sake, meeting for that and parting upon that a man who is called by a woman of
beauty and position [for illegal intercourse], but be says: 'I fear Allah', a
man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know
what his right hand gives in charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private
and so his eyes shed tears.' [al-Bukhari (660) and Muslim (1031)]
The
above hadith is the evidence for these seven people
8. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO FOLLOW THE SUNNAH OF THE PROPHET (SAW) METICULOUSLY
Say (O Muhammad
SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allāh then follow me (i.e. accept
Islāmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ān and the Sunnah), Allāh will love you and
forgive you of your sins. And Allāh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
(Aali Imran 3:31)
We have
also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the
Qur'ān), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and
that they may give thought. (An-Nahl 16:44)
And
whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he
forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allāh. Verily, Allāh is Severe in
punishment. (Al-Hashr 59:7)
9. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIM
Then
when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allāh, certainly, Allāh loves
those who put their trust (in Him). (Aali Imran 3:159)
If you
make up your mind to do something, put your trust in Allah (swt)
Those
(i.e. believers) unto whom the people (hypocrites) said, "Verily, the
people (pagans) have gathered against you (a great army), therefore, fear
them." But it (only) increased them in Faith, and they said: "Allāh
(Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for
us)." (Aali Imran 3:173)
The above
ayah also reminds us to put our trust in Allah
Umar
ibn Khattab reported that Allah’s Messenger said “If you trust in Allah
observing a true trust in Him, then, indeed, He will give you provision as He
provides the birds who emerge hungry in the morning and return with a full
belly in the evening.” [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/573) 2344, Musnad Ahmad (1/30) No.
205, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/266) No. 4164]
10. ALLAH
LOVES THE PIOUS
Allāh
loves those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2). (Aali Imran 3:76)
11. THE
MUHSINEEN
Muhsineen
means the doers of good
They are
quick to do good and slow to do evil
Truly,
Allāh loves Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers). (Al-Baqarah 2:195)
12. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO MAKE SINCERE TAWBAH
Anas
(RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, “Every son of Adam commits sin but
the best of those who sin are those who repent.” Sunan Tirmidhi (4/659) No.
2499, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/320) No. 4250, Sunan al-Darime (2/392) No. 2727,
Musnad Ahmad (3/198) No. 13072]
13. THOSE
WHO PAY ATTENTION TO HYGIENE
Truly,
Allāh loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify
themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private
parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). (Al-Baqarah 2:222)
2:222
covers both numbers 12 and 13
On the
authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin al-Harith al-Asharee (RA) who said: The
Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Purity is half of iman (faith). [Sahih
Muslim (1/203) No. 223]
14. ALLAH
LOVES THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PATIENT
Except
for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to
truth and advised each other to patience. (Al-'Asr 103:3)
And obey
Allāh and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose
courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allāh is with those
who are As-Sābirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Al-Anfal 8:46)
And
Allāh loves As-Sābirin (the patient ones, etc.). (Aali Imran 3:146)
15. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR HIS SAKE
The
Prophet (SAW) said, ‘He who fights to make Allah’s word (i.e. Islam) be
superior is fighting in Allah’s cause.’” [Saheeh ul-Bukhaari]
O you
who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islām), Allāh
will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards
the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allāh,
and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allāh which
He bestows on whom He wills. And Allāh is AllSufficient for His creatures'
needs, AllKnower. (Al-Ma'idah 5:54)
Allah doesn’t
loves those who fight for democracy, tribalism, racism, etc
Like the
Prophet said in the above hadith
16. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO LOVE HIM
On the
authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA), who said that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"Allah the Almighty said: 'I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him
when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make
mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make
mention of him in an assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me an
arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me
walking, I go to him at speed." [al-Bukhari (7405) also by Muslim (2675),
at-Tirmidhi (2388) and Ibn Majah (3822)]
If you
forget Allah, Allah will forget you as mentioned in the Ayah (9:67)
They
have forgotten Allāh, so He has forgotten them. Verily, the hypocrites are the
Fāsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allāh). (At-Tawbah 9:67)
17. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE HUMBLE TOWARDS THE BELIEVER AND STERN TOWARDS THE KUFFAAR
18. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO DON'T FEAR THE BLAME OF THE BLAMERS
O you
who believe!
The
above Ayah is referring to numbers 17 and 18
19. PEOPLE
WHO ARE ORGANIZED AND UNITED
Verily,
Allāh loves those who fight in His Cause in rows (ranks) as if they were a
solid structure. (As-Saff 61:4)
They
fight like a solid structure because they are organized and they are united
20. ALLAH
LOVES THE SINCERE ALIM
Narrated
Muawiya: I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a
person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the
grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep
on following Allah’s teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one
going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is
established." [al-Bukhari (71) and Muslim (1037)]
The
longest Ayah in the Quran 2:282 below
…So be
afraid of Allāh; and Allāh teaches you. And Allāh is the All-Knower of each and
everything. (Al-Baqarah 2:282)
21. ALLAH
LOVES AN OLD MUSLIM ON DEEN
Amr ibn
Shu'aib related from his father from his grandfather that the Messenger of
Allah (SAW) said: "Do not pluck your white hairs because its the light of
a Muslim. Anyone who becomes old in Islam, each white hair brings one hasana a
good deed and wipes out one bad deed, and raises him to one level with
Allah." [Musnad Ahmad (2/210) No. 6962]
“Do
not pluck the gray hairs, as they are a Muslim’s light. A Muslim never grows
gray in Islam except that God writes for him, due to that, a good deed, raises
him a degree, and erases for him, due to that, one of his sins” (Ibn Hanbal,
2:179; Tirmidhi, “Adab,” 56).
Al-Ash'ari
said, "Part of respect for Allah is to show respect to an old Muslim and
to someone who knows the Qur'an, as long as he does not go to excess in it nor
turn away from it, and to respect a just ruler." [Al-Adab al-Mufrad
Al-Bukhari, Hadith #357]
22. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO PRACTICE ALWALA WAL BARA
Indeed
there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrāhim (Abraham) and those with
him, when they said to their people: "Verily, we are free from you and
whatever you worship besides Allāh, we have rejected you, and there has started
between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allāh
Alone" (Al-Mumtahinah 60:4)
Al wala
wal bara is to love and hate for the sake of Allah
Only a
real Muslims practices this
It is
one of the seven conditions of shahada
Abu
Dharr (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The best of the
actions is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of
Allah." [Sunan Abu Dawud (4/198) No. 4599 and Musnad Ahmad (5/146) No.
21341]
23. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE SHY
Abu
Huraira narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Faith has over seventy
branches or over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration
that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the, removal of
what is injurious from the path: and modesty is the branch of faith."
[al-Bukhari (8) and Muslim (56)]
24. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE UNSELFISH
Narrated
by Anas ibn Malik (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said: “No one of you truly believes
until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” [al-Bukhari (13) and
Muslim (45)]
It was
narrated from Abd-Allaah ibn Masood (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said:
"Whoever starts his day caring about something other than Allaah has
nothing to do with Allaah, and whoever does not care about the Muslims is not
one of them." [Narrated by al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak (4/356)]
Whoever
does not care about the Muslims, is not one of them
You have
to think about the Muslims all over the world
The
believers, men and women, are Auliyā' (helpers, supporters, friends,
protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'rûf (i.e.
25. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE HAFIZ AND THOSE WHO LOVE THE QURAN
Narrated
By ‘Aisha: The Prophet sent (an army unit) under the command of a man who used
to lead his companions in the prayers and would finish his recitation with
(Surah Ikhlass): ‘Say (O Muhammad): "He is Allah, the One." ‘(Surah
Ikhlass) When they returned (from the battle), they mentioned that to the
Prophet. He said (to them), "Ask him why he does so." They asked him
and he said, "I do so because it mentions the qualities of the Beneficent
and I love to recite it (in my prayer)." The Prophet; said (to them),
"Tell him that Allah loves him." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 9, Book 93,
Hadith #472]
On the
authority of Jabir the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The bearer of the
Qur’an, if he regards what it permits as halal and what it forbids as haram, he
will intercede for ten of his family members on the Day of Resurrection, all of
whom deserved to enter Hell.” [al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (5/260) No. 5258
and Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (4/228) No. 2438] (Classified
Daeef)
The
Quran will intercede for you on the Day of Judgement
Even
Ramadan will intercede
'Abdullah
ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said: "The fast and
the Qur'an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of
Resurrection. The fast will say: 'O Lord, I prevented him from his food and
desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'I
prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.' And their
intercession will be accepted." [Musnad Ahmad (2/174) No. 6626, Mustadrak
al-Haakim (1/740) No. 2036, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (3/378) No. 1839]
26. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE KIND HEARTED
'A'isha
reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Allah is kind and loves
kindness in every matter.” [al-Bukhari (6927) and Muslim (2593)]
There was
a man who used to lend money to people
And he
will forgo the debt out of his kindness
Allah
will give him Jannah because of his kindness
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger
of Allah (SAW) said, “There was a person who used to loan money to the people
and he used to say to his servant: 'When an insolvent person comes to you, show
him leniency so that Allah may forbear our faults.' So when he met Allah (i.e.,
when he died), Allah forgave him.” [al-Bukhari (3480) and Muslim (1562)]
Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "Sadaqa does not decrease wealth in any way, and for pardoning someone Allah only increases a slave in might, and no one is humble without Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, elevating him." [Sahih Muslim (4/2001) No. 2588]
27. ALLAH
LOVES BEAUTY
"Allah
is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means ridiculing and rejecting the
Truth and despising people.” [Muslim] Book 1, Hadith 612]
28. ALLAH
LOVES A MUSLIM WHO HAS A CAREER
On the
authority of Salim from his father the Prophet (SAW) said: “Allah loves the
slave who believes and acquires a career (or work).” [al-Mu'jam al-Awsat
al-Tabarani (8/380) No. 8934, Shu'ab al-Eman al-Bayhaqi (2/441) No. 1181,
Musnad al-Shihab al-Quda'ee (2/148) No. 1072] (Daeef)
This hadith
is weak but I’m allowed to quote it
A lot of
people are deadbeat, perhaps it will encourage someone
29. ALLAH
LOVES THE HUMBLE WHO DOESN'T SHOW OFF WITH HIS WEALTH
Sa'd
bin Abi Waqqas (RAA) narrated, ‘l heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, “Allah loves the pious rich maxim
who is inconspicuous (free from showing off or hypocrisy).” Related by Muslim. Book
16, Hadith 1517
30. ALLAH
LOVES A MUSLIM WHO IS STRONG PHYSICALLY, SPIRITUALLY, AND FINANCIALLY
Abu Hurayra
said that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), said, "The strong believer is
better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer although there is good
in each. Desire that which will bring you benefit, and seek help from Allah and
do not give way to incapacity. If something happens to you, do not say, 'If
only I had done such-and-such.' Rather say, 'The decree of Allah. He does what
He will.' Otherwise you will open yourself up to the action of Shaytan."
[Sahih Muslim, Book 33, Hadith #6441]
31. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE MILD AND GENTLE
Aisha
(RA) narrated; ‘A company of Jews visited the Prophet (SAW) and said, ‘As-saam
alayk’ The Prophet (SAW) said, “Wa alayk.” [Their words meant ‘death to you’
and the Prophet (SAW) said ‘same to you’]. I said to them, “Death to you all
and the curse.” So the Prophet (SAW) said, “O Aisha, Allah loves mildness in
affairs, all of them.” I asked, “Did you not hear what they said?” He said,
“Indeed I responded with (on you, what you say).” [Bukhari 6356, Muslim 2165,
Tirmidhi 2710, Ibn e Majah 3698, Ahmed 24145]
32. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ENJOIN THE RIGHT AND FORBID THE WRONG
You
[true believers in Islāmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad
SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up
for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islāmic Monotheism and all that Islām
has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islām
has forbidden), and you believe in Allāh. And had the people of the Scripture
(Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them
are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fāsiqûn (disobedient to Allāh
- and rebellious against Allāh's Command). (Aali Imran 3:110)
[Sahih
International] You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind.
You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah . If
only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for
them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.
(Aali Imran 3:110)
33. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO SHOW MERCY TO OTHERS
Abdullah
ibn Amr (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Those who are
merciful will be given mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the
earth and the One above the heavens will have mercy on you.” [Sunan Abu Dawud,
Book 40, Hadith #4941]
34. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE WHO ARE TRUTHFUL
Ibn
Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "Truthfulness leads to piety
and piety leads to the Garden. A man should be truthful until he is written
down as truthful in the sight of Allah. Lying leads to deviance and deviance
leads to the Fire. A person lies to the point that he is written down as a liar
in the sight of Allah." [al-Bukhari (6094) and Muslim (2607)]
O you
who believe! Be afraid of Allah, and be with those who are true (in words and
deeds). (At-Tawbah 9:119)
O you
who believe! Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and speak (always) the
truth. (Al-Ahzab 33:70)
He
will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And
whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great
achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter
Paradise). (Al-Ahzab 33:71)
35. ALLAH
LOVES THOSE PEOPLE WITH GHAIRA (JEALOUSY)
Narrated
By Abu Huraira: The Prophet; said, “Indeed, Allah has Ghayrah, and the faithful
believer has Ghayrah, and the Ghayrah which Allah has is provoked when a
believer commits that which Allah has forbidden.” [al-Bukhari (4925) and Muslim
(2761)]
A man
with no ghaira is called beghairat.
“If I
saw a man with my wife I would strike him (behead him) with the blade of my
sword”. This news reached Allah’s Messenger (saw) who then said, “You people
are astonished at sa’ad’s Ghayrah (jealousy), by Allah I have more Ghayrah than
he, and ALLAH has more Ghayrah than I, and because of ALLAH’s Ghayrah HE has
made unlawful shameful deeds and sins”. (Sahih al-Bukhari (Arabic/English) Vol.
9 pg.378 No.512)
The above
hadith is a strong hadith not weak like the two others previously quoted
By
Allah, I am more jealous of my honour than he, and Allah is more jealous than
I... [Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 3572]
Note that
I am allowed to quote weak hadith
Because it
encourages Muslims to improve themselves
36. ALLAH
LOVES THE PERSON WITH GOOD MANNERS
Ayyub
ibn Musa reported on the authority of his father who from his grandfather that
Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “No father gave a better gift to his son than
(teaching) good manners." [Sunan Tirmidhi (4/338) No. 1952, Musnad Ahmad
(4/7) No. 16763] (Daeef)
What Allah
said about Muhammad (saw):
And
verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character. (Al-Qalam
68:4)
Indeed
in the Messenger of Allāh (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for
him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allāh and the Last Day and remembers Allāh
much. (Al-Ahzab 33:21)
Abu
Huraira (RA) reported that Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "The most
perfect of believers in belief is the best of them in character. The best of
you are those who are the best to their women." [Musnad Ahmad (2/472) No.
10110, Sunan Tirmidhi (3/466) No. 1162, Sunan Abu Dawud (4/220) No. 4682]
These
are the 36 people Allah loves.
Question
1: What are deobandi? How can we tell if the shiekh we listen to is Saudi
salafi? I also know a brother who was a heroin addict. He has made tawba but he’s
on the methadone program now. It’s a legal opiate used to wean the person off
slowly. Is his salat accepted while he’s on methadone which is considered a
drug? How can we tell if sheikh is salafi jihadi?
Answer
1: The deobandi are the tablighi jamaa
They are
sufi and follow the asha'ira school of thought
The
deobandi believe in democracy
They
believe Allah is everywhere
They believe
Allah has no hands even though Allah said He created Adam (as) with his hands
(Allāh)
said: "O Iblīs (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one
whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to
Adam) or are you one of the highly exalted?" (Sad 38:75)
May
Allah guide them
Saudi
Salafi shaikhs believe the king of Saudi Arabia is the leader of all Muslims
They
believe to dismantle the shariah is a minor kufr
But it
is major kufr according to the classical scholars
Ibn
Taymiyyah and Ibn Kathir revived the Salafi Jihadi
If methadone
intoxicates you, your salah is batil
If not,
it's ok
Question 2:
With regards to the best of us (Males) being those who treat our wives well, does
this include zero tolerance of her stupidity if she's a cantankerous loud mouth
who's an embarrassment in public, and in front of her husband's friends and
family?
Answer
2: This person is not good according to the following hadith
Narrated
by ‘Aishah that the Prophet said: “The most despicable person to Allah is one
who is harshly argumentative." [al-Bukhari (2457) and Muslim (2668)]
She needs
counseling
Her character
is not good
Perhaps counseling
will reform her character
Allah
spoke about the loud mouth in 31:19
"And
be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice.
Verily, the harshest of all voices is the voice (braying) of the ass."
(Luqman 31:19)
A loudmouth
woman is not marriage material
Therefore
she needs to be reformed in order to become marriage material
Question 3:
What is the ruling in respect to what you are allowed to see from a Muslim
sister who wears hijab or niqab to know if there's a physical love?
Answer
3: There are 3 opinions about this matter:
Abu
Hanifa says you see her face and the palm and her hands
Hanbali
says you see her the way her father is allowed to see her (without hijab)
Dhahiriyyah
says you see her by looking at her while having a shower (you see her naked)
These
are the three opinions, but the correct opinion is the Hanbali opinion
You see
her like her father would see her without hijab
This will
determine if there is chemistry
Question 4:
What is the aqeedah of Abu Usama Al Thahabi?
Answer 4:
Abu Usama has the aqeedah of the Saudi Salafis
The Saudi
Salafi takes the side of the apostate leaders
They are
in bed with the taghoot
They don't
reject them, even though to reject the taghoot is the second half of the
shahada
Whoever
disbelieves in Tāghût and believes in Allāh, then he has grasped the most
trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allāh is All-Hearer,
All-Knower. (Al-Baqarah 2:256)
The
shahada has two parts
You have
to not only believe in Allah, but you also have to reject the taghoot
Shaikh
'Abdul-'Azeez Ibn 'Abdullah Ibn Baaz said: "There is no Eeman for the one
who believes the laws of the people and their opinions are superior to the Hukm
of Allah and His Messenger or that they are equal to it or that they resemble
it or who leaves it or replaces it with fabricated laws and institutions
invented by people, even if he believes that the laws of Allah are more
encompassing and more just." [Wujoob Tah'keem Shari'ah Allah' (pg. 16-17)]
The
Saudi Salafi claim to follow Bin Baaz, but the above fatawa shows that they do
not
Ibn
Taymiyyah (rh) said: “And it is known from the religion (of Islam) by necessity
and by the consensus of all Muslims that whoever legalizes to follow other than
the religion of Islam or a Shariah other than the Shariah of Muhammad (SAW), he
is a Kaafir. And his kufr is similar to that of the one who believes in some
part of the book (Quran) and reject some of it.” [Majmua al-Fataawa (28/524)]
Ibn
Kathir (rh) said: “So Whosoever abandons the wise Shariah which was revealed
upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the seal of the prophets, and goes to other
abrogated Shariah for judgment, he becomes a Kaafir. So how about the one who
goes to al-Yaasiq (man-made law) for judgment and gives it precedence (over the
Shariah of Muhammad (SAW). Whosoever does this has become a Kaafir by the Ijma
of the Muslims.” [Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah, (Vol. 13, p119)]
While
'Allama al-Shinqiti-May Allah be merciful with him-has said: To commit shirk
with Allah in judging is of the same meaning as to commit shirk in His worship,
there is no difference between the two in any manner. There is no difference in
any sense between he who follows a system (nizam) other than Allah's system or
law other than Allah's law (sharia) and he who worships an idol or prostrates
to a false god. They are the same and both are polytheists [associating others]
with Allah. [Adwa' al-Bayan, (7/162)]
The
Saudi Salafis are guilty of making up his own religion
What he
is practising is called hislam, not Islam
Question 5:
What can you tell us about Abu Mussab from California? He is an imam and used
to be a Christian.
Answer
5: I have never heard of Abu Mussab
You know
about him more than I do
If you
know what is Islam, kufr, etc you will know yourself
You will
be immunized against these people if you come to this room
I don't
want to pass judgement on someone I know nothing about
Maybe he
is a good person because he does not bad mouth the mujahideen
Anyone
who does, stay away from him because he is a kaafir
Question 6:
What is your opinion on Assim Al Hakim? I see him on twitter responding to a
sister. She asked should the muslims obey Al Himar Sisi and he said yes you
must obey him.
Answer
6: Assim al Hakim is a wicked scholar from Saudi Arabia
Whose
job is to cement the thrones of the apostate leaders
And
recite (O Muhammad SAW) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayāt
(proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw
them away, so Shaitān (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went
astray. (Al-A'raf 7:175)
And had
We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith but he clung to the
earth and followed his own vain desire. So his description is the description
of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him
alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out. Such is the description of the people
who reject Our Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations,
etc.). So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect. (Al-A'raf 7:176)
Allah
spoke about people like him in the above verses
It is
haram to take your deen from this person
By telling
someone to obey Sisi, he has already left the fold of Islam
Sisi is
an apostate leader
How can
you tell a Muslim to obey an apostate leader?
Allah
says obey the leader who is among you in 4:59
O you
who believe! Obey Allāh and obey the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and those of you
(Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst
yourselves, refer it to Allāh and His Messenger (SAW), if you believe in Allāh
and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.
(An-Nisa 4:59)
An
apostate leader is not from among you
Ibn
Katheer (rh) said: “Thus, it has become in his sons a followed law to which they
have been giving precedence over ruling by the book of Allah and the Sunnah of
His Messenger (SAW). Whoever does this is a Kaafir who must be fought until he
returns to the rule of Allah and His Messenger. So no one other than He should
rule neither minorly or majorly." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer (3/131)]
The
fatawa of ibn Kathir says this person should be fought (mention above)
On the
authority of Ubada bin As-Samit the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “…topple the
leader if you see clear kufr…” [al-Bukhari (7056) and Muslim (1709)]
We have
seen the kufr from him
He joined
the coalition and there are riba banks in the country
As well
as joining the UN
To
believe in Allah is not enough to make you a Muslim
Muhammad
Abdul Wahab put together 10 things that cause you to become a kaafir
And the
8th thing is to join a coalition about the Muslims
O you
who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyā' (friends,
protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliyā' to one another. And if any
amongst you takes them as Auliyā', then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allāh
guides not those people who are the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers and
unjust). (Al-Ma'idah 5:51)
Sheikh
Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab, may Allah have mercy on him, gathered ten actions that
negate one's Islam (Nawaqid ul-'Ashr), the eighth one of which states:
"Assisting the disbelievers (against the believers) (Mudhaharatul
Mushrikeen) and supporting them against the believers (is from the actions that
negates of one's faith). The Proof being the statement of Allah, "And if
any amongst you takes them as Auliya', then surely he is one of them. Verily,
Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers
and unjust). (The Quran 5:51)."
Always
bring these fataawa when you debate a Saudi Salafi
Ibn
Hazm Stated in Al-Muhalla (11/138): "What is correct is that His
statement, the Most High, "And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya',
then surely he is one of them." (The Quran 5:51), should be understood on
the basis of its apparent meaning. The person being referred to is a disbeliever
from the generality of disbelievers, and no two Muslims disagree regarding
this."
The Ayah
(5:51) should be understood according to its apparent meaning
Question 7:
Asalaamu alaykum, is cigarette smoking haraam shaikh?
Answer
7: Cigarette smoking is haram
You are
wasting your money
Verily,
spendthrifts are brothers of the Shayatīn (devils), and the Shaitān (Devil
Satan) is ever ungrateful to his Lord. (Al-Isra 17:27)
Every smoker
is a brother of the shaitan
Smoking
is suicide as well
And do
not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allāh is Most Merciful to
you. (An-Nisa 4:29)
Don't you
see smoking is haram? It’s banned in the Islamic State
Smoking
is for losers
They are
very expensive
Every
Shaikh in Saudi Arabia understand smoking to be haram
